Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penggunaan media Quiziz terhadap peningkatan kosakata bahasa Inggris pada siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Islam Asy-Syakirin. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 60 siswa, terbagi dalam dua kelompok kelas III A (30 siswa) dan kelas III B (30 siswa). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes yang terdiri dari 15 soal yang telah divalidasi. Hasil uji t untuk pretest menunjukkan t hitung = 1,211 dan t tabel = 2,000, sehingga tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara rata-rata nilai pretest kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Namun, hasil uji t untuk postest menunjukkan t hitung = 4,399 dan t tabel = 2,000, yang menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media Quiziz dalam meningkatkan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh media Quiziz dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Islam Asy-Syakirin.

Abstract

Riset ini berupaya mengevaluasi dampak penggunaan media flash card terhadap keterampilan membaca siswa kelas II di SDN Tegal Cabe, Kota Cilegon. Riset didasari oleh permasalahan rendahnya keterampilan membaca pada tingkat dasar, yang disebabkan oleh kurangnya motivasi dan metode pembelajaran yang kurang menarik. Eksperimen menjadi cara bedah dengan desain pre-test post-test control group. Terdiri dari dua kelompok kelas sebagai sampel, yakni kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan media flash card dan kelompok kontrol yang menggunakan kartu kata tanpa gambar, masing-masing terdiri dari 15 siswa. Hasil riset mengungkap adanya peningkatan keterampilan membaca yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol, dengan nilai rata-rata post-test kelompok eksperimen mencapai 82,33, sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya 66,00. Analisis statistik dengan uji-t mengungkapkan bahwa nilai t-hitung (2,240) melebihi t-tabel (1,701) pada taraf signifikansi 95%, sehingga hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan media flash card terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa. Kesimpulannya, media flash card merupakan alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca di tingkat sekolah dasar, dan perlu dilakukan pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam metode pengajaran yang inovatif.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) at SDIT LAA TAHZAN CITRA, Tangerang City. The research procedure used is a qualitative procedure with descriptive presentation of the information. This information gathering method uses interviews, observation and documentation. Sources for collecting this information were obtained from sources/informants as well as from research sites. The results of this research were quite well carried out and neatly arranged. Abstract

School Based Management (MBS) is an effort to open up opportunities and opportunities to improve and increase the quality of education, how education management can be reorganized to be more more effective and efficient based on the characteristics of each region. This research aims to study it authentically, emphasizing a holistic understanding of the management concept of improving the quality of education through MBS. Using a descriptive method, a literature review type of study. Data comes from nine scientific articles published in 2024, and nationally accredited. (content analysis) is used as a method of analyzing the data result obtained by researchers. Three steps are used in the data validity testing process, namely: trustworthiness, transferability, and research dependence on the data obtained. The result of the article review found that the MBS program has the potential to improve the quality of education, through activities: school principal training as a development effort, teacher participation, and community/school committee involvement in quality school programs, the preparation of: (RIPS) School Development Master Plan, (RAPBS) Plan School Revenue and Expenditure Budget, School self-evaluation and supervision of the school principal as an effort to optimize the strategic role and independence of the school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the speed reading skills and comprehension of fourth grade students at Karang Tengah 12 Public Elementary School, Tangerang City. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students at Karang Tengah 12 Public Elementary School, Tangerang City. The results of this study indicate that almost all students' speed reading skills and comprehension are good, but there are some students whose reading skills are still lacking, namely in reading fluency, reading intonation, sentence use, punctuality, confidence, not being able to read text correctly and clearly, answering questions related to the text, explaining the meaning contained in the reading, interpreting difficult words in the reading text and transcribe information in reading.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca pemahaman merupakan keterampilan fundamental yang mendukung keberhasilan belajar siswa, namun kenyataannya, banyak siswa sekolah dasar masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami isi bacaan secara menyeluruh. Tujuan riset ini untuk melihat pengaruh strategi Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas V SD Negeri Cipaot Kota Cilegon. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) yang melibatkan dua kelas sebagai sampel: kelas eksperimen yang diterapkan strategi DRTA dan kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan metode konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai rata-rata post-test yang lebih tinggi pada kelompok eksperimen. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa strategi DRTA efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan memahami bacaan, khususnya teks fabel. Penggunaan media gambar sebagai pendukung strategi juga terbukti membantu siswa dalam membangun pemahaman yang lebih mendalam. Temuan ini merekomendasikan penerapan strategi DRTA dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di tingkat sekolah dasar sebagai upaya meningkatkan literasi siswa secara aktif dan bermakna. The Influence of the Directed Reading Thinking Activity Strategy on the Learning Outcomes of Fifth Grade Elementary School Students Reading comprehension is a fundamental skill essential for academic success, yet many elementary students still struggle to fully understand reading materials. This study aims to investigate the effect of the Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) strategy on the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Cipaot, Cilegon City. Using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, the research involved two sample groups: an experimental class using the DRTA strategy and a control class using conventional methods. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests and analyzed using a t-test. The results indicate a significant difference in students’ learning outcomes, with the experimental group achieving a higher average post-test score. These findings demonstrate that the DRTA strategy effectively enhances students' comprehension abilities, particularly in understanding fable texts. The integration of visual media further supported students in constructing deeper meaning from texts. The study recommends the implementation of DRTA as an instructional strategy in elementary Indonesian language learning to promote active and meaningful literacy development.

Abstract

The present study investigates the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SDN Cimone 1. It uses a qualitative descriptive approach, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The school's efforts face various challenges, including the readiness of teachers and principals to carry out the programme. The Merdeka Curriculum emphasises flexibility, independence, and character development, making learning more relevant, adaptable, and enjoyable for students. The study's findings indicate that implementing this curriculum depends on active teaching, available resources, and the diverse learning needs of students. Teachers need to be more creative and adaptable in managing project-based learning, while students respond positively as they feel freer to express their interests and talents. Challenges include limited facilities, uneven teacher readiness, and students adapting to new and innovative teaching methods. Strengthening teacher training, acquiring facilities, and fostering greater collaboration between schools and stakeholders are essential to ensure the curriculum’s effective implementation and to produce a positive impact on the overall learning experience in elementary schools.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is a structured and diverse classroom-based curriculum designed to be user-friendly for both teachers and students. In its implementation, the government grants schools full authority and responsibility to develop a curriculum that aligns with their specific needs and local cultures. However, due to insufficient training, teachers often feel unprepared to implement the Merdeka Curriculum effectively. This study aims to examine how the Merdeka Curriculum is enacted at SDN Pakulonan 01, South Tangerang City, identify the challenges faced by teachers during implementation, and explore potential solutions. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, collecting data through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The data was analysed using descriptive methods. Findings indicate that teachers encounter difficulties in three key areas: lesson planning, lesson delivery, and assessment. Challenges include adapting learning tools and methods for teaching modules, executing differentiated and project-based learning, limited infrastructure, and constraints in both formative and summative assessments. These findings offer recommendations for enhancing teacher training programmes and improving facilities.

Abstract

Moral degradation among students is a crucial issue in education, demanding the implementation of a character-oriented curriculum, as embodied in the “Curriculum Merdeka” with a focus on the Pancasila Student Profile (P5). This article aims to examine in-depth the implementation of the Curriculum Merdeka in one of the pioneering schools, SDN 12 Karang Tengah. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation analysis. The implementation of the curriculum in this school is analyzed based on four stages: preparation, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and is linked to the three dimensions of Thomas Lickona's moral character: moral knowing, moral loving, and moral doing. The results show that the implementation of P5 is generally effective, although it still faces obstacles, especially related to limited supporting facilities. The main limitation of this study is the scope of the study which only focuses on one school in a specific area, so generalization of the findings needs to be done carefully.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan dalam efektivitas antara model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen dengan metode Quasi Eksperimental, khususnya pada pola non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas IV A dan 30 siswa kelas IV B di SDN Sangiang III. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua model pembelajaran, yaitu Problem Based Learning dan Problem Solving, efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV dalam mata pelajaran matematika. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan skor pretest dan posttest pada masing-masing kelompok eksperimen. Rata-rata skor posttest pada kelompok eksperimen 1 yang menggunakan model PBL lebih tinggi, dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,63 (kategori sedang), dibandingkan dengan kelompok eksperimen 2 yang menggunakan model Problem Solving, yang memperoleh nilai N-Gain 0,49 (kategori sedang). Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model PBL lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Wawancara siswa juga mendukung temuan ini, di mana mereka menyatakan bahwa model PBL lebih mudah dipahami, lebih menyenangkan, serta melibatkan kerja sama antar siswa, sementara model Problem Solving dianggap lebih rumit dan cenderung membuat siswa menjadi pasif. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terbukti lebih efektif dan lebih disukai oleh siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dibandingkan dengan model Problem Solving.
