Abstract

Purpose: This research investigates how green accounting, environmental performance, and company size impact the firm value of manufacturing companies in the basic materials sector. The study uses data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017–2023 period to explore the influence of these factors on investor perception. Methodology/approach: This study employs a quantitative, causal research design. Using purposive sampling, a sample of 16 companies was selected, yielding 112 panel data observations. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression in SPSS 25 on secondary data from annual reports, financial statements, and PROPER ratings. Results/findings: Although green accounting, environmental performance, and company size are proven to have a significant simultaneous effect on firm value, only green accounting and company size show a positive partial effect. Abstract

The development of Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is one of the driving forces of the community's economy, especially in villages. Unfortunately, the potential of MSMEs scattered in this village is not yet utilized optimally by the village. Optimizing can be done in many ways, one of them by building village destination branding. The construction and design of destination branding is carried out in Gogodeso village, Blitar district which has many potential MSMEs to be developed, unfortunately not yet communicated by the local community and government optimally. Destination branding is the answer in overcoming it. The stages of destination branding development go through five steps namely market analysis, brand identity, brand recognition, brand implementation and finally launching. The process of developing video-based destination branding is part of the vision and identity of the village of Gogodeso aimed at changing the perception of the village of Gogodeso. As a result, the village's identity as a tourist village of UMKM began to be formed in the public through videos and websites that are spread and socialized in the village community.

Abstract

Abstract

This study explores how Islamic education managers experience and manage complexity and ambiguity in the era of digital disruption through reflective, value-based practices. Digital transformation has intensified tensions between technological adaptation and the preservation of Islamic ethical and spiritual foundations within educational governance. These tensions often manifest as policy uncertainty, generational gaps, and challenges in aligning technology with institutional identity. This research adopts a qualitative phenomenological design and is conducted in selected Islamic boarding schools, using in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data were analysed through iterative processes of data condensation, thematic display, and verification to capture the essence of managerial lived experiences. The findings reveal that value-based management grounded in tauhid, amanah, justice, and maslahah provides a stable framework for navigating uncertainty. Curriculum integration and human resource management emerge as ongoing epistemological and axiological negotiations rather than fixed administrative procedures. Musyawarah and philosophical reflection function as central adaptive mechanisms, enabling collective sense-making, ethical deliberation, and contextual responses to digital challenges. Technology is positioned as a supportive means for education and da‘wah, not as a determinant of institutional direction. This study contributes by reconceptualising Islamic education management as an interpretive and ethical practice and recommends strengthening reflective leadership and dialogical governance to sustain adaptive capacity.

Abstract

The performance of a machine learning model is highly dependent on the selection and tuning of appropriate hyperparameters. The main problem in this study is how to improve the accuracy and stability of a classification model without sacrificing computational time efficiency, especially in the case of kidney disease classification that requires accurate and fast prediction results. This study aims to optimize the classification model by applying two hyperparameter search methods, namely Grid Search and Random Search, to the Random Forest algorithm. The kidney disease dataset is used as a case study with preprocessing processes including data cleaning, missing value imputation, categorical variable encoding, and normalization. Each model is tested using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-Score metrics. The results show that the Grid Search_RF model produces the highest performance with perfect accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-Score values (1.0000), while Random Search_RF provides results close to (accuracy 0.9875 and F1-Score 0.9900) with more efficient training time. Meanwhile, the standard Random Forest without tuning still shows competitive performance (accuracy 0.9917 and F1-Score 0.9930). Based on these results, it can be concluded that hyperparameter optimization, using both Grid Search and Random Search, can significantly improve the performance of the classification model, with Random Search being the most efficient method for practical implementation in machine learning-based disease detection systems.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Islamic leadership in enhancing educational innovation through the integration of managerial, spiritual, and collaborative values in Islamic schools. Using a qualitative literature review method, this study investigates how principals can apply the principles of amanah (trust) and ithqan (trustworthiness) as a basis for professional and ethical management. The results indicate that effective leadership in madrasas requires a balance between spiritual values, managerial competencies, and a collaborative culture that supports educational excellence. Furthermore, this study emphasizes the importance of educational supervision as a strategy for maintaining innovation and continuous improvement in Islamic educational institutions. An Islamic leadership approach that prioritizes integrity, professionalism, and knowledge sharing will foster an innovative and productive environment. Principals, as leaders, are not only responsible for academic success but must also be able to build a harmonious work climate, prioritize ethics, and continuously encourage positive changes in the learning process. Thus, this study contributes to the development of relevant leadership models in the context of Islamic education.

Abstract

Comparative Analysis of Qualitative and Quantitative Assessment in Sundanese Language Learning at Saparako State Elementary School Sundanese language learning in elementary schools plays a crucial role in preserving local cultural identity and shaping students’ character. However, assessment practices still reveal an imbalance between qualitative and quantitative approaches used by teachers. This study aims to compare both assessment types to identify their alignment, differences, and implications for accuracy and fairness within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum. Employing a descriptive-comparative design, the study analyzes qualitative assessments (narrative descriptions) and quantitative assessments (numerical scores) in Sundanese language in SDN Saparako. Findings indicate a strong positive correlation between the two approaches, although each reflects different dimensions of students’ abilities. Qualitative assessment captures learning processes, attitudes, and language performance, while quantitative assessment focuses on measurable learning outcomes. These results highlight the need to integrate both approaches to obtain a more comprehensive evaluation of students’ competencies. The study recommends developing an integrated mixed assessment model that aligns with local cultural values and supports holistic assessment principles promoted in the Merdeka Curriculum.
