Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to examine the mediating role of trust between religiosity and purchase intention, as well as to assess the influence of attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control (PBC), and relative advantage using an extended Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) framework. Methods: The PLS-SEM Multi Group Analysis approach was used as an evaluation model in the quantitative methodology using SmartPLS 4.0. Data were collected using a purposive sampling technique from Muslim respondents who are insurance customers who are millennial generation, which were then divided by gender. Results: The results show that RG, RA, SN, and PBC significantly influence ATT and TR, which in turn affect INT. All variables are key drivers of takaful adoption. Multi-Group Analysis (MGA) reveals no significant gender differences, suggesting similar behavioral patterns. Conclusion and suggestion: The strong influence of RG, RA, and TR on millennials’ ATT and INT suggests that takaful promotions should stress Islamic values, ethical benefits, and transparency. As ATT and TR directly drive INT, providers should build trust through education, digital openness, and Sharia oversight. Emphasizing social-spiritual values like ta’awun can enhance acceptance. MGA results show no gender-based differences, supporting inclusive, cost-efficient strategies to boost financial literacy and participation in Islamic finance.

Abstract

Protection of workers' rights becomes a crucial issue when corporate assets are confiscated by the state due to Corruption and Money Laundering (TPPU). This condition creates a jurisdictional conflict because the preferred creditor mechanism in labor law (Article 95 paragraph (4) of the Labor Law) cannot be applied to assets that are under criminal confiscation status. This difference in legal regimes creates a normative vacuum (rechtsvacuüm) which results in workers losing their legal position and economic rights, as reflected in the case of PT Duta Palma Group. This study uses a normative method to analyze legal accountability and formulate a mechanism to guarantee the fulfillment of workers' rights. The results of the study indicate that effective protection can only be realized through three main mechanisms: (1) A Joint Procedural Mechanism in the form of Mediation followed by Arbitration to produce a final and binding determination of the amount of workers' rights; (2) An Administrative Mechanism through the Attorney General's Office policy (Perja) which requires the recognition and provision of funds based on the results of arbitration decisions; and (3) Legislative mechanisms in the form of cross-sectoral legal reconstruction to clarify the priority of paying workers' rights over state-seized assets. This approach functions as an instrument of efficiency, the realization of restorative, corrective, and rehabilitative justice, and guarantees legal certainty and the protection of workers' human rights.

Abstract

This study aims to examine policy frameworks and collaborative strategies implemented across different countries to address teacher shortages through pre-service teacher education. A systematic literature review method was conducted following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, analyzing 32 open-access journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 and indexed in the Scopus and Google Scholar databases. The review identified three dominant policy approaches: (1) intensive pre-service programs that actively involve prospective teacher candidates; (2) transitional substitution strategies implemented through short-term policies, such as the utilization of retired teachers and regional incentive schemes; and (3) tripartite structural integration among universities, schools, and government institutions. Data were analyzed using bibliometric techniques to map research trends and thematic structures, followed by qualitative thematic synthesis to examine policy models and collaborative mechanisms. The findings indicate that cross-institutional collaboration plays a crucial role in establishing a sustainable and coherent teacher policy ecosystem. The study concludes that teacher shortages should be addressed through long-term, institutionally grounded policies that strengthen pre-service teacher education pathways. These results provide a conceptual foundation for enhancing Indonesia’s Pre-Service Teacher Internship Program (Program Magang Mahasiswa Calon Guru / PMMCG) as an evidence-based strategy for teacher recruitment, preparation, and professionalization.

Abstract

Tayak Waterfall is located in Uren Village, Halong District, Balangan Regency, with the pristine natural beauty of the Meratus Mountains. Its geographical location in the Meratus Mountains gives this waterfall the potential to become a sustainable nature-based tourist destination. In the context of tourism development, the role of Pokdarwis is very important as the main driver of the management of the Tayak Waterfall tourist destination. The community service program carried out by the service team aims to improve the management and promotion of Tayak Waterfall tourism through strengthening the Pokdarwis organizational structure, digital promotion, and administrative improvements. Activities carried out include social media management workshops, logo creation, social media account development, barcode and entrance ticket innovation, and registration of a Business Identification Number (NIB) as legal proof of tourism business. These workshops not only focused on improving technical skills but also on strengthening Pokdarwis members' awareness of the importance of sustainable tourism management. Pokdarwis members were given an understanding of digital communication strategies, creative and interesting content management, and the importance of destination branding in increasing tourist appeal. Despite facing obstacles such as low participation of Pokdarwis members and limited internet access, the program succeeded in improving the knowledge and skills of Pokdarwis members, strengthening the organizational structure, and enhancing the digital promotion of tourist destinations. The results are expected to increase tourist appeal, the sustainability of Tayak Waterfall tourism management, economic benefits for the local community, and the preservation of the surrounding environment. Through the implementation of workshops and ongoing mentoring activities, this program has strengthened Pokdarwis' capacity to design sustainable tourism development strategies that are adaptive to technological developments. The program emphasizes the importance of community collaboration and the use of digital technology as key drivers in sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

This paper reports on community service to shift the role of village officials (pamong desa) from justice brokers to dispute resolution agents. The village civil servants are often used as a reference by disputants when there are family conflicts at the upstream level. Still, sometimes village civil servants make disputants a commodity and living ATM. This service is carried out using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method by presenting a perspective of substantive justice (keadilan hakiki) for women and mubadalah, as well as providing expertise on dispute mediation so that he is able to handle and resolve family disputes earlier. The result is that the village civil servants are very enthusiastic about this empowerment program because they want to maintain the village's reputation and resolve disputes at the village level. Village officials are more gender-sensitive and aware of women's vulnerability as justice seekers. This service succeeded in realizing the importance of peaceful dispute resolution, the basic principles of mediation, and the ability of village officials. This is all beneficial when village officials face family conflicts in the community to act as mediators, not justice brokers. This service initiative further illustrates that the mobilization of community assets constitutes an effective strategy for achieving sustainable problem-solving.

Abstract

The phenomenon of teacher work stress is increasingly becoming a concern due to increasing professional demands and the dynamics of change in the education system. This study aims to identify predictors of teacher work stress through a systematic review of published literature from 2015–2025. The research method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA protocol with the stages of identification, selection, quality evaluation, and synthesis of findings. From all the studies reviewed, a number of literatures showed that workload and work environment are two main determinants that consistently contribute to increased teacher work stress. High workload, especially related to administrative tasks and dual responsibilities, has been shown to increase psychological distress, while an unsupportive work environment amplifies the impact of stress and reduces teacher well-being. The results of this study confirm that work stress arises in response to an imbalance between job demands and available resources, therefore, comprehensive management efforts are needed. In conclusion, workload and work environment play a significant role as triggers of teacher work stress, and these findings can form the basis for developing policies and intervention strategies to create a healthier and more sustainable educational work climate.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the direction and trends of research on service differentiation and school image as a competitiveness strategy for Islamic elementary schools in the modern education era. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA method, drawing data from Scopus and Google Scholar within the 2020–2025 range. A total of 98 articles were identified based on relevant keywords. After a systematic selection process and screening using inclusion–exclusion criteria, 29 articles were considered eligible for deeper analysis. The findings indicate that recent research trends focus on the synergy between service quality, school image, and digital transformation as the main pillars of competitiveness among Islamic educational institutions. Cluster analysis revealed four dominant themes: school image and reputation, service quality and competitive advantage, digital branding strategies, and the local context of Islamic schools in Indonesia. This study demonstrates that the success of Islamic elementary schools in the modern era is determined not only by religious values but also by institutional capability in managing services, building digital reputation, and developing public trust strategically.

Abstract

The phenomenon of children dropping out of school at the primary level in Banua Anyar Village reflects structural problems within the family and community, as the community does not understand the importance of education. This research aims to understand how parenting affects children's continuing education, especially in families that do not support basic education. children's education, especially in families that do not support basic education in Banua Anyar Village, Kabupaten Banua Anyar, Barito Kuala district. The main focus is on permissive parenting, which is characterized by low control, direction, and emotional support from parents. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Manual Data Analysis Procedure (MDAP). Manual Data Analysis Procedure (MDAP). The results showed, permissive parenting is not a form of parental negligence, but an adaptive response to difficult economic conditions, low levels of parental education, and narrow perceptions of education, as well as a narrow perception of the meaning of education. People parents prefer their children to help with household chores or work at school age rather than continuing their education because school is not school age than to continue their education, because school is not seen as an urgent need or means of social mobility. Children who grow up in this upbringing are deprived of the encouragement, direction, and long-term orientation that they should obtain from the family. The family's failure to socialize also causes educational institutions to lose their power.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation driven by Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 has placed significant pressure on educational institutions to modernize their operations. While Management Information Systems (MIS) are widely recognized as essential for centralizing and streamlining institutional processes, many schools continue to rely on fragmented, siloed systems that limit efficiency and strategic impact. Previous studies have largely focused either on individual perceptions of technology use or on student outcomes, leaving a gap in understanding how MIS integration holistically influences institutional performance. This study addresses that gap by examining the integration of digital technologies within MIS and its impact on both operational efficiency and competitive advantage in the education sector. Using a qualitative, instrumental case study design, data were gathered from five Jakarta-based schools through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Findings indicate that moving from isolated systems to an integrated, cloud-based MIS enhanced efficiency across time, cost, and workflows, while also ensuring higher data accuracy and enabling evidence-based decision-making. These gains directly translated into stronger institutional reputation, improved stakeholder services, and greater organizational agility. Success was strongly supported by visionary leadership and comprehensive training, whereas resistance to change, technical glitches, and infrastructural limitations posed challenges. The study contributes a holistic, empirically grounded model that links MIS integration to both operational and strategic outcomes. By bridging theoretical potential with practical evidence, it offers valuable insights for educational leaders formulating digital transformation strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of education at SMA Negeri 1 Serang City through the implementation of the zoning-based New Student Admission (PPDB) policy, focusing on both academic and non-academic aspects. The zoning-based PPDB policy is expected to enhance educational equity by providing fairer opportunities for students to access nearby schools. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and relevant document analysis. The research informants included teachers, students, and parents at SMA Negeri 1 Serang City. The findings indicate that the zoning-based PPDB policy has a positive impact on the quality of education in non-academic aspects, particularly in terms of student diversity and the improvement of social skills. However, from an academic perspective, several challenges were identified, such as significant disparities in students' competency levels, which affect the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Additionally, this policy presents new challenges for teachers in adapting instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Although improvements in non-academic aspects have been observed, overall educational quality still requires adequate policy support and resources to address academic disparities. The findings of this study contribute to the understanding of the impact of the zoning-based PPDB policy on education quality and provide recommendations for improving more comprehensive educational services.
