Abstract

This research is entitled Student Facilitator and Explaining Method to Improve Student Learning Outcomes of Buddhist Education Class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sungailiat Academic Year 2021/2022. This research is an attempt to improve students' ability to speak, communicate and appear in front of their friends more confidently. In the Student Facilitator and Explaining method, students are required to be more active and can create a pleasant learning atmosphere. This research departs from the background of the need for renewal in improving student learning outcomes, because during the last two years during the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers carried out rigid online learning processes, such as the use of Powerpoint and lectures in the virtual learning process. This situation has the potential to cause boredom, boredom and reduce student interest and motivation to learn. The problem in this research is whether the Student Facilitator and Explaining method can improve the learning outcomes of eighth grade Buddhist Education students at SMP Negeri 3 Sungailiat. The method used in this study is the Student Facilitator and Explaining method which aims to improve students' ability to speak, communicate and perform in front of their friends. This research was carried out using a cycle. In the first cycle, some students were not familiar with the conditions of learning the online Student Facilitator and Explaining learning method, so actions were taken by providing explanations and videos of peer exposure to other students. The results of the test in the first cycle, the success of the eighth grade Buddhist religious education students at SMP Negeri 3 Sungailiat changed for the better, so it can be concluded that in this study the Student Facilitator and Explaining method was able to improve student learning outcomes so that they achieved mastery learning.

Abstract

This research was conducted in response to the observed low learning outcomes among third-grade students at SDN Sombron, particularly in the subject of Mathematics, with a focus on simple fractions. The prevailing teaching and learning methods in these classes predominantly revolved around teacher-centered lectures. Consequently, the research aimed to enhance students' learning outcomes by incorporating concrete instructional media. The study employed the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, implemented over two cycles. Each cycle encompassed four distinct phases: planning, action (implementation), observation, and reflection. The research involved a total of 15 third-grade students, comprising 6 male and 9 female students, as the study subjects. The findings revealed a noticeable improvement in student learning outcomes when concrete media were integrated into mathematics instruction, specifically in the context of simple fractions. During the initial cycle, 53% of students exceeded the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), equivalent to 8 students. However, in the subsequent cycle, a substantial and remarkable improvement in learning outcomes was observed, with a 100% success rate. In other words, all 15 students surpassed the KKM, indicating the effectiveness of using concrete media in enhancing learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The term creative economy was first introduced by John Howkins in 2001. Starting in 1997, at that time John Howkins realized there was a change in the economic industry based on people's creativity. The creative economy in the digital era is currently growing, besides offering opportunities, it also creates competition. In Situbondo Regency, the culinary world and its actors receive special attention in facing competition. One of the steps taken by the Tourism, Youth and Sports Service is to hold culinary business development training. So the authors are interested in conducting this research which aims to find out how training in culinary development influences creative economic growth. This study uses quantitative methods with simple linear regression analysis. Data collection through observation, questionnaires and documentation. Questionnaires were distributed to 40 culinary business development training participants. Based on the results of the t test, the t count value is 2.209 > t table 2.024, so it can be concluded that culinary business development training has a positive effect on creative economic growth in Situbondo Regency. Meanwhile, based on the results of the R2  test analysis, it shows that the r square value is 0.486, which means that culinary business development training has an effect on creative economic growth of 48.6% and the remaining 51.4% is influenced by other variables outside of this study. Keywords: Training, Culinary Business Development, Creative Economy

Abstract

Background: Patients with mental disorders experience disturbances in mental function, which include emotions, thoughts, behavior, motivation, self-perception, and perception, which causes a decrease in all mental functions, especially interests, and motivations so that it interferes with a person in the process of living in society. One o the most common mental disorders is schizophrenia. This study aims to study the effect of classical music therapy on depression level in schizophrenic patients at the Soeprapto Mental Hospital, Bengkulu Province Methods: The design in this study used a pre-experimental design. The design form of a pre-experimental study is "pre-test and post-test One Group Design". The population in this study were Schizophrenic patients who experienced depression. The sample used in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique. This technique is a sampling technique with certain considerations, obtained as many as 25 patients. Data collection in this study used univariate and bivariate analysis using the normality test using the Shapiro Wilk test. Results: The results obtained before providing classical music therapy treatment from 25 Schizophrenic patients had a very severe level of depression with a percentage of (100%) and the results after classical music therapy treatment showed that the level of schizophrenia patients who experienced depression after classical music therapy treatment was 7 patients. The result shows that have a moderate level of depression with a percentage of 28% and 18 patients have a level of severe depression with a percentage of 72%. Based on the results of the Paired sample t-test statistical test there is a significant relationship, the value of t = 20,953 with p = 0.000 <0.05 means significant, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using classical music therapy on the level of depression in schizophrenic patients. at RSKJ Soeprapto Bengkulu Province. Conclusion: Based on the result of research there is an effect of using classical music therapy on the level of depression in schizophrenic patients. at RSKJ Soeprapto Bengkulu Province

Abstract

Es Teh Indonesia is a Food & Beverages (F&B) company founded by Haidhar Wurjanto in 2018. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand image, product variety and price on purchasing decisions at the bima branch of Indonesian iced tea. The type of research is associative, The research instrument used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The population used in this study were all consumers of Indonesian iced tea in the Bima branch whose number was unknown (unknown population). The number of samples used in this study were 96 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques with observation, questionnaires, and literature study. Data analysis techniques by carrying out validity tests, reliability tests, multiple linear regression tests, correlation coefficients, determination tests, t tests, and f tests. The results of this study indicate that brand image and price have a significant effect on purchasing decisions at the Bima branch of Indonesian iced tea and for product variations have no significant effect on purchasing decisions at the Bima branch of Indonesian iced tea.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the therapeutic effect of guava leaf powder and turmeric powder on the healing of diarrhea in sheep. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments, each consisting of three repetitions. P0 treatment as a control in three sheep and nine sheep for P1, P2, and P3 treatments with different doses (400 mg/kg BW, 500 mg/kg BW, 600 mg/kg BW). Parameters assessed were frequency of defecation, consistency, and color of sheep feces. The combined treatment of guava leaf powder and turmeric powder on sheep diarrhea was analyzed using ANOVA statistical analysis and Duncan's further test after scoring changes in healing. The result of the ANOVA analysis was a significant difference of 0.007 (P<0.01) on Day 3 compared to Day 1 and Day 2. Duncan's further test was that P0 was not significantly different from P1 but significantly different from P2 and P3. P1 was not significantly different from P0 and P2 but significantly different from P3. P2 was significantly different from P0 but not significantly different from P1 and P3, while P3 with P0 and P1 showed significantly different but not significantly different from P2.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan dan  peningkatan pembelajaran  keterampilan menceritakan kembali cerpen serta kelebihan, kekurangan penerapan metode mind mapping dalam pembelajaran  keterampilan menceritakan kembali cerpen  siswa kelas VI A SDN Medokan Ayu II/615 Surabaya tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan PTK dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian siswa kelas VI A berjumlah 30 siswa. Rancangan dan prosedur penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis Taggart dengan dua siklus. Tahapan tiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui pengamatan, tes performance, dan wawancara. Analisis data dari hasil tes unjuk kerja, reduksi data, paparan data, dan kesimpulan. Kriteria penilaian terdiri dari aspek kebahasaan dengan indikator ketepatan vokal dan konsonan isi cerpen, diksi, tekanan nada dan tempo. Aspek nonkebahasaan dengan indikator keberanian, kelancaran dan sikap. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran keterampilan menceritakan kembali cerpen dengan metode mind mapping, siswa  bersemangat dan suasana kelas menjadi lebih aktif. Peningkatan keterampilan menceritakan kembali cerpen dengan metode mind mapping siswa pada siklus I ( 73%) dan siklus II ( 79%). Kelebihan metode mind mapp dapat mempermudahkan siswa dalam melakukan kegiatan menceritakan kembali isi cerpen, sedangkan kekurangannya yaitu perlu bimbingan intensif bagi siswa yang baru mengenal metode ini. Kata kunci : Kemampuan Menceritakan Kembali, Cerpen,     Mind     Mapping

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tanaman kelor merupakan tanaman lokal yang bisa digunakan untuk peningkatan nutrisi ibu hamil dan keluarga. Tanaman kelor memiliki daun yang bisa dikonsumsi untuk makanan olahan rumah tangga. Kendati demikian tidak semua masyarakat Warga Makmur Jaya mengetahui manfaatan daun kelor (Moringa Oleifera). Dalam konteks masyarakat warga makmur jaya, daun kelor dikenal sebagai tanaman mistik atau tanaman liar yang tidak memiliki banyak khasiat serta manfaat. Stigma ini yang membuat daun kelor kurang banyak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat di wilayah warga makmur jaya. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan bidan desa warga makmur jaya terdapat 27 ibu hamil dan 3 diantaranya mengalami KEK (kekurangan energi kalori). Dari masalah tersebut maka timbul gagasan dan inisiatif untuk melakukan Pengolahan daun kelor menjadi puding  untuk menambah gizi pada ibu hamil. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan melakukan penyuluhan dan demonstrasi pembuatan puding daun kelor pada ibu hamil. Hasil analisis deskriptif perhitungan kuantitatif terkait dengan dampak pemberdayaan melalui penyuluhan dan pembuatan puding daun kelor, bisa ditarik kesimpulan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang manfaat daun kelor sebagai sumber gizi untuk mencegah terjadinya Kekurangan energi kalori baik pada ibu hamil dan peningkatan keterampilan ibu hamil dalam mengolah daun kelor. Kata Kunci: Tanaman Kelor, Ibu Hamil KEK, Puding Daun Kelor  ABSTRACT The moringa plant is a local plant that can be used to improve the nutrition of pregnant women and families. The moringa plant has leaves that can be consumed for household food processing. However, not all residents of Warga Makmur Jaya are aware of the benefits of moringa leaves (Moringa Oleifera). In the context of the Warga Makmur Jaya community, moringa leaves are known as mystical plants or wild plants that do not have many benefits. This stigma has led to moringa leaves being underutilized by the community in the Warga Makmur Jaya area. Based on interviews with village midwives in Warga Makmur Jaya, there were 27 pregnant women, and 3 of them experienced calorie and energy deficiency (KEK). From this issue arose the idea and initiative to process moringa leaves into pudding to increase nutrition for pregnant women. The method used is by providing education and demonstrating the making of moringa leaf pudding to pregnant women. Descriptive analysis of quantitative calculations related to the impact of empowerment through education and making moringa leaf pudding leads to the conclusion that there is an increase in pregnant women's knowledge about the benefits of moringa leaves as a source of nutrition to prevent calorie and energy deficiency in pregnant women, as well as an increase in pregnant women's skills in processing moringa leaves.  Keywords: Moringa Plant, Pregnant Women with Calorie and Energy Deficiency (KEK), Moringa Leaf Pudding.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh flushing vitamin E menggunakan minyak biji bunga matahari (Helianthus annuus L.) terhadap masa involusi uterus dan kualitas estrus kambing Sapera. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan di Semesta Farm, Kecamatan Ngemplak, Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Analisis data menggunakan Analisis Of Varians (ANOVA) dengan uji lanjut Duncan Muttiple  Range Test  (DMRT) untuk data parametrik, dan untuk data non-parametrik menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis Test dengan uji lanjut Mann Whitney U Test. Sampel penelitian menggunakan ternak kambing Sapera sebanyak 12 ekor kambing betina dengan umur kebuntingan 4 sampai 5 bulan. Perlakuan terdiri dari: P0 (tanpa pemberian minyak biji bunga matahari), P1 (3 ml) minyak biji bunga matahari, P2 (6 ml) minyak biji bunga matahari, dan P3 (9 ml) minyak biji bunga matahari. Variabel yang diamati meliputi masa involusi uterus dan kualitas estrus (suhu vagina, warna vulva, dan lendir vulva). Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa minyak biji bunga matahari berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap masa involusi uterus dan berpengaruh nyata (P<0.05) terhadap suhu vagina dan warna vulva, serta tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap lendir vulva. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa perlakuan terbaik pada P2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian minyak biji bunga matahari sebagai flushing vitamin E memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik terhadap masa involusi uterus dan kualitas estrus (suhu vagina dan warna vulva) kambing Sapera.

Abstract

This paper tries to explore the empowering model through the function of cassava commodity as an increase of prosperous people in Giricahyo Village, Gunungkidul. Through a community-based research approach, qualitatively, a workshop for cassava commodity development has become the trend in the empowerment program. The framework to change the way of positivistic paradigm to shift more than holistic, synergic, and transdisciplinary can be claimed as a new model of social intervention. Furthermore, the study finds that assistance people can be optimized when it is paradigm implemented in the community development process. This article argues that the innovation of cassava processed in various creativity can appear new understood and knowledge for people to restricted productivity. Society has been motivated to open a new enterprise product. However, social welfare can not evaluate in this program. Optimization of cassava processed has become snack produce that it can be a solution of increasing prosperous people with the evaluation of the program.Tulisan ini mengeksplorasi model pemberdayaan melalui pemanfaatan komoditas ketela sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Giricahyo, Gunungkidul. Melalui pendekatan community-based research, secara kualitatif, pelatihan pengembangan komoditas ketela menjadi trend dalam program pemberdayaan. Kerangka kerja dari perubahan cara pandang pemikiran positivistik ke arah yang lebih holistik, sinergis, dan transdisipliner dapat diklaim sebagai model intervensi sosial baru. Karena itu, studi ini menemukan pendampingan masyarakat dapat berjalan optimal ketika paradigma tersebut diterapkan dalam proses pemberdayaan. Artikel ini berargumentasi bahwa inovasi olahan ketela dengan beragam varian kreativitas dapat memunculkan pemahaman dan wawasan baru bagi masyarakat dalam produksi yang terbatas. Masyarakat telah termotivasi untuk membuka usaha baru. Namun demikian, tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat tidak dapat diukur dalam program ini. Pengoptimalan pengolahan ketela menjadi makanan ringan dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dengan capaian evaluasi yang terukur.
