Abstract

Acne is one of the problems that often attacks young people with the result of impaired appearance and self-confidence in social relationships. Acne treatment itself becomes very difficult due to various factors that play a role together and are difficult to control. The new paradigm of pathophysiology or the course of acne has begun to be studied and researched in order to find types of drugs, either singly or in combination to provide the best outcome, and minimize the possibility of recurrence. Various drugs that have been circulating now are in the form of tretinoin, antibiotics, steroids, etc. Of the various types of drugs that are circulating and become the main choice for acne vulgaris treatment, there is a combination type that is considered quite optimal in the treatment of acne vulgaris in accordance with the new pathophysiological paradigm of acne vulgaris. This study discusses the elaboration of clinical evidence for the use of tretinoin, clindamycin, and dexamethasone as the main choice of topical therapy which together (combination) are used for the treatment of acne vulgaris. From the results of the literature search, it is known that the use of tretinoin, either alone or in combination, has good results in the treatment of acne vulgaris, but the use of combination with antibiotics such as clindamycin will increase the effectiveness of acne vulgaris treatment. On the other hand, this combination can reduce the possibility of antibiotic resistance. Clinical Practice Guidelines in Indonesia for the treatment of severe acne vulgaris, still adhere to the use of intralesional steroids. It is known that the use of intralesional steroids will have an impact on various side effects. Topical use of dexamethasone is considered quite wise because of its almost zero systematic effect, excellent local effect, and good effectiveness. At the end of the literature search, it is known that the combination cream of Tretinoin, Clindamycin, and Topical Dexamethasone for the Treatment of Acne Vulgaris is considered quite effective in terms of clinical, scientific evidence, and modern pathophysiology.

Abstract

Since the end of 2019 the world has been shocked by the emergence of the COVID- 19 virus, which spreads very quickly. Starting from the country of origin, namely the People's Republic of China, until in early March, Indonesia announced two positive cases of COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic is a threat to the Indonesian state. Various efforts have been made by the government to prevent and control the spread of this virus, ranging from restricting activities, maintaining distance, using masks, washing hands to developing vaccines. This effort is being carried out by the government as a form of state defense in fighting COVID-19. This research proves that COVID-19 is a social disaster that afflicts all walks of life, one of the methods for overcoming the Covid-19 outbreak by involving itself in the vaccination program organized by the authorities as a form of state defense.

Abstract

Abstract

For all countries and communities, including Indonesia, globalization is both a threat and an opportunity. Globalization is like a double-edged sword, and the very rapid development of information and communication technology is one of the greatest elements of globalization. Pancasila is a legacy of ancestral noble values extracted from the cultural values of the people of Indonesia. Cultural axiology and the principles of Pancasila are the noble values of Pancasila that can be used as a reference in the life of the nation and state. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the application of Pancasila as the actualization of State defense was very important, particularly with regard to the culture of literacy in order to suppress hoaxes. This study is a literature review that examines the Covid-19 pandemic as a social disaster, the attitude of defending the State, the actualization of Pancasila, the two sides of State security, and the attitude of defending the State during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of making this paper is to increase awareness in defending the public's state regarding the importance of literacy during the Covid-19 period. This work is based on a literature review. The literature search took place from January 1, 2021, to January 7, 2021. This study involves qualitative research, in which three types of approaches, namely: legal, conceptual, and analytical approaches, will examine in part all the materials and literature collected during the research period. The findings of this study show that covid-19 is a social disaster that attacks all aspects of human life, and one way for society to overcome the pandemic of Covid-19 is to defend the state and update the values of Pancasila in social life. In addition, one of the cultures that can be used to ward off non-military threats is Pancasila and the attitude of defending the state.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a very serious problem in 2020, claiming millions of lives. One issue is the rapid spread rate and the large number of infected groups without clinical symptoms and has the potential to become a source of spread for other people. One way to prevent the spread of covid-19 is disciplined awareness of conducting self-isolation for infected groups. This research discusses self-isolation awareness as a form of state defense during Covid-19. This research is a literature review study that uses 3 types of approaches to discuss social issues, namely status approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. The results of this study reveal that we are only urged to stop the spread of this virus, with government appeals, by participating in defending the country without taking up arms, we can fulfill our role as good citizens. As described above, State defense is adjusted to current community conditions, e.g. in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. At this time, state defense updating is not just staying at home, but still productive with our home system work as usual. The government has issued various policies, including studying at home, working from home, and praying at home. Following the government's recommendation is actually a form of state defense to defend the country as a form of our love for Indonesia

Abstract

Civil Law is a provision that regulates the rights and interests of individuals in society. The history of the development of civil Law in Indonesia cannot be separated from the history of legal science development in other European countries. Law in Indonesia is a mixture of European legal systems, religious Law, and customary law. Most of the systems adopted, both civil and criminal, are based on continental European Law. This study uses a research methodology that reviews normative juridical studies conducted by synthesizing deductive conclusions from statements in data sources such as library materials including journals, books, documents, and literature or secondary Law such as laws, legal theory, court decisions, relevant expert opinion and related to the discussion in this journal. This research is an analytical prescriptive that synthesizes data, analyzes, and concludes qualitatively. Civil Law in Indonesia comes from the Dutch language, namely Burgerlijk Recht, derived from the Burgerlijk Wetboek (B.W), which in Indonesia is known as the Civil Code (KUH Perdata). Civil Law in Indonesia is somewhat different from the civil Law that applies in the Netherlands. Burgelijk Wetboek's systematics consists of Van Personen, Van Zaken, Van Verbintenissen, Van Bewijaeu Veryaring.

Abstract

The hospital's legal responsibility to fulfill the patient's rights cannot be separated from the hospital's obligations to the patient, according to the law. In practice, the growing number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia has resulted in hospitals being unable to accommodate patients in need of treatment, particularly those with severe and critical conditions who require intensive care units. With bed occupancy rates (BOR) exceeding 85 percent in almost all hospitals, the community must understand that hospitals must prioritize care for patients with moderate, severe, or life-threatening conditions. In any case, the COVID-19 pandemic had an effect on the quality of hospital care provided to patients. The study used normative juridical research methods and empirical evidence to examine hospitals' legal responsibility for upholding patient rights during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study's findings indicate that, despite limitations in providing excellent health care to patients, hospitals must uphold patient rights to safety and security during hospitalization. As a result, it is necessary to establish a legal framework that protects the rights of health care workers and hospitals providing services to patients during this pandemic, particularly the protection of work standards, occupational health and safety standards, and labor social security standards. In terms of facilities and infrastructure, the government must assist by increasing the number of emergency hospitals to accommodate the anticipated increase in COVID-19 patients.

Abstract

Hypertension is defines as elevated blood pressure in adult, where systolic above 140 mmHg and diastolic above 90 mmHg. Blood pressure classification can be divided into: optimal, normal, normal- high, hypertension grade 1, hypertension grade 2, and hypertension grade 3. Hypertension, especially primary hypertension can be caused by several factors, one of them is sleep duration. This study includes 352 subjects which are suitable to the inclusion criteria with cross sectional method in several factories and offices in Medan, August 2014. This study will be analyzed with Kruskal Wallis, followed by Post Hoc Mann Whitney. The result is short sleep duration (less than 6 hours) is associated with elevated hypertension incidence (p- value < 0,001), where there are significant differences in several groups such as, optimal with hypertension grade 1 (p- value = 0,001); optimal with hypertension grade  2 (p-value : 0,003); optimal with hypertension grade 3 (p-value : 0,027), normal with hypertension grade 1 (p-value : 0,002), normal with hypertension grade 2 (p-value : 0,003), normal with hypertension grade 3 (p-value : 0,003), normal- high with hypertension grade 1 (p-value : 0,028), normal- high with hypertension grade 2 (p-value : 0,012), and normal- high with hypertension grade 3 (p-value : 0,023). Conclusions of the study is there is an effect between sleep duration and hypertension incidence.

Abstract

COVID-19 has become one of the problems that attacks all elements of national and state life. The effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic are not only related to health, but also attack the social aspects and resilience of a country. It is not surprising that the COVID-19 Pandemic can be classified as a non-military threat to a nation. This paper discusses the role of society through attitudes towards State defense such as Following Health Protocols (Keeping Distance, Washing Hands and Wearing Masks) as a Form of State Defense in the Era of COVID-19. This research is a literature review study that discusses social issues using 3 types of approaches, namely the statute approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. The results of this study reveal that we need to adjust to new behaviors in order to be healthier, safer, and more compliant. We need to use all tools available to motivate citizens. The role of the community in breaking the chain of transmission of the disease COVID-19 (risk of contracting and transmission) must be carried out by implementing a number of health protocols. The conclusion of this study is that COVID-19 has become a very big problem for all countries, forcing the security of the state. Abstract

The rules of action are a reflection of the life characteristics of a class of people. Regulations that are timeless and firmly integrated with the citizens' behavior can increase their binding power. As a result, they become customs. In a tradition, there are various rules of the tongue, listed as customary law. Routine or habit is a term commonly used in people's lives. The existence of customary law has been legally recognized by the Indonesian authorities, approved by all Indonesian citizens as one of the legal rules. The citizens can lawfully use it on the side of the authorities' use of laws and regulations. Customary law reflects something Indonesian personality as if the result has been claimed to be like original Indonesian law. As if the law is not recorded, currently, the presence of customary law is being questioned. It has been estimated as conventional, outlandish, ancient primitive, ancient compared to the citizens' modern progress. Some people think that customary law is incapable of solving cases during a period.
