Abstract

E-commerce has shown very rapid development in recent years as a result of advances in digital technology, changes in consumer preferences, and increasing access to the internet. This study aims to explore the direction of development, challenges, and potential of e-commerce in the future through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method of scientific publications published between 2018 and 2024. Of the 203 articles reviewed, 40 articles were selected for further analysis. The results of the study identified five main categories, namely: technological advances (including AI, IoT, and AR), consumer behavior trends, innovations in business models, regulatory and security issues, and opportunities open to MSMEs. The conclusion of the study confirms that the future direction of e-commerce will be largely determined by technology integration, policy adaptability, and business responses to changes in the digital market. These findings are expected to be a reference for academics, business actors, and policy makers in developing inclusive and sustainable e-commerce strategies in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of TikTok Affiliate in enhancing the sales of DTF printed t-shirts at Wifiprincess, a small fashion business in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with the owner, an employee handling affiliate operations, and a customer, alongside participatory observations. The findings reveal that TikTok Affiliate significantly boosts sales through a cyclical process involving affiliate recruitment, negotiation, new product development, content promotion, and order conversions. The process aligns with the AIDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action), where affiliate content captures attention, builds interest, stimulates desire, and drives purchases, while the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) highlights the dominance of the peripheral route in influencing consumer behavior through visual appeal. Key indicators such as authentic content creation, trend responsiveness, and strategic affiliate collaboration were critical to success. Theoretically, this research enriches the application of AIDA and ELM in digital marketing contexts, particularly on short-video platforms. Practically, it offers actionable insights for small businesses to leverage TikTok Affiliate for cost-effective market expansion, emphasizing the importance of authenticity and cultural relevance in content strategies.

Abstract

Digital transformation in human resource management (HR) is a challenge as well as an opportunity for MSMEs in an effort to realize business sustainability. This research aims to explore how the digital adaptation process is carried out in MSME HR management practices, as well as identify the challenges faced in its implementation. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with MSME actors in the creative sector, the data was analyzed thematically to reveal the patterns and dynamics of digital transformation. The results of the study show that most MSMEs have adopted simple technology such as WhatsApp, Google Form, and video tutorials in the process of recruitment, training, and performance recording. However, the limitations of digital literacy of the workforce and infrastructure are the main obstacles. These findings indicate that the digitization of human resources in MSMEs is still gradual and adaptive, and is highly dependent on individual readiness and external support. In conclusion, digital transformation in MSME human resources not only requires technology, but also strengthens human resource capacity and work culture that is inclusive of change. The implications of this study encourage the existence of digital literacy mentoring programs and collaborative policies between business actors, the government, and educational institutions to strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The rapid development of e-commerce in Indonesia has a significant impact on the growth of the digital economy, but also presents major challenges related to environmental sustainability. This study aims to evaluate the environmental impacts caused by e-commerce activities, especially in terms of increasing plastic waste from single-use packaging, carbon emissions in logistics activities, and energy consumption from data centers. Through a literature study and descriptive analysis approach, this study highlights the large contribution of the e-commerce sector to the volume of domestic waste and the need for effective mitigation strategies. In addition to identifying existing challenges, this study also explores various sustainable practices, such as the use of environmentally friendly packaging, consumer education, and the development of low-emission logistics systems. The results of the study indicate that sustainability in e-commerce can only be achieved through collaboration between the government, business actors, and the community. Strict regulations, technological innovation, and increased consumer awareness are needed so that e-commerce can develop in line with the principles of environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Abstract

This research holds high urgency given the high rate of educated unemployment in Indonesia, particularly among Vocational High School (SMK) graduates. The study's core focus is analyzing the crucial role of vocational education in creating graduates who are not only job-ready but also capable of entrepreneurship. Using a quantitative, cross-sectional design on 12th-grade Marketing students at State Vocational High Schools in Mojokerto Regency, the study specifically aims to test the influence of Industrial Work Practice (Prakerin) and Entrepreneurship Education on Entrepreneurial Motivation, with Self-Efficacy as a mediating variable. Data analysis will be conducted using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). While the final results are not yet available, the research is expected to reveal that Self-Efficacy acts as a significant mediator. This implies that the Prakerin experience and entrepreneurship coursework must first successfully foster students' self-confidence before their entrepreneurial motivation can be adequately boosted. Based on this framework, the key recommendations are to optimize the quality and duration of Prakerin and to reform Entrepreneurship Education methods to focus more on developing Self-Efficacy through intensive business simulations and real-world projects. Ultimately, these findings are expected to provide vital insights into how industrial experience and formal education can be better aligned to effectively encourage entrepreneurial aspirations among SMK graduates

This study aims to explore the impact of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention through digital literacy and entrepreneurial attitude among vocational high school students in Mojokerto City. The research method used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) approach based on Partial Least Square (PLS). Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistics. The results of the analysis show that: (1) There is a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurship education (X) on digital literacy (Z1), (2) There is a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurship education (X) on entrepreneurial attitudes (Z2), (3) There is a direct positive and significant effect of entrepreneurship education (X) on Entrepreneurial Intention (Y), (4) There is no positive and significant direct effect between the Digital Literacy (Z1) variable on Entrepreneurial Intention (Y), (5) There is a positive and significant direct effect of Entrepreneurial Attitude (Z2) on Entrepreneurial Intention (Y), (6) There is no direct positive and significant influence between Entrepreneurship Education (X) on Entrepreneurial Intention (Y) through Digital Literacy (Z1), (7) There is a direct positive and significant influence between Entrepreneurship Education (X1) on Entrepreneurial Intention (Y) through Entrepreneurial Attitude (Z2). The importance of this result lies in the synergy between education (academics), industry/digital world, government, and entrepreneurial communities so that entrepreneurial learning not only improves digital literacy but also truly shapes entrepreneurial attitudes that encourage entrepreneurial intent. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for schools and policymakers in developing entrepreneurship learning strategies that emphasize the formation of entrepreneurial attitudes, while also strengthening digital literacy to support an increase in the entrepreneurial intentions of vocational school students
