Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and provide appropriate teaching methods for Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers to help visually impaired students in learning. Because there are still Christian religious education teachers in teaching the visually impaired only use conventional methods (lectures) which are monotonous and less interesting. As a result, students often feel bored and have difficulty understanding the learning material. For this reason, this research uses a qualitative method with a literature research approach. Data was collected by reviewing various literature, articles, books, and related sources of information. The results show that Christian Religious Education teachers can use several teaching methods that are suitable for the characteristics of visually impaired students, such as the lecture method, question and answer method, discussion method, and drill method. In addition, Christian Religious Education teachers must give special attention, guide, and motivate blind students to help them learn. The conclusion of this research is that Christian Religious Education teachers must be able to apply a variety of appropriate and interesting teaching methods in an innovative, creative, and versatile manner to optimize the learning experience of blind students, making learning more effective and enjoyable. Appropriate teaching methods and supportive approaches significantly improve students' engagement and understanding of the teaching materials.

Abstract

Daerah Kabupaten Timor Tengah Selatan memiliki kawasan yang tidak semua permukimannya memiliki ketersediaan air bersih dikarenakan di Timor Tengah Selatan, tidak semua sumber air tanah di kontrol Hidrogeologi. Kelurahan Cendana memiliki satu mata air yang layak dimanfaatkan yaitu mata air Oebonak dengan jumlah debit 4,69 l/s. Mata air Oebonak terdapat pada akuifer dengan produktivitas sedang dan berada dalam formasi batu gamping. Mata air yang dihasilkan berasal dari mata air kontak dan mata air yang terbentuk akibat patahan. Pemanfaatan potensi air tanah berupa perencanaan transmisi dan distribusi menggunakan software Epanet 2.2 dan menggunakan pompa submersible merk Lorentz tipe PS2-4000_c-SJ5-25, jenis pipa yang digunakan High Destiny Polyhylene (HDPE) dimulai dari mata air ke bak penampung dengan pipa diameter 50 mm dan debit aliran air 4,69 liter/detik pada kecepatan 1,6 m/s. Selanjutnya, dari bak penampung ke reservoir utama dengan debit 1,5 liter/detik dan kecepatan 0,76 m/s melalui pipa diameter 50 mm. Pada pipa distribusi utamanya menggunakan pipa ukuran ¾ ” atau 32 mm untuk pipa sambungan rumah digunakan untuk mengalirkan air sebesar 0,2 liter/detik .Perhitungan headloss secara otomatis melalui Software Epanet 2.2 menggunakan persamaan Hazan-William.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation and transformational leadership on the performance of kindergarten teachers in Kupang City, with work experience as an intermediary variable. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. A total of 190 kindergarten teachers who participated in this study were selected based on the Krejcie table with a significance level of 5%. This research instrument used a Google Form questionnaire. Hypothesis testing uses a normality test, significance test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, coefficient of determination test, and Sobel test. The results of this study indicate that better work motivation and the application of transformational leadership can improve teacher performance through work experience. With good work motivation from a teacher, it will be a driving force in improving teacher performance. The better a principal who applies aspects of transformational leadership well can create a supportive work environment to increase teacher effectiveness. Work experience is also an important factor in improving teacher performance, where teachers who are new to teaching show better performance in matters related to current topics of various general knowledge. Principals are advised to support training and professional development programs for teachers so that they can share experiences that then improve teacher performance. For further research, it is expected to explore other factors that affect teacher performance.

Abstract

Work motivation drives teachers to perform optimally, while transformational leadership can inspire and empower teachers to achieve shared goals effectively. Therefore, this study aims to analyze how work experience functions as a mediating variable in the relationship between work motivation and transformational leadership on teacher performance. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type of research. The population was 380 teachers with a sample of 190 kindergarten teachers in Kupang City using a random sampling technique using guidance from the Kerjce table. Data collection used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire with 47 items measuring work motivation, transformational leadership, teacher performance with and the work experience. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression models and path analysis. The results of this study indicate that work motivation and transformational leadership can improve teacher performance directly and indirectly through work experience. This study shows that work motivation and transformational leadership majorly impact school teacher performance. There is a significant effect of work experience in mediating work motivation on teacher performance. In addition, work experience significantly influences and mediates transformational leadership on teacher performance. It is hoped that the results of this study can support the science of human resource management and teacher performance both academic and practical.

Abstract

This study aims to predict bitcoin prices using the time series method. One of the time series methods used is the ARIMA model. The data used is secondary data obtained from the site https://finance.yahoo.com in the form of monthly closing price data. Monthly closing price data starting from August 2017 to July 2022 totaling 60 data. The data obtained is used to predict bitcoin prices for the next 10 months, namely August 2022 to May 2023. The results show that the ARIMA(0,2,2) model is the best model chosen. The prediction results using the ARIMA model (0,2,2) for August 2022 to May 2023 are 25,674.46; 26018.57; 26,362.68; 26,706.79; 27050.90; 27,395.01; 27,739.13; 28083.24; 28,427.35 and 28,771.46. The results of this prediction show that the price of bitcoin will increase and the difference between the actual price and the predicted results is not much different from the actual data on the price of bitcoin.

Abstract

Seiring perkembangan zaman membuat persaingan di dunia industri semakin meningkat. Setiap bisnis melakukan prinsip ekonomi, yaitu dengan sedkit usaha atau modal mampu menghasilkan keuntungan yang besar. Masalah ekonomi ini sesuai dengan masalah optimasih yaitu memaksimumkan dan meminimumkan biaya atau keuntungan dengan kepasitas sumber daya yang ada untuk mendapatkan hasil yang optimal. Program linear bilangan bulat (ILP) adalah model program linear khusus untuk menyelesaikan masalah dimana nilai variabel keputusan harus merupa bilangan bulat (integer) untuk penyelesaian optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah [1] Untuk mengetahui cara menggunakan model (ILP) dalam  menyelesaikan masalah produksi pada perusahan Mitra Mebel Jepara, [2] Untuk mengetahui cara menggunakan metode Branch and Bound untuk menetukan jumlah produk maubelair yang harus diproduksi setiap bulan oleh perusahan Mitra Mebel Jepara. Dan [3] Untuk mengetahui jumlah produk maubelair yang harus diproduksi setiap bulan oleh perusahan Mitra Mebel Jepara untuk memperoleh keuntungan maksimum. Metode yang digunakan ialah metode Branch and Bound  diterapkan pada masalah optimasi produk mebel yang ada pada Perusahan Mitra Mebel Jepara Kuneru Kabupaten Belu. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, dimana Penulis melakukan Tanya jawab dengan pemilik mebel untuk mendapatkan data yang diteliti, dalam penelitian ini. Proses perhitungannya memperoleh hasil maubelair tempat tidur sebanyak 20 unit sedangkan untuk meja, kursi, buffet, dan lemari dua pintu 0 dengan memperoleh keuntungan sebesar Rp. 4.070.000:-.

Abstract

Model Pembelajaran Simulasi merupakan salah satu model yang baik diterapkan di sekolah agar dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa karena dengan adanya model simulasi dapat membantu siswa untuk berperan aktif dalam kelas. suatu simulasi dapat memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk melatih kemampuan siswa dalam memperoleh satu tujuan yang maksimal. Dan disini siswa juga siswa diikutsertakan dan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran menjadi tujuan yang penting dalam mengembangkan ketrampilan siswa. penerapan model simulasi dimana siswa aktif dan mampu menerapkan sesuai dengan kemampuanya demikain minat siswa semakin meningkat. Setelah melakukan penelitian sesuai dengan metodologi yang baku, maka dapat hasil perhitungan korelasi antara kedua variabel adalah sebesar 0,869 atau 87% masuk pada kategori sangat kuat. Berdasarkan uji regresi antara dua variabel sebesar 0,756 atau 76% yang berarti bahwa model pembelajaran simulasi memberi kontribusi sebesar 76% terhadap minat belajar siswa pendididk agama kristen dan 24% merupakan pengaruh lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian di SD Pelita Abadi Jakarta Barat. Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran simulasi, Dalam meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa PAK

Abstract

This research aims at finding out the efficacy of using Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in teaching speaking especially describing to Indonesian English as Foreign Language (EFL) students. The main question of this research: Is the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach effective in teaching speaking to Indonesian EFL students? The research can be an addition to the persisting teaching speaking in English through the use of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. This research was conducted at First semester students of the English Study Program of Nusa Cendana University, Kupang. The population of this research was First semester students of the English Study Program of Nusa Cendana University, Kupang. The number population is 160 in four classes. The research used a pre-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design. The pre-test was given to find out the basic ability of the students in mastering speaking and the post-test given to find out the students’ improvement in mastering speaking after giving the treatment by using problem solving approach. The findings show that using problem solving is effective in teaching speaking to Indonesian EFL students. It is supported by the result of the significance test through SPSS 20 program that the P was 0.00. Therefore, it is recommended to use problem solving approach in developing students’ speaking of Indonesian EFL students.

Abstract

Learning motivation is one of the determining factors in achieving learning objectives. From learning motivation, students have a desire to take part in continuous learning. Therefore, a teacher must be able to increase student motivation in learning and there are many ways that teachers can use in increasing student learning motivation and one way to increase student motivation is by using media that is fun and easy for students to use. Quizizz is a learning application used by First semester students of the English Study Program of Nusa Cendana University, Kupang. . So, researchers conducted research on student perceptions of using the Quizizz application. The data collection techniques used by researchers are questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the perceptions of students in First semester students of the English Study Program of Nusa Cendana University, Kupang. are motivated by the application of learning using the quizizz application. The quizizz application makes students happy to use it and find it easy to use.
