Abstract

This study examines the application of big data analytics on Bhinneka.com, a leading e-commerce platform in Indonesia, to tackle the increasing in complexity of online user behavior in a swiftly changing digital environment. The primary issue is too challenges in evaluating extensive, unstructured, and heterogeneous user data, which obstructs personalization, marketing efficacy, and operational decision-making. The study seeks to assess the efficacy of big data instruments, specifically Artificial Intelligence Recommendation (AIRec) and Customer Data Platform (CDP), in improving user behavior forecasting. Service customization, and data-informed strategies. This study utilizes a qualitative case study methodology, including literature review and platform observation, to synthesis the many forms of big data analytics (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive) and their implementation at Bhinneka.com. Significant findings indicate that the integration of AIRec and CDP has augmented the platform’s capacity to predict consumer preferences, improve marketing accuracy, and optimize logistics. However, obstacles stay the same, such as disjointed data systems, data quality concerns, and internal opposition to embracing a data-driven culture. The study suggests that although big data analytics substantially enhances Bhinneka.com’s digital competitiveness, ongoing investment in data infrastructure and organizational competence is crucial to fully harness its potential and preserve a competitive advantage in Indonesia’s e-commerce market.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of TikTok Affiliate in enhancing the sales of DTF printed t-shirts at Wifiprincess, a small fashion business in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with the owner, an employee handling affiliate operations, and a customer, alongside participatory observations. The findings reveal that TikTok Affiliate significantly boosts sales through a cyclical process involving affiliate recruitment, negotiation, new product development, content promotion, and order conversions. The process aligns with the AIDA model (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action), where affiliate content captures attention, builds interest, stimulates desire, and drives purchases, while the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) highlights the dominance of the peripheral route in influencing consumer behavior through visual appeal. Key indicators such as authentic content creation, trend responsiveness, and strategic affiliate collaboration were critical to success. Theoretically, this research enriches the application of AIDA and ELM in digital marketing contexts, particularly on short-video platforms. Practically, it offers actionable insights for small businesses to leverage TikTok Affiliate for cost-effective market expansion, emphasizing the importance of authenticity and cultural relevance in content strategies.

Abstract

Digital transformation in human resource management (HR) is a challenge as well as an opportunity for MSMEs in an effort to realize business sustainability. This research aims to explore how the digital adaptation process is carried out in MSME HR management practices, as well as identify the challenges faced in its implementation. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with MSME actors in the creative sector, the data was analyzed thematically to reveal the patterns and dynamics of digital transformation. The results of the study show that most MSMEs have adopted simple technology such as WhatsApp, Google Form, and video tutorials in the process of recruitment, training, and performance recording. However, the limitations of digital literacy of the workforce and infrastructure are the main obstacles. These findings indicate that the digitization of human resources in MSMEs is still gradual and adaptive, and is highly dependent on individual readiness and external support. In conclusion, digital transformation in MSME human resources not only requires technology, but also strengthens human resource capacity and work culture that is inclusive of change. The implications of this study encourage the existence of digital literacy mentoring programs and collaborative policies between business actors, the government, and educational institutions to strengthen the competitiveness of MSMEs in a sustainable manner.
