Abstract

Indonesia has the wealth and diversity of the nation as the population of approximately 240 million, ethnic and regional languages, religions, diverse cultures, diverse customs and customs, and a wide variety of flora and fauna that all these things are very necessary to be understood and known by all layers community and built, disclosed, communicated both orally and in writing. In order for the wealth and diversity of such a nation to be known and understood as well as possible by all citizens of Indonesia, then every citizen is also expected to no longer experience illiteracy, or otherwise all literate. Therefore, the author of this paper will explain the growth of literacy culture with the science of reading and writing language skills. The purpose of this paper is to provide information to the reader community about the process of cultural growth of literacy with the application of the science of reading and writing language skills. The things that will be presented in this paper are (a) understanding of literacy and cultural literacy, (b) the growth of literacy culture, (c) understanding of language skills, (d) applying the science of writing language skills, and (e) read. It can be concluded that literacy is literacy, namely the ability to write and read. Then, the literacy culture is meant to do the habit of thinking followed by a process of reading, writing, in the end, what is done in a process of the activity will create the work. Keywords: culture of literacy, language skills, reading, writing

Abstract

This research is using quantitative study aimed to see the influence of information technologi use, user expertise, and the intensity of usage on the quality of accounting information. The population of this study was PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk, Makassar Branch. The selection of the sample with total sampling methods. The data used in this study of primary data. Data analysis techniques using multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that information technologi use, user expertise, and the intensity of usage have a positive effect and significant on quality of accounting information. Abstract

Keberhasilan wakaf sebagai salah satu instrumen ekonomi Islam dalam mengatasi problematika umat Islam di Indonesia. Muhammadiyah kota Samarinda berperan aktif dalam mengelola aset wakafnya. Peran Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah Samarinda tersebut kemudian ditinjau dari segi manajemen pengelolaan aset wakaf serta dampaknya terhadap pemberdayaan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pimpinan daerah Muhammadiyah Samarinda memiliki program-program pemberdayaan ekonomi antara lain pengembangan SDM dan kelembagaan, rencana pembuatan unit usaha dan Baitul Tamwil Muhammadiyah serta upaya unit usaha pada Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah. Sedangkan manajemen wakaf di PDM Samarinda terlihat pada penerapan 5 fungsi manajemen, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan, motivasi dan pengawasan. Kemudian peluang dan tantangan yang dihadapi PDM Samarinda antara lain prinsip islami dan keikhlasan yang diterapkan, penambahan aset wakaf dan letaknya yang strategis, kepercayaan masyarakat yang tinggi kepada Persyarikatan, penyelesaian administrasi dan penyelesaian aset wakaf, ikrar wakaf pada pendidikan dan dakwah, peningkatan kualitas nazhir dan AUM, mengelola aset wakaf yang belum dikelola dan sedikitnya dukungan pengelolaan wakaf di bidang ekonomi.

Abstract

Improving education quality is a crucial policy in Indonesia, yet Fiqh education in Madrasah Aliyah faces challenges due to potentially unengaging teaching methods. Textbooks play a pivotal role as the primary source of knowledge. This study evaluates the appropriateness of the Class X Fiqh Textbook in the context of contextual learning, aligning teaching material with real-world scenarios for practical student connections. The article specifically focuses on analyzing Class X Fiqh Textbooks in the context of contextual learning. This exploratory and descriptive study uses checklists and documentation to analyze data, incorporating theoretical insights from literature studies. The findings reveal the absence of the constructivism element, the presence of standardized procedural topics like Hajj, Umrah, Qurban, and Aqiqah, and predominantly conceptual material in discussions about wealth ownership release, usury, banks, and insurance. Consequently, students acquire knowledge without a genuine understanding of the content. The findings reveal a deficiency in constructivism within Grade X Fikih teaching materials, particularly in conceptual areas like asset ownership transfer, usury, banks, and insurance. Procedural content related to Hajj and Umrah, Qurban, and Akikah is already standardized. This gap may lead to students acquiring knowledge without a thorough understanding. To enhance comprehension, adjustments or additional constructivist elements are essential in the learning process.

Abstract

Public speaking dapat didefinisikan sebagai kegiatan menyampaikan pesan dari pembicara tertentu kepada audiens tertentu (public) dalam konteks yang formal dan telah direncanakan sebelumnya. Mempelajari lebih dalam mengenai public speaking tentu tidak dapat dilepaskan dari teori-teorikomunikasi yang berada di sekitarnya. Abstract

Jamur merupakan penyakit patogen yang menyerang bagian tubuh tertentu pada manusia salah satu diantaranya adalah jamur pada kuku yang disebabkan oleh infeksi jamur superfisial yaitu dermatofita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil pemeriksaan onikomikosis menggunakan modifikasi reagen (Potassium Hydroxide dan Dimethyl Sulfoxide) dengan Lactophenol Cotton Blue. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang bersifat observasi laboratorium. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret dan April 2023 di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Jurusan Teknologi Laboratorium Medis Poltekkes Kemenkes Makassar. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini sebesar 50% dari jumlah populasi maka responden yang diambil adalah 20 pekerja. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis bivariat, yaitu data diuji menggunakan tabel distribusi frekuensi sesuai dengan hasil (positif = 2 dan negatif = 1) kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan didapatkan hasil penelitian pada pemeriksaan onikomikosis menggunakan modifikasi reagen (Potassium Hydroxide 20% dan Dimethyl Sulfoxide 40%) didapatkan hasil positif pada 19 sampel yang diperiksa dengan persentase (95,0%) dan untuk hasil yang negatif diperoleh sebanyak 1 sampel dengan persentase (5,0%), sedangkan pada saat menggunakan reagen Lactophenol Cotton Blue didapatkan hasil positif pada 3 sampel dengan persentase (15,0%) dan untuk hasil yang negatif diperoleh sebanyak 17 sampel dengan persentase (85,0%) dari 20 sampel yang diperiksa. Abstract

Sugarcane pests and diseases are still diagnosed manually, which can lead to errors such as data loss or inaccurate data. The goal of this research is to develop an expert system for identifying plant pests and diseases that affect sugarcane yield and quality. This data was obtained through literature study, observation, and interviews. The Case Based Reasoning method is used to find cases by comparing previous cases with recent cases using similarity calculations with the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm to find the best solution from the identified cases. The results of this study indicate that the expert system for diagnosing sugarcane pests and diseases is easy to use, the appearance is easy to reach, and the diagnostic process does not take a long time. Based on testing the accuracy of the system to diagnose according to the expert's mind, it got an accuracy of 96% from 50 cases tested with the system and got a percentage result of 87.33% from 10 respondents including very feasible criteria.

Abstract

The phenomenon of Cyberbullying in the digital era challenges global society with aggressive behavior aimed at causing emotional harm through digital media. The Koran provides holistic guidance in dealing with this problem, especially Surah Al-Hujurat verse 11 which prohibits insulting and criticizing behavior. The research aims to analyze the concept of cyberbullying on social media according to the views of the Al-Qur'an surah Al-Hujurat verse 11 and identify its impact. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach to understand more deeply this phenomenon from a religious perspective. The data sources for this research come from literature and library sources related to the phenomenon of cyberbullying according to the Al-Qur'an, including texts, articles, journals and other scientific literature. Data collection was carried out through various relevant sources, then analysis was carried out using the content analysis method to identify important characteristics and information related to this research. The results show that the values in Surah Al-Hujurat verse 11 such as politeness, respect and behavior towards others are very relevant in overcoming the Cyberbullying phenomenon that occurs with the development of time and technology. Practical implications include education, training, and social campaigns to create safer and more inclusive online environments

Abstract

PT. Aliyah Perdana Wisata is a company engaged in organizing Hajj and Umrah. PT. Aliyah Perdana Wisata since its inception has focused on the field of organizing Hajj and Umrah, and has dispatched thousands of pilgrims each year and provided the best service to pilgrims while in the holy land. In order for Aliyah Wisata to be better known by the wider community, a promotional media in the form of video motion graphics is needed so that the delivery of interesting information and able to convey information well to potential customers. This study aims to design a company profile video for PT. Aliyah Perdana Wisata through motion graphic animation to be better known by the wider community, especially in Makassar City. This study uses the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method which consists of 5 phases, namely the concept phase (concept), the design phase (design), the material collecting phase (material collection), the assembly phase (manufacture), the testing phase (testing) and distribution phase. The final result of this research is an animated motion graphic video as a company promotion media regarding the implementation of hajj and umrah.

Abstract

Kumbang tanduk (Oryctes rhinoceros L.) merupakan salah satu hama utama kelapa sawit yang menyerang tanaman pada fase Tanaman Belum Menghasilkan (TBM) dan berpotensi menurunkan produktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas berbagai jenis umpan buah dan lampu warna kuning dalam meningkatkan daya tangkap perangkap kumbang tanduk. Penelitian dilakukan di Perkebunan Rakyat Desa Kembang Manis, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat,  Provinsi Jambi menggunakan metode survey deskriptif dengan tujuh perlakuan, meliputi kombinasi umpan buah (nangka, pisang, nanas) dengan atau tanpa lampu kuning, dan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Perangkap dipasang di lapangan selama 1 bulan dan pengamatan dilakukan setiap empat hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi fruit trap nanas dan lampu warna kuning merupakan perlakuan paling efektif, dengan jumlah tangkapan tertinggi mencapai 33 ekor kumbang. Perlakuan tanpa lampu menghasilkan tangkapan lebih rendah, dan umpan pisang tanpa lampu menunjukkan hasil terendah. Setelah dilakukan pengamatan maka jumlah kumbang tanduk jantan cenderung lebih banyak tertangkap dibandingkan betina. Pada pengendalian kumbang tanduk pada kelapa sawit, kombinasi antara nanas dan lampu warna kuning sangat direkomendasikan.  Horned beetle (Oryctes rhinoceros) is one of the main pests of oil palm that attacks plants in the Immature Plant (TBM) phase and has the potential to reduce productivity. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of various types of fruit bait and yellow lights in increasing the catchability of horned beetle traps. The research was conducted in the Plantation of Kembang Manis Village, Tanjung Jabung Barat District, Jambi Provinceusing a descriptive survey method with seven treatments, including a combination of fruit baits (jackfruit, banana, pineapple) with or without yellow lights, and repeated three times. Traps were set in the field for 1 month and observations were made every four days. The results showed that the combination of pineapple fruit trap and yellow light was the most effective treatment, with the highest number of catches reaching 33 beetles. The treatment without lights produced lower catches, and the banana bait without lights showed the lowest results. After observation, the number of male horned beetles tended to be caught more than females. At horned beetle control in oil palm, a combination of pineapple and yellow light is recommended.
