Abstract

Market capitalization reflects a company’s value from the perspective of investors and serves as an important indicator in assessing growth prospects and overall financial performance. This study aims to examine the effect of net income and net cash flow on market capitalization of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2023 period. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis based on secondary data derived from companies’ annual financial reports. The results indicate that net income has a positive and statistically significant effect on market capitalization, suggesting that higher profitability enhances investor confidence and increases firm value. In contrast, net cash flow shows a positive but statistically insignificant effect on market capitalization, indicating that cash flow information is not the primary consideration for investors in valuing firms during the observation period. Furthermore, the relatively low coefficient of determination suggests that market capitalization is influenced by other factors beyond the variables examined in this study. These findings highlight the importance of profitability as a key determinant of firm value in the capital market.

Abstract

Moral education in Islamic Religious Education at the secondary school level still tends to emphasize memorization and content mastery, causing students to understand values cognitively without consistently demonstrating them in daily behavior. This study examines the implementation of the Love Method in line with the Love-Based Curriculum, an educational approach that places compassion, respect for students’ dignity, psychological safety, and positive discipline at the center of learning, and its contribution to fostering students’ positive character at Public senior high school (SMAN) 5 Tanjungpinang. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of classroom practices in the school’s natural setting. The participants consisted of two Islamic Religious Education teachers, two homeroom teachers, one vice principal for student affairs, and fifteen students. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, narrative questionnaires, and document analysis, then analyzed thematically using source and technique triangulation. The findings show that the Love Method was implemented through empathy, courteous communication, positive reinforcement, role modeling, and relational restoration, which encouraged students to become more polite, disciplined, honest, responsible, and sensitive to their peers. These outcomes were supported by teacher collaboration, school support, and parental involvement, although limited time, old teaching habits, and inconsistent implementation remained key challenges.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of tax administration systems in government institutions in supporting taxpayer compliance. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to provide an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and literature review from relevant academic and official sources. The findings indicate that the implementation of technology-based tax administration systems, such as e-Filing and e-Billing, has significantly improved service efficiency, accessibility, and transparency. These improvements contribute to better supervision and encourage higher levels of taxpayer compliance. However, several challenges remain, including limited human resources, insufficient digital literacy among taxpayers, and suboptimal utilization of available technology. These constraints hinder the effectiveness of the system in achieving optimal compliance outcomes. Therefore, continuous improvements are required, particularly in enhancing human resource capacity, strengthening digital infrastructure, and increasing public awareness through socialization and education programs. Overall, the study highlights that a well-implemented and technology-driven tax administration system plays a crucial role in fostering sustainable taxpayer compliance within government institutions.

Abstract

Mathematics instruction in elementary schools continues to encounter numerous challenges, particularly in enabling students to grasp abstract arithmetic concepts. This often hinders the optimal development of students’ cognitive skills. This study focused on fourth-grade students at MI Khoiriyatussibyan during the 2025/2026 academic year, aiming to examine the impact of integrating the Direct Instruction model with Intelligent Stick media on students’ cognitive development in mathematics. The research involved 20 students and followed a structured process: an initial pre-test, implementation of lessons using the specified instructional model and media, and a post-test upon completion. In addition to testing, data were gathered through classroom observations and documentation. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 23, incorporating normality tests, Paired Sample T-Tests, and N-Gain calculations. Findings revealed a notable improvement in student performance, with average scores rising from 4.80 on the pre-test to 8.95 on the post-test. Statistical analysis yielded a significance value of 0.002 well below the 0.05 threshold indicating a strong effect, while the N-Gain score of 0.79 fell within the high improvement category. These results demonstrate that the Direct Instruction model, when supported by Intelligent Stick media, effectively enhances students’ understanding of mathematical concepts and positively influences their cognitive growth.

Abstract

Intercropping of Maize, Rice and Cassava is commonly practiced by subsistent farmers on upland agriculture in Indonesia. In general, grain yield of maize under intercropping is very much lower than under monoculture crop. This due to the fact that the variety of maize planted under intercrop was bred and selected under elite, monoculture crop condition. Three field experiments to screen maize breeding materials planted in association with rice and cassava were carried out in Pekalongan (Lampung), October 1993 - November 1994. Three out of 29 entry of maize were selected, MC-1 (optimistic), Wiyasa (neutral) and ICS1 Arj15F (pessimistic). Performance test on grain yield relative stability for three selected materials have to be done before practicing any form of improvement by means of selection.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Article 3 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 2 of 1960 concerning Sharecropping Agreements in Kintamani Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency, and to identify the obstacles affecting its implementation. This research employed an empirical legal research method with a descriptive empirical juridical approach. Primary data were collected through field observations and interviews with the Village Head, traditional community leaders, landowners, and sharecroppers, while secondary data were obtained through a literature review of legislation, books, and scholarly journals. The findings indicate that the implementation of Article 3 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 2 of 1960 has not been effective. A total of 87.5% of respondents still conduct sharecropping agreements orally through the traditional nyakap system, which is based on mutual trust, kinship, and long-standing customary practices, while only 12.5% execute written agreements as required by the law. These findings demonstrate a discrepancy between the applicable legal norms (das sollen) and the actual practices within the community (das sein). The primary obstacles to implementation include the strong legal culture that continues to uphold customary practices, the limited public understanding of the legal requirement to establish written agreements, and the lack of effective dissemination, supervision, and legal guidance from the village government and relevant authorities. The study concludes that improving the effectiveness of Law Number 2 of 1960 requires strengthening public legal awareness, enhancing the government's role in legal education and supervision, and promoting harmony between state law and the living law practiced within the community. Such efforts are essential to ensure legal certainty and legal protection for both landowners and sharecroppers in the implementation of agricultural sharecropping agreements.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes and learning independence of students in mathematics learning on fraction material in Grade IV at MI Tahfidz Dan Bahasa An-Nur. Learning activities that were still teacher-centered caused students to be less active and have low motivation for independent learning. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Flipped Classroom model assisted by Kahoot interactive media on students’ learning outcomes and learning independence in learning mathematics on fraction material for Grade IV students. This research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type and a nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study consisted of all Grade IV students totaling 30 students, who had already been divided into classes, so that Class A became the experimental group (n=15) and Class B became the control group (n=15). Data collection techniques included learning outcome tests, learning independence questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and MANOVA tests. The results of the study showed that there was a significant effect of the Flipped Classroom model assisted by Kahoot on mathematics learning outcomes, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. In addition, there was also a significant effect on students’ learning independence, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, the Flipped Classroom model assisted by Kahoot also had a significant effect on both learning outcomes and students’ learning independence, with a Pillai’s Trace value of 0.891 and a significance value of 0.000. Therefore, the Flipped Classroom model assisted by Kahoot was proven effective in improving students’ learning outcomes and learning independence on fraction material.
