Abstract

The objective of this research is to synthesis of Mg/Al hydrotalcite-like (Mg/Al HTlc) from brine water and its application as a methyl orange (MO) removal. The research initiated with the synthesis of Mg/Al HTlc from brine water, which is well known as the desalination process wastewater. Characterization of the Mg/Al HTlc synthesized was confirmed through X-ray Diffraction and FT-IR Spectroscopy. The determination of optimum acidity, adsorption rate, and energy and capacity adsorption were studied. The result showed that pH 4 was the optimum acidity for the adsorption of MO on Mg/Al HTlc. MO was adsorbed at pseudo-second order adsorption rate of 1.03 × 105 g mol-1 min-1 on the Mg/Al HTlc. The adsorption data fitted well into the linearly transformed Freundlich equation.

Abstract

Commitment is vital in keeping and maintaining integrity within the organization, especially in public organizations. In addition to maintaining integrity, commitment is much needed in organizational change. People with affective commitment who join the organization of their own volition will support the changes made if they feel they are good for the organization. This quantitative study used primary data collected with an online survey facility. The data collection used the non-probability sampling technique of convenience sampling. The sample involved 255 active Directorate General of Customs and Excise employees with work locations across various parts of Indonesia. The data obtained were processed with JASP v 0.16 application with simple regression techniques and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study’s results support the initial hypothesis that emotional intelligence positively affects employees’ affective commitment. In addition, the study’s results support the second hypothesis that public service motivation mediates the effect of emotional intelligence on affective commitment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengembangan tes diagnostik pada kurikulum merdeka pada mata pelajaran Matematika yang layak bagi siswa kelas VII Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Research and Depelovement. Prosedur pengembangan menggunakan lima tahap yaitu: tahap awal, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Kayen - Pati sebanyak 32 siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah kelayakan tes diagnostik materi bilangan bulat. Sedangkan Analisis data menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dan kuantitatif untuk menguji kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Hasil Penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan tes diagnostik sangat layak dan efektif  diterapkan pada kurikulum merdeka mata pelajaran matematika kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Kayen - Pati. Terbukti dari hasil validasi konten atau materi   rata- rata nilai 3,25 dalam kategori sangat layak, dari validasi ahli bahwa keterampilan proses diperoleh nilai rata-rata 3,3 dalam kategori sangat layak, kemudian validasi ahli produk  diperoleh nilai rata-rata 4,0 dalam kategori sangat layak.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) Explain clearly and in detail what are the visual characteristics of the Kutai Sultanate Takwo traditional clothes as a characteristic of the Sultanate's clothes; 2) Understand the critical meaning of Kutai Sultanate traditional clothes in the sociocultural context; 3) Knowing the signs (semiotics) in Kutai Sultanate traditional clothes with Pierce's semiotic study in the form of icons, indexes, and symbols. This study uses the Accidental Sampling technique or findings found by chance as a data source. In addition, observation (consisting of pre-observation, direct observation, and non-observation), as well as interviews and documentation, are some of the techniques used in this study. The object of this research is the traditional Clothing of the Kutai Sultanate, namely Takwo. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed below: 1) the visual character of Kutai Sultanate traditional clothing has its characteristics from other regional traditional Clothing; 2) the meaning of Kutai Sultanate traditional clothing which illustrates the openness of the Kutai tribe in accepting foreign cultural developments; 3) public awareness in using Kutai Sultanate traditional clothing is getting higher through signs that exist in the accessories component of Takwo cloth

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pembuatan kain batik eco-print menggunakan pewarna dan motifnya berasal dari berbagai bentuk daun, batang, dan akar dari tanaman alami. Motif batik dengan berbagai warna menarik dan terkesan berbeda karena polanya yang unik dan nilai jualnya yang tinggi. Sebagai mitra adalah Gapoktan Mekar Makmur di kelurahan Krapyak Semarang. Tujuan: untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mengetahui cara managemen usaha, mengetahui cara pemasaran hasil produksi serta dapat meningkatkan pendapatan. Metode: Desain pengabdian kepada masyarakat menggunakan metode ceramah tentang tahapan dalam pembuatan batik eco-print, managemen usaha dan praktek pembuatan batik eco-print. Tes dilakukan sebelum dan setelah kegiatan, sehingga diperoleh peningkatan pengetahuan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini mendukung tujuan indikator kinerja utama yaitu dosen untuk mengajar di luar kampus dan menerapkan temuan penelitiannya di masyarakat. Mahasiwa mendapatkan pengalaman belajar di masyarakat dan dapat menerapkan pengetahuan mereka dari kampus ke masyarakat. Hasil: Kegiatan pembuatan eco-print pada tanggal 1 Oktober 2023 di Balai RW6 dengan jumlah peserta 19 orang, meliputi anggota Gapoktan dan PIKK Maratushsholihah. Nilai rata-rata responden sebelum pelatihan adalah 63,16 dan setelah pelatihan 94,21. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tentang eco-print dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan serta dapat meningkatkan pendapatan anggota Gapoktan dan PIKK Maratushsholihah. Kegiatan ini direkomendasikan dilanjutkan untuk keberlangsungan program PKM. Kata kunci: gapoktan, pelatihan eco-print, PIKK Maratushsholihah _____________________________________________________________________________________ Abstract Background: Making eco-print batik cloth uses dyes and motifs derived from various forms of leaves, stems, and roots from natural plants. Batik motifs with various colors are attractive and seem different because of their unique patterns and high selling value. As a partner is Gapoktan Mekar Makmur in the Krapyak sub-district, Semarang. Objective:  To increase knowledge and know how to manage a business, know how to market production, and increase income. Method: The community service design uses a lecture method about the stages of making eco-print batik, business management, and the practice of making eco-print batik. Tests are carried out before and after the activity so that increased knowledge is obtained. This community service supports the goal of the main performance indicator, namely lecturers to teach outside campus and apply their research findings in the community. Students gain learning experience in the community and can apply their knowledge from campus to the community. Result: Eco-print-making activity on October 1 2023 at Balai RW6 with 19 participants including members of Gapoktan and PIKK Maratushsholihah. The average score of respondents before the training was 63.16 and after the training 94.21. Conclusion: Community service activities regarding eco-print can increase knowledge and skills and can increase income. It is recommended that this activity be continued for the sustainability of the PKM program. Keywords: gapoktan, eco-print training, PIKK Maratushsholihah

Abstract

Counseling is a service provided by professional staff to individuals or groups for the development of effective daily living. However, the phenomenon that occurs in the field is that the implementation of Guidance and Counseling in schools is carried out with an unclear pattern, the lack of clarity on the pattern that must be implemented has an impact on the bad image of guidance and counseling, giving rise to misconceptions about the implementation of counseling guidance. The emergence of negative perceptions regarding the implementation of Guidance Counseling, various criticisms emerged as a form of disappointment with the counselor's performance, resulting in misunderstandings. Misconceptions are defined as understandings that conflict with the concepts put forward by experts. So, the aim of the research is to describe the problem of misconceptions about guidance and counseling. This type of research is a literature study. by searching, studying and analyzing theoretical references relevant to the problems found. The literature review method is a series of activities related to library data collection methods, reading and recording and managing research materials. Other problems that often cause misconceptions about counseling guidance in schools are: (1) counseling guidance teachers are often seen as school police, (2) counseling guidance is often thought of as a medium for giving advice, (3) counseling guidance is thought to only deal with cases of problematic students. , (4) guidance and counseling teachers must be more active in dealing with student problems, and (5) the profession as a guidance and counseling teacher can be done by anyone

Abstract

This study aims to improve civics learning outcomes through a problem-based learning model in class X students concentrating on Fashion Design (TB 1) at SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Purwantoro in the 2022/2023 academic year. The subjects in this study were students in class X concentration on dressmaking skills (TB 1) in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 33 students, all of whom were female as the subjects receiving the action, while the subject of the action was the PPKn teacher class X Fashion Design (TB 1) namely as a researcher who observes the learning process. Methods of data collection is done through test techniques, observation and documentation. This action research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of: planning, action, observation and reflection. The use of the problem-based learning learning model with the demonstration method can improve PPKn learning outcomes for Class X students of Class X Fashion Design (TB 1) at Muhammadiyah Vocational School 5 Purwantoro in the 2022/2023 academic year. This can be seen from the average value of PPkn learning outcomes of students who also experienced an increase, namely before the action of 70.43 in the first cycle of 75.48 and in the second cycle of 77.59. In addition, the percentage of student learning completeness, namely before the action was 27%, in cycle I was 64% and in cycle II was 85%.

Abstract

Therapeutic Agreement is an agreement between a doctor and a patient that grants the doctor the authority to provide healthcare services to the patient based on the doctor's expertise and skills. Adi Husada Undaan Wetan Hospital in Surabaya, which is designated by the provincial government of East Java as one of the referral hospitals for COVID-19 patients, offers two types of Therapeutic Agreements for COVID-19 treatment: Government Assurance and Non-Government Assurance, each with its own advantages and disadvantages in terms of implementation. The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the types of therapeutic agreements and their implementation in a specific hospital, as well as the legal sanctions that can be imposed by the authorities in the event of a violation of these agreements. The research method used is juridical-empirical, which involves interviews with the Head of the Medical Records Department at Adi Husada Undaan Wetan Hospital in Surabaya, as well as collecting legal materials such as legislation, Decisions of the Indonesian Ministry of Health related to COVID-19, journals, and books related to the research problem. The results of this study show that there are patient demands related to double claims and transfers of COVID-19 treatment, both from Government Assurance to Private Non-Government Assurance and vice versa. This is considered detrimental to the hospital because the payment mechanism for Government Assurance COVID-19 Treatment is through reimbursement from the Indonesian Ministry of Health. However, to address this issue, Adi Husada Undaan Wetan Hospital provides solutions such as closing the billing file upon the patient's request or novation, and offers to refer patients to other hospitals.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to stimulate more activity and enhance student learning. In this study, the Discovery Learning methodology is applied. This study follows the method of Kemmis and McTaggart's classroom action research. Thirty students from SMK Negeri 1 Cangkringan's XII ATR 1 class served as the study's subjects. Test papers were used to gauge student learning outcomes, while observation sheets were used to estimate student activities. The percentage technique is used to look at the connection between activity and student learning outcomes. Learning success is measured using three variables: the growth of the learning activity, the grade point average, and the proportion of students who finish. The findings revealed a propensity for student activity to rise in cycles 1 and 2. The average class score grew from cycle one to cycle two by 71.5 points to 85 points. More students finished the cycle, from 60% in cycle 1 to 86.7% in cycle 2. Thus, the discovery learning paradigm can enhance class XII students' engagement and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The happiness of having a romantic relationship is the dream of every woman from a broken home. However, romantic relationships for women from broken homes do not always go well. Therefore, this research aims to describe the authentic happiness of female adolescents who are victims of broken homes in romantic relationships in Kartasura District, Sukoharjo Regency. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative method. The informants of this study were four young female informants from broken home families who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and documentation through research informant social media. The credibility of the data using the method triangulation technique. The data analysis uses the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) technique. The results of the study show that the authentic happiness of young women from broken home families who have romantic relationships is formed by their ability to rise from adversity in family conditions, positive meaning of life, desire to improve the future, and supportive social support from family, friends, and lovers. . External factors that affect the authentic happiness of young women from broken home families are religiosity and education. For young women from broken homes, having a romantic relationship can minimize psychological problems due to family dysfunction. On the other hand, romantic relationships among young women from broken home families encounter several obstacles that are prone to lead to toxic relationships.
