Abstract

This study was conducted to address the low reading comprehension ability of fifth-grade students in understanding explanatory texts. The research aimed to examine the effect of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model assisted by Mind Mapping media on students’ reading comprehension skills. A quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design employing one-group pretest–posttest was used. The participants consisted of 19 fifth-grade students of SDN 12/I Terusan in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected using an objective multiple-choice test that had been validated and tested for reliability prior to implementation. The data analysis involved descriptive statistics, normality testing using the Shapiro–Wilk test, and hypothesis testing through a paired sample t-test. The results showed that the pretest and posttest data were normally distributed. The average pretest score was 42.10, indicating low reading comprehension ability, while the average posttest score increased to 76.14 after the implementation of the CIRC model assisted by Mind Mapping. The paired sample t-test results indicated a significance value of 0.000, which was lower than the significance level of 0.05, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis. These findings demonstrate that the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model assisted by Mind Mapping media has a significant positive effect on improving students’ reading comprehension of explanatory texts. The learning model also encouraged active participation and collaborative learning, contributing to a more meaningful reading comprehension process.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter religius merupakan fondasi utama dalam membentuk pribadi yang beretika dan bermartabat, terlebih dalam konteks lembaga pendidikan Islam nonformal seperti Madrasah Diniyah Ulya. Namun, masih ditemukan kesenjangan antara program pembiasaan religius yang telah berjalan dengan ketidakkonsistenan perilaku santri dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam membentuk karakter religius peserta didik serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat proses tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan subjek penelitian guru, kepala madrasah, dan santri di Madrasah Diniyah Ulya Darurattaqwa Al-Hikmah Pangkalan Lada. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, yang dianalisis dengan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldaña. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru berperan sebagai teladan moral, pembina spiritual, dan pengintegrasi nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran. Keteladanan guru dalam ibadah, adab, dan toleransi terbukti efektif dalam membentuk karakter religius santri. Faktor pendukung meliputi tradisi madrasah seperti salat berjamaah dan pembiasaan adab, sedangkan hambatan muncul dari lingkungan luar madrasah dan keterbatasan waktu. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi konseptual berupa tipologi peran guru dalam pembentukan karakter religius, serta implikasi praktis bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan karakter di madrasah.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of religious guidance through weekly recitations at the Nur Qolbu Sampit Mosque. The background of this study stems from the gap between the routine religious activities at the mosque and the limited depth of understanding and practice of Islamic teachings among the congregation. This study aims to analyze (1) the implementation of religious guidance through weekly recitations, and (2) the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was obtained through observation, interviews with ustadz, mosque administrators, and congregations, as well as documentation studies. The results show that regular recitations are conducted through lectures based on classical texts, discussions, and interactive question and answer sessions. These  activities  have  been  proven  to increase  the  congregation's understanding of aqidah, fiqh, and akhlak, as well as have a positive impact on their worship, social behavior, and spiritual condition. The main supporting factors include adequate facilities, the competence of the ustadz, and the strong commitment of the mosque administrators. Conversely, inhibiting factors are related to fluctuating congregational attendance and differences in prior knowledge  levels. This study  emphasizes  the importance  of mosques  as centers for continuous religious education and provides recommendations for improving the effectiveness of mosque-based learning programs.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran teaching game dalam meningkatkan pengambilan keputusan dan kerja sama bola basket siswa di MTs Ath Thahiriyah Pucungbedug. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi langsung terhadap subjek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian telah divalidasi menggunakan CVR (0,99). Populasi dalam penelitian mecakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII berjumlah 45 siswa. Sedangkan sampel mencakup siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh bahwa penerapan model teaching game mampu dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama dan pengambilan keputusan dalam bola basket siswa kelas VIII di MTs Ath Thahiriyah Pucungbedug terlebih pada aspek kerja sama. Ditunjukkan dengan hasil analisis uji wilcoxon yang menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan tehadap hasil pretest dan posttest dengan Z skor < 0,001 pada aspek pengambilan keputusan. Dan Z skor < 0,001 pada aspek kerja sama.

Abstract

This research explores the concept of educational goals in Islam as derived from the interpretation of five key verses of the Qur’an. Education in the Qur’anic perspective aims to develop the holistic potential of human beings physical, spiritual, and intellectual so they can fulfill their role as servants of Allah (ʿabd) and His vicegerents (khalifah) on earth. The study employs a qualitative research design with a normative-juridical approach, emphasizing library research. Data sources include classical and contemporary tafsir works, scholarly articles, and educational literature. Data were collected through document analysis and processed using descriptive analysis techniques, which involve data reduction, categorization, and synthesis. The findings reveal that the Qur’an views education as a medium for cultivating intellectual capacity (ʿaql), elevating moral and social status through knowledge, and achieving ultimate well-being in both the worldly and spiritual realms. The five examined verses highlight essential objectives: servitude to Allah, fulfilling the responsibility as khalifah, nurturing critical thinking, advancing knowledge, and seeking divine pleasure. This study concludes that Islamic education must integrate these Qur’anic values to form holistic, ethical, and balanced individuals capable of contributing positively to society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the learning process using the demonstration method in improving the poetry reading ability of grade IV students in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collection method uses the literature method, namely literature research. The data collection technique is carried out, by listing all the variables that need to be researched, namely: learning implementation, demonstration methods, poetry reading skills material. Select the necessary descriptive materials from available sources such as books, articles or biographies that are relevant to the problem being studied. From this study, it can be concluded that the application of the demonstration method in learning Indonesian can improve students' poetry reading skills, with an implementation process consisting of three stages: 1) demonstration method learning strategy, 2) implementation of learning with demonstration method, 3) evaluation of the learning process and learning outcomes using the demonstration method.

Abstract

This study specifically addresses the problem of suboptimal academic performance in the field of fikih among students. This can be discerned by the absence of motivation and enthusiasm among kids, as well as their passive participation in the learning process. This problem required resolution by the implementation of pertinent research. The aim of this study is to evaluate the learning motivation and academic achievements of fifth-grade students in the fikih subject at MIT Raudlatul Ulum Depok. The study employs a correlative quantitative methodology by utilising a random sample procedure. Based on the research and survey results, the learning motivation of fifth-grade students in the subject of fikih at MIT Raudlatul Ulum Depok is deemed adequate. The motivation to study evaluation score instrument is 87.46, which falls into the good range area. The student learning outcomes in this research exclusively target the cognitive domain, with a specific emphasis on acquiring information and comprehension that are customised to the student's developmental stage. Statistical data analysis can be employed to assess the influence of student learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Class V students in the field of jurisprudence. Based on the results of product moment correlation calculations. The correlation coefficient between learning motivation and student learning results in fikih topics is 0.738, indicating a robust correlation. The score exceeds 0.05, indicating a substantial link between learning desire and student learning outcomes in the field of fikih.

Abstract

This research is driven by the bad impact of the digital world on the learning process, which spontaneously affects students' attitudes and behaviors. One of these impacts is students' social attitudes. The study examines the crucial role of teachers in the Aqidah Akhlak subject in instilling moral values in sixth-grade students at MI Darul Falah 2 Cilodong, Depok. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation of activities, which were then assessed descriptively. The outcomes of the teaching methods utilized by the teachers can be drawn in the changes in students' attitudes and the way teachers teach Aqidah Akhlak. These changes are evident from students' discipline towards school rules, the habituation practices applied in the classroom, and the exemplary actions of the teachers as models for students to follow. The study concludes that teachers' understanding of their crucial role through workshops, training, and seminars on moral education strategies is effective in promoting the utilize of innovative teaching methods such as interactive lectures, role-playing, and extracurricular activities to instill positive character traits. Collaboration between schools, parents, and the community is also deemed essential for effectively monitoring and supporting students' moral development. Continuous evaluation of moral education efforts involving students, parents, and school authorities is crucial for enhancing the quality of moral education in the future. Overall, this research aims to foster a generation with strong character and noble behavior through the dedicated efforts of teachers in the Aqidah Akhlak subject.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) idealnya berorientasi pada keaktifan siswa melalui pendekatan student centered learning, namun di SD Al Furqan Islamic School ditemukan fenomena sekitar 30% siswa masih pasif akibat dominasi metode ceramah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya guru PAI dalam mengoptimalkan metode diskusi guna meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Pemilihan informan dilakukan secara purposive sampling dan analisis data menggunakan model interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi keaktifan belajar siswa sebelum diterapkannya metode diskusi masih tergolong rendah yang ditandai dengan sikap pasif dan kurangnya keberanian berpendapat , upaya guru PAI dalam meningkatkan keaktifan dilakukan dengan membagi siswa ke dalam kelompok kecil, memberikan kesempatan berpendapat, serta membimbing jalannya diskusi agar tetap terarah , faktor pendukung dalam penerapan metode ini meliputi kesiapan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, antusiasme siswa, serta dukungan fasilitas dan lingkungan kelas yang kondusif , faktor penghambat yang ditemukan adalah adanya perbedaan kemampuan siswa, kurangnya rasa percaya diri sebagian siswa, serta keterbatasan waktu dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Secara menyeluruh, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode diskusi oleh guru PAI memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan partisipasi serta keberanian siswa sehingga perlu didukung dengan strategi pengelolaan kelas yang optimal agar tujuan pembelajaran tercapai secara maksimal.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) regulations on corporate legal liability within the evolving framework of modern business law. As global business practices shift toward sustainability and accountability, ESG has transformed from a voluntary guideline into a mandatory regulatory standard that shapes corporate behavior. This research employs a qualitative and normative approach by analyzing relevant legal frameworks, scholarly literature, and case studies to explore how ESG regulations affect corporate responsibility. The findings indicate that ESG regulations significantly expand the scope of corporate legal liability beyond traditional financial obligations to include environmental protection, social responsibility, and governance transparency. Companies are increasingly held accountable through civil, criminal, and administrative sanctions for non-compliance with ESG-related standards. The study also highlights that effective ESG implementation can serve as a preventive mechanism, reducing legal risks and enhancing corporate governance. However, challenges remain, particularly in terms of regulatory harmonization, enforcement mechanisms, and varying levels of compliance across jurisdictions. This research concludes that ESG regulations play a critical role in strengthening corporate accountability and promoting sustainable business practices. Integrating ESG into corporate legal frameworks is essential for balancing economic objectives with social and environmental responsibilities in the long term.
