Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of firm value, profitability, board size, and board gender diversity on carbon emissions disclosure, as well as to determine whether sustainability committees act as moderating variables in these relationships. This quantitative study analyzes panel data from 55 energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a five-year research period (2019-2023) selected through purposive sampling. The analysis technique employs Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with a fixed-effects model and the Driscoll-Kraay standard error, as implemented in STATA 19. The results indicate that firm value has a significant positive effect on carbon emissions disclosure, while profitability, board size, and board gender diversity do not affect carbon emissions disclosure. The sustainability committee does not moderate the relationship between the independent variables and carbon emissions disclosure. This study adopts two innovative approaches, namely positioning the sustainability committee as a moderating variable, which has been minimally explored in previous literature, and applying corporate value as an independent predictor, which is generally treated as a dependent variable in previous studies

Abstract

Increasing agricultural productivity in Eastern Indonesia, particularly in Aimas District, Sorong Regency, is a strategic step in supporting local food security and farmer welfare. Papua Farm, a pioneer in hydroponic lettuce cultivation in Papua, faces challenges such as limited water, climate fluctuations, and limited access to modern agricultural technology. A community service program titled "Optimizing Modern Agricultural Products through Drip Irrigation Systems at the Papua Farm Farmer Group, Aimas District, Southwest Papua" was implemented to address these challenges. The drip irrigation system was chosen because it can channel water and nutrients directly to the plant's root zone, reduce water loss due to evaporation, and increase fertilizer efficiency through fertigation. The program was implemented using a participatory approach through stages of socialization, training, demonstration plot installation, mentoring, and evaluation. Results showed a water use efficiency of up to 40%, a reduction in labor costs of Rp1,000,000 per season, and an increase in harvest productivity of around 25% with more uniform crop quality. In addition to technical aspects, this program also increases farmers' knowledge capacity, strengthens group institutions, and opens market opportunities through agribusiness digitalization. Thus, the application of the drip irrigation system has proven effective as a model of modern, sustainable agricultural technology and is worthy of being replicated in other areas with similar conditions.

Abstract

The 21st century competencies identified by the Partnership for 21st Century Skills (P21) include communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. However, the achievement of these competencies is often hampered by the lack of student learning motivation. This study aims to evaluate the application of project-based learning (PjBL) assisted by Kahoot media in differentiated learning in class IX-H MTsN Bangkalan. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation approach. The results showed that choosing the right learning media context can increase student motivation and creativity. Innovation in PjBL learning combined with differentiated learning is proven to increase active student involvement. The well-planned learning process reflects the success of classroom management by the researcher. In addition, the achievement of evaluation results shows that students feel more motivated and enthusiastic in participating in learning and show increased creativity in the assigned tasks. The fun assessment atmosphere also contributed to the positive learning experience. The implication of this study shows that the implementation of PjBL with Kahoot media can be an effective strategy to increase students' motivation and engagement in differentiated learning

Abstract

The success of providing public services is largely determined by the level of community satisfaction. Community satisfaction is achieved when service recipients receive services in accordance with what is needed and expected. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the level of public satisfaction in the provision of public services at the Tempe District Office, Wajo Regency, as well as to analyze and describe the factors that are obstacles and supporters in the provision of public services at the Tempe District Office, Wajo Regency. This type of research is a qualitative case study type approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The results of the research show that the analysis of community satisfaction in the implementation of public services at the Tempe District Office, Wajo Regency is based on indicators of elements of community satisfaction, namely requirements, systems, mechanisms, procedures, completion time, tariff costs, product specifications, types of services, competency of implementers, behavior of implementers, complaint handling, facilities and infrastructure can be categorized as not fully meeting community satisfaction and service recipients have not received services according to what is needed and expected. This can be seen in the uncertainty of the completion time for population administration services, as well as the lack of population data processing equipment. Apart from that, there is still a lack of socialization to the public regarding service requirements, so that it does not meet the expectations and satisfaction of service users.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model on students’ communication skills, self-efficacy, and learning outcomes. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 57 students, divided into two classes: the experimental class, which was treated using the Think Pair Share model, and the control class, which was taught using conventional lecture methods. The instruments used in this study included a communication skills questionnaire, a self-efficacy questionnaire, a learning achievement test, and an observation sheet. Data were analyzed using t-tests and N-Gain to examine significant differences between the two groups. The results of the study show that: (1) The TPS learning model had an effect on students’ communication skills. The application of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model improved students’ communication skills in grade IX, as indicated by the average score of the communication skills questionnaire per item, which was 3.69 and categorized as very good. Classroom observations also showed that students actively engaged in discussions, expressed opinions, and gave constructive feedback to their peers. (2) The TPS model had a significant effect on students’ self-efficacy. The t-test result showed t = 7.014 with p = 0.000 0.05, indicating that the difference in self-efficacy between the experimental and control classes was statistically significant. Observations supported this finding, showing that students became more confident in expressing opinions, actively participated, and were able to take initiative in completing tasks. (3) The TPS model also had a significant effect on learning outcomes. The experimental class obtained an average N-Gain score of 0.79 (high category), while the control class obtained 0.38 (moderate category). This indicates that students who were taught using TPS experienced better mastery of the material and collaborative skills compared to those taught using conventional methods.

Abstract

This study developed and evaluated a computer simulation–based Internet of Things (IoT) lecture module for the Artificial Intelligence for Science Education course to address the gap between abstract IoT concepts and classroom practice in science teacher education. Adopting an R&D approach with the ADDIE model, the module was structured into five subtopics aligned with explicit learning outcomes and supported by simulations, examples, and authentic projects. Expert validation (five validators: content, media, instructional, and evaluation) examined content, language, and presentation using Aiken’s V and Percentage of Agreement. Practicality was assessed via expert questionnaires (ease of use, attractiveness, usefulness, contextual relevance). Implementation involved a trial with 40 prospective science teachers, including a 5-point Likert readability survey. Content validity increased from 0.860 (valid) to 0.960 (very valid), and inter-rater reliability rose from 0.712 (fair) to 0.757 (good) after systematic revisions. Language validity improved from 0.833 to 0.950 (very valid); presentation remained strong at 0.893 (very valid) with qualitative enhancements to visual design. Expected practicality averaged 92% across dimensions (ease of use 91%; attractiveness 92%; usefulness 92%; contextual relevance 92%). Readability scores were consistently “highly readable” across seven dimensions (4.44–4.56), indicating clear language and style, logical sequencing, effective multimodal supports, manageable cognitive load, strong contextual relevance, and robust technical accessibility. The module is ready for classroom adoption, offering a scalable template for integrating IoT through simulations and authentic cases in preservice teacher education.
