Abstract

The study aims to determine the type of botanical pesticides are effective for controlling rust disease on soybean. The research was conducted in the village of Banguntapan, Bantul in June and October 2014. The study used a complete randomized block design with 5 treatments and 4 replication, control materials used are clove oil, lemongrass oil, betel oil, jatropha seed oil and water (control). Applied control rust disease by spraying the leaves of soybean plant age begins at 14 days with an interval of 7 days. The results showed that clove oil is more effective for controlling rust disease than lemongrass oil, betel oil and jatropha seed oil based on the incubation period, the percentage of diseased leaf, the intensity of the attack and the loss amounted to 46.38 percent attack.

Abstract

Studies have been conducted in order to determine the composition of materials favored by coconut beetles as a breeding place for the control of larvae by the fungus Metarhizium anisopliae in coconut plantation Sitimulyo village, Piyungan Sub District, Bantul District, from May to November2012.The methode for this research used a complete randomized block design, consist of 5 treatments which were artificial nest coconut beetles lay eggs the size of 0.5cm3 were filled with cow dung, coconut tree powder, market waste, a mixture of cow dung and tree coconut powder, a mixture of cow manure and waste market, each treatment was repeated 4 times.The results showed that the artificial nests containing composition mixture of cow dung and coconut tree powder, beetles the most favored breeding places.

Abstract

The application of entomopathogen fungus in pest control is a part of Integrated Pest Control componen. Metarhizium anisopliae is an entomopathogen which able to infected the Oryctes rhinoceros larve so it require to be developed in the field by using the simple technology according the materials an equipments owned by the farmer. The research about Metarhizium anisopliae fungus which has just being isolated for a month from its host, then being propagated in medium of Alyoshina liquid, corn extraction, potato extraction, casave extraction, and applicated in larve cultivation web, shows the same pathogenicity after 30 days from application. The fungus propagation in Alyoshina medium shows the faster growth (10.39 cm2/7 days), much spores production (33.29 x 107spores/ml/7 days) and short lethal time 50 (13.6 days) and there is significantly influence than the other treatments. While the spore size include the length of 6.09-6.66 micrometers and width of 2.75-3.06 micrometers is no significantly influence between treatmens. The Metarhizium anisopliae can be propagated in natural liquid medium by using the simple fermentor, so obtained much spores in the short time.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the differences in the company’s performance before and after privatization. This study also examined the differences in performance before and after privatization on specific sub-samples of the data which is based on privatization method. Government policy of carrying out the privatization toward SOEs is still pro and contra. Various Privatization methods offer its weaknesses and strengths. There are different opinions on the best method for SOE privatization in Indonesia. The population is all companies which execute the privatization method. Secondary data were used namely financial statement which was taken from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and the company’s website. Data were analyzed using normality test data. In addition, the paired t-test by using normally distributed data assumption was used to test the hypothesis. The results showed that Direct method privatization positive and significant changes in measuring Total Asset Turnover. Performance conducted Privatization through the capital markets showed different results. Test on the capital market method of data showed a similar effect with an analysis on the entire data (without separating the privatization method used) that occur significant performance degradation, especially in measuring Total Asset Turnover, Debt Ratio and Return On Equity. Conducted Management/ Employee Buy-Out (MBO) privatization implied a substantial reduction in measuring Debt Ratio and Return on Equity Performance.

Abstract

Determining the age limit for marriage is very important because every bride and groom must have biological and psychological maturity. Referring to KPPPA data at the end of last year, in just one day there are 375 children under the age of 18 who carry out marriages and in the Marriage Law there is a dispensation with parental consent. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of child protection in the Protection Law with normative legal research methods. The results of the study are legal protection for children to prevent underage marriage, including a) Juridical child protection which in the Child Protection Law has applied sanctions for parties involved in underage marriage, either directly or indirectly has violated children's rights, although its implementation cannot be realized optimally if it is not accompanied by awareness from parents and children themselves. Whereas, b) Non-juridical child protection: The reason for child protection to prevent underage marriage is very important because it will result in education, association and environment, health, psychology and especially prevent the increase in divorce rates.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Keterampilan pengelolaan wihara merupakan hal yang perlu terus dilakukan bagi pengurus ataupun calon pengurus. Hal ini dikarenakan pengurus merupakan garda terdepan dalam menciptakan eksistensi sebuah organisasi. Selain itu wihara sebagai tempat ibadah juga dituntut untuk terus berkembang guna membantu masyarakat tidak hanya dalam bidang agama namun juga dibidang-bidang lainnya seperti ekonomi, sosial, ataupun kesehatan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman terkait keterampilan pengelolaan wihara yang diharapkan akan menunjang tercapainya visi, misi, serta tujuan organisasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penyuluhan yang terbagi menjadi beberapa tahap yakni persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Wihara Buddha Dipa dengan peserta berjumlah 30 orang yang merupakan pengurus wihara di Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman berkaitan dengan pemahaman sebesar 87,5%. Secara keseluruhan kegiatan berlangsung dengan lancar meskipun terdapat beberapa kendala yang bersumber dari aspek internal ataupun eksternal akan tetapi dapat teratasi dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan, Manajemen, Pengelolaan, Wihara  ABSTRACT Temple management skills are something that needs to be done continuously for administrators or prospective administrators. This is because the board is the front line in creating the existence of an organization. In addition, the temple as a place of worship is also required to continue to grow to help the community not only in the field of religion but also in other fields such as economic, social, or health. This Community Service activity aims to increase understanding of temple management skills that are expected to support the achievement of the organization's vision, mission, and goals. This activity is carried out using counseling methods which are divided into several stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This activity was carried out at Dipa Temple with 30 participants who were temple administrators in East Lampung Regency. The results of the activity showed that participants experienced an increase in understanding related to understanding by 87.5%. Overall, the activity ran smoothly even though there were several obstacles originating from internal or external aspects, but it could be overcome properly. Keywords: Skills, Management, Management, Temple

Abstract

Teamwork generates positive synergies through coordinated efforts. This has the understanding that the performance achieved by a team is better than the performance per individual in an organization or a company. From all the notions of teamwork that have been stated, it can be concluded that teamwork is the most effective way to unite all employees in carrying out their tasks to achieve company goals with better results. This type of research uses quantitative research. This qualitative approach is carried out to explain and analyze individual or group phenomena, events, social dynamics, attitudes, beliefs, and perceptions. The result of the analysis is communication at the Marketing Support office at PT. Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang has a significant effect on employee performance. Indicators as supervision/coordination, motivation, as disseminators or sharers of information, and display feelings and emotions.

Abstract

Introduction. The level of public interest reading in West Java, especially in Pangandaran Regency is in the low category, this is due to the lack of facilities that support public interest reading. One of the efforts of West Java local government to increase the public interest reading is by distributing Kotak Literasi Cerdas services or Kolecer to several districts and cities in West Java, including in Pangandaran Regency. This study aims to analyze the effect of library services, namely Kotak Literasi Cerdas or Kolecer on public interest reading in Pangandaran Regency.Methodology. This research is a quantitative study that shows the effect of variable X (Kolecer service) to variable Y (public interest reading). The population in this study amounted to 500 people, with a sample of 50 respondents. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires and observation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and intervention statistical analysis, namely correlational analysis and simple linear regression. Results and discussion. This study indicates that there is a moderate positive effect between Kolecer services and public interest reading, which is 25.2%. In addition, several facilities from Kotak Literasi Cerdas service get an average mean value of 4.28.Conclusion. Reading interest influenced by the accessibility to books and other reading maerials. One of the public services offered is Kotak Literasi Cerdas which has proven to help communities build their reading interest.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1)Untuk mengetahui pola pemasaran bokar di Kecamatan Gelumbang, 2)Untuk meganalisis pendapatan yang diterima petani yang menjual bokar di UPPB dan non UPPB di Kecamatan Gelumbang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey terhadap petani karet yang mejual bokar di UPPB dan Non UPPB. Metode penarikan petani contoh yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode acak berlapis tidak berimbang (Disproportionate stratified random sampling). Populasi petani contoh adalah petani yang menjual Bokar di UPPB sebanyak 300 anggota populasi, dan yang menjual Bokar di Non UPPB sebanyak 60 anggota populasi, masing-masing diambil 30 petani contoh sebagai sampel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian 1) Terdapat 2 jenis pola pemasaran yaitu: 1)UPPB (lelang) dan 2)Non UPPB (konvensional), 2) Rata-rata pendapatan petani karet peserta UPPB yaitu sebesar RP. 2.200.084,58,-,/Ha/Bulan, sedangkan rata-rata pendapatan petani karet peserta Non UPPB sebesar Rp. 2.060.292,98 ,-/Ha/ bulan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan keseimbangan jangka panjang antara variabel makroekonomi (yang diproksi dengan variabel indeks harga konsumen, jumlah uang beredar, kurs rupiah terhadap dollar, dan Indeks S&P 500) dengan indeks harga saham gabungan (IHSG). Data bulanan variabel makroekonomi dan IHSG selama periode Januari 2005 – Desember 2013 digunakan untuk pengujian hubungan keseimbangan jangka panjang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode dokumentasi yang terdiri dari variabel indeks harga konsumen, jumlah uang beredar, kurs rupiah terhadap dollar, Indeks S&P 500, dan IHSG. Setelah data dikumpulkan, data selanjutnya akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Analisis pengujian residual (dari model regresi berganda) dengan pendekatan Granger Residual Test digunakan untuk memastikan tidak terjadi spurious regression (regresi palsu). Selanjutnya, analisis data dengan pengujian Johannsen Cointegration Test digunakan untuk menguji keberadaan hubungan keseimbangan jangka panjang antara variabel makroekonomi dan IHSG. Tahap akhir analisis data dilakukan dengan pengujian vector error correction model (VECM) dan Granger Causality Test yang bertujuan untuk menguji kemungkinan adanya hubungan biderectional (dua arah) antara variabel makroekonomi dan IHSG. Hasil pengujian menggunakan analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa variabel kurs rupiah terhadap dollar dan Indeks S&P 500 berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pergerakan indeks harga saham gabungan, sedangkan variabel indeks harga konsumen dan jumlah uang beredar tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan Granger Residual Test menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat spurious regression. Sementara itu, hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan Johannsen Cointegration Test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan keseimbangan jangka panjang antara variabel makroekonomi dan IHSG. Terkait dengan kemungkinan adanya hubungan biderectional antara variabel makroekonomi dan IHSG, hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) dan Granger Causality Test menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara variabel makroekonomi dan IHSG adalah hubungan satu arah. Kata Kunci: spurious regression, granger residual test, granger causality test, vector error correction model.
