Abstract

This study discusses the optimization of the role of Production Assistants (PAs) in improving the production efficiency of the "Food Diary" program on iNews. Although the PA position is often considered an entry-level position, this role is actually very crucial. Although PAs are not fully responsible for the entire program production, PAs hold significant responsibility in maintaining the smooth running of the television production process. The issues examined in this study include the role of PAs from the pre-production to post-production stages, as well as the extent of PAs' contribution to improving the production efficiency of the "Food Diary" program on iNews. The purpose of this study is to determine the real contribution of PAs to production efficiency and understand strategies for optimizing their role in television program production activities. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results show that PAs are actively involved in all stages of production, from ensuring the readiness of equipment and logistics during pre-production, maintaining technical smoothness and crew coordination during production, to assisting in the editing process, searching for graphic materials, adding background sound, and finalizing the final broadcast during the post-production stage. Optimizing the role of a PA can be achieved by improving communication skills, time management, and technical knowledge in production. PAs significantly contribute to increasing production efficiency, both in terms of time, inter-team coordination, and technical smoothness in the field.

Abstract

One of the main obstacles faced by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Rejoagung Village is the lack of halal certification. Although halal certification is a mandatory requirement for all food products circulating in Indonesia, many Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in this village do not understand the importance of halal certification and have not taken care of it. In fact, halal certification not only guarantees the halalness of the product, but can also increase consumer confidence and open up wider market opportunities. To overcome this problem, efforts are needed to increase awareness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises about the importance of halal certification. Through the community service program, it is hoped that it can provide socialization and assistance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises so that they are motivated to take care of the halal certification of their products. Finally, at the end of the service, ten halal certificates were successfully issued for Business Actors who are partners of Sekolah Kopi Raisa. Thus, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Rejoagung Village can develop further and make a greater contribution to the village economy.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the forms of intercultural communication carried out by ethnic Minang students in facing culture shock in Bogor. Students who come from outside the region experience the phenomenon of culture shock which causes anxiety and tension. This is a result of the differences between the culture in the area of ​​origin and the place of origin. The research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews. There were five informants consisting of ethnic Minang students who experienced culture shock when they moved to Bogor. Data analysis is based on Miles and Huberman's theory, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Minang students have diverse forms of intercultural communication, including the use of verbal, non-verbal communication, and cultural adaptation strategies. Intercultural communication is implemented to deal with the phenomenon of culture shock.

Abstract

This article examines the relevance of Max Weber’s work ethic in contemporary capitalism, focusing on the transformation of work values in the digital and globalization era. In The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism, Weber argues that modern capitalism developed from the internalization of Protestant religious values, which emphasize discipline, rationality, and efficiency in work. This article examines how the work ethic, which initially supported industrial capitalism, has undergone significant transformations amid the gig economy and flexible work arrangements. Using a qualitative, discursive approach, this article also identifies a shift in the work paradigm, from a high-productivity orientation to a search for work-life balance and individual well-being. Furthermore, this article analyzes the phenomena of burnout and capitalist expectations of workers, as well as alternative movements such as slow work and the post-work society, which offer resistance to an increasingly exploitative work system. In conclusion, although Weber predicted that capitalism would lead to an “iron cage” of rationality, the contemporary world shows the potential to build more balanced and humane working relationships by adapting the spirit of capitalism to the social needs and welfare of workers

Abstract

Potensi zakat nasional di Indonesia sangat besar, dengan estimasi mencapai Rp 327,6 triliun per tahun. Namun, realisasi pengumpulan zakat masih jauh dari angka tersebut. Kesenjangan ini disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, antara lain rendahnya kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap lembaga zakat, literasi zakat yang masih minim, dan penggunaan sistem manual dalam pengelolaan zakat. Untuk menjawab tantangan ini, digitalisasi menjadi solusi strategis yang semakin diterapkan oleh lembaga zakat seperti BAZNAS dan Rumah Zakat. Inovasi digital seperti aplikasi mobile, sistem pembayaran elektronik, dashboard transparansi, serta eksplorasi teknologi blockchain dinilai mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan zakat. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi pustaka dan studi kasus untuk menyoroti bagaimana integrasi teknologi dapat mengoptimalkan pengelolaan zakat di Indonesia dan memperbesar dampak sosial-ekonominya. Fokus artikel ini diarahkan pada konteks daerah Kabupaten Lebak, Provinsi Banten, yang memiliki potensi zakat besar namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam hal digitalisasi dan literasi zakat di tingkat masyarakat.

Abstract

The increasing volume of waste in Indonesia poses environmental challenges, especially incinerator ash residues that contain heavy metals and have the potential to contaminate soil. This study aimed to evaluate the utilization of incinerator ash combined with deer dung as an alternative growing medium for ornamental betel nut (Epipremnum aureum). Four treatments of growing media composition were tested: pure soil, ash and dung mixture in different ratios, and observed for eight weeks on the parameters of plant length, leaf area, and plant weight. Results showed that the treatment without ash mixture produced the best growth, while increasing the proportion of ash decreased plant growth performance. This is thought to be due to the heavy metal content in the ash which inhibits plant metabolism and nutrient uptake. Although the plants survived in all treatments, the effectiveness of the ash and deer manure mixture as a growing medium proved to be limited, so its use should be limited and not recommended for consumption crops. The potential utilization of ash is more appropriately directed towards non-agricultural sectors that do not come into direct contact with living things.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan fungsi tindak tutur illokusioner yang disampaikan penutur kepada lawan tutur dalam interaksi, ditinjau dari perspektif pragmatik khususnya tindak tutur illokusioner. Pendekatan kualitatif dipilih karena data penelitian berupa percakapan antarkarakter dalam bentuk dialog. Sumber data penelitian adalah film Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck yang disutradarai oleh Sunil Soraya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan pencatatan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode padanan. Temuan mengenai fungsi tutur dianalisis berdasarkan teori Leech. Menurut Leech, tindak tutur illokusioner dibagi menjadi empat tipe yang dijadikan data, berjumlah 38 potong data. Ke-39  data tersebut terklasifikasi menjadi 5 data kompetitif, 5 konvivial, 14 kolaboratif, dan 5 konfliktif. Selain itu, film Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck mengajarkan bahwa cinta sejati melampaui batas agama, ras, dan budaya. Namun, dalam mengejar cinta, seseorang tetap harus menjunjung nilai-nilai baik dalam hidup serta menjaga kehormatan diri dan keluarga.

Abstract

This study examines the operational management of digital fraud report classification on CekRekening.id, a national verification platform administered by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics of Indonesia to enhance online transaction security. The research addresses a clear gap in existing literature, as no prior study has provided an insider, process-level description of how fraud reports are screened, verified, and coordinated with banks through direct participant observation within a government digital service. The objective of this study is to explain the end-to-end workflow of fraud report management and identify key challenges that influence system effectiveness and public adoption. The research employed a qualitative participant-observation method during a three-month internship, supported by informal interviews and documentation review conducted within the institutional verification team. Data were grouped into thematic categories to capture procedures, operational constraints, and user behavior patterns that shaped daily verification work. The findings demonstrate that the platform follows a multi-stage workflow comprising submission, initial screening, verification, bank coordination, and publication, while also revealing critical constraints such as low digital literacy, interface ambiguity, limited staffing, and system performance inconsistencies. These findings highlight gaps between the platform’s technical design and real-world operational demands. The study recommends strengthening digital literacy initiatives, enhancing interface clarity, improving system reliability, and expanding inter-institutional collaboration. Overall, this research contributes a unique operational perspective that can guide future improvements in national digital transaction security.

Abstract

This study examines the Public Relations strategy of the Center for Agricultural Modernization Development and Application (BBPPMP) in strengthening institutional image through the development program in Sukaresmi Village. The research is grounded in the Strategic Digital Public Relations (SDPR) theory, which emphasizes technology-based communication, data-driven decision-making, and two-way digital engagement. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observation, interviews, participation, and literature review to explore the communication processes implemented throughout the program. The findings show that BBPPMP successfully applied the three pillars of SDPR by integrating digital media for program dissemination, utilizing field data to design communication strategies, and fostering dialogic engagement with village stakeholders and local MSME actors. These efforts contributed to improving community understanding, participation, and perception of the institution. However, challenges emerged, including low digital literacy, limited technological infrastructure, and varying levels of community readiness in adopting digital-based communication. Despite these obstacles, the overall implementation of the PR strategy proved effective in supporting institutional image-building and strengthening collaborative relationships with the community.

Abstract

Masyarakat desa Jungkal Kecamatan Pampangan kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir merupakan masyarakat yang penghasilan mayoritas sebagai nelayan. Selain nelayan, masyarakat desa Jungkal sebagai petani karet, ternak kerbau, ternak kambing, ternak ayam, ternak sapi dan pedagang. Masyarakat tersebut untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari- hari mengandalkan ikan baik di jual atau di konsumsi. Ikan yang dikonsumsi merupakan ikan yang memiliki nilai jual yang rendah sedangkan nilai jual yang tinggi mereka jual. Setiap  hari masyarakat mengkonsumsi hanya ikan yang di dapat dari sungai. Masyarakat desa tersebut jarang sekali memakan sayuran untuk dikonsumsi. Sayur-sayuran di konsumsi pada hari-hari tertentu dan jarang sekali dikonsumsi setiap hari. Hal ini dikarenakan masyarakat desa tersebut hanya beli pada pasar besar di kecamatan. Akan tetapi, ada masyarakat yang tidak terbiasa mengkonsumsi sayuran baik sebagai lauk maupun sebagai lalapan. Sehingga perlu dilakukan kegiatan penanaman sayuran pada lahan-lahan di perkarangan rumah. Sayuran-sayuran sebelum ditanam, dilakukan penyuluhan terlebih dahulu cara budidaya tanaman sayuran. Proses penanam ini melibatkan masyarakat secara langsung. Penyuluhan mengenai bagaimana menanam sayuran skala rumah tangga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari. Penyuluhan tentang bagaimana pengendalian organisme pengganggu tanaman yang ramah lingkungan. Selain itu, sayuran-sayuran yang ditanam bisa menambah vitamin dan mineral ke dalam tubuh masyarakat. Masyarakat di desa Jungkal sangat senang mengikut semua rangkai kegiatan sosialisasi budidaya sayuran dan pengendalian yang ramah lingkungan. Berdasarkan hasil masyarakat mulai menyadari perlu sayuran untuk dikonsumsi. Budidaya sayuran sudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat, akan tetapi masih terpaku beberapa komoditi sayuran, seperti cabai, terung, kangkong, bayam dan sawi. Proses pendampingan terhadap masyarakat terus dilakukan untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang mampu mandiri pangan. Kata Kunci: Hama, penyakit, pengendalian,  sayuran dan daun sirsak
