Abstract

Security remains a primary concern in domestic and marketable structures, especially as conventional door cinches come decreasingly vulnerable to duplication and forced access. This study presents the design and perpetration of a smart door lock security system grounded on Internet of Things and Radio frequence Identification technologies. The main ideal is to give a real- time, ever controlled locking medium integrated with a mobile- grounded messaging platform. The development process adopts the nimble methodology, which promotes inflexibility, responsiveness to stoner feedback, and rapid-fire replication in software and tackle integration. The tackle armature utilizes ESP32 and Arduino Nano microcontrollers to manage essential factors, including RFID compendiums, relays, buzzers, solenoid cinches, LED and LCD as display module. On the software side, the system incorporates a pall connected messaging operation to deliver real- time announcements to druggies, including cautions for unauthorized access attempts, successful entries, and low battery warnings. Data communication between the microcontrollers is enforced via periodical protocol, while the commerce with the messaging service is established using the HyperText Transfer Protocol. Testing involved colorful scripts including valid access, unrecorded card attempts, and remote commands. The testing scenario uses three RFID cards and a WhatsApp chatbot, with one card as the master and the other two as access cards, with each card undergoing three trials. Results demonstrate a high success rate in card discovery and command prosecution with an average system response time below one second. The system also allows druggies to register and remove access cards via a master card medium, which enhances usability and control. This exploration contributes a low- cost, customizable, and effective security result suitable for smart homes, boarding houses, and small- scale marketable parcels. It shows the feasibility of integrating open- source microcontrollers with everyday messaging tools to achieve effective, real- time home security. The proposed system provides a foundation for unborn exploration in combining internet grounded control systems with biometric detectors or machine literacy grounded access analytics such as developing a separate mobile application so that it does not use third-party applications, allowing users to obtain more accurate feedback through door leaf detector sensors.

Abstract

This community service aims to empower village entrepreneurs and managers of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) to better understand financial management through training on the use of online crowdfunding in the development of village tourism infrastructure. This activity was carried out using a participatory approach through face-to-face training, case studies, and hands-on practice in campaign fundraising. Based on a survey of 20 participants before and after the training, there was a significant increase in understanding of the concept of crowdfunding, with the majority moving from a low level to moderate and high levels after the training. These findings align with recent research highlighting the importance of digital financial literacy and technology utilisation in village development (Rahmawati et al., 2024; Suvero et al., 2023; Zellatifanny & Mudjiyanto, 2024). Although the training successfully enhanced participants' capacity, the activity had limitations in terms of the number of respondents, the short duration of the training, and the absence of a directly implemented crowdfunding campaign. Therefore, the programme recommends ongoing mentoring and multi-stakeholder collaboration to ensure the sustainable use of crowdfunding as a village social finance tool and its direct impact on local tourism development

Abstract

Malapari (Pongamia pinnata (L.) Pierre) is one of the most potential biodiesel raw materials to be developed in Indonesia. The plant is natura ly distributed from Sumatera to Papua. However, oil content and its physico-chemical properties of malapari originated from Java was limitedly known. This study investigates chemical composition of malapari seeds, identifies fatty acid composition of the produced seed oil and characterises physico-chemical properties of malapari oil. Composition of chemical content of malapari seeds was analyzed through proximate analysis. Physico-chemical properties of malapari oil were analyzed using the ASTM test method. Results showed that Batukaras population is the best population to be used as biodiesel raw material source because it has the highest value of oil content. Besides, the Batukaras population has the lowest specific gravity, viscosity and acid value. Malapari oil is dominated by oleic and linoleic fatty acids which are potentia ly unsaturated fatty acids for biodiesel. Value of fatty acids (oleic and linoleic) and physico chemical properties (specific gravity and calorific value) of pongamia crude oils suggested that the five populations have been eligible for biodiesel feedstock.

Abstract

Indonesian government has launched a community plantation forests program that would be beneficial for remedying shortage in domestic demand for teak wood every year. This program needs to be supported by the availability of quality seeds resources and quality seedlings utilizing polyploid teak (Tectona grandis). Our study aimed to examine the effectiveness of colchicine and oryzalin to modify diploid into polyploid T. grandis based on growth response, morphological, anatomical and cytological alteration, as well as the acclimatization ability of polyploid plantlets. The materials used were aseptic lateral shoots consisting of nodal segments which were immersed in antimitotic agents at the concentration of 0, 15 and 30 μM for 5 days, then cultured on regeneration medium until the 8 weeks and followed by acclimatization. The results showed that colchicine at the concentration of 30 μM was the most effective to induce polyploidy of plantlets in the parameter of high growth rate, the length of internodes, the number of leaf plantlets and increase the leaf surface area and the significant chlorophyll index content compared to the control. Anatomical analysis of polyploid was characterized by increasing the leaf thickness, stomata size, decreased stomatal density and increased chloroplast content in guard cells. Based on cytological examination on polyploidy plantlet, there was an increased in the number of chromosomes in the cell nucleus. The acclimatization of polyploid successfully induced rooting and a 100% survival rate of grown plantlets. Polyploid seedlings were able to grow and well adapted to the new environment of acclimatization
