Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of workload and burnout on employee work effectiveness. It employs a quantitative method with data collection through questionnaires. The research methodology involves data collection through questionnaires distributed to 120 employees of PT ABC in Gresik City. The sampling technique employed is saturation sampling, involving all employees of PT ABC in Gresik City. Regression analysis is utilized to test the relationship between workload and burnout variables on employee work effectiveness. The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between workload and burnout and employee work effectiveness. The higher the workload borne by employees, the higher the likelihood of experiencing burnout, which ultimately has a negative impact on their work effectiveness

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of accessibility and visitor experience on intentions to return to Siola Surabaya. Siola, as one of the iconic shopping and cultural centers in Surabaya, always tries to increase its attractiveness through various infrastructure and service improvements. The research results show that good accessibility and positive experiences significantly influence revisit intentions.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze effective tactics used by teachers in increasing the learning motivation of fifth grade students at Tempel Elementary School. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data was collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research results show that several effective tactics include: (1) Project-Based Learning Approach which involves students in practical and relevant activities, (2) Use of varied learning media such as educational videos and teaching aids to make lessons more interesting, (3) Providing Constructive Feedback that helps students feel valued and motivated, (4) Creation of a Positive and Supportive Classroom Environment that makes students feel safe to participate, and (5) Use of Interactive Learning Methods such as group discussions and educational games that increase students' active participation. These findings indicate that these strategies effectively increase students' learning motivation, which contributes to increasing their participation, interest and learning outcomes. This research provides practical implications for teachers in developing effective teaching strategies and becomes a reference for developing teacher training programs and educational policies that support the creation of a learning environment that motivates students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of marketing communications and destination image on repeat visits to Atlantis Land Surabaya. The research population consisted of people who had visited Atlantis Land, with a sample of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The results of the analysis show that the two independent variables, namely marketing communication and destination image, have a significant influence on repeat visits. This research provides insight for Atlantis Land managers to understand visitors and design marketing strategies that suit their needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peran strategi kepemimpinan dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di PT Sarana Karya Solusindo Sidoarjo. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi kepemimpinan yang dinilai oleh karyawan efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan naratif untuk mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai yang bermakna dari pendapat para karyawan di PT. Sarana Karya Solusindo. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan faktor pendukung pada strategi kepemimpinan yang dinilai efektif bagi karyawan guna meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada 2 faktor yang mendukung variabel strategi kepemimpinan yaitu faktor insentif (uang bonus) dan faktor ketegasan pemimpin dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Companies today are faced with a variety of opportunities and threats. Entrepreneurs are starting to be pressured to innovate, minimize operational costs, and perform well in their business. An increase in sales can be said to be a series of activities to increase the release of products through buying and selling activities. This service aims to share a technology development to increase sales in the beret hat convection MSME business in Ngudi Hamlet, Punggul Village, Gedangan District, Sidoarjo Regency. The method used as basic research for this service activity is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The result of this activity is the establishment of Shopee and Tokopedia accounts that have been developed regarding business descriptions and photos of attractive products. The author emphasizes the spirit of entrepreneurship in the era of more and more competitors by utilizing social media and e-commerce.

Abstract

Limitations in the provision of rubbish bins in Pasinan Village, Lekok District, Pasuruan Regency have become one of the problems that needs to be immediately evaluated to prevent the emergence of diseases that could endanger public health. The aim of implementing to find a solution to the environmental pollution problem currently faced by the people of Pasinan Village, Lekok District, Pasuruan Regency. As a solution, a Trash Can Procurement program was held as a step to reduce the dirty environment in the village. This report will explain the role of trash cans in increasing public awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness and understanding of sorting organic and inorganic waste. The trash cans were handed over directly to the relevant parties. The community welcomed this activity well and enthusiastically, considering it an important step in improving environmental cleanliness in Pasinan Village, Lekok District, Pasuruan Regency. Overall, this activity is considered effective in overcoming the waste problem, so that Pasinan Village can become a cleaner and healthier village.

Abstract

Melihat latar belakang tentang kurangnya edukasi pada pola hidup bersih dan sehat, menjadikan latar belakang pengabdian ini dilakukan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran kepada siswa siswa sekolah dasar khususnya berada pada desa pasinan kecamatan lekok, pasuruan. Adapun metode yang dilakukan yakni dengan menggunakan PAR. Dari pengabdian ini siswa-siswi sekolah dasar pasinan mengetahui bagaimana cara mencuci tangan dengan benar dengan enam langkah, mengetahui apa saja jenis-jenis sampah berdasarkan kriterianya dan juga mampu memilah apa saja makanan 4 sehat 5 sempurna, tidak hanya teori yang mereka pahami. Tetapi juga mereka dapat mempraktekkan langsung materi tersebut.

Abstract

The development of the park at Sunan Giri University Surabaya aims to improve the integration of the green environment on campus through the utilization of ecological, social, cultural, economic, and aesthetic functions of the park as a green open space. This research uses the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method to develop the park as a green space at Sunan Giri University Surabaya. The ABCD method focuses on utilizing community assets, such as available land and the support of the academic community, to design parks that function ecologically, aesthetically, socially, and economically. Through observation and focus group discussions, community needs and potentials were identified for garden planning. Project implementation was carried out in stages involving active participation from the campus community. The results showed that the developed garden successfully improved the aesthetics and tidiness of the campus environment and supported social and cultural functions. The evaluation showed that the success of the program was influenced by community support and land availability, despite challenges such as dry soil conditions. The development of this garden is expected to become a model of environmental sustainability and strengthen the university's image as an institution that cares about the environment.

Abstract

Character strengthening activities through socialization on the prevention of the three educational sins were carried out for approximately 3 consecutive days at several schools in Pasinan Village, Lekok District, Pasuruan Regency, which were attended by elementary/MI students in grades V and VI. The purpose of this activity is so that participants can learn about the three main sins in education and how to avoid or overcome them. This community service activity uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method to collect data and provide assistance. During this activity, the students attentively followed the material presentation and looked enthusiastic, especially during the educational video about bullying and the question and answer segment. Through a question and answer session that discusses strategies for combating the 3 major sins in education, the author can assess the extent of students' understanding.
