Abstract

This study discusses the construction of formal law, the implementation of law enforcement, and the ideal law enforcement model for recidivist children of theft based on Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Child Criminal Justice System. The formal legal construction affirms child protection through diversion, restorative justice, and coaching mechanisms in Special Children's Development Institutions. Implementation in court shows a balance between repressive and rehabilitative aspects, with judges considering community research and children's right to legal assistance. The ideal law enforcement model emphasizes the integration of child protection, educational penal goals, and the involvement of families and communities in the coaching process. The overall analysis confirms that the child recidivist of theft should be treated as an individual who still has a chance to be corrected, not simply as a perpetrator to be punished.

Abstract

Digital transformation has created significant opportunities for the development of Indonesia’s digital creative economy, which not only contributes to economic growth but also has strategic potential in strengthening national defense economics. This study aims to formulate development strategies for integrating the digital creative economy into the national defense economic framework to enhance competitiveness and national resilience. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using literature studies derived from government documents, international organization reports, and relevant academic publications. The findings indicate that synergy between digital creative actors and the defense sector can generate dual-use innovations that support defense technology development, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen the national innovation ecosystem. Theoretically, this study contributes to the development of the defense economy perspective by highlighting the role of the digital creative economy as a strategic component in supporting national resilience. Practically, the study recommends the establishment of dual-use innovation hubs, strengthening applied research, and providing fiscal incentives for digital creative actors to enhance collaboration with the defense sector and support sustainable national defense capabilities.

Abstract

Indonesia's economic resilience is crucial in achieving the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045, which envisions a developed nation with a strong and competitive economy. This study analyzes the Indonesia-China diplomacy strategy in strengthening Indonesia's national economic resilience towards the Golden Indonesia 2045. Strengthening this resilience requires effective diplomacy, particularly with China, Indonesia's largest trading partner and a significant source of foreign investment. To achieve the study’s aims, this study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. This study finds that the Indonesia-China strategic partnership has flourished over the past decade, with bilateral trade reaching US$78.37 billion in 2021. This partnership has extended beyond trade, encompassing infrastructure, technology, and investment cooperation, contributing positively to Indonesia's economic indicators. However, this growing dependence also presents challenges, such as trade imbalances, necessitating a balanced and strategic approach to diplomacy. By leveraging China's Belt and Road Initiative and other multilateral frameworks, Indonesia aims to enhance its industrial capacity, diversify exports, and attract high-value investments. This holistic approach strengthens economic resilience and positions Indonesia as a critical player in the regional and global economy, aligning with the broader goals of national development and regional stability.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Buddhist religious extension workers in fostering Buddhist communities in Batu through a Javanese cultural approach. It aims to analyze how the integration of local cultural values strengthens religious guidance amid challenges such as declining community participation and limited supporting resources. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation at selected temples. The data were analyzed using triangulation techniques and SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges in the community development process. The findings reveal that integrating Javanese cultural values with Buddhist teachings (Dhamma) strengthens social cohesion, enhances emotional connectedness between extension workers and community members, and reinforces a more adaptive cultural–religious identity. These findings suggest that a culture-based approach not only improves the effectiveness of religious extension services but also strengthens the spiritual resilience and sustainability of Buddhist communities amid ongoing social change.
