The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of digital health education on diabetic foot care among type II diabetic patients using the Health Belief Model (HBM). A total of 30 participants were recruited from local diabetes clinics to receive digital health education focused on diabetic foot care practices. To ensure the validity and reliability of the assessment tools, we employed multiple methods. Content validity was established through expert reviews, while construct validity was examined using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), which confirmed a good factor structure aligned with the HBM constructs. Reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha for internal consistency, which showed acceptable values ranging from 0.67 to 0.84, and test-retest reliability with Intraclass Correlation Coefficients (ICC) ranging from 0.74 to 0.78. The results indicate that the digital health education program significantly improved the participants' understanding and practices related to diabetic foot care. These findings underscore the potential of digital education interventions for chronic disease management, particularly for enhancing self-care behaviors in diabetic patients. Future studies should consider larger sample sizes to further validate these tools and results. Overall, this study provides evidence supporting the effectiveness of digital health education for diabetic foot care and validates the reliability and validity of the instruments used.

The digital era leaves problems of credibility and authenticity for those who memorize the Qur'an. The question of credibility could be seen by the decrease in the quality of reading, such as makharij and tajwid. In contrast, the question of authentication is evidenced by the low quality of students' memorization. This study aims to discuss the implications of the Sima’an Ahad Pahing activity on students’ memorization at PPTQ Al-Hasan Ponorogo. This study departs from cognitive, affective, and psychomotoric problems with the reinforcement of the psychological theory of behaviorism developed by John Watson. This study uses a qualitative method with a psychological approach. Data sources were obtained through interviews with 1 kiai, 4 ustadz, and 5 students. The analysis used in this study is Huberman & Saldana, which includes three steps, namely data compaction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that implicitly the Sima’an at PPTQ Al-Hasan Ponorogo provided a new method for maintaining the credibility and authenticity of the students' memorization.

BACKGROUND Adipose tissue is often overlooked in DNA testing due to misconceptions about its DNA content. However, its shock-absorbing qualities may be useful for high-pressure scenarios like bomb blasts. This study aimed to evaluate DNA quality and quantity in adipose tissue affected by blasts compared to that in unaffected tissue. METHODS 10 adipose tissue samples were taken from regions near and far from the blast, representing the blast-exposed and non-blast-exposed groups. The adipose tissue was stored at a low temperature for 5 days, after which an organic extraction method was applied. The purity of the DNA extract was assessed using a NanoDrop spectrophotometer, and its integrity was evaluated using 0.8% concentration gel electrophoresis at 60 V for 90 min. DNA typing was conducted using the GlobalFiler™ kit, and DNA quantity was determined with the Quantifiler™ Trio DNA Quantification kit. RESULTS Of 20 DNA extracts from adipose tissue, all samples demonstrated purity, integrity, and complete typing results. Adequate integrity was found in 90% of samples in both groups. A 50% incidence of allele shifting was observed at the D7S820 locus within the blast-exposed group. CONCLUSIONS DNA from blast-exposed adipose tissue exhibited no significant quality or quantity differences from non-blast-exposed tissue. This suggested adipose tissue’s potential as an alternative DNA source in a bomb explosion.

BACKGROUND Obtaining optimal functional outcomes in patients with chronic peripheral nerve injuries (PNIs) remains challenging due to the limited regeneration of the neuromuscular junction (NMJ). Adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (AD-MSCs) can differentiate into Schwann-like cells, secrete neurotrophic factors, and recruit native Schwann cells. This study aimed to analyze the effects of AD-MSCs on functional outcomes in a chronic PNI model. METHODS An in vivo study was performed using 20 male Sprague-Dawley rats with chronic PNI of the right sciatic nerve. Rats were divided into two groups: the AD-MSC group (n = 10), receiving human AD-MSC injections in the NMJ; and the control group (n = 10), receiving normal saline injections. Walking track analysis and electrophysiological assessments were performed 8 weeks after the nerve repair. Postmortem gastrocnemius muscle weights and immunohistochemical examinations were also performed. RESULTS The AD-MSCs showed significantly larger fiber diameters than the control group (45.54 [13.1] versus 35.46 [6.64]; p = 0.011). While clinical, electrophysiological, and gastrocnemius muscle weight data suggested a trend toward improved outcomes in the AD-MSCs group, the differences were not statistically significant. CONCLUSIONS AD-MSC implantation may enhance nerve regeneration, as demonstrated by a better outcome profile in the AD-MSCs group.
