Abstract

This research aims to examine how the principal at SMA Negeri 4 Jambi City tries to increase teacher job satisfaction. This research was motivated by the low job satisfaction of teachers at the school, which can be seen from a lack of appreciation, low motivation and poor communication. This problem causes teachers to feel apathetic towards their responsibilities, often complain, and are dissatisfied with the support provided by the school. This study used qualitative research methods. To collect data for this research, the author conducted interviews, made observations, and collected documentation. The key informant for this research is the teacher at SMA Negeri 4 Jambi City, while the school principal acts as a supporting informant. Based on information gathered from several respondents, it appears that school principals play a very positive and influential role in school organizations. The principal has made significant efforts to improve school performance by providing exceptional services, thereby aiming to increase teacher satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract : This article is entitled Efforts to Become a Successful Principal at Nurul Ilmi IT High School, Jambi City. The principal is an educator who is authorized or officially appointed as the principal, who is given the mandate and responsibility to empower and set an example to all school members in order to improve the quality of the school. The school principal is required to be a figure who must be able to act as a mediator who can make decisions, resolve problems and be a source of information for the school community he leads. Educational progress is also determined by the success and leadership of the school principal. The success and leadership success of a school principal in his activities is influenced by factors that can support leadership success, including the goals that will be achieved if there is harmony in relationships, both relationships and interactions between superiors and subordinates. Apart from being influenced by the leader's experience as a personal motivation for success, maturity and freedom in social relationships are also factors that can support leadership success and success. The main topic of discussion in this article is how to become a successful school principal. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interview methods and literature review. The results of the interview were as expressed by the principal         Integrade Islamic High School Nurul Ilmi, Jambi City, he revealed several steps that could be considered to improve leadership skills in order to achieve success and success as a principal, including: giving the best, accepting criticism and input from various parties, and overcome various obstacles that exist at school.Key Words : Headmaster, Leadership, Success. School Abstrak : Artikel ini berjudul Upaya Menjadi Kepala Sekolah yang Sukses di SMA IT Nurul Ilmi Kota Jambi. Kepala sekolah merupakan seorang tenaga pendidik yang berwenang atau ditunjuk secara resmi sebagai kepala sekolah, yang diberikan amanah dan tanggung jawab memberdayakan dan memberi contoh kepada seluruh warga sekolah guna meningkatkan mutu sekolah. Kepala sekolah dituntut menjadi sosok yang harus mampu berperan sebagai mediator yang dapat mengambilan keputusan, menyelesaian masalah dan menjadi sumber informasi bagi warga sekolah yang dipimpinnya. Kemajuan pendidikan juga ditentukan oleh keberhasilan dan kesuksesan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Keberhasilan dan kesuksesan kepemimpinan seorang kepala sekolah dalam kegiatannya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor yang dapat menunjang keberhasilan kepemimpinan, antara lain tujuan yang akan dicapai apabila terjalin keselarasan dalam hubungan, baik hubungan atau interaksi antar atasan dengan bawahan. Selain dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman pemimpin sebagai motivasi pribadi untuk sukses, kedewasaan dan keleluasaan dalam hubungan sosial juga merupakan faktor yang dapat menunjang keberhasilan dan kesuksesan kepemimpinan. Adapun pokok pembahasan dalam artikel ini yaitu bagaimana upaya menjadi kepala sekolah yang sukses. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode wawancara dan tinjauan kepustakaan. Hasil wawancara seperti yang diungkapkan oleh kepala  Sekolah Menengah Atas Islam Terpadu (SMA IT) Nurul Ilmi Kota Jambi, beliau mengungkapkan beberapa langkah yang dapat dipertimbangkan guna meningkatkan keterampilan kepemimpinan guna mencapai keberhasilan dan kesuksesan sebagai kepala sekolah diantaranya : berikan yang terbaik, menerima kritik dan masukan dari berbagai pihak, serta mengatasi berbagai kendala yang ada di sekolah.Kata Kunci : Kepala sekolah, Kepemimpinan, Kesuksesan, Sekolah.

Abstract

All stakeholders in educational institutions, especially teachers during the learning process in the classroom, are responsible for improving teacher quality. Therefore, improving the quality of teachers becomes very important which is influenced by several variables, including the supervisor's strategy and the principal's strategy itself. Based on these problems, the author conducted research on the strategies of supervisors and principals in improving teacher quality at SMA Negeri 7 East Tanjung Jabung Jambi. The principal and vice principal and teachers were the respondents in this study. This research methodology combines qualitative and descriptive approaches. Information was collected by means of observation, discussion and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that the supervisor's strategy in improving the quality of teachers at SMA Negeri 7 Tanjung Jabung Timur Jambi can achieve maximum results in carrying out their role in learning. First, in terms of qualifications, teachers need to have eligibility that is supported by superior and professional qualities. Second, in terms of personality, teachers need to have a high personality, which is based on noble morals. Third, in terms of learning, teachers need to understand the theory and practice of education and curriculum. Fourth, in terms of social, teachers as educators need to have social sensitivity in dealing with social phenomena around them, because teachers are one of the elements of society. The Principal's Strategy in improving the quality of teachers at SMA Negeri 7 Tanjung Jabung Timur Jambi with the strategies that have been taken by the principal of SMA Negeri 7 Tanjung Jabung Timur Jambi who also collaborates with related institutions in improving the quality of teaching staff at SMA Negeri 7 Tanjung Jabung Timur Jambi has competence or quality in accordance with expectations, so as to achieve learning objectives well.

Abstract

However, sometimes there are school principals and teachers who are not active or proactive in improving their quality. Therefore, improving the quality of school principals and teachers is very important which is influenced by several variables, including supervisory strategies. Based on these problems, the author conducted research on supervisors' strategies in improving the quality of principals and teachers at SMA Negeri 10 Tanjung Jabung Barat Jambi. This research aims to identify improvements in the quality of principals and teachers at SMA Negeri 10 Tanjung Jabung Barat Jambi. The principal and deputy principal and teachers were the respondents in this research. This research methodology combines qualitative and descriptive approaches. Information is collected by means of observation, discussion and documentation. The findings of this research show that the supervisor's strategy for improving the quality of Principals at SMA Negeri 10 Tanjung Jabung Barat is through monthly meetings to review quality, discipline and politeness, active MGMP forums, and training to improve quality. Supervisors' strategies for improving the quality of teachers at SMA Negeri 10 Tanjung Jabung Barat, through qualification indicators, personality competence, learning competence and social competence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisi kebijakan pemerintah mengenai sekolah penggerak dan mengungkap berbagai upaya yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah untuk mendukung dan menggerakkan Program Sekolah Penggerak di lingkungan sekolah SMA N 11 Muaro Jambi. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan studi kasus sebagai landasanya. Kemendikbud mengeluarkan Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 1177/M/2020 Tentang Program Sekolah Penggerak, yang menyatakan bahwa setiap warga negara berhak mendapat pendidikan yang berkualitas. Melalui berbagai kebijakan, pemerintah telah berhasil memperluas akses pendidikan dasar dan menengah secara signifikan. Program Sekolah Penggerak berangkat dari asumsi bahwa transformasi satuan pendidikan dimulai dengan peningkatan kualitas SDM. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa fokus utama program ini adalah memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan kepada kepala sekolah dan guru guna menciptakan penyelenggaraan pendidikan yang lebih berkualitas di SMA N 11 Muaro Jambi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yaitu untuk memahami aliran informasi dalam organisasi dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kajian literatur, kajian teori, sumber, literatur ilmiah dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aliran informasi dalam organisasi sangat penting bagi keberlangsungan organisasi untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi yang telah ditetapkan. Aliran informasi yang efektif dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan efisiensi organisasi serta menciptakan hubungan kerja yang baik antar anggota organisasi. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang aliran informasi dalam organisasi.

Abstract

Dalam sebuah organisasi yang menyeluruh dan lengkap,komunikasi harus memiliki tempat yang sentral  karena struktur,cakupan dan  jangkauannya hampir  seluruhnya ditentukan oleh teknologi komunikasi. Format interaksi komunikasi organisasi diimplementasikan pada lingkungan perkuliahan jurusan administrasi pendidikan dikarenakan terdapat banyak segala aspek format interaksi komunikasi di tempat yang diteliti. Tujuan dari pemamaparan rumusan masalah dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa tujuan nya yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana komponen komunikasi organisasi di lingkungan perkuliahan jurusan administrasi pendidikan serta mengetahui bagaimana keadaan interaksi dan format apa yang terjadi dalam format interaksi komunikasi organisasi dilingkungan perkuliahan jurusan administrasi pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode observasi dan wawancara. Format interaksi komunikasi organisasi dalam lingkungan perkuliahan di jurusan Administrasi Pendidikan terdapat tiga macam format yakni komunikasi interpersonal, komunikasi kelompok kecil dan komunikasi publik, ketiga nya secara umum diimplementasikan pada kegiatan sehari – hari perkuliahan maupun interaksi lainnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the potential impact of the principal’s leadership style on organizational culture at SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi. Participants in this research consisted of all 47 teachers at the school, with data collected through questionnaires and documentation. To ensure the accuracy and precision of analysis, use the SPSS application for data analysis. The findings of this research show that there is a significant relationship between the principal’s leadership style and organizational culture, as evidenced by the correlation coefficient and significance value (sig) of less than 0.05. The t test further confirms the significance of the coefficient thereby providing further evidence of a significant relationship between the principal’s leadership style and organizational culture at SMA Negeri 3 Muaro Jambi. In conclusion, this research emphasizes the important and noteworthy role of leadership style in shaping organizational culture. The uniqueness of this research lies in confirming the influence of leadership style on organizational culture at SMA 3 Muaro Jambi, thereby contributing to a deeper understanding in the educational institutional context.

Abstract

This study sought to ascertain the impact of internal locus of control, job stress, and job insecurity on burnout among South Pamenang's non-full-time teachers. This study employs quantitative research and is a form of survey research. The sample for this study comprised 50 respondents who were non-full-time teachers in South Pamenang. Employing the entire sampling method for sampling. The analytical techniques employed include multiple linear regression, path analysis, and a t-test with a significance threshold of 0.05%. According to the findings of this study, the value of t-count > t table, or 2,924 > 1.6794, and Sig. 0.05 or 0.005 0.05, whereas the t-table value is 1.6794. This indicates that the Burnout of non-full-time teachers in South Pamenang is influenced by an internal locus of control, job stress, and job uncertainty. Thus, it can be inferred that internal locus of control, job stress, and job insecurity all impact the Burnout of non-full-time teachers in South Pamenang.

Abstract

Education management covers various aspects, ranging from the management of human resources, curriculum, facilities, to education policy. This literature review aims to explore the importance of Relevant Studies in developing effective education management strategies. Based on the literature review and previous research, in an increasingly complex and dynamic era, developing an effective education management strategy is a challenge for education stakeholders. One of the important elements in the strategy development process is the utilization of relevant studies as an empirical and theoretical basis. The research method used is a literature study by collecting and analyzing articles, journals and books related to the importance of Relevant Studies in developing effective education management strategies. The results of the literature review show that Relevant Studies play an important role in developing an effective, sustainable and adaptive education management strategy to the challenges of the times. Therefore, it is important for educational institutions, governments and all stakeholders to actively support and integrate the results of relevant studies into every aspect of education management, in order to create a better education that is in line with future challenges.
