Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of trust, service features, and product knowledge on user satisfaction with the Dana e-wallet application among students of the Digital Business Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Medan. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, using purposive sampling to select 73 respondents who had used the Dana application for at least six months. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to assess both simultaneous and partial effects of the independent variables on user satisfaction. The results show that trust and product knowledge have a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction, while service features do not have a significant influence. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.731, indicating that 73.1% of the variation in user satisfaction can be explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining 26.9% is influenced by other unexamined factors. These findings highlight the importance of building user trust and enhancing product understanding as key strategies for improving satisfaction with the Dana e-wallet.

Abstract

Abstrak. Loyalitas konsumen merupakan faktor kunci dalam keberlangsungan bisnis ritel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Efisiensi Proses dan kualitas layanan terhadap loyalitas konsumen di Swalayan Maju Bersama. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 230 mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Medan dari berbagai fakultas yang menjadi pelanggan swalayan tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert, kemudian dianalisis melalui regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa Efisiensi Proses dan kualitas layanan memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. Efisiensi Proses yang tinggi, seperti proses transaksi yang cepat dan pengelolaan stok yang optimal, memberikan pengalaman belanja yang lebih nyaman dan efisien. Sementara itu, kualitas layanan yang baik, yang mencakup keramahan staf, responsivitas terhadap keluhan, serta kenyamanan lingkungan swalayan, turut meningkatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa swalayan perlu mengoptimalkan sistem operasional dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan guna mempertahankan loyalitas pelanggan Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa keterbatasan, di antaranya cakupan responden yang hanya melibatkan mahasiswa dan belum mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor lain seperti harga dan promosi. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar penelitian mendatang memperluas populasi responden serta menambahkan variabel-variabel lain guna memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih menyeluruh mengenai loyalitas konsumen dalam sektor ritel.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan dan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap minat  menabung masyarakat di Kecamatan Sianjur Mula-Mula. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dimana data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuisioner dan menggunakan data sekunder dimana data dan informasi yang dibutuhkan dengan cara membaca buku, data dari internet, dan skripsi  penelitian terdahulu. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu menggunakan metode Pengambilan Sampel Berlapis (Stratified Random). Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah orang yang berusia 15-75 Tahun dan mengetahui Koperasi Simpan Pinjam (KSP) Makmur Mandiri dengan jumlah 130 Orang. Sedangkan perangkat lunak yang digunakan untuk mengolah data pada penelitian ini adalah SPSS versi 25. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa literasi keuangan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menabung masyarakat, dengan nilai beta 0,596 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Kepercayaan masyarakat juga memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dengan nilai beta sebesar 0,296 dan signifikansi sebsar 0,000. Secara simultan kedua variable memiliki kontribusi sebesar 91,1% terhadap minat menabung masyarakat ( R square), dengan 8,9% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.Keywords: Literasi keuangan, Kepercayaan masyarakat, dan Minat  menabung

Abstract

The beauty industry is among the fastest-growing and most competitive sectors globally. In an attempt to gain a competitive advantage, many companies adopt buzz marketing strategies to create product virality and accelerate sales growth. Buzz marketing leverages social media platforms, utilizing influencers, buzzers, and affiliators to spread messages that generate interest and shape positive public perception. While commercially effective, this marketing technique raises significant ethical concerns, particularly regarding the psychological and social pressure imposed on women—the industry's primary consumer base. This study aims to evaluate the contribution of buzz marketing to the beauty industry while critically examining its ethical implications. Using the normative BP3 approach—Intents, Means, and Ends—this research analyzes how the strategy aligns with or violates ethical marketing principles. A qualitative method is employed through literature review and case analysis to support the normative assessment. The findings reveal that although buzz marketing serves legitimate business objectives, the means by which it operates often perpetuate unrealistic beauty ideals and reinforce societal expectations around physical appearance. This has the unintended consequence of contributing to body image dissatisfaction, mental health struggles, and the normalization of exclusionary beauty standards. These effects raise concerns about the ethical integrity of such practices. The study concludes that for the beauty industry to evolve ethically, it must adopt more inclusive and socially responsible marketing practices. Companies are encouraged to shift toward messaging that celebrates diverse appearances, promotes self-acceptance, and prioritizes consumer well-being. Ethical marketing in this context is not only a moral imperative but also a sustainable strategy for long-term brand trust and loyalty.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of how the availability of raw materials and the quality of salted fish products influence the sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Hajoran Village, Pandan District, Central Tapanuli Regency. The study aims to analyze the extent to which these two factors contribute to the continuity and long-term viability of MSME businesses in the region. The research uses a quantitative approach, with the population being MSME actors engaged in salted fish production in Hajoran Village. The sample consisted of 63 respondents, selected through purposive sampling, with data collected via questionnaire distribution. Data analysis was performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26. The findings indicate that the availability of raw materials has a positive and significant effect on business sustainability, with a standardized coefficient of 0.378 and a significance level of 0.000. Likewise, product quality also shows a positive and significant influence, with a coefficient of 0.455 and the same significance level (0.000). Simultaneously, these two variables contribute a combined influence of 68.4% to the sustainability of MSMEs. The results suggest that improving access to raw materials and enhancing product quality are crucial strategies for ensuring the long-term success of MSMEs in the salted fish industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak teknologi dan pengembangan sumber daya manusia terhadap pengelolaan kualitas di sektor UMKM fashion, dengan Idola Fashion sebagai objek studi. Dalam konteks perekonomian Indonesia, UMKM memainkan peranan yang signifikan, tetapi menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam meningkatkan daya saing dan kualitas manajemen di era digital saat ini. Metode yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif, di mana data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada konsumen Idola Fashion. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa teknologi mendukung efisiensi dalam proses produksi dan meningkatkan standard produk, sementara pengembangan karyawan melalui program pelatihan berkontribusi pada peningkatan produktivitas dan kreativitas. Analisis regresi memperlihatkan bahwa baik penggunaan teknologi maupun pelatihan karyawan memiliki dampak yang signifikan pada manajemen kualitas, dengan persamaan regresi yang dihasilkan adalah Y = 2,750 + 0,191X₁ + 0,674X₂. Harapan dari temuan ini adalah untuk memberikan perspektif kepada UMKM fashion lainnya guna memaksimalkan penggunaan teknologi dan pengembangan karyawan demi peningkatan kualitas manajemen serta loyalitas pelanggan.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower the Galansia Business Group in Sait Buttu Saribu Village, Pematang Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency, which is engaged in the processing of agricultural products and household products. The main problems faced by the partners include limited production capacity, inconsistent product quality, simple business management, and traditional marketing methods. To overcome these problems, the community service team applied a participatory approach by providing appropriate technology, business management assistance, and digital marketing training. The results of the activities showed a significant increase in production capacity, time efficiency, and product quality consistency thanks to the use of onion slicing machines and liquid soap mixing machines. In terms of marketing, the partners successfully utilized social media as a means of promotion and distribution, and improved product packaging to make it more attractive and professional. In terms of management, the partners were able to implement simple digital-based financial records and were facilitated in handling business legality. The impact achieved was an increase in members' income of more than 50% and the growth of entrepreneurial spirit among the village's elderly. This program has proven to be effective in supporting business independence and can be used as a model for community-based MSME empowerment in the digital era.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a necessity for State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), particularly BRI, to face disruptions in the technological era. This study evaluates the reskilling and upskilling programs at BRI Medan in addressing the need for digital competencies, productivity improvement, and digital banking services. A mixed-method approach was used through in-depth interviews and questionnaires with program participants and HR management at BRI Medan, supported by digital policy documents and performance reports. The analysis focused on digital competencies, participant satisfaction, team performance impact, and regional implementation scale. Initial results indicate that the program emphasizes digital literacy, cybersecurity, the use of digital platforms, basic data analytics, and digital customer service. There was an improvement in skills and adaptability despite challenges such as limited training resources, varying employee profiles, and the need for job-specific customization. Positive impacts on operational efficiency and digital customer satisfaction were identified, with the acceleration of data-driven initiatives. The discussion highlights sustainable design, routine monitoring and evaluation, and the integration of the program into career paths. Policy implications: expansion of the program at Medan branches with a clear budget and strengthening the digital learning ecosystem. This study provides a practical overview of how BUMN, particularly BRI Medan, manages digital transformation through regional competency development.
