Abstract

This study aims to analyze and develop a learning planning management model at the Faculty of Nursing, Sariputra Indonesia University, Tomohon, within the framework of the AIPNI competency-based curriculum. The study used a qualitative approach with an instrumental case study design to deeply understand the learning planning process involving study programs, lecturers, faculty leaders, and the internal quality assurance unit. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed thematically with reference to the POAC (planning, organizing, actuating, controlling) management function. The results showed that learning planning has been implemented systematically through the preparation of Semester Learning Plans (RPS), academic coordination meetings, integration of theory and clinical practice, and periodic monitoring and evaluation. These practices reflect the application of the principle of constructive alignment that emphasizes the alignment between learning outcomes, learning strategies, and assessments. The integration of theoretical, laboratory, and clinical practice learning has been proven to strengthen the development of student competencies and clinical reasoning. However, the effectiveness of planning is still influenced by limited lecturer resources, a high student ratio, and the availability of practice facilities. This study offers a learning planning management model based on management functions integrated with an internal quality assurance system as a conceptual contribution to strengthening nursing education governance. Practically, these findings provide implications for nursing educational institutions in improving the quality of learning planning systematically, contextually, and sustainably to produce competent graduates who are relevant to the needs of the healthcare system.

Abstract

The strategic management of competitive advantage in private schools is the main focus of this study to address the dynamics of competition in educational institutions in Southeast Maluku Regency. The main objective of the study is to formulate an adaptive school management model under the auspices of Kolose Johanis Ars to address fluctuating student numbers and limited resources in the archipelago. A descriptive qualitative approach was used as a method to explore the management phenomenon in depth through interviews, observations, and documentation studies at the research site in the Kei Kecil region. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, and relevant stakeholders directly involved in the strategic decision-making process. The research findings indicate that a differentiation strategy based on spiritual values and social capital is a significant internal strength for the school, but there are still weaknesses in aspects of technological innovation and digitalization of learning. The analysis results identified a gap in contextual curriculum adaptation where the local maritime potential of the Kei region has not been optimally integrated into the school curriculum. The research conclusions emphasize the need for dynamic capability reconfiguration through strengthening the management information system and synchronizing the college's long-term vision with operational plans at the school unit level. The proposed management model integrates resource-based theory with spiritual leadership to ensure the sustainability of educational institutions in the outermost regions. Implementing a systematic marketing strategy and improving the digital literacy of educators are practical recommendations for strengthening schools' bargaining power in the eyes of the public. Synergy between foundations, local governments, and local communities is essential for sustainably improving the quality standards of educational services.

The method used in this study is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The focus of this study is community empowerment for mental health education. In this research, the location chosen is Kleak Village in Malalayang sub-district, Manado City, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Community empowerment for mental health education in Kleak Village, Manado City, emphasizes a holistic approach with a focus on mental health education, active community participation, self-help, networking, and advocacy. Mental disorders are closely related to mental health, including conditions such as anxiety, bipolar, depression, eating disorders, delusions, schizophrenia and anxiety disorders. Causal factors involve family issues, genetics, drugs, and stress. The healing process varies depending on the patient's condition, involving consultation with a psychiatrist and admission to a psychiatric hospital. The role of the family is very important in the treatment of patients with mental disorders, supported by health workers such as doctors and psychiatric nurses. Mental health socialization in the community is needed to increase understanding of mental health disorders. Prevention involves regular medication, increased spirituality, quality mental health services, and community understanding. The government is expected to pay serious attention by providing facilities such as mental hospitals and increasing health programs that support mental health control both in agencies and at the community level.

Abstract

Sustainable education transformation requires evidence-based and contextually relevant planning strategies. This study explores the integration of data-based planning with SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis to improve the strategic planning process in educational institutions. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review method, this research examines secondary data obtained from accredited national journals, reputable international journals, and academic books published between 2013 and 2023. The study highlights that the use of valid and measurable data—such as national assessments, satisfaction surveys, and institutional performance indicators—significantly enhances the accuracy of SWOT analysis. This integrative approach enables the formulation of more accurate, reflective, and results-oriented educational strategies. However, the implementation of this model still faces several challenges, including low levels of data literacy among educators, limited access to integrated information systems, and the lack of structured training in strategic planning at the school level. This study contributes to the body of knowledge in education management by offering a conceptual framework that combines data-driven decision-making with SWOT analysis. The implications underline the need to strengthen institutional capacity and promote policy support for data-based planning to ensure adaptive and sustainable improvements in education quality.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of entrepreneurial leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic at Karitas Catholic High School in Tomohon City, the supporting and inhibiting factors as well as the solutions for handling them. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were five people consisting of a school principal and four vice principals. The data were collected from interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data were analyzed by an interactive model. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial leadership was implemented through the principal role as an explorer, a miner, an accelerator, and an integrator. The supporting factors are teachers’ IT skills, government allowances, parents’ support and proactivity, online learning facilities, and entrepreneurial instincts of teachers and students. The inhibiting factors are the late payment of tuition fees, the uncertainty of parents' income, the late disbursement of the government's school operational assistance (BOS) funds and the foundation's compulsory funds, the complexity of the foundation's centralized system, and the lack of online learning facilities. The efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors are coordination with parents, overcoming arrears, recording the number of students without online learning facilities, and conducting offline learning for them. The results suggest continuing to implement entrepreneurial leadership more openly and creatively, increase the supporting factors, and minimize the inhibiting factors with various efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach within the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model for fifth-grade students at SD Katolik 2 Woloan. The novelty of this research lies in the contextual integration of TPACK and PBL in a primary school setting with limited technological resources—a combination that has been scarcely explored in the existing literature. The identified research gap concerns the lack of in-depth studies examining the supporting factors for implementing TPACK within PBL at the elementary level, particularly in resource-constrained areas. A qualitative research design was employed, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that successful integration of TPACK in PBL is supported by teacher motivation, basic school facilities, access to professional training, and active student engagement. This study contributes to the development of innovative learning practices in primary education and encourages the synergy of technology, pedagogy, and content in problem-based instructional contexts.
