Abstract

COVID-19 has become one of the problems that attacks all elements of national and state life. The effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic are not only related to health, but also attack the social aspects and resilience of a country. It is not surprising that the COVID-19 Pandemic can be classified as a non-military threat to a nation. This paper discusses the role of society through attitudes towards State defense such as Following Health Protocols (Keeping Distance, Washing Hands and Wearing Masks) as a Form of State Defense in the Era of COVID-19. This research is a literature review study that discusses social issues using 3 types of approaches, namely the statute approach, conceptual approach, and case approach. The results of this study reveal that we need to adjust to new behaviors in order to be healthier, safer, and more compliant. We need to use all tools available to motivate citizens. The role of the community in breaking the chain of transmission of the disease COVID-19 (risk of contracting and transmission) must be carried out by implementing a number of health protocols. The conclusion of this study is that COVID-19 has become a very big problem for all countries, forcing the security of the state. The main thing the community can do to combat a disease is with the Following Health Protocols such as Keeping Distance, Washing Hands and Wearing Masks.

Abstract

The rules of action are a reflection of the life characteristics of a class of people. Regulations that are timeless and firmly integrated with the citizens' behavior can increase their binding power. As a result, they become customs. In a tradition, there are various rules of the tongue, listed as customary law. Routine or habit is a term commonly used in people's lives. The existence of customary law has been legally recognized by the Indonesian authorities, approved by all Indonesian citizens as one of the legal rules. The citizens can lawfully use it on the side of the authorities' use of laws and regulations. Customary law reflects something Indonesian personality as if the result has been claimed to be like original Indonesian law. As if the law is not recorded, currently, the presence of customary law is being questioned. It has been estimated as conventional, outlandish, ancient primitive, ancient compared to the citizens' modern progress. Some people think that customary law is incapable of solving cases during a period.

Abstract

Scabies is a highly contagious infection that falls under the category of neglected diseases. If not treated as soon as possible, scabies rapidly spreads throughout a community, causing significant distress for those affected. In a more advanced stage, scabies can lead to malnutrition in children and threaten their growth and development. Obviously, scabies can impair the quality of life of adult patients. In addition to screening and diagnosis as early as possible to prevent secondary and tertiary infections, education regarding the prevention and complete treatment of scabies is crucial. This community service therefore focuses comprehensively on educating the public about the introduction and prevention of scabies transmission, in addition to screening for scabies by doctors and examination of secondary infections by performing gram examinations, screening for growth disorders caused by scabies, and comprehensive treatment for not only sufferers, but also their families

Abstract

Hydration of the epidermis refers to the maintenance of the skin's natural moisture balance. This is accomplished by providing and sustaining an adequate level of moisture in the skin layer. Hydration of the skin is essential for sustaining healthy and beautiful skin, as well as preventing skin issues like dryness, redness, irritation, and premature aging. The Skin Hydration Counseling and Screening activities seek to prevent dry skin issues by educating the public on the significance of maintaining skin hydration. Through this activity, participants learned about the risk factors for dry skin, the significance of using the proper moisturizer, and how to keep the skin nourished. In addition, screenings are conducted to detect skin hydration issues early on and provide treatment recommendations. It is hoped that by increasing people's knowledge and understanding of skin hydration, they will adopt appropriate care practices and prevent dry skin from occurring. This activity contributes significantly to participants' improved skin health and quality of life.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 is essential in enhancing the body's defense against SARS-CoV-2 infection by increasing the level of Ig-G antibodies against SARS-CoV-2. Determining the relationship between the number of vaccines and the vaccination interval plays a role in the level of Ig-G antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 in the body to prevent primary infection from SARS-CoV-2. The assessment of cause-effect relationships is conducted through a cross-sectional study involving 76 subjects who met the inclusion criteria. The analysis performed includes descriptive analysis and analytical analysis to evaluate qualitative and quantitative data. In subjects who received a third dose of the vaccine, the Ig-G levels against SARS-CoV-2 were found to be higher compared to those who did not receive a third dose (p-value < 0.05). The levels of Ig-G against SARS-CoV-2 in the body are not consistently high, indicating the need for repeated vaccine administration every few months to maintain Ig-G levels (p-value < 0.05). This study demonstrates that the number of vaccinations plays a role in increasing the levels of Ig-G antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, thus aiding in the body's fight against SARS-CoV-2 infection. The vaccination interval is also an important factor to consider, as the Ig-G levels against SARS-CoV-2 may decline over time, necessitating repeated vaccinations to maintain Ig-G levels. Both the number of vaccinations and the vaccination interval are crucial in maintaining the levels of Ig-G antibodies against SARS-CoV-2, thus preventing primary SARS-CoV-2 infections.

Abstract

Counseling activities and waist circumference screening in the context of early detection of obesity in male students aim to increase awareness of the importance of maintaining health and preventing obesity among male students. This activity was carried out using a combination approach between counseling and waist circumference screening. The counseling was conducted to provide a better understanding of the risk of obesity and the importance of measuring waist circumference as an indicator of health. Boys were given information about the negative impact of obesity on physical and psychological health, as well as the importance of a healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet. In addition to counseling, this activity also involves screening waist circumference as a method for early detection of the risk of obesity. Boys' waist circumference was measured using a measuring tape, and the measurement results were compared with a predetermined reference standard. This helps identify students who are in the waist circumference range who are at risk and require further follow-up in obesity prevention and management. The results of this activity show that male students need to understand the importance of maintaining health and managing their weight well. Waist circumference screening provides useful information in evaluating the risk of obesity in male students. In efforts to prevent and control obesity, collaboration between families, educators and medical personnel is very important to provide the necessary support, understanding and guidance
