Abstract

Teachers are the key element in educational institutions. Teachers have a responsibility to maximize the learning process to achieve the expected learning goals. The purpose of this study is to determine how PAI (Islamic Education) teachers' learning strategies at Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Patobong, under the auspices of Pondok Pesantren Manbaul Ulum DDI Patobong. The research approach used in this study is qualitative (field research). Data collection techniques used in this study include document analysis, observation, and interviews. In this research, data validity testing emphasizes on credibility test. The results show that lesson planning applied by Islamic Education teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Patobong merely involves preparing an implementation plan based on the teacher's guidebook. Some Islamic Education teachers at Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Patobong have been able to organize their teaching by structuring teaching materials and summarizing the content of lessons.

Abstract

This study aims to describe 1) the Implementation of Merdeka Belajar Curriculum (KMB) in PAI Subjects in Class VII of SMPN Satu Atap-2 Tewang Sangalang Garing and 2) the Supporting and inhibiting Factors for the Implementation of KMB in PAI Learning in Class VII of SMPN Satu Atap-2 Tewang Sangalang Garing. The research method used a descriptive qualitatif approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) Implementation of KMB in PAI Class VII SMPN Satu Atap-2 Tewang Sangalang Garing is carried out with the stages of planning, implementation and evaluation.. The planning stage includes the preparation of instruments related to the analysis of learning outcomes, the formulation of learning objectives, the flow of learning objectives, diagnostic assessments, and teaching modules. PAI teacher also planned a project to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile by collaborating with other teachers to make adjustments to the project module provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture based on the needs of students, with the theme "Pelajar Berakhlak Mulia". At the implementation stage, the results of the planning instrument are applied in the beginning, core, and final activities of the PAI learning process. In the evaluation stage, the PAI teacher conducted a formative assessment of the effectiveness of KMB implementation in PAI learning; 2) Supporting Factors for the Implementation of KMB in Grade VII PAI Subjects are the motivation and guidance from the Principal who facilitates the teacher to participate in and hold training related to the Implementation of KMB. In addition, learning media such as Merdeka Curriculum textbooks, LCD projectors, Chromebooks, laptops and computers, and internet networks are provided. On the other hand, the inhibiting factors for the implementation of KMB in Grade VII PAI Subjects are that the teacher has not maximized the use of ICT and internet-based learning media

Abstract

This research aims to examine the philosophical meanings of symbols in the Sundanese traditional wedding ceremony in Panjalu District and to analyze their relevance to the establishment of a sakinah family. Sundanese wedding traditions are rich with symbolic expressions that are not merely cultural rituals but also carry moral, spiritual, and social messages. Symbols such as siraman (holy bathing), ngabageakeun (welcoming ceremony), saweran (distribution of coins and rice), sungkeman (kneeling gesture of respect), and ngaleupas japati (release of doves) are understood as a medium for conveying values of family life, such as purity, togetherness, respect, and parental blessings. This study employs a qualitative method with a sociological-normative approach, through interviews, observation, and literature review. The findings reveal that these symbols align with Islamic values, particularly in building a sakinah family based on love (mawaddah), mercy (rahmah), and tranquility (sakinah). This study highlights the integration between local Sundanese traditions and Islamic teachings, creating a harmonious framework for cultural preservation and spiritual development. Abstract

Education is a conscious effort to prepare students through guidance, teaching and/or training activities, as well as equipping students with knowledge for their future roles. Meanwhile, technology is the application of scientific knowledge and other sciences to solve practical problems. Thus science and technology cannot be separated. Science and technology are developing very rapidly along with the pace of development of society. Science and technology have a reciprocal relationship with education and the curriculum. Education and curriculum must be able to respond to the rapid development of science and technology, because education is an effort to prepare students to face a better future. Curriculum development for all subjects including Fiqh must be based on developments in science and technology. The development of science and technology directly has implications for curriculum development which includes objectives, materials, methods and evaluation. Technology has an important role in developing the Fiqh curriculum because Fiqh material must always be up to date with the conditions and needs of students. Fiqh learning must always be contextual to students' real lives so that its existence is always present and becomes a student's need.

Abstract

Lichen hidup sebagai epifit pada pohon dengan cara menempel pada batang, dahan dan daun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan jenis dan tipe morfologi talus lichen pada berbagai jenis tumbuhan inang yang terdapat di Kecamatan Serengan, Kota Surakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksploratif dengan penjelajahan secara bertingkat. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di tiga stasiun yaitu Jl. Veteran, Jl. Yos Sudarso, dan Jl. Brigjen Slamet Riyadi. Masing-masing stasiun dibagi menjadi 10 sub-stasiun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di Kecamatan Serengan, Kota Surakarta didapatkan dua tipe morfologi talus lichen yaitu crustose dan foliose. Jumlah spesies lichen yang ditemukan ada 14 jenis, sedangkan jumlah spesies tumbuhan inang yang ditemukan sebanyak 13 jenis. Pohon inang yang paling banyak ditemukan lichen yaitu pohon dengan diameter 50 cm ke atas, dimana pada ukuran pohon ini ditemukan lichen pada 3 zona sampai 5 zona.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas tes berpikir tingkat tinggi pada mata kuliah mikrobiologi berbantuan komputer dengan Microsoft Office dan Visual Basic for Application. Instrumen tes yang dikembangkan bertujuan mengukur kemampuan uraian singkat mahasiswa pada mata kuliah biologi lingkungan. Instrumen tes yang dikembangkan berbasis Microsoft Office Powerpoint dan Visual Basic for Application. Penelitian ini merupakan lanjutan dari Research and Development dengan modifikasi subjek coba pada beberapa tahapan penelitian. Tahapan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini merupakan lanjutan dari tahapan penelitian sebelumnya yaitu uji efektivitas. Penelitian melibatkan 40 mahasiswa pendidikan biologi UMS yang mengambil matakuliah mikrobiologi dimana 20 siswa diuji menggunakan tes berpikir tingkat tinggi berbantuan microsoft dan visual basic serta 20 siswa diuji menggunakan tes responsi tertulis. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi pearson product moment. Semakin tinggi korelasi hasil kedua tes menunjukkan semakin efektif tes berpikir tingkat tinggi yang dikembangkan. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian adalah instrumen tes berpikir tingkat tinggi yang dikembangkan efektif untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa pada materi mikrobiologi. Hasil akhir penelitian ini adalah tes berpikir tingkat tinggi berbantuan komputer pada materi mikrobiologi yang valid eksternal atau efektif. Validitas eksternal sebesar 0,734 (kuat) yang merupakan korelasi hasil tes berpikir tingkat tinggi yang dikembangkan dengan tes responsi pada mata kuliah mikrobiologi. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian adalah instrumen tes yang dikembangkan efektif untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada materi mikrobiologi.

Abstract

Segmentasi citra alpukat merupakan langkah yang dilakukan untuk memisahkan bagian area objek (foreground) dengan latar belakang (background) pada citra alpukat, sehinggah objek alpukat yang tersegmentasi berupa motif dapat diproses untuk keperluan lain seperti pengenalan pola. Hasil dari segmentasi harus akurat, jika tidak akurat dalam memisahkan objek yang ada pada citra maka akan mempengaruhi hasil proses selanjutnya. Pada penilitian ini segmentasi dilakukan menggunakan metode median filter melakukan preprocessing yaitu reduksi noise menggunakan Median Filter. Setelah mendapatkan citra hasil segmentasi menggunakan Median Filter, selanjutnya melakukan pengukuran performa, hasil segmentasi dari setiap pengujian. Implementasikan dalam melakukan segmentasi citra alpukat yaitu melakukan segmentasi citra alpukat dengan menggunakan metode median filter melakukan segmentasi citra alpukat menggunakan metode Median Filter. Hasil segmentasi dari 16 citra alpukat dari 8 motif yang ada menunjukkan bahwa, segmentasi citra alpukat dengan menggunakan metode median Filter mendapatkan nilai terbaik yaitu 0.34 % dan nilai rata-rata ME sebesar 0.55 %.

Abstract

Background: Flooding is one of the most common natural disasters in Indonesia. Floods can have far-reaching impacts, not only damaging infrastructure and disrupting the economy, but also posing serious health risks to affected communities, such as diarrhea, leptospirosis, respiratory infections, and skin diseases associated with poor sanitation conditions and water pollution due to flooding. In the face of flood disasters, the preparedness and response of medical personnel is a very important element in reducing health impacts. Objective: To evaluate the preparedness and response of medical personnel in flood disaster management by identifying various factors that influence the effectiveness of emergency response. Methods: The method used was a literature review taken from several sources with a limit of 2019-2023. Results and discussion: As health workers and first responders and service providers in disaster emergency response are required to have higher disaster preparedness than other teams. The implementation of disaster preparedness is not only the responsibility of the government, but also involves community participation, especially health workers. The effectiveness of disaster response is highly dependent on good coordination between institutions, including the government, BNPB, non-governmental organizations, and local communities. Conclusion: The preparedness and response of medical personnel is a crucial component in flood disaster management. Medical personnel, especially nurses, have a central role as first responders in providing emergency care, reducing mortality, and preventing the spread of diseases that often emerge post-disaster.

Abstract

Background: Earthquakes are one of the natural disasters that often occur in various countries.In 2023, there were 10,789 earthquakes in Indonesia with 54,652 fatalities. Method: in theform of a literature review by collecting information taken from several journals in the formof primary data. The data obtained came from the PubMed, NCBI, Google Scholar, Mendeley,ResearchGate, and Scopus databases for the last 5 years based on keywords. Purpose: Thisarticle aims to improve community preparedness for earthquake disasters. Results: Educationalcounseling and simulations carried out to foster public understanding of disaster preparednessare the right steps to build public awareness of the importance of disaster preparedness inaccordance with established guidelines. Preparedness as stipulated in Law No. 24/2007concerning Disaster Management is defined as a series of activities carried out to anticipatedisasters through organizing with appropriate and efficient steps. Conclusion: Increasingcommunity capacity through appropriate health promotion will have an impact on the level oflocal community participation in understanding the importance of disaster preparedness,especially earthquakes in the area.Keywords: Disaster, Earthquake, Preparedness, Counseling

Abstract

The challenges of Arabic language learning in Madrasah Tsanawiah need to be studied continuously, to maximize the role of teachers in the learning process. This study examines the role of teachers in learning Arabic language subjects in class VII MTs Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya based on the perspective of Behavioristic theory. This research is descriptive qualitative. The object of this research is the role of the teacher in learning Arabic language subjects in grade VII at MTs Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya based on the perspective of behavioristic theory. While the subject of the research is the Arabic language teacher and informants principal, waka curriculum, peers, and students. The results of this study were obtained from observations and interviews conducted by researchers, namely the role of Arabic language teachers at MTs Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya in line with the behavioristic perspective, in addition to being a learning resource, mediator, facilitator, classroom manager, and stimulus, demonstrator, motivator and evaluator. The teacher's role as a learning resource with a summary of the material is arranged in a hierarchy of difficulty. As for the role of a facilitator, with student readiness before participating in learning. The role of a class manager and stimulus by understanding student characteristics and analyzing initial abilities. The role of the teacher as a demonstrator by giving brief instructions. The role of the teacher as a motivator by providing reinforcing learning. The role of the teacher as an evaluator by correcting mistakes during learning.
