This study aims to examine the application of the Theory of Work Adjustment (TWA) in career counseling at SMA Negeri 3 Teluk Meranti, and its impact on students' job fit and performance. TWA is a theory that emphasizes the alignment between an individual's needs and the demands of the work environment. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, which delves into the meanings, experiences, and understandings of the subjects regarding the phenomenon and the overall picture. The implementation of TWA at this school is carried out through assessments of students' interests, values, and abilities, as well as guidance on understanding the demands of the workforce. The counseling process includes the use of psychological assessment tools, job simulations, internship programs, and industry visits to help students identify their potential and choose a suitable career path. Additionally, counselors collaborate with the school and parents to create a supportive ecosystem that facilitates students' job readiness. Ongoing evaluations are conducted to provide feedback and support students in overcoming challenges during the adjustment process. The results of the study indicate that the application of TWA can improve students' job fit, readiness for the workforce and overall performance.

Purpose - Perception is one of the variables included in individual characteristics that affect response activities in learning. The purpose of this study is to analyse the description of students' perceptions of responding activities in learning.Method - Descriptive quantitative research method with a population of 480 students and a sample of 218 students with proportional random sampling technique representing all classes. Data analysis techniques used with percentages.Result - The results showed that student perceptions of responding activities on average were in the positive category, as well as for the two indicators, namely perceptions of the purpose and benefits of responding activities, each also in the positive category.Implication – Based on the results of research on students' perceptions, it can be used as a basis in the preparation of counseling programmes based on needs analysis to improve responding activities in learning. Furthermore, in the implementation stage of the programme, students' perceptions can be improved with various BK services, including basic services with various components such as classical guidance, group guidance and information media management regarding the purpose and benefits of responding.Originality/Value – Novelty in this study is related to the description of student perceptions in responding activities that have never been studied by previous researchers in an analytical descriptive manner as well as its implementation of counseling services in schools.***Tujuan - Persepsi merupakan salah satu variabel yang termasuk dalam karakteristik individu yang mempengaruhi aktivitas merespon dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis gambaran persepsi mahasiswa terhadap aktivitas merespon dalam pembelajaran.Metode - Metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi 480 siswa dan sampel 218 siswa dengan teknik proporsional random sampling yang mewakili semua kelas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan persentase.Hasil - Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kegiatan merespon rata-rata berada pada kategori positif, begitu juga untuk kedua indikator yaitu persepsi terhadap tujuan dan manfaat kegiatan merespon masing-masing juga berada pada kategori positif.Implikasi - Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai persepsi siswa, dapat dijadikan dasar dalam penyusunan program BK berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan kegiatan menanggapi dalam pembelajaran. Selanjutnya pada tahap implementasi program, persepsi siswa dapat ditingkatkan dengan berbagai layanan BK, termasuk layanan dasar dengan berbagai komponennya seperti bimbingan klasikal, bimbingan kelompok dan pengelolaan media informasi mengenai tujuan dan manfaat merespon.Orisinalitas/Nilai - Kebaruan dalam penelitian ini terkait dengan gambaran persepsi siswa dalam kegiatan responding yang belum pernah diteliti oleh peneliti sebelumnya secara deskriptif analitis serta implementasinya terhadap layanan BK di sekolah.

Research based on phenomena that show a decline in teacher performance. The purpose of this study was to describe the contribution of kindergarten principal leadership and academic supervision to performing kindergarten teachers. This type of research is quantitative, with a descriptive correlational approach. The population in this study were kindergarten teachers, amounting to 43 people. Respondents in this study amounted to 43 people. The instrument used is a Likert model scale and a questionnaire about teacher performance, the leadership of the kindergarten principal, and the academic supervision of the education unit supervisor. Test the validity using the product moment correlation. For the reliability test using Cronbach’s alpha. The requirements analysis tests carried out are; normality test, linearity test and multicollinearity test. The data analysis technique used simple regression and multiple regression. The results showed that; 1) there is a contribution from the leadership of the kindergarten head to performing the kindergarten teacher, 2) there is the contribution of the academic supervision of the education unit supervisor to the kindergarten teacher’s performance, and 3) there is the contribution of the leadership of the kindergarten head and the academic supervision of the education unit supervisor to the kindergarten teacher performance.

This research aims to conduct a literature review related to effective strategies in career guidance and counseling. The research method chosen in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Data collection was carried out by documenting and reviewing all articles related to effective strategies in career guidance and counseling in the period 2020-2024. The articles used in this study were 12 accredited national journal articles obtained from the Google Scholar database using the Publish or Perish application. Based on this research, it is found that there are various strategies applied in career guidance and counseling services. These strategies include the application of theories such as Holland and Trait-and-Factor, modeling technique-based approaches, self-management, group counseling, and the use of interactive digital media. Each strategy contributes significantly to students' career development, both in terms of decision-making maturity, career motivation, and life skills that are relevant to the needs of the world of work.

Melalui pendekatan Traits and Factor guru bimbingan dan konseling atau konselor berusaha membantu satu atau lebih individu mandiri yang mampu menggali, menentukan, dan mengembangkan minat, bakat, potensi, dan kecerdasan yang dimilikinya berdasarkan kemampuannya pada saat ini. Sehingga dengan hal tersebut maka individu dapat merencanakan atau menentukan jurusan yang sesuai dengan kemampuan yang dimilikinya, dengan begitu makan akan lebih memudahkan bagi seseorang mengambil keputusan karirnya. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah studi literature yaitu serangkaian kegiatan dengan pengumpulan data dari berbagai sumber pustaka, dengan membaca dan juga mengolah penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Metode bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penelitian yang berkenaan dengan topik penulis dari berbagai penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian adalah bahwa pendekatan trait and factor sangat mempengaruhi bagi pengambilan keputusan bagi remaja dalam menentukan arah karirnya sesuai dengan pengembangan potensi yang dimilikinya, dan juga guru bimbingan dan konseling atau konselor dapat terus mempraktekkan penempatan siswa yang lebih maju sesuai dengan potensi siswa. Itu siswa dapat meningkatkan pengetahuannya tentang pekerjaan dengan bekerja sama dengan guru bimbingan dan konseling, sehingga siswa tidak memiliki pemahaman yang sangat buruk tentang jurusan.

Kurangnya kemampuan dalam memahami diri menyebabkan banyak siswa tingkat SMA yang masih bingung dalam memilih jurusan perguruan tinggi yang sesuai dengan dirinya untuk karir di masa depan. Seperti halnya di SMA Negeri 2 Kuta Cane terdapat beberapa siswa kelas XII yang belum dapat memahami dirinya sehingga kesulitan dalam memilih jurusan untuk kelanjutan studi mereka di perguruan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu siswa melalui pendekatan konseling trait and factor agar dapat memahami diri sehingga mudah dalam memilih jurusan di perguruan tinggi yang sesuai dengan diri mereka. Dengan demikian, mereka mudah untuk mencapai kesuksesan karir di masa depan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan dengan memanfaatkan artikel atau jurnal terkait dengan pendekatan konseling karir, teori trait and factor, dan pemilihan jurusan. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa dengan pendekatan konseling karir trait and factor efektik dalam membantu siswa Kelas XII di tingkat SMA untuk memilih jurusan studi di perguruan tinggi yang sesuai dengan bakat, minat, dan karakteristik mereka. Dengan demikian, mereka mudah untuk mencapai karir yang sukses di masa depan.

Social relationships result from interactions between individuals influenced by various factors, including self-concept, social skills, parenting patterns, culture, and communication. This study aims to analyze (1) the contribution of self-concept to students' social relationships, (2) the contribution of social skills to students' social relationships, and (3) the simultaneous contribution of self-concept and social skills to students' social relationships at Islamic High School of Insan Cendekia Padang Pariaman, Indonesia. This research method is ex post facto using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability as a data collection instrument. The research sample consisted of 96 students who were selected randomly. Data analysis shows that both partially and simultaneously, self-concept and social skills significantly contribute to students' social relationships. This finding emphasizes the importance of strengthening self-concept and social skills to build harmonious social relationships among students.

The understanding of the extent to which humans can express themselves can be one of the efforts in overcoming various problems that humans face that requires a well-standardized tool. The purpose of this study is to standardize the self-disclosure instrument through the Rasch model. Data collection for this study involved 53 research participants from a high school in Bandung City, West Java. The collected data was then processed and analyzed using the Rasch model with the Winstep application. It was found that out of the 24 initial statement items, 4 did not meet the Rasch model testing criteria. The remaining 20 items could be further utilized in the research. This instrument can then be further utilized in tracing and understanding individual self-disclosure that supports the intervention process to increase self-disclosure.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran kohesi sosial mahasiswa Papua di Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik sampling jenuh, melibatkan 28 mahasiswa Papua yang tergabung dalam organisasi kedaerahan di UNP. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen skala kohesi sosial dan dianalisis melalui bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS, termasuk uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kohesi sosial mahasiswa Papua berada pada kategori sedang, dengan persentase rata-rata sebesar 57% dari skor ideal. Seluruh responden berada pada kategori ini, tanpa ada yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, tinggi, rendah, maupun sangat rendah. Temuan ini mengindikasikan adanya rasa kebersamaan yang cukup kuat di antara mahasiswa Papua dan lingkungannya, namun belum berkembang secara optimal dalam interaksi sosial yang lebih luas di lingkungan kampus. Faktor budaya, tekanan sebagai kelompok minoritas, serta dinamika interaksi sosial di lingkungan akademik turut mempengaruhi kondisi tersebut. Penelitian ini menyarankan pentingnya intervensi yang mendukung integrasi sosial lintas budaya di perguruan tinggi untuk meningkatkan kohesi sosial mahasiswa Papua secara lebih menyeluruh. Penelitian ini memunculkan novelty yang kuat untuk riset ethnic khususnya mahasiswa papua di UNP.

Low life satisfaction can lead to serious mental health problems, including depression and anxiety, which can negatively impact quality of life. This study aims to develop and validate an instrument from Diener that can be used to measure life satisfaction accurately and reliably using the Rasch Model approach. This research method involved 70 participants representing various backgrounds, both men and women. The collected data were analyzed using the Rasch Model to evaluate scale accuracy, validity, reliability, and undimensionality on the life satisfaction scale. The results of this study explain that out of 7 scale item choices, there are three item choices on the life satisfaction scale that are inappropriate, namely scales 3, 4 and 5 which do not have peaks. The validity and reliability results show that 5 items are valid and reliable with the results of the validity value meeting the validity and reliability criteria resulting in a Cronbach's alpha value obtained of 0.83 which means it is in the good category. Furthermore, the findings of the dimensional test tested with standardized residuals are known to have a value of 65.1%. Assuming these criteria are met, the life satisfaction instrument meets the 20% threshold for the unidimensionality test.
