Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teamwork in improving sales performance at PT. Alfa Scorpii Sentral Yamaha Medan. Facing increasingly fierce competition in the automotive industry, the company encounters challenges related to the effectiveness of teamwork, including communication issues, unequal member involvement, and unclear task distribution. Using a qualitative approach through a case study method, this research identifies that good leadership, mutual trust among team members, and organizational support are key factors that strengthen teamwork. The findings indicate that teamwork plays a significant role in enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening customer relationships, and facilitating collective achievement of sales targets. This study recommends team skill training, improving communication transparency, implementing team-based incentives, and strengthening the role of supervisors to foster a work environment that supports effective teamwork.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplor manajemen stres kerja yang dihadapi karyawan di berbagai sektor selama masa pandemi Covid-19 melalui pendekatan studi kasus. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengen mengumpulkan data melalui pengamatan pada berita media online. Studi ini melibatkan beberapa karyawan dari berbagai sektor yang mengalami tekanan stres kerja akibat perubahan cara kerja dan ketidakpastian situasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pandemi telah meningkatkan tingkat stres di kalangan karyawan, yang berdampak negatif pada produktivitas dan kesehatan mental. Faktor yang mempengaruhi meningkatnya stress kerja disebabkan oleh beberapa hal diantaranya faktor lingkungan, organisasi, dan individu. Oleh karean itu, penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya manajemen stres kerja untuk menjaga produktivitas dan kesehatan mental karyawan di berbagai sektor di tengah tantangan pandemi. Penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan penerapan strategi manajemen stres yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis karyawan dan kinerja organisasi di masa krisis ini.

Abstract

Google merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang terbesar di dunia. Pada tahun 2023 terungkap isu bahwa google akan mem-PHK sekitar 12.000 karyawan itu termasuk 6% dari karyawan google yang ada. Langkah ini diambil sebagai bagian dari penyesuaian perusahaan terhadap kondisi ekonomi global yang menantang dan untuk merampingkan operasi mereka, terutama setelah periode progres pesat selama pandemi COVID-19 dan juga google merubah strategi usaha. Sasaran dari riset ini yaitu untuk mengeksplorasi perasaan dan kecemasan karyawan Google terkait perubahan kebijakan dan prospektif PHK. Metode penelitian ini adalah dengan metode studi literatur dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkap adanya krisis emosional yang signifikan di kalangan karyawan Google sebagai akibat dari ancaman PHK dan perubahan kebijakan perusahaan. Stres, kecemasan, dan ketidakpastian menjadi emosi dominan yang dirasakan karyawan. Ketidakpuasan terhadap komunikasi manajemen yang kurang transparan dan kurangnya dukungan emosional dari perusahaan semakin memperburuk situasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ketidakjelasan kebijakan internal dan komunikasi yang buruk di Google telah memicu peningkatan stres dan ketidakpuasan karyawan. Untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan dan produktivitas organisasi, perusahaan perlu meningkatkan transparansi dan memberikan dukungan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of self-leadership and competence on employee performance at the Seed Certification UPTD of the Food Security, Food Crops and Horticulture Service of North Sumatra Province. Data collection methods in this research were interviews, observation and questionnaires. Questionnaires were given to 70 respondents using the side total method. This research used multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The research method used is a quantitative method. Based on the results of the analysis, the conclusion from this research is that self-leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Seed Certification UPTD of the Food Security, Food Crops and Horticulture Service of North Sumatra Province. This means that the better self-leadership, the higher the performance of employees at the Seed Certification UPTD of the Food Security, Food Crops and Horticulture Service of North Sumatra Province. Competency has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Seed Certification UPTD of the Food Security, Food Crops and Horticulture Service of North Sumatra Province. This means that the better the employee’s competency, the higher the employee’s performance at the Seed Certification UPTD of the North Sumatra Province Food Security, Food Crops and Horticulture Service. Self-leadership and competence simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Seed Certification UPTD of the Food Security, Food Crops and Horticulture Service of North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti dampak secara parsial dan simultan pengaruh kecerdasan emosional,penempatan kerja yang tepat dan etos kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai Badan Pertanahan Negara (BPN) Kabuoaten Aceh Tamiang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kantor Badan Pertanahan Nasional (BPN) Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh pegawai yang bekerja di Badan Pertanahan Negara (BPN) Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai, berjumlah 71 responden, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji normalitas, uji multikolinearitas, uji hipotesis, dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai BPN di Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Penempatan Kerja juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai BPN di Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Selain itu, Etos Kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja Pegawai BPN di Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Secara keseluruhan, kecerdasan emosional, penempatan kerja, dan etos Kerja secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai BPN di Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang. Abstract

Satisfaction with academic services is something that needs to be considered in order to achieve quality services that ensure student satisfaction as the main stakeholder in educational service organizationsThis study aims to see the level of student satisfaction with the service quality focusing on academic aspect. This research was conducted in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Medan. There are five indicators of academic service satisfaction in this study, they are Tangible Aspects, Assurance Aspects, Empathy Aspects, Responsive Aspects, and Reliability Aspects. This research method is quantitative with questionnaire data collection techniques to 689 respondents, they are students of the Economic Study Program, Business Education Study Program, Office Administration Education Study Program, and Economics Education Study Program. The results showed that student satisfaction at the Faculty of Economics both in terms of Tangible, Assurance, Empathy, Responsiveness, and Reliability, overall dominant were in the Good and Excellent categories, but with some suggestions for improving service quality within in the Department of Economics in the future

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the main causes of conflict occurring at PT Garuda Indonesia, the impact of these conflicts on the company's performance, and to provide strategic recommendations to prevent similar conflicts in the future. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach, where data is collected through literature studies from various academic sources, articles, and company reports related to the conflicts that have occurred at PT Garuda Indonesia. The findings indicate that the conflicts at PT Garuda Indonesia are caused by weak internal oversight, conflicts of interest, and a lack of management transparency. The impact of these conflicts is reflected in decreased employee morale, a damaged corporate reputation, and dissatisfaction among management and shareholders. This research implies the importance of implementing good corporate governance and the need for stricter oversight systems to manage and prevent conflicts within the organization. The company is expected to improve relationships with all stakeholders through transparency and effective communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the role of good governance in preventing corruption in PT Antam, focusing on the application of the principles of transparency, accountability, and integrity in shaping an anti-corruption organizational culture. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research identifies important elements of good governance, such as leadership with integrity, stakeholder participation, and an effective monitoring system. The results show that failures in the implementation of good governance principles contribute to the emergence of a corruptive culture, especially in PT Antam's Precious Metals Management and Refining. Weak transparency, accountability, and internal supervision allow abuse of authority to occur thoroughly. This study recommends improving the implementation of good governance and strengthening the supervisory system to prevent corruption in the future.

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of political leadership style on employee performance and discipline in state-owned companies in Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative with secondary data analysis. The results show that fair and thoughtful political leadership contributes positively to employee discipline, while overly dominant leadership can decrease motivation and discipline. Factors such as organizational culture, education level, and employee involvement in decision-making also influence this relationship. Transparent and fair politics can increase discipline, while poorly managed politics can lead to dissatisfaction. The article also emphasizes the importance of further research to understand the relationship between political leadership and employee discipline and develop strategies to reduce the negative impact on employee productivity and well-being

Abstract

This research aims to examine the basic concepts of organizational behavior with a focus on the meaning, objectives, levels of analysis, and managerial implications. Using a literature approach, this research reviews relevant literature in three journals related to organizational behavior and leadership. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that a deep understanding of organizational behavior is very important to increase managerial effectiveness in organizations. This study also highlights how leadership style and organizational culture influence human resource performance, as well as how psychological and sociological approaches can be applied in the management of educational organizations.
