Abstract

Abstract. This study deals with the use picture word inductive model to improve students’ descriptive text writing class VII SMP Negeri 3 Kutacane Academic Year 2021/2022. Its objective is to find out whether the use picture word inductive model has a significance effect in writing descriptive text.Population used in this study of class VII were 87 and samples used in this study were 28 students. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a one group as pretest and posttest design .This study was carried on using quantitave method. The data was analysed by using t-test.The researcher found the pretest mean = 44,64 , deviation standard = 6,37 and experienced an increase in the posttest mean = 78,57 deviation standart = 4,05. From this analysis, writer found that guided picture word inductive model has significane in teaching writing descriptive text. It can be proved by the result of the analysis showed that “ ” observed about 23,73 was higher than “ttable” about 2,052 with the level significance is 0,05% it implies that the teacher of English should use picture word inductive model in teaching writing descriptive text so that the teaching and learning process can be successful.

Abstract

This study deals with the effectiveness of pair check method in writing announcement text at class X SMA Swasta Raudhatul Hasanah Academic Year 2021/2022. Its objective is to find out whether the use pair check method has a significance effect in announcement text writing. Population and samples used in this study were all students of class X total 27 students. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a one group as pretest and posttest design .This study was carried on using quantitave method. The data was analysed by using t-test.The researcher found the pretest mean = 51,67 deviation standard = 3,67 and experienced an increase in the posttest mean = 81,85 deviation standard = 2,46. From this analysis, writer found that guided pair check method has significane in teaching writing announcement text. It can be proved by the result of the analysis showed that “ ” observed about 35,50 was higher than “ttable” about 2,056 with the level significance is 0,05% it implies that the teacher of English should use pair check method in teaching announcement text writing so that the teaching and learning process can be successful.

Abstract

This research deals with the use of pop up book media to improve students’ descriptive text writing class VII SMP Negeri 1 Lawe Alas Academic Year 2022/2023. Its objective is to find out whether the use of pop up book media has a significance effect in writing descriptive text. Population used in this research of class VII were 38 and all samples used in this research were 38 students. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a one group as pre-test and post-test design .This research was carried on using quantitave method. The data was analysed by using t-test. The researcher found the pre-test mean = 56,18 , deviation standard = 5,86 and experienced an increase in the pos-ttest mean = 79,34 deviation standard = 4,10. From this analysis, writer found that guided pop up book media has significance in teaching writing descriptive text. It can be proved by the result of the analysis showed that “ ” observed about 26,02 was higher than “t-table” about 2,026 with the level significance is 5% it implies that the teacher of English should use pop up book media in teaching writing descriptive text so that the teaching and learning process can be successful.

Abstract

This study deals with the use of scramble model in students’ ability of narrative text at class XI in SMA Negeri 2 Lawe Bulan Academic Year 2021/2022. Its objective is to find out whether the use scramble model has a significance effect in narrative text writing. Population and samples used in this study were all students of class X total 36 students. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a one group as pretest and posttest design .This study was carried on using quantitave method. The data was analysed by using t-test. The researcher found the pretest mean = 43,05 , deviation standard = 4,48 and experienced an increase in the posttest mean = 80,83 , deviation standart = 4,55. From this analysis, writer found that guided scramble model has significane in teaching writing narrative text. It can be proved by the result of the analysis showed that “ ” observed about 35,64 was higher than “ttable” about 2,030 with the level significance is 0,05% it implies that the teacher of English should use scramble model in teaching narrative text writing so that the teaching and learning process can be successful.

Abstract

This study deal with the application of debate teaching techniques to improve student speaking ability at class XI ATPH of smk-pp negeri kutacane in academic year 2022/2023. Its objective is to find out whether the application debate teaching techniques can improve student speaking ability. Population used in this study of class xi ATPH and xi BUN were 64 student and sample used in this study of class XI ATPH were 33 student. The methode used in this study is an exsperimental method with a make pre-test and post-test design. This study carried on using quantitative method. The data was analysed by using t-test. The reseacher found the pre-test mean = 55,45, standart deviation = 7,21 and experienced an increase in the post-test mean = 73,33, standart deviation = 5,59. From this analysis, writer found that debate teaching techniques can improve student speaking ability. It can be proved by the result of the analysis showed that “to” observed about 33,74 was higher then “ttable” about 2,037 with level alpha 5%. Its implies that english teacher can application debate teaching techniques to improve student speaking ability. So that the teaching and learning process can be successfull.

Abstract

This study deals with the effect of using student team achievement division learning method on students’ ability in simple present tense on the XI IPA class of SMA Negeri 2 Lawe Bulan in the academic year 2022/2023. Its objective is to find out whether the use student team achievement division learning method has a significance effect in simple present tense. Population used in this study of class X, XI, and XII were 89 students and samples used in this study of class XI were 21 students. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a one group as pretest and posttest design. This study was carried on using quantitative method. The data was analysed by using t-test. The data was analysed by using t-test. The researcher found the pre-test mean = 55,23, deviation standard = 3,92 and experienced an increase in the post-test mean = 80,95 deviation standard = 3,65. From this analysis, writer found that student team achievement division learning method has significance in teaching simple present tense. It can be proved by the result of the analysis showed that “ ” observed about 49,44 was higher than “ttable” about 1,725 with the level significance is 0,05% it implies that the teacher of english should use Student Team achievement division learning method in teaching simple present tense so that the teaching and learning process can be successful.

Abstract

Fenomena perundungan atau bullying yang semakin marak terjadi di lingkungan sekolah. Bullying merupakan perilaku yang merugikan fisik, psikologis, atau sosial, dan seringkali dilakukan oleh satu atau sekelompok siswa terhadap siswa lainnya. Perundungan dapat menyebabkan dampak yang cukup serius pada kesehatan mental dan emosional korban, seperti stres, depresi, bahkan bunuh diri. Selain itu, bullying juga dapat mengganggu proses belajar mengajar di sekolah dan membuat lingkungan belajar menjadi tidak aman dan tidak nyaman. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan ini, konseling dianggap sebagai salah satu solusi yang tepat dan efektif dalam membantu korban perundungan mengatasi trauma dan memperbaiki diri. Selain itu, konseling juga dapat menjadi sarana untuk meningkatkan kesadaran siswa akan pentingnya menghormati hak asasi manusia dan menjaga keamanan dan kenyamanan di lingkungan sekolah. Oleh karena itu, implementasi kebijakan anti perundungan antar siswa melalui konseling menjadi suatu upaya yang penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, nyaman, dan kondusif bagi seluruh siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan peran Badan Usaha Milik Desa dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat desa di Kecamatan Budong-Budong, studi kasus Di Desa Babana, Desa Kire, Desa Lumu, Desa Salumanurung, Desa Pontanakayyang, Desa Salugatta, Desa Tinali, dan Desa Barakkang. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 7 informan yaitu 9 informan kunci, 6 informan utama, dan 12 informan pendukung. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peran Badan Usaha Milik Desa dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat dan untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor penghambat dan pendukung Badan Usaha Milik Desa dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu Badan Usaha Milik Desa Pada dasarnya sangat penting dalam peningkatan perekonomian sebagaimana fungsi dan tujuan Badan Usaha Milik Desa yaitu meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat dan menambah pendapatan asli desa. Namun dalam pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa di Kecamatan Budong-Budong terdapat kesenjangan sumber daya manusia dan pengelolaannya. Di tiap-tiap desa masih banyak pengurus Badan usaha milik desa yang belum paham fungsi dan tugasnya dan masyarakat yang mendapat bantuan modal tidak bertanggungjawab seperti modal yang dipinjam tidak dikembalikan.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to portray novice teachers’ emotional experiences contributing to their teacher identity construction during their first years of teaching at school. This narrative study focuses on three EFL novice teachers’ narratives of the negative and positive emotional experiences they encountered as new teachers. Using a narrative framework in analyzing the data, three main themes emerge from the narrative, i.e., emotional experiences during being pre-service teachers, emotional experiences after being novice teachers, and the contrast before and after being novice teachers. This study implies that teacher educators should raise the student teachers’ awareness of their teacher identity construction before the new teachers enter the real teaching field.

Abstract

Territorial expansion (pemekaran wilayah) is a form of decentralization within the framework of regional autonomy aimed at improving the efficiency of public services, accelerating development, and shortening the span of government control. This article aims to analyze the dynamics of territorial expansion in South Lampung Regency and its implications for regional governance. The method used is a qualitative approach involving literature studies, documentation, and in-depth interviews with several key informants. The findings indicate that territorial expansion in South Lampung, such as the establishment of Pesawaran and Pringsewu Regencies, has had a significant impact administratively, in terms of public service delivery, as well as on local socio-political dynamics. However, challenges such as elite interest conflicts, development disparities, and institutional capacity constraints remain obstacles to achieving effective and efficient governance. Therefore, continuous evaluation of expansion policies and the strengthening of regional government capacity are necessary.
