Abstract

This research explores the concept of educational goals in Islam as derived from the interpretation of five key verses of the Qur’an. Education in the Qur’anic perspective aims to develop the holistic potential of human beings physical, spiritual, and intellectual so they can fulfill their role as servants of Allah (ʿabd) and His vicegerents (khalifah) on earth. The study employs a qualitative research design with a normative-juridical approach, emphasizing library research. Data sources include classical and contemporary tafsir works, scholarly articles, and educational literature. Data were collected through document analysis and processed using descriptive analysis techniques, which involve data reduction, categorization, and synthesis. The findings reveal that the Qur’an views education as a medium for cultivating intellectual capacity (ʿaql), elevating moral and social status through knowledge, and achieving ultimate well-being in both the worldly and spiritual realms. The five examined verses highlight essential objectives: servitude to Allah, fulfilling the responsibility as khalifah, nurturing critical thinking, advancing knowledge, and seeking divine pleasure. This study concludes that Islamic education must integrate these Qur’anic values to form holistic, ethical, and balanced individuals capable of contributing positively to society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning process using the demonstration method in improving the poetry reading ability of grade IV students in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collection method uses the literature method, namely literature research. The data collection technique is carried out, by listing all the variables that need to be researched, namely: learning implementation, demonstration methods, poetry reading skills material. Select the necessary descriptive materials from available sources such as books, articles or biographies that are relevant to the problem being studied. From this study, it can be concluded that the application of the demonstration method in learning Indonesian can improve students' poetry reading skills, with an implementation process consisting of three stages: 1) demonstration method learning strategy, 2) implementation of learning with demonstration method, 3) evaluation of the learning process and learning outcomes using the demonstration method.

Abstract

This study specifically addresses the problem of suboptimal academic performance in the field of fikih among students. This can be discerned by the absence of motivation and enthusiasm among kids, as well as their passive participation in the learning process. This problem required resolution by the implementation of pertinent research. The aim of this study is to evaluate the learning motivation and academic achievements of fifth-grade students in the fikih subject at MIT Raudlatul Ulum Depok. The study employs a correlative quantitative methodology by utilising a random sample procedure. Based on the research and survey results, the learning motivation of fifth-grade students in the subject of fikih at MIT Raudlatul Ulum Depok is deemed adequate. The motivation to study evaluation score instrument is 87.46, which falls into the good range area. The student learning outcomes in this research exclusively target the cognitive domain, with a specific emphasis on acquiring information and comprehension that are customised to the student's developmental stage. Statistical data analysis can be employed to assess the influence of student learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Class V students in the field of jurisprudence. Based on the results of product moment correlation calculations. The correlation coefficient between learning motivation and student learning results in fikih topics is 0.738, indicating a robust correlation. The score exceeds 0.05, indicating a substantial link between learning desire and student learning outcomes in the field of fikih.

Abstract

This research is driven by the bad impact of the digital world on the learning process, which spontaneously affects students' attitudes and behaviors. One of these impacts is students' social attitudes. The study examines the crucial role of teachers in the Aqidah Akhlak subject in instilling moral values in sixth-grade students at MI Darul Falah 2 Cilodong, Depok. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation of activities, which were then assessed descriptively. The outcomes of the teaching methods utilized by the teachers can be drawn in the changes in students' attitudes and the way teachers teach Aqidah Akhlak. These changes are evident from students' discipline towards school rules, the habituation practices applied in the classroom, and the exemplary actions of the teachers as models for students to follow. The study concludes that teachers' understanding of their crucial role through workshops, training, and seminars on moral education strategies is effective in promoting the utilize of innovative teaching methods such as interactive lectures, role-playing, and extracurricular activities to instill positive character traits. Collaboration between schools, parents, and the community is also deemed essential for effectively monitoring and supporting students' moral development. Continuous evaluation of moral education efforts involving students, parents, and school authorities is crucial for enhancing the quality of moral education in the future. Overall, this research aims to foster a generation with strong character and noble behavior through the dedicated efforts of teachers in the Aqidah Akhlak subject.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) regulations on corporate legal liability within the evolving framework of modern business law. As global business practices shift toward sustainability and accountability, ESG has transformed from a voluntary guideline into a mandatory regulatory standard that shapes corporate behavior. This research employs a qualitative and normative approach by analyzing relevant legal frameworks, scholarly literature, and case studies to explore how ESG regulations affect corporate responsibility. The findings indicate that ESG regulations significantly expand the scope of corporate legal liability beyond traditional financial obligations to include environmental protection, social responsibility, and governance transparency. Companies are increasingly held accountable through civil, criminal, and administrative sanctions for non-compliance with ESG-related standards. The study also highlights that effective ESG implementation can serve as a preventive mechanism, reducing legal risks and enhancing corporate governance. However, challenges remain, particularly in terms of regulatory harmonization, enforcement mechanisms, and varying levels of compliance across jurisdictions. This research concludes that ESG regulations play a critical role in strengthening corporate accountability and promoting sustainable business practices. Integrating ESG into corporate legal frameworks is essential for balancing economic objectives with social and environmental responsibilities in the long term.

Abstract

Pengembangan pariwisata alam di Indonesia sering kali memicu ketegangan antara ambisi pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional dan perlindungan hak-hak tradisional masyarakat adat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perlindungan hukum terhadap hak masyarakat adat dalam kerangka pariwisata berbasis masyarakat (Community Based Tourism/CBT) serta mengidentifikasi hambatan yuridis yang menghalangi implementasinya secara efektif. Menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan kajian literatur, studi ini menelaah berbagai regulasi, jurnal ilmiah, dan dokumen hukum dalam kurun waktu sepuluh tahun terakhir untuk memetakan dinamika hukum yang terjadi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan adanya diskoneksi regulasi yang signifikan antara pengakuan konstitusional terhadap masyarakat adat dengan aturan teknis dalam undang-undang sektoral, khususnya di bidang pariwisata dan kehutanan. Marginalisasi hak ulayat terus terjadi akibat dominasi sistem perizinan yang bersifat top-down serta mekanisme pengakuan subjek hukum adat yang bersifat administratif-bersyarat. Kondisi ini menciptakan kerentanan bagi masyarakat lokal untuk tereksklusi dari pengelolaan sumber daya mereka sendiri. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konsep CBT tidak akan mencapai efektivitasnya tanpa adanya instrumen hukum yang mewajibkan prinsip Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) dalam setiap proses perizinan wisata alam. Formulasi perlindungan hukum yang ideal memerlukan sinkronisasi kebijakan melalui Peraturan Daerah yang secara tegas mengakui kedaulatan masyarakat adat atas ruang kelolanya. Penguatan kedudukan hukum masyarakat adat bukan sekadar upaya memenuhi keadilan distributif, melainkan merupakan kunci krusial bagi keberlanjutan ekosistem pariwisata alam di Indonesia di masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kepercayaan diri siswa dalam pembelajaran senam irama pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK). Siswa masih malu tampil di depan kelas, ragu melakukan gerakan, kurang aktif berpartisipasi, dan takut melakukan kesalahan. Meskipun metode role playing telah banyak diteliti dalam pembelajaran interaksi kelas dan komunikasi, masih terbatas penelitian tindakan kelas yang mengkaji penerapannya dalam pembelajaran senam irama untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa pada konteks PJOK. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa melalui metode role playing. Penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kurt Lewin yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek 29 siswa kelas VII SMPN 13 Banjarbaru. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Indikator kepercayaan diri yang diamati meliputi keberanian tampil, aktif berpartisipasi, menunjukkan sikap percaya diri, tidak takut melakukan kesalahan, dan kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase siswa kategori “Baik” dan “Sangat Baik” meningkat dari 27,59% pada pra-siklus menjadi 65,52% pada siklus I dan 82,76% pada siklus II. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode role playing berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa dalam pembelajaran senam irama pada konteks kelas yang diteliti. Implementation of the Role-Playing Method to Improve Students’ Self-Confidence in Rhythmic Gymnastics Learning for Seventh-Grade Students at SMPN 13 Banjarbaru Abstract This study was motivated by the low level of students’ self-confidence in rhythmic gymnastics learning in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK). Students were still reluctant to perform in front of the class, hesitant in performing movements, less active in participating, and afraid of making mistakes during the learning process. Although the role-playing method has been widely studied in classroom interaction and communication learning, there is still limited classroom action research examining its application in rhythmic gymnastics learning to improve students’ self-confidence in the context of physical education. This study aimed to examine the improvement of students’ self-confidence through the implementation of the role-playing method. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kurt Lewin model conducted in two cycles involving 29 seventh-grade students of SMPN 13 Banjarbaru. Data were collected through observation and documentation techniques. The indicators of self-confidence observed included the courage to perform in front of others, active participation in learning activities, showing self-confidence, not being afraid of making mistakes, and the ability to express opinions. The data were analyzed using descriptive percentage analysis. The results showed that the percentage of students categorized as “Good” and “Very Good” increased from 27.59% in the pre-cycle to 65.52% in Cycle I and 82.76% in Cycle II. The findings indicate that the role-playing method contributed to improving students’ self-confidence in rhythmic gymnastics learning within the context of the class studied.

Abstract

This study aims to identify learning obstacles, design didactic methods, implement didactic activities, and find changes after the retrospective stage. The method used is Didactical Design Research (DDR). The subjects of this study are second-grade elementary school students. Data were collected through observation during the learning process. The results showed that some students had difficulty understanding the concept of multiplication as repeated addition and demonstrated limitations in visualizing number patterns. To overcome these obstacles, concrete media in the form of multiplication boards and ice cream sticks were used. Ice cream sticks were used as manipulative tools to show groups of numbers, while multiplication boards helped students find multiplication patterns visually and structurally. The use of these two media made it easier for students to understand the basic concept of multiplication, especially for students with low numerical abilities. Significant changes occurred in concept exploration and number pattern comprehension activities. Students became more active and engaged in learning because the learning was concrete and contextual. These results indicate that the integration of multiplication boards and popsicle sticks in didactic design can improve the effectiveness of multiplication learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum meratanya kompetensi mengajar guru Penjasorkes, khususnya pada aspek pedagogik, profesional, kepribadian, dan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan kepala sekolah terhadap kompetensi mengajar guru Penjasorkes pada satuan pendidikan SD/MI, SMP/MTs, dan SMA/SMK/MA di Kecamatan Kota Tambolaka. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Responden penelitian adalah 34 kepala sekolah yang dipilih menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket tertutup 25 butir dengan skala Likert. Data dianalisis menggunakan frekuensi, persentase, mean, dan standar deviasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan 50% kepala sekolah memberikan pandangan positif dan 50% memberikan pandangan kurang positif. Kompetensi kepribadian memperoleh penilaian positif tertinggi sebesar 79,41%, sedangkan kompetensi profesional terendah sebesar 50,00%. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru Penjasorkes perlu diperkuat. Principals’ Views on the Teaching Competence of Physical Education Teachers in Kota Tambolaka District Abstract This study was motivated by the uneven teaching competence of Physical Education teachers, particularly in pedagogical, professional, personality, and social aspects. This study aimed to determine principals’ views on the teaching competence of Physical Education teachers at elementary, junior secondary, and senior secondary schools in Kota Tambolaka District. This research used a descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach. The respondents were 34 principals selected using total sampling. The research instrument was a 25-item closed questionnaire using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results showed that, overall, 50% of principals expressed positive views, while 50% expressed less positive views. Personality competence received the highest positive rating at 79.41%, while professional competence received the lowest rating at 50.00%. The study concludes that Physical Education teachers’ professional competence needs to be strengthened.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of gamification method assisted by Kahoot on the reading comprehension skills of third-grade elementary school students in Bahasa Indonesia subject. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Subjects consisted of 42 students from SDN 100 Muara Bungo, divided into an experimental class (Class III C, n=21) and a control class (Class III A, n=21). The experimental class received gamification-based learning using Kahoot, while the control class used conventional methods. Data were collected through reading comprehension tests covering three indicators: finding explicit and implicit information, identifying story elements (characters, setting, events), and drawing conclusions. Validity was tested using Pearson Product Moment correlation, and reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha (α = 0.746). Data analysis included normality test (Shapiro-Wilk), homogeneity test (Levene’s Test), Independent Sample t-test, and N-Gain test. Results showed that the experimental class achieved a posttest mean of 81.10, significantly higher than the control class mean of 71.67. The Independent Sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference between groups. The N-Gain score for the experimental class was 0.46 (medium category), compared to 0.18 (low category) for the control class. The study concludes that the gamification method assisted by Kahoot has a significant positive effect on the reading comprehension skills of third-grade elementary students.
