Indonesia merupakan salah sebuah negara di dunia yang paling terdedah kepada bencana alam yang mengakibat pelbagai kerosakan muka bumi, kemusnahan harta benda di samping mendatangkan kecerderaan fizikal serta gangguan emosi dan psikologi. Keadaan ini jika tidak ditangani dengan kaedah yang tepat boleh mendatangkan masalah kesihatan mental dan psikososial di kalangan mangsa bencana. Kajian kuantitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk melihat profil kaunselor, peranan, pengetahuan, dan minat dalam mengendalikan perkhidmatan kaunseling pasca bencana. Hasil kajian mendapati bahawa 69%, responden pernah terlibat dalam kaunseling pasca bencana manakala 58.6% tidak mempunyai latihan asas dalam kaunseling pasca bencana. Dapatan kajian juga mendapati 100% responden berminat dan memerlukan latihan khusus dalam memberi perkhidmatan kaunseling pasca bencana. Implikasi dari kajian ini seterusnya membincangkan peranan kaunselor dalam perkhidmatan kaunseling pasca bencana, keperluan garis panduan dan latihan khusus kaunseling pasca bencana di Indonesia.

Comfort in Islamic boarding schools is the most important thing for students to be able to survive and follow the process of teaching and learning actively and optimally. For this reason, the role of guidance and counseling teacher is very much needed in helping to improve the comfort of students by applying guidance and counseling services. The article will try to explain about the convenience of students in Islamic boarding schools and their implications in guidance and counseling services. Furthermore this article will explain matters related to understanding of comfort, aspects of comfort, factors that affect comfort, psychological problems of students in Islamic boarding schools, the role of counselors in boarding schools and the implications in guidance and counseling services.

Each student experiences an educational process so that can become a quality human being in accordance with the objectives of level education are more required to carry out work practices in accordance with their majors. Things that are done when the practice sometimes causes uncomfortable feelings, one of which is feeling anxious. Anxiety can be interpreted as a situation where someone feels afraid, feels depressed, feels worried about things that will happen, so that can interfere with the learning process. In this article will explain the concept of anxiety and aspects that affect anxiety that can be experience by students in general in vocational high schools.

This study aims to discuss the perceptions of high school students towards guidance and counseling services. The aim of this study is to identify students’ perceptions of counseling sessions and to identify the services that students prefer. The sample of this study is 4 students comprising form four and five who attend national school from a famous Tuition Center in Butterworth, Penang. This study used interview sessions to collect data. The interview protocol comprises 10 unstructured questions that include the student’s background, situation at home, the reasons they do not see the counselor and the student’s choice of services other than counseling. We conducted theme analysis based on the respondents’ feedback. The results showed that students had a negative perception regarding meetings with counselors.

Many employees can not work as usual, even having to lose work due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Generally, employees have difficulty adapting to the demands that all are done at home or better known as Work From Home. In this situation, employees need to continue to work in the company or its organization while paying attention to health protocols that the Government has established. However, this has an impact on job satisfaction and employee mental health. This manuscript analyzes the impact of the pandemic on employee performance and the role of counselors in optimizing mental health. Many employees feel that their work must be more extra to meet the needs of life to be fulfilled and how the level of work satisfaction of the employees themselves in the face of this COVID-19 pandemic. Here also required an expert or counselor to know the job satisfaction of the employees themselves so that they can still provide services or the best results for the company and himself.

This study aims to describe SEFT and treatment in the treatment of anxiety. This study used rapport cases on three clients. The research instrument used is rapport Client Case, observation and depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale. The data obtained were analyzed by T-Test Statistic Nonparametric Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The findings from the study showed that before treatment, the level of anxiety at very heavy levels and after the treatment became mild and normal. Based on T-test results found that there is a significant difference in anxiety level of clients before and after treatment. This means SEFT is effective for reducing client anxiety.

The purpose of this study was to find out how the dynamics of forgiveness of domestic violence victims. Anything that is the reason for the victim chooses to provide forgiveness and maintain the relationship of his household. The method used in this article is the library research method. The results of this study indicate that victims of domestic violence choose to provide forgiveness because it is influenced by certain factors. This factor becomes a force of the victim to maintain his household relationship. As for some of these factors, such as the presence of children, feeling ashamed to report the treatment of their husbands, not having a job so that they depend on living fully with their husbands and considering the length of marriage that has been fostered together.

Mental health is one of the psychological phenomena found in many fields of life. Mental health is indicated by the existence of a condition that is psychologically prosperous. Individuals who have good mental health will be able to form and develop themselves into productive and effective individuals. The factors that affect mental health are factors from the family and school environment. Families contribute an important role in forming mentally healthy individuals. If a family experiences disharmony, it has the potential to bring mental disability to the family member. Furthermore, the condition of individuals who experience mental disability tend to be brought to the school environment so that it influences learning activities at school. Another thing that happened was also the emergence of psychological stress symptoms experienced by individuals in the school environment. Such conditions contribute greatly to the emergence of various misguided behaviors, psychological distress in the form of stress, depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD in individuals. This article will describe the efforts to develop mental health in families and schools to build a mentally healthy society.

This study purpose to describe the level of loneliness teenagers in orphanages X Padang city in refer of (1) emotional loneliness, (2) social loneliness, (3) existential loneliness, (4) representational loneliness. The kind of research is descriptive research with quantitative methods. The subject of the study was 32 teenagers who lived in the orphanage X. The instrument used was a lonely teenager scale level. Descriptive analysis with a percentage formula to describe the level of adolescent loneliness. The research findings revealed that (1) the level of lonely teenagers in orphanages X as a whole are generally in middle category (47%), (2) the level of emotional loneliness teenagers at the orphanage X in general are in the medium category (38%), ( 3) the level of social loneliness teenagers in orphanages X in general are in the medium category (34%), (4) the level of existential loneliness teenagers in the orphanage X in general are in the low category (41%), and (5) the level of representational loneliness teenagers in the orphanage X in general are in the medium category (31%). The study recommends to caregivers and administrators of institutions to pay more attention and to understand the problems associated with feelings of teenagers in orphanages and more attention to the psychological needs of adolescents as the need for love, attention, adolescent communication with their families and social needs of adolescents as developing social skills of teenagers. And need counseling services to prevent and cope with feelings of loneliness that arise in adolescents who live in an orphanage.
