Abstract

Researchers want to investigate the extent to which design, product quality and branding play a role in improving purchasing decisions. The sampling technique was saturated, with 107 respondents covering the entire population. Data collection techniques through questionnaires and literature study. The analytical method used is multiple regression, which includes: validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, determination test, partial test. The results showed that the design partially had an effect of 4.096 > 1.983 from the t table, which was 0.00 less than 0.05 alpha. While the quality of the product partially affects 0.096 < 1.983 of the t table, 0.360 is greater than alpha 0.05. While the sign has a partial effect of 4.212 > 1.983 from t table, 0.00 is smaller than alpha 0.05. Alpha 0.05. And the significance value of the concurrent test. The results of purchasing decisions and the R2 test showed an effect of 83.8%. The results showed that design, product quality and branding had a significant influence.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Customer loyalty is very important for company's survival in a competitive market. Therefore, all entities must know the factors that affect customer loyalty. Customer loyalty is the client's loyalty to the goods and services offered by the seller/company. The company views customer loyalty as important because customer loyalty is capable of advocating all the benefits in the form of being able to maintain long-term relationships with clients, creating a positive image from customers (positive word of mouth) and generating repeat purchases from customers. This study uses quantitative research methods, with a population of all customers of PT Wellindo Blast Media in Batam. The sampling technique in this study uses the Incidental Sampling technique and the sample taken during 2021 is 100 customers of PT Wellindo Blast Media. This study uses the SPSS version 25.0 program to get research results. The results showed that product quality and promotion had an effect on customer loyalty. Although service quality has no effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

Market changes make entrepreneurs continue to adapt and monitor today's business competition. The company's key in marketing goods or services is to determine a good or appropriate strategy in facing the competition in the market. Service quality is also a factor that determines the company's success. Because if the quality of service provided to consumers can be well received or in other words in accordance with the expectations of these consumers, the consumers will feel trust and satisfied and will become loyal customers of the company. Trust is also one of the factors that can win the competition in the company. Confidence can also add positive value, whether it's one party's belief in resilience, reliability or another. If the company can make customers feel satisfied, it can create customer loyalty to the company. This research has a comparative causal research type, with a total population of 122 customers. Then the sample size technique uses non-probability sampling where the number of samples is the same as the population. This research shows that service quality, trust and customer satisfaction have a coefficient of determination of 82.5% on customer loyalty at PT Lubricant Indo Makmur.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the characters of the charaters in the short story collection Tiger Compass 2020 by using a psychological dimension approach. This type of research is qualitative, this research method is descriptive using an objective approach. The data collection techniques used are reading and recording. The data analysis technique used is content analysis technique. The results of this study obtained a variety of character traits using psychic or psychological charater dimensions. The characters in the short story collection are, (1) kindness, (2) brave, (3) philanthrope, (4) empathy, (5) honesty, (6) cruelty, (7) independent, (8) responsibility, (9) patience, (10) politeness.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the forms of icons, indices and symbols in the mappacci tradition mantra found in Lubuk Village, Tanjungbatu, Kundur, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands. The object of this research is the mantra in the mappacci tradition of Lubuk Village, Tanjungbatu Kundur, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands, which was obtained from informants. This research method is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews and recording. Data analysis techniques are carried out using data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of data analysis obtained from Cultural Semiotic Analysis in the Mappacci Tradition, Wedding Customs of the Bugis Tribe of Tanjungbatu, Kundur, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands, namely the Mappacci tradition mantra, found the use of semiotics such as icons, indexes and symbols.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan makna semiotik ungkapan tabu di Kelurahan Sekanak Raya, Kecamatan Belakang Padang, Kecamatan Tanjung Sari, Kota Batam. Objek penelitian berupa tabu-tabu di Kelurahan Sekanak Raya yang dihimpun dari informan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis semiotik tabu-tabu di Kelurahan Sekanak Raya, Kecamatan Belakang Padang, Kecamatan Tanjung Sari, Kota Batam menemukan beberapa temuan. Untuk tabu yang berkaitan dengan ibu hamil terdapat 15 ikon, 12 indeks, dan 15 simbol. Ungkapan tabu yang berkaitan dengan tuturan terdapat 1 ikon, 4 indeks, dan 4 simbol. Untuk tabu yang menyangkut mata pencaharian terdapat 1 ikon, 2 indeks, dan tidak ada simbol. Tabu di laut terdapat 3 ikon, 11 indeks, dan 15 simbol. Pantangan yang berkaitan dengan perempuan meliputi 4 indeks dan 6 simbol. Terakhir, ada dua pantangan unik di daerah Padang Belakang, yaitu tidak membawa makanan dalam bentuk rantai dan tidak mengucapkan sumpah yang menyatakan tidak akan pernah menginjakkan kaki di tanah Padang Belakang lagi.

Abstract

21st century learning, including learning Indonesian requires students to think critically and creatively. The ministry's policy regarding text-based learning of Indonesian illustrates that currently learning Indonesian is not just at the level of remembering but has reached the level of creating. In line with this policy, this study aims to describe the implementation of e-module-assisted debate text learning at SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta. Descriptive research with a qualitative approach. A descriptive research design is used to describe the implementation of e-module assisted learning in debate texts in accordance with 21st century policies on the independent curriculum. The results of the study show that teaching debate texts using companion teaching materials such as e-modules is considered to be able to improve students' ability to think critically.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dirancang untuk menggali sejauh mana komunikasi kerja, motivasi, dan lingkungan kerja memengaruhi kinerja karyawan di PT Casco Sea Batam. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berjenis deskriptif, studi ini melibatkan 133 pekerja sebagai populasi yang dianalisis secara menyeluruh melalui metode sampling jenuh. Tahapan analisis mencakup pengujian integritas data, verifikasi asumsi klasik, regresi linier berganda, dan pengujian hipotesis. Berdasarkan temuan, komunikasi kerja berkontribusi sebesar 21,8% terhadap kinerja karyawan, motivasi sebesar 36,1%, dan lingkungan kerja memberikan andil hingga 21,2%. Ketiga variabel ini secara kolektif menjelaskan 75,4% variabilitas kinerja karyawan, sebagaimana dibuktikan oleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil uji t dan F menegaskan bahwa komunikasi kerja yang efektif, motivasi yang dirancang dengan strategi, dan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja individu. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi esensi dari penyelarasan komunikasi, pemberdayaan motivasi, dan penyediaan ruang kerja yang kondusif sebagai pondasi untuk memaksimalkan potensi kinerja karyawan

Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a tool in compiling learning materials in schools has great potential to improve the quality of education, especially in border areas that are often faced with challenges of accessibility and availability of resources. This community service activity aims to fulfill the Tri Dharma of Higher Education by providing contributions to the community while assisting teachers in utilizing AI tools. Through a preliminary study, a needs mapping was carried out together with teachers of SDN 03 Balai Karangan to ensure that the development of AI tools is relevant to learning needs on the West Kalimantan border. The development of this AI tools integrates natural language processing technology to produce learning materials that are in accordance with the curriculum and local characteristics. After development, the AI ??tools is disseminated and practiced in the school environment. It is hoped that through this activity, teachers at SDN 03 Balai Karangan on the West Kalimantan border will be better able to compile quality and relevant learning materials with the help of AI tools, can improve the quality of education and provide real benefits to local students.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a strategic government policy in an effort to tackle stunting, improve the nutrition of school-age children, and encourage equitable welfare. This study aims to describe the pilot implementation of the MBG program at SMP Negeri 4 Tangerang and evaluate its impact on students. Using a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results show that the program is running well thanks to the cooperation between the school, government, and food providers. The positive impact can be seen from the increased learning focus, student health, and active participation of parents. In addition, the program also helped shape healthy eating habits among students. However, the sustainability of the program still faces challenges related to budget and long-term policies. Therefore, regular evaluation and expansion of program coverage to 3T areas are needed to ensure long-term success.
