Abstract

Proses memilih guru paling berprestasi merupakan bagian penting sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah. Di SMAS Sultan Agung Puger, penilaian guru selama ini masih bersifat subjektif dan belum menggunakan sistem yang terstruktur. Dengan demikian, studi ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang serta mengembangkan sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan (SPK) untuk membantu proses pemilihan guru terbaik berdasarkan kriteria evaluasi administrasi pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan oleh sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), karena metode ini mampu memberikan hasil peringkat yang objektif berorientasi pada tingkat kemiripan dengan solusi ideal. TOPSIS memiliki keunggulan dalam memperhitungkan nilai positif dan negatif dari masing-masing alternatif secara simultan. Hasil dari implementasi sistem menunjukkan bahwa guru dengan alternatif A4 memperoleh nilai preferensi tertinggi sebesar 1, sehingga terpilih sebagai guru terbaik. Sistem ini telah berhasil membantu memberikan hasil evaluasi yang lebih transparan, sistematis, dan objektif. Dengan demikian, sistem yang dibangun menggunakan metode TOPSIS terbukti efektif dalam mendukung proses pengambilan keputusan pemilihan guru terbaik berdasarkan data administrasi pembelajaran.

Abstract

Seiring dengan meningkatnya kompleksitas serta frekuensi serangan siber, kebutuhan akan sistem deteksi anomali yang akurat dan andal dalam lingkungan jaringan komputer menjadi semakin penting. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pendekatan supervised machine learning dengan algoritma Random Forest untuk mendeteksi aktivitas anomali dalam jaringan. Dataset CICIDS2017 digunakan sebagai landasan pelatihan dan pengujian, karena mencerminkan karakteristik lalu lintas jaringan aktual dan mencakup beragam jenis serangan siber. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini meliputi proses prapemrosesan data, seleksi fitur, pelatihan model, serta evaluasi kinerja menggunakan metrik standar seperti akurasi, presisi, recall, dan F1-score. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa model Random Forest berhasil mencapai tingkat akurasi sebesar 99,8%, dengan nilai presisi dan recall yang tinggi, yang mencerminkan efektivitas model dalam membedakan antara lalu lintas normal dan anomali. Penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa algoritma Random Forest memiliki potensi yang signifikan untuk diterapkan dalam sistem deteksi intrusi secara real-time. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan solusi keamanan jaringan yang berbasis kecerdasan buatan yang adaptif, efisien, dan skalabel.

Abstract

Exploring academic writing readiness is fundamental for EFL learners, underscoring the importance of refined measurement methods in global research. This study aims to assess the academic writing readiness of EFL learners and highlight the progress in the specifically designed measurement instrument. The study employed Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) on 107 undergraduates in English studies to validate an academic instrument. Participants were selected for diverse experiences and underwent the survey in their usual classroom. CFA assessed factorial, convergent, and discriminant validity. Cronbach's alpha measured consistency, and data was analyzed using AMOS software. Adjustments were made when model discrepancies arose. The findings indicate that (1) the English Academic Writing Readiness scale dimensions encompass vocabulary, grammar, structure, formatting, and time management. (2) The structural equation model highlights five dimensions with respective factor loadings between 0.50 and 0.89. (3) The theoretical model aligns with observed data, supported by RMSEA, AGFI, TLI, and CFI. (4) The instrument reliably assesses five English Academic Writing Readiness dimensions. The findings imply refined pedagogical strategies for English academic writing instruction

Abstract

The study examined the role of self-efficacy and self-regulated learning on the effect of self-directed learning on academic writing problem-solving for EFL undergraduates. The study applied a cross-sectional design to evaluate 213 students from the Departments of English Education and English Literature of a private university in Malang, Indonesia. Participants aged 18 to 24 years were randomly selected to ensure representative samples. This study assessed undergraduate students' writing problem-solving using custom instruments inventory of problem-solving in academic writing. Self-directed learning, self-efficacy,  and self-regulated learning are evaluated on different scales. Methods such as confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation models are used to ensure the instrument's validity and reliability. The study found that self-directed learning had a significant impact on self-efficacy and self-regulated learning and on writing problem-solving. The study also found an important relationship between self-directed learning and the ability of EFL undergraduates to solve academic writing problems through self-efficacy and self-regulated learning. This research contributes to ongoing discussions on the relevance of self-directed learning for personal and professional development. It encourages re-evaluating educational and organizational strategies to maximize self-directed learning's benefits and minimize potential challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of Qur'anic values through the Coffee Morning approach in character education learning at Al Razi Sinar Harapan Private Vocational School, Medan, Johor. Character education is a national urgency in forming a generation that is not only intellectually superior, but also moral and spiritual. The phenomenon of adolescent moral degradation, such as fights, disrespectful behavior towards teachers, and social ethical crises, emphasizes the need for learning innovations based on religious values. This study uses a descriptive-exploratory qualitative approach with 50 subjects of grades X–XII, which are divided into seven discussion groups. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation during the implementation of Coffee Morning in July-September 2025. The results of the study show that Coffee Morning is effective in internalizing the values of the Qur'an, including gratitude, honesty, discipline, responsibility, solidarity, and respect for teachers and parents. The relaxed and dialogical atmosphere encourages students to be more open to reflecting on life experiences and relating them to the message of the Qur'an. The impact can be seen in improving discipline, communication skills, learning motivation, spiritual awareness, and social solidarity. Coffee Morning also strengthens the teacher-student relationship and has a positive influence on the family.

Abstract

PT Indonesia Power adalah salah satu perusahaan besar di Indonesia yang memiliki fokus sebagai penyedia tenaga listrik dan jasa operasi dan pemeliharaan pembangkit listrik yang mengoperasikan pembangkit. Ruang lingkup kajian ini adalah melakukan pengamatan dan pengelolaan keanekaragaman hayati yang berada di area pembangkit PT Indonesia Power Semarang yang terletak pada 6°57''8.46"S dan 110°25''49.30"E. Area Pelabuhan Tanjung Mas Semarang atau Pelindo III. Pelaksanaan pengumpulan data telah dilakukan pada tanggal 24 November 2021, 29 November 2021 dan 2 Desember 2021. Desain Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif eksploratif. Kelompok flora dibedakan berdasarkan tipe habitusnya, meliputi pohon, pancang dan tiang, perdu serta herba. Berdasarkan status perlindungan/konservasinya, diketahui tidak ada jenis yang dilindungi menurut Permen LHK Nomor 106 Tahun 2018, 62 jenis masuk dalam kategori IUCN Red List, dan 6 jenis terdaftar dalam CITES apendiks II. Kelompok fauna yang telah diidentifikasi, meliputi kelompok burung, kupu-kupu dan capung. Berdasarkan status perlindungan/konservasinya, mengacu Permen LHK Nomor 106 Tahun 2018 terdapat 3 (tiga) jenis burung yang dilindungi, 50 jenis masuk dalam kategori IUCN Red List, dan tidak ada jenis yang terdaftar dalam CITES. Abstract

The increasing intensity of pest attacks on rice plants is one of the major factors contributing to the decline in productivity and quality of yields in Indonesia’s agricultural sector. Farmers’ excessive dependence on chemical pesticides not only leads to pest resistance but also poses negative impacts on human health, the environment, and the ecological balance of paddy fields. Therefore, there is an urgent need for innovative, environmentally friendly, efficient, and sustainable pest control technologies. This study proposes the implementation of a solar-powered pest trap lamp integrated with an Internet of Things (IoT)-based system as an alternative solution within an integrated pest management (IPM) framework. The device is designed to utilize solar energy as its primary power source to support energy-efficient operations while reducing dependence on conventional electricity. The IoT connectivity enables real-time data transmission to a cloud-based server for remote monitoring, data analysis, and evidence-based decision-making. Through this approach, pest control can be carried out more precisely, efficiently, and adaptively according to field conditions. Moreover, the application of this technology has the potential to minimize the use of chemical pesticides, enhance agroecosystem health, and promote the principles of sustainable agriculture and national food security. This study emphasizes that the integration of solar energy and IoT technology in pest trap systems can serve as a significant innovation in the digital modernization of agriculture in Indonesia. Further research recommendations include large-scale field trials, quantitative analysis of pest population reduction effectiveness, and evaluation of the economic, social, and adoption aspects among farmers. Hence, this study is expected to provide a substantial contribution to the development of intelligent, efficient, and sustainable pest management systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the improvement of students' learning outcomes in economic activity material through the use of Crossword Labs learning media in class X.11 SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. The background of the study is based on the low learning outcomes of students in economics learning which is considered difficult and less interesting. To overcome this, the researcher applied the Cooperative Learning model combined with Crossword Labs media to create an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method of the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which is carried out in two cycles through the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 36 students of class X.11 who were selected through saturated sampling techniques. Data were analyzed quantitatively using a difference test (paired sample t-test) to determine the effectiveness of the learning media. The results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes, with most students experiencing an increase in grades. These findings indicate that Crossword Labs media is effective in improving students' learning outcomes in Economics subjects.

Abstract

The demand for rental housing in high-mobility areas such as Sidokare District, Sidoarjo Regency, continues to increase along with the region's economic development. However, prospective tenants often face difficulties in selecting the right rental house due to unstructured information and subjective decision-making processes. This study aims to develop a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) capable of providing objective and measurable rental housing recommendations. The method used is the Weighted Product (WP), a multicriteria decision-making technique that normalizes weights through multiplication operations. This system evaluates five rental housing alternatives based on eight main criteria, including price, location, facilities, security, and comfort. The results show that Sukun Rental House is the best alternative with the highest preference value of 0.0769. The practical implication of this study is the availability of an efficient digital tool for residents and students in Sidokare to compare various housing options transparently and quickly. This system successfully minimizes subjectivity in housing selection and helps users find the housing that best suits their financial priorities and functional needs.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the challenges faced by UT students in participating in blended learning and to explore the strategies used to overcome these challenges. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with seven active UT students who had experience in both online and face-to-face learning activities. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis based on the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that students encounter several major challenges, such as technical and internet connectivity problems, difficulties in accessing learning patforms, limited interactions, time management issues, and physical and mental fatigue, particularly among working students. To adress these challenges, students applied various adaptive strategies, including effective time management, anticipation of technical problems, improvement of self-regulated learnin, creation of a supportive learning environment, maintenance of physical and mental health, and strengthening of self-motivation. These findings suggest that the effectiveness of blended learning at Universitas Terbuka depends not only on institutional support and technological infrastructure but also on students learning readiness and adaptive strategies
