Abstract

Semarang City is where the pluralist Islamic teachings of two leading religious organizations in Indonesia, Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), grow with their ideologies. What are the differences in interpreting social behaviour and the lifestyle of Muhammadiyah and NU youth in Semarang? The study used a qualitative phenomenological approach. According to Husserl (Creswell, 2009), phenomenological researchers reveal the basic meaning of invariant experiences and pressure on the intensity of consciousness. The study results show that the social interpretation of Muhammadiyah and NU youth regarding differences in social behaviour is correct and becomes a reference in everyday life. Differences in understanding of Fiqh between Muhammadiyah and NU youth are not obstacles to uniting society. NU youth can clash with NU youth, and Muhammadiyah youth can clash with Muhammadiyah youth because of differences in lifestyle.

In this case, this adjustment occurs in the managerial and learning fields. This problem will be resolved by the PKM team, with the principal being a member of the principal's working meeting.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation on employee productivity. Data were collected through a valid and reliable questionnaire, and the analysis results indicated that compensation has a positive and significant effect on productivity. Based on simple regression analysis, compensation accounts for 69.8% of the variance in employee productivity, with a regression coefficient of 0.712. These findings support the work motivation theory, which states that financial and non-financial rewards positively impact employee performance. This study recommends organizations implement fair and competitive compensation strategies, including financial and non-financial rewards, while fostering a supportive work environment. By doing so, organizations can enhance employee productivity and maintain competitiveness. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of loyalty and job satisfaction on employee performance and to analyze the mediating role of human resource training at CV Putra Mahkota. Using a quantitative explanatory design, all 65 employees were surveyed through questionnaires and the data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. The findings show that loyalty and job satisfaction positively and significantly affect both employee performance and human resource training, and that training itself significantly improves performance. However, human resource training does not mediate the effects of loyalty or job satisfaction on performance. These results imply that organizations should strengthen direct strategies to enhance employee loyalty and job satisfaction, while improving training programs to ensure they are more structured, continuous, and aligned with performance needs, offering valuable direction for future research and managerial practice.

Abstract

Serat Mbonang is a classical Javanese religious manuscript attributed to Sunan Bonang that contains teachings on theosophy, theology, kalam, and Sufism. Although previous studies have examined its doctrinal and metaphysical aspects, limited research has explored its axiological structure and its relevance for contemporary Islamic character education. This study aims to address this gap by analyzing the integration of divine and human values in Serat Mbonang through the lens of Islamic educational axiology. The research employs a qualitative descriptive design using library data. Primary data consist of the Serat Mbonang manuscript, while secondary data include scholarly works on Nusantara religious literature, Sufism, and Islamic educational philosophy. Data were analyzed through textual analysis, interpretative reading, and axiological categorization supported by hermeneutic interpretation. The findings show, first, that Serat Mbonang constructs a coherent value system in which tawhid, spiritual discipline, and ethical conduct are presented as mutually reinforcing principles. Second, the manuscript embeds character education through aesthetic and cultural expressions, demonstrating the pedagogical role of art in Walisongo traditions. Third, the text offers an integrated model of value formation that rejects the dichotomy between divine and human values. These findings imply that Serat Mbonang provides a culturally grounded framework for Islamic character education relevant to modern contexts. The study concludes by recommending the integration of local wisdom-based manuscripts into contemporary educational models to strengthen value-oriented learning.

Abstract

Sex education is an important issue in the field of education that is not only related to biological aspects but also involves ethical dimensions, values, and human dignity. In practice, sex education is often understood in a narrow sense or trapped in an extreme dichotomy between permissive and repressive approaches, thus failing to fully develop students’ moral awareness. This article aims to examine sex education within an ethical framework through a philosophical approach as a more comprehensive and meaningful alternative. This study employs a qualitative library research method by critically reviewing literature on ethical philosophy, philosophy of education, sex education, as well as classical and contemporary Islamic ethical studies. Data analysis is conducted conceptually and reflectively by examining the ontological, epistemological, and axiological dimensions of sex education. The findings indicate that sex education, from a philosophical-ethical perspective, should be understood as a process of forming holistic human beings that emphasizes responsible freedom, respect for human dignity, and the internalization of moral values. Furthermore, sex education plays a significant role as a means of developing students’ moral awareness in understanding and managing sexuality wisely. Therefore, the philosophical-ethical approach provides a conceptual foundation for formulating sex education that is not merely informative but also oriented toward moral and humanistic development.
