The R and D’s model used Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE). Validity test obtained from two expert validators and Practicality test obtained from the using of media by teacher and students. The Develop stage of this study conducted by validating comic book for further be implemented on SMP Negeri 1 Tinggimoncong, Class of VIIIA. The number of subjects comprised of 32 students. Data collected from interview, observation and questionnaire. The result of validity test showed the average of media feasibility percentage is  92%. While the subject matter feasibility gained 87%. Both of these result showed very decent category which was meant that the media is feasible to be used. The average of teacher and students respond gained 85% and 87% respectively toward positive respond. From the point of feasibility which had been evaluated by validity and practical test, this study can be conclude that comic book is valid and practice learning media to be implemented in learning process.

Abstract

Abstract. This descriptive study aims to determine: 1) the suitability of learning objectives with basic competencies (BC), 2) the distribution of cognitive process levels of learning objectives based on Bloom's taxonomy revision, and 3) the completeness of the components of the formulation of learning objectives in the lesson plan (LP) for high school biology teachers at SMA Negeri 14 Gowa. There were 11 LP studied, namely 6 LP for the even semester of class XI and 5 LP for the even semester of class XII for the academic year 2020/2021 which consisted of 22 BC, 80 indicators of competency achievement (ICA), and 80 formulations of learning objectives. The instruments used are assessment sheets and checklists. The data is processed by calculating the percentage (%) of each category. It was concluded: 1) the suitability of the learning objectives with the dominant BC (63.75%) was appropriate, 28.75% was quite suitable, and 7.50% was not suitable; 2) distribution of levels of cognitive process learning objectives based on the revision of Bloom's taxonomy dominant (53.75%) C2, each level has been represented but not proportionally; 3) the completeness of the dominant learning objective component (97.50) is incomplete, containing only audience and behavior components, some even have only behavior components. Keywords: lesson plans, learning objectives, suitability, distribution, completeness.

Abstract

Abstract

The progress of science and technology in the world of education has made academics adapt to new conditions due to social change. The teacher is the front guard in the class who can provide great opportunities to make the learning atmosphere more interesting and fun. Teachers with innovative skills will become agents of reform who can change the generation of the nation's children for the better through an innovative and interesting learning system. To achieve the quality of learning, teachers must have competence, one of which is pedagogical competence in planning the learning process. The learning planning referred to in this activity is the development of e-module-based learning media. The purpose of this training and mentoring is to increase knowledge and skills in creating microlearning-based e-modules for teachers of SMA Negeri 9 Makassar. The Community Partnership Program is carried out in 3 main stages, namely the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The results of this activity are increasing the skills and knowledge of service participants in making other variations of learning media to be used as learning resources, assisting in using variations of learning methods other than conventional, can also familiarize trainees with technology in preparing learning resources.

Abstract

This study was a descriptive correlational research that aimed to know the correlation between emotional intelligence and students’ biology learning outcomes. The population in this study was all of the students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri 3 Makassar as many as 256 people. The research samples were 158 students chose by purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted in March of 2018 on academic year 2017/2018. Emotional intelligences’ data obtained by survey methode using questionnaire and students’ biology learning outcomes obtained by multiple-choice test. Data of research analyzed with descriptive statistic to know the emotional intelligence and students’ biology learning outcomes, and inferensial statistic that are normality test using Kolmogrov-Smirnov test, linearity test using ANOVA Table analysis and correlation test using Pearson Product Moment to know the correlation between emotional intelligence and students’ biology learning outcomes. The results showed that: (1) the dominant learners had emotional intelligence in medium category with percentage 64,56%, (2) the dominant learners had biology learning outcomes in very low category by percentage 61,39%, (3) there was a correlation between emotional intelligence and students’ biology learning outcomes proved by coefisien correlation number < 0.05 as amount as 0.000. The coefisien correlation amount of this research was 0,692 showed that the correlation category was strong.

Abstract

Metacognition skills and concept understanding can be improved through learning strategies that lead to improved thinking skills. Learning strategies are used to achieve learning objectives effectively and efficiently with the help of virtual laboratories as learning media and provide opportunities to get information more efficiently, also make students aware of their thinking control, so they know what to do and how to do it and students learn to actively reconstruct their conceptual understanding. This study aims to analyse the development of virtual laboratory integrated learning strategies that can improve metacognition skills and concept understanding in biology learning. This type of research is method using the literature study method. The development of this learning strategy adapts the Inquiry, Discovery and Cooperative learning strategies to produce the SIRNI strategy. The syntax of the SIRNI learning strategy is Stimulation, Idea Generation, Research, Conclusion, Reflection This learning strategy is expected to help improve students' metacognition skills and concept understanding so that students' mastery in processing learning information increases, helps students solve problems related to misconceptions and learning errors, and increases students' desire to learn.
