Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD), penyakit yang disebabkan oleh infeksi virus, secara endemis berada di Indonesia. Infeksi virus DBD terjadi melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti dan Aedes albopictus. Tindak pencegahan adalah cara yang efektif untuk mengurangi kejadian DBD. Pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku masyarakat memiliki peran penting dalam pemberantasan vektor. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi tempat-tempat penampungan air yang menjadi tempat perkembangbiakan nyamuk serta hubungannya dengan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku masyarakat RT 50 tentang DBD di RT 50 Perumahan OPI. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analitik observasional. Sampel penelitian diambil berdasarkan Purposive Sampling, yaitu dilakukan pengambilan sampel dengan pertimbangan daerah tempat tinggal yang memiliki angka kejadian DBD yang tinggi. Pengumpulan sampel dilakukan dengan menginvestigasi TPA dan jentik nyamuk di tiap-tiap rumah serta wawancara kepada salah satu anggota keluarga dari masing-masing rumah. Larva ditangkap menggunakan gamadotik, pipet tetes dan cidukan. Data pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku masyarakat didapatkan dengan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner. Dari 24 rumah yang diperiksa, 62,5% rumah positif  larva nyamuk dan 37,5% rumah lainnya negatif. Indeks larva yang ditemukan Angka Bebas Jentik (ABJ) sebesar 37,5%, House Index (HI) 62,5%, Container Index (CI) 23,07%,Breteau Index (BI) sebesar 112,5% dan Density Figure (DF) 7. Genus nyamuk yang ditemukan adalah genus Aedes dengan spesies Aedes aegypti (25,43%)danAedes albopictus(69,63%)sertanyamuk genus Culex(4,93%). Sebanyak 62,5% masyarakat memiliki pengetahuan yang baik, 87,5% memiliki sikap baik tetapi hanya 25% yang memiliki perilaku baik. Dari analisis Chi-square antara pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku dan keberadaan  jentik  didapatkan pengetahuan (p=0,80), sikap(p=1)  dan perilaku (p=2). Tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku masyarakat dengan keberadaan larva nyamuk (p>0,05)

Abstract

The objectives of this study was to synthesized 4,6-diallyl-2-methoxyphenol (DMP) from allyl eugenol by Claisen rearrangement. The reaction was carried out at temperature 170-200oC and the reaction time was 30 minutes. The synthesis of DMP by heating at 170-200oC for a certain period of time appears to be a fairly good and simple method. The synthesis compounds were elucidated by infrared (IR), nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR), and mass spectrometry (MS) techniques. Antioxidant activity evaluated the based on the heating of coconut oil. At higher temperatures of reaction the yield will be higher and at the reaction time 30 minutes will produce will produce higher yield which was 59,19%. The gas chromatographic analysis showed that the purity of DMP was 96,45% The structure of 4,6-diallyl-2-methoxyphenol was identified by IR spectrometry which shows strong absorption at 3527 cm-1 indicating hydroxyl group from the phenolic compound and 1H NMR spectra showed that the number of protons of aromatic ring was two hydrogen while the mass spectrometry showed the molecular ion peak at m/z 204 as base peak and absence of peak at (M-41)+ as the indicator of ally eugenol. The addition of DMP at concentration 200 ppm in coconut oil exhibited excellent inhibition of oxidation reaction more than BHT as control positive. The result concluded that 4,6-diallyl-2-methoxyphenol had antioxidant activity on heating of coconut oil at 80oC for 30 day.

Abstract

This research was aimed to utilize eugenol isolated from clove leave oil in the synthesis of isoflavones. Eugenol was usedas a raw material by converting into 3,4-dimethoxybenzyl cyanide through several stages of reactions. These stages weremethylation of eugenol, isomerization of methyleugenol, oxydation of methylisoeugenol, reduction of 3,4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde, halogenation of 3,4-imethoxybenzyl alcohol and nitrilization of 3,4-dimethoxybenzyl chloride to3.4-dimethoxybenzyl cyanide. Methylation of eugenol using dimethylsulfate and NaOH catalyst produced methyleugenolin 93.60% purity. Isomerization of methyleugenol employing base of potassium tertiary butoxide (t-BuOK) in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) gave methylisoeugenol with 87.15% yield and 98.10% purity. Oxidation of methylisoeugenol usingpotassium dichromate (K 2 Cr 2 O 7 ) was performed catalyst transfer phase (CTP) system of polysorbate 80 to 83.40% 3.4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde yield and 90.20% purity. Reduction of 3.4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde with sodium borohidrat (NaBH 4 )produced 98% yield. Halogenation of 3,4-dimethoxybenzyl alcohol by SOCl 2 to 3,4-dimethoxybenzyl chloride followed bynitrilisation using sodium cyanide produced 3.4-dimethoxybenzyl cyanide with 83.90% purity after reflux for 20 hours.

Abstract

Science is a conscious effort to try, find and improve human understanding from various aspects in human nature. The number of medical specialties continues to grow until they reach even smaller branches known as sub-specialties. One type of specialization in medical science is the specialization of cardiology, the science that focuses on the needs of the heart organ. The development of cardiology cannot be separated from the history behind it. The progress of cardiology up to this point is a continuous interrelated journey. Every lesson in the past will be a capital for future experience, as will cardiology, where each phase becomes the foundation for future development.

Abstract

The purposes of this research is (1) to know and analyse strategy of micro enterprises development in accelerating development of Palu city; (2) to know and analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the development of micro enterprises currently nature accelerate the development of the city of Palu; and (3) to know and analyze the development strategy formula that should be done by micro enterprises in accelerating the development of Palu city. This was a qualitative and quantitative research (mix methods) with 20 informants consisting of 16 businessmen in Palu, 4 employees of Cooperative Department and Micro Enterprises of Palu. Data analysis used was interactive approach and SWOT analysis. The research findings reveal that strategy form used recently for micro enterprises development in accelerating development of Palu is combination of strengths-opportunities strategies by optimizing strengths through the use of opportunities with action plan strategies as follows: (1) ease of capital access for bussiness scale development; (2) ease of access to capital for increasing market access; (3) the development of human resources to have access to new markets; (4) the development of human resources to have the potential to develop exports; (5) promotion development in order to improve market access; (6) development of business networks to protect businesses from certain types of business; (7) marketing development in order to access new markets; (8) development of partnerships to protect the business of certain types of businesses; and (9) improving access to technology throught the assistance of facilities and infrastructure development.

The objective of this research is to find out inappropriate space utilization due to the pressure of develompent is caused of develompent thai is not in accordance with the regional spatial planning and the deviation from the realization and contribution of buildiding construction permits. The results of of the research show that (1) the construction of resident in new district has not all been in accordance with the regional spatial planning. (2)  Lack of socialization regarding the procedures for arranging construction permits, some people do not understand the way to manage it. (3) There are no deviations from the realization of building construction permits with spatial planning from related agencies.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan sintesis katalis Pd/Ce/Zeolit, sintesis dilakukan dengan cara impregnasi larutan garam palladium dan serium pada zeolit , kalsinasi dilakukan pada suhu 600 ºC dengan dialiri N2 selama 4 jam kemudian O2 selama 1 jam selanjutnya direduksi dengan H2 pada 900 ºC selama 5 jam. Karakterisasi katalis dilakukan dengan menggunakan difraktometer sinar-X dan uji katalitik dilakukan terhadap umpan gas CO, banyaknya CO yang terkonversi ditentukan dengan kromatografi gas. Disimpulkan bahwa spesies logam yang terbentuk adalah Pd(0), PdO, PdO2, Ce2O3,dan Ce6O11. Katalis Pd/Ce/zeolit pada konsentrasi Ce 3 % adalah yang terbaik mempunyai ukuran partikel PdO/ Ce2O3 279,09/263,69 dengan kemampuan konversi terhadap gas CO 78,789 % pada suhu 700 ºC.

Abstract

Adsorpsi karbon monoksida, pirolidina dan butilamina pada Pt/Aerosil dan Aerosil dipelajari dengan menggunakan spektroskopi inframerah. Permukaan Pt/Aerosil dan Aerosil pada ruang hampa (10-6 mbar) selalu menyerap sinar pada daerah 3730 cm-1 yang ditunjukkan oleh munculnya pita tajam pada spektra. Pita serapan ini merupakan serapan dari vibrasi gugus OH yang dikenal sebagai silanol bebas (tidak membentuk ikatan hidrogen). Pita serapan ini akan hilang jika permukaannya ditambahkan amina yang berarti bahwa molekul amina terikat pada gugus OH melalui ikatan hidrogen. Penambahan karbon monoksida tidak mempengaruhi pita serapan ini. Karbon monoksida menimbulkan pita-pita serapan pada daerah antara 2100 cm-1 dan 1800 cm-1, hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa amina dan karbon monoksida teradsorpsi pada sisi yang berbeda, molekul amina terikat pada gugus hidroksil sedangkan karbon monoksida terikat pada platinum.
