Abstract

Stick to the STIKES goals and mission dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency, it is natural that human resource management gets serious attention from the leadership of STIKES. Moreover, the human element is also the key to success in providing maximum service and satisfaction to the company and the society. This can be seen in policy programs relating to human resource management, STIKES employees, dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency. The placement aspect of employees in filling positions in STIKES dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency is the main thing too. This is closely related to the performance of employees (preformance) in providing the best service to students and the people who need help.The development of the government apparatus is also directed at improving the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of all STIKES administrative structures, dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency, including capacity building, discipline, devotion, role models and the welfare of its officials so that as a whole are increasingly able to carry out tasks in STIKES dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency as well as possible.This study uses a Likert scale, a sample of 20 STIKES employees dr. Soebandi, Jember Regency. The variables used are knowledge suitability (X1), attitude suitability (X2), skill suitability (X3) and work performance (Y). To find out how much influence the independent variable has on work performance, multiple linear regression analysis is used. The multiple linear regression analysis technique used is the F test to simultaneously test the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable and the t test to find out which independent variables have the greatest effect on the dependent variable. besides that classic test assumptions are also used.The results of the analysis found that the calculated F value of 19.7752 with a significance level of less than 5%, so that the suitability of knowledge (X1), suitability of attitude (X2), suitability of skills (X3) and work performance (Y). The simultaneous influence of all independent variables on work performance was 78.76%. Partially, each independent variable significantly influences work performance. The dominant influence in this study is the attitude suitability variable (X3) to work performance by 76.17%. This study did not violate the classical multicollinear assumptions and heteroscedasticity assumptions

Abstract

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease which is the main concern in the world. WHO in 2012 stated that the incidence of hypertension reached 50% of the total population in the world. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in 2013 stated that there was an increase in the prevalence of hypertension in Indonesia starting from 7.6% in 2007 to 9.5% in 2013. One of the factors that cause hypertension is age so that hypertension is often found in the elderly. Measures to overcome hypertension can use pharmacological therapy and non-pharmacological therapy. Pharmacological therapy in addition to providing therapeutic effects can also provide side effects that can harm the body while non-pharmacological therapies do not provide side effects on the body. Non-pharmacological therapies include slow deep breath and warm feet soak. This study aims to determine the differences in the effectiveness of the warm water foot soak technique and the Slow Deep Breath technique to reduce blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension in the elderly Dahlia Arjasa Jember. The design of this study used a quasi experimental design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design approach, there were 2 groups, a group treated with SDB and a group treated with warm water foot baths. The population in this study were 20 populations who have high blood pressure (hypertension) in the elderly Posyandu Dahlia Arjasa Jember and a sample of 20 respondents with sampling techniques using simple random sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is a difference in the effectiveness of SDB technique and warm water foot bath technique with the results of bivariate analysis with mannwhitney test obtained p value systole after SDB treatment and foot bath water warm up to 0.017 (<0.05) and p value diastole after treatment SDB and warm water foot bath was 0.001 (<0.05) where from the mean of the two treatments it was found that warm foot bath water was more effective in lowering blood pressure

Abstract

The process of aging in humans occurs changes throughout the system in the body one of which cardiovascular system whose manifestations are hypertension. Hypetension is a chronic condition in which blood pressure in artery walls (clean blood vessels) increases. Treatment of hypertension can be done by non-pharmacological means of electric massage therapy. This study aims to determine changes in blood pressure in hypertensive elderly based on an electric foot reflexology massage tool at Tresna Werdha Jember Social Home. The design of this study was quasy one group pretest posttest experiment. Population 32 elderly with samples using total sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was an electric massage tool using an observation checklist, while to measure blood pressure, researchers used a sphygmomanometer. Paired t-test statistical test with a significance level a <0.05, the results of the study showed a reduced systolic and diastolic mean. There is a change in blood pressure before and after an electric massage is given for a better decrease in pressure changes. For nursing staff this method can be used as a treatment for high blood pressure with more precise supervision

Abstract

This study addresses the problem of low conceptual understanding among students in the IPAS subject, where learning is predominantly teacher-centered and relies heavily on lecturing without the use of instructional media. As a result, students tend to memorize information rather than deeply understand the material and are less actively engaged in the learning process. This research aims to describe the implementation of the snakes and ladders game as a learning medium in IPAS, to examine students’ conceptual understanding during the learning process, and to determine the influence of this medium on improving conceptual understanding among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Beroanging, Makassar City.The findings indicate that the use of the snakes and ladders game effectively transformed the learning environment into a more active and collaborative setting. Students demonstrated increased enthusiasm, more frequent participation in discussions, and improved ability to answer conceptual questions meaningfully. Posttest results from the experimental class showed a significant increase compared to the control class, which continued using conventional learning methods. Statistical analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test confirmed a significant difference between the two groups, indicating that the game-based medium positively influenced students’ conceptual understanding.In conclusion, the snakes and ladders game is proven to be an effective alternative instructional medium for IPAS learning. It not only enhances students’ conceptual understanding but also fosters motivation, self-confidence, and active participation in learning, making it worth applying to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Dalam praktik, jual beli tanah di bawah tangan tidak jarang berujung pada sengketa hukum, baik antara penjual dan pembeli maupun dengan pihak ketiga. Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk menganalisis kedudukan dan kekuatan hukum jual beli tanah di bawah tangan prespektif asas kebebasan berkontrak. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan  pendekatan  peraturan  perundang-undangan  dan  konseptual  melalui  studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedudukan hukum jual beli tanah di bawah tangan ditinjau dari asas kebebasan berkontrak menurut KUHPerdata  yaitu dimana jual beli tanah di bawah tangan, meskipun sah berdasarkan asas kebebasan berkontrak , tidak dapat memindahkan Hak Milik atas tanah. Perjanjian tersebut hanya menimbulkan hubungan hutang-piutang. Peralihan hak yang sah harus melalui Pejabat Pembuat Akta Tanah (PPAT) dan didaftarkan ke Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN). Akta jual beli di bawah tangan tidak memiliki kekuatan pembuktian sempurna dalam sengketa kepemilikan tanah. Akta ini hanya dianggap sebagai permulaan bukti tertulis. Peralihan hak atas tanah yang sah secara hukum harus melalui Akta Jual Beli (AJB) yang dibuat oleh Pejabat Pembuat Akta Tanah (PPAT).

Abstract

This paper addresses the research gap where the Venn Diagram is narrowly viewed as a technical tool in set theory, overlooking its profound philosophical role in logic. By employing a qualitative literature review that synthesizes classical philosophical texts on logic with contemporary mathematical analysis, the study aims to recontextualize the Venn Diagram as a critical epistemological instrument for valid reasoning. The methodology focuses on integrating foundational principles of philosophy with the diagram's procedural mechanics. The analysis reveals that the systematic notation of the Venn Diagram (shading for null sets and 'x' for existential import) provides a formal, visual procedure for testing the validity of syllogistic arguments. This process effectively transforms abstract logical structures into a tangible "visual logic," enhancing both problem-solving capabilities and the philosophical pursuit of rigor and clarity. In conclusion, this recontextualization successfully demonstrates the Venn Diagram’s function as a crucial bridge between abstract logic and concrete critical thinking, suggesting the need to reinforce the teaching of such visual-logical tools within broader philosophical and educational frameworks to cultivate robust moral and critical reasoning.

Abstract

This research dealt with the analysis of teaching challenges faced by English teacher in teaching disabled students. The objectives of the research were to describe problem faced by English teachers, factors caused the problems and solutions taken to face the problems. Descriptive qualitative method was applied in conducting this study. The data were taken from the English teachers who taught English at the VIII grade at SMPLB Negeri 1 Lombok Barat, province of West Nusa Tenggara, based on the observation, documentation and interview from August 9 until September 5, 2021. It was found that the challenges faced by the teacher in teaching there are of management class, Lack of communication between teachers and students, and Lack of reading and writing skills. It was also found the factors of causing the problems such as students have intellectual disability and teacher's education background and physical. The solutions were found as using TPR method, double assistances and private assistant. Finally, this research finding could be useful for English teachers to teach English for mild intellectual disability in a better way despite the many challenges that probably appeared.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian tindakan kelas ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan keberanian peserta didik dalam mengajukan pertanyaan - pertanyaan saat kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung, melatih dan membiasakan diri peserta didik untuk menyusun pertanyaan yang baik dan ilmiah baik secara tertulis maupun secara lisan serta untuk mengetahui/mengungkapkan data tentang pola latihan berjenjang dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan bertanya siswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut data dari penelitian tindakan kelas ini, dikumpulkan melalui beberapa tindakan. Tehnik yang gunakan adalah melalui observasi dengan rnempergunakan beberapa lembar alat observasi berupa daftar chech list, skor penilaian refleksi tindakan. Berdasarkan data hasil observasi seperti yang ditunjukan pada tabeltabel tersebut di atas, dapatlah kita katakan bahwa Persentase dan skor rata-rata perolehan siswa Kelas X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Dompu secara umum baik. Hal ini dapat kita lihat pada hasil observasi di mana pada tindakan pertama diperoleh Persentase tertinggi yaitu 42,9% pada skor 6,0 dengan jumlah siswa 9 orang, sedang pada tindakan kedua skor tertinggi masih pada angkah 6,0 dengan jumlah siswa naik menjadi 18 orang dan prosentasenya adalah 8 5,7% serta pada tindakan ketiga terjadi peningkatan yang cukup menggembirakan dimana skor tertinggi dari angka 6,0 menjadi skor 8,0 dengan jumlah siswanya 12 orang,dan prosentasenya adalah 57,1%. Jadi dari 21 orang siswa yang telah mampu berbuat atau berani mengajukan pertanyaan baik secara tertulis maupun lisan.

Abstract

This study explored the emergence of soft Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) practices in English classrooms at an Islamic primary school in Indonesia. While CLIL is widely implemented in an international context, its application in local schools remains limited and often unintentional. This research aimed to examine how English teachers integrate the principles of content, language, and cultural values into their classroom practices, through a qualitative study involving classroom observations, interviews and document analysis. The findings reveal that teachers frequently integrated daily-life themes and Islamic cultural values into English instruction while employing communicative strategies to support language learning. However, cognitive engagement and cross-curricular integration remained limited due to limited instructional time and the absence of a formal CLIL approach. Despite these challenges, the findings suggest that soft CLIL principles can emerge naturally in Islamic primary school contexts. This study contributes to the growing literature on CLIL in Indonesian TEYL by providing empirical evidence of emerging soft CLIL practices and highlighting contextual considerations that may inform teacher professional development and future CLIL implementation in similar EFL primary education settings.

Abstract

Keberhasilan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penciptaan lapangan kerja. Namun, UMKM sering menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, kurangnya keahlian manajerial, serta persaingan yang semakin ketat di era globalisasi. Kondisi ini menuntut pelaku usaha untuk memiliki strategi perencanaan bisnis yang efektif agar mampu bertahan dan berkembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi perencanaan bisnis yang tepat dalam meningkatkan keberhasilan UMKM di era globalisasi serta mengkaji pengaruh perencanaan bisnis terhadap keberlanjutan usaha jangka panjang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis deskriptif melalui wawancara dan pengumpulan data terkait praktik perencanaan bisnis pada UMKM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan bisnis yang komprehensif, adaptif, dan berorientasi pada pemanfaatan teknologi digital, inovasi, serta pengembangan sumber daya manusia mampu meningkatkan daya saing dan memperluas peluang pasar. Selain itu, perencanaan yang matang sebelum memulai maupun mengembangkan usaha dapat membantu pelaku UMKM mengantisipasi risiko dan mengambil keputusan yang lebih tepat. Dengan demikian, strategi perencanaan bisnis yang efektif menjadi faktor penting dalam mencapai keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan UMKM di tengah dinamika globalisasi.
