Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the effects of tax planning, institutional shareholding, managerial shareholding, board independence, and audit assurance quality on firm valuation. Firm valuation is regarded as a fundamental indicator of corporate performance, as it reflects investors’ perceptions and the overall financial condition of the firm. The analysis is conducted on a sample of 27 consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over the 2017–2020 period. A quantitative approach with an associative research design is employed, utilizing panel data regression techniques carried out using EViews 9.0. The empirical findings indicate that institutional shareholding, board independence, and audit assurance quality have a positive and statistically significant impact on firm valuation. In contrast, tax planning and managerial shareholding are found to have no significant effect on firm valuation within the observed sector. Moreover, the results of the simultaneous significance test (F-test) demonstrate that all independent variables jointly influence firm valuation, accounting for approximately 83.78% of its total variation. Overall, the findings emphasize that effective corporate governance structures and credible audit practices play a critical role in strengthening firm valuation, particularly in the consumer goods industry.

Abstract

This study examines what waqf knowledge and trust influence waqif's intentions to donate to the livestock sector. Extending the Theory of Planned Behavior, this research adopts a quantitative approach. Data was collected through online questionnaires for respondents who had previously donated waqf. This research utilizes Smart-PLS version 4 along with Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling. The findings of this research indicate that subjective norms, attitude toward behavior, trust, and knowledge about waqf significantly affect the intention to perform waqf specifically for the livestock sector. Meanwhile, perceived behavioral control shows the opposite result. In addition, trust and waqf knowledge are the variables with the most significant influence on waqf intentions. This research provides insight to waqf regulators and nazhir who have a particular waqf program for the livestock sector to continue to increase literacy and education about waqf and how it plays a role in maintaining national food security. This research also not only reinforces the importance of the waqf sector but also has implications for the livestock sector concerning sources of financing for breeders and efforts to utilize waqf land as grazing fields

Abstract

Selection high resin candidate P.merkusii is a series of breeding activities to get high resin production trait of pine trees.  In selection process of candidate tress, genetic diversity plays  very important role because higher genetic diversity will give higher opportunity to get source of genes for improved trait. Selection activities of high resin yielder candidates were started  in 2006 through a series of survey activity and morphological identification of candidate trees with high resin production. Specific information about traits genetically related to resin production in Cijambu Seedling Seed Orchard is still not determined yet , although based on resin distribution trend this SSO has the highest mean of resin production.  In this study, progenies planted in 1978 -1983 were evaluated to determine the effectiveness of previous selection, as well as the value of heritability and phenotypic traits that allegedly related with resin production. The results showed high value of coefficient genetic variation (CVG:16.08%), narrow sense heritability values for resin production trait (0.65) and resemble with previous research. This indicates that genetic factor was  dominant for resin production and selection activities has been done for 30 years was effective to get high yielder superior candidate.  Bark thickness, crown length and stem diameter trait was positively significant correlated to resin production, whereas level of pests and diseases was negatively significant correlated to resin production, it is possible that  the trait related with lighting conditions that supporting photosynthesis process and number of resin duct in the wood.  Key words: Selection, high resin yielder, P. merkusii, variation, heritability, phenotypic

Abstract

Aquilaria microcarpa is one of agarwood-producing plants, Interaction of pathogenic fungi may cause physiological changes in plants that have an impact on visual changes in cells, tissues or organs of plants. This study aims to determine differences in the anatomical characters of Aquilaria microcarpa that have been inoculated with Fusarium sp. Observations of anatomical characters showed that traits of inoculated and un-inoculated Aquilaria microcarpa in general are partly different. The difference was found in wood color, odor/aroma, the pores of wood and leather inserted visible. Chemical compounds contained in the plant interact with fusarium was Elemol, Baimuxinal, 3-phenyl-2-butanone, chromen-4-one.

Abstract

Indonesian higher education is increasingly expected to become an impactful institution contributing not only to academic competence but also to character formation, spiritual maturity, and social transformation. This study employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) design to develop and evaluate the Coaching Membangun Jiwa Merdeka model, grounded in the integration of Nusantara philosophy and practical Sufism. The process involved module development, expert validation, and Training of Trainer (ToT) implementation at Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Al Ghazali Cilacap in collaboration with the Faculty of Philosophy, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Thirty-two participants — consisting of teachers, lecturers, school or madrasah leaders, and students — were purposively selected. Data were collected through participatory observation, questionnaires, interviews, participant testimonies, expert judgment, and documentation, and were analysed using descriptive quantitative analysis and qualitative thematic analysis. The findings revealed a very high level of participant acceptance, with 100% of participants perceiving the training as beneficial and 93.7% expressing readiness to become Jiwa Merdeka coaches. Qualitative findings indicated that the model strengthened philosophical reflection, spiritual awareness, emotional calmness, self-understanding, and readiness to apply the method in educational and community contexts. The principal novelty of this study lies in the formulation of the Four-Step Jurus, which systematically integrates munajat and muhasabah with Al-Fatihah, Qur'anic reflection, Asmaul Husna contemplation, and conscience-based dialogue as a culturally grounded, non-Western coaching framework. The study implies that spiritually transformative coaching can serve as a practical model for character education, teacher development, student mentoring, and community empowerment within the Kampus Berdampak agenda.

Abstract

This study examines the strategy of integrating Islamic Religious Education (IRE/PAI) values into Scout extracurricular activities as a systematic effort to cultivate religious character in students at MAN 8 Jombang. The study is grounded in a tangible gap between students' theoretical comprehension of Islamic norms and their ability to actualize those norms in daily behavior. It aims to: (1) describe the integration models applied within Scout activities; (2) analyze the impact of such integration on students' religious character formation; and (3) identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, involving PAI teachers across four subject areas (Qur'an-Hadith, Islamic Creed and Ethics, Fiqh, and Islamic Cultural History), Scout leaders, and students. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, validated through source and technique triangulation. Findings reveal that PAI-Scout integration at MAN 8 Jombang operates through three Fogarty models: connected (linking classroom content with field activities), nested (embedding multiple affective-cognitive targets within a single activity), and shared (using joint activities as integration vehicles). The most significant impact is observed in the strengthening of moral action within Lickona's character framework, particularly in the domains of worship discipline, honesty, responsibility, and social care. Key supporting factors include institutional policy support and personal teacher-leader collaboration, while primary obstacles are unstructured institutional coordination and disparities in students' motivation.
