Abstract

Collaborative problem solving is an important skill to be mastered in education and work. Collaborative problem solving helps reduce the failure of individual problem solving. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe the collaborative problem solving ability of grade 7 junior high school students in solving contextual problems of linear equations of one variable. The subjects in this study were six students who were divided into two heterogeneous groups, namely: a group of students consisting of one student each with high, medium and low mathematics abilities. The other group consisted of 2 students with low math ability and 1 student with high math ability.The results showed that the high, medium, and low math ability groups were more successful in solving the given problems than the low and high math ability groups. Both heterogeneous groups designed and implemented problem-solving activities fairly well. But for more complex problems, both groups could not solve well. Students with high mathematical abilities in both groups dominated and contributed more to the solution. Medium ability students are encouraged to be actively involved and contribute to problem solving. While students with low ability are more likely to be passive but one of the low ability students in the high and low groups is quite encouraged and contributes enough in problem solving.

Abstract

The curriculum must be able to accommodate the needs and characteristics of students. The new curriculum in Indonesia called the Merdeka Curriculum, advises teachers to implement differentiated learning. This research analyses the concept and practice of differentiated learning in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data sources were taken from Scopus and Google Scholar to search for literature regarding the conception of differentiated instruction and the practice of differentiated learning in Indonesia. The results show that the concept of differentiated learning is to give different treatment to students based on their needs and learning styles. Differentiated learning is divided into process, content, product and learning environment. Differentiated learning has been practised in some schools in Indonesia by teacher movers, but mostly in primary schools and inclusive schools. The reason is that many teachers in Indonesia still need to gain the knowledge and competence to implement differentiated learning in their classrooms. Therefore, this research will help teachers in Indonesia understand more about the concept of differentiated learning and adopt the best practices in their classrooms

Abstract

Critical thinking and collaborative is an ability that is needed by students in 21st century education. The purpose of this research is to describe students' critical thinking skills in solving statistical problems collaboratively. The type of research used in this study is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 4 grade 11 students of SMA Negeri in Mojokerto where students would work in pairs or collaborate with 2 people to solve statistical problem-solving questions. The research methods used are critical thinking skills tests in collaborative statistical problem solving and interviews. The results obtained from this study showed that students' critical thinking skills in solving statistical problems collaboratively were divided into two categories, namely high and low. Subjects who have a high critical thinking ability category are able to fulfill the indicators of interpretation, analysis, and inference. Collaboration ability in solving problems goes well. Collaboration exchanges information and gives advice to each other in solving the given problem. Subjects who have low critical thinking ability category are less able to interpret the problem, and fulfill the indicators of analvsis and inference. Collaboration ability in solving problems is less.

Abstract

Pembangunan berkelanjutan pada sektor pariwisata desa merupakan salah satu upaya penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal di Indonesia. Embung Songgo Langit, yang terletak di Desa Poncol, Kecamatan Poncol, Kabupaten Magetan merupakan salah satu potensi wisata alam yang belum dikelola dengan optimal. Maka dari itu, dibuatlah program Optimalisasi Embung Songgo Langit sebagai destinasi wisata berkelanjutan di Desa Poncol. Program ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan Embung Songgo Langit menjadi salah satu destinasi wisata berkelanjutan dengan cara memperbaiki aksesibilitas, menyediakan fasilitas pendukung, melatih masyarakat lokal dalam pengelolaan wisata, dan meningkatkan promosi agar lebih dikenal banyak orang. Optimalisasi Embung Songgo Langit dilakukan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu analisis potensi wisata, penentuan jenis kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan pengembangan Embung Songgo Langit telah menunjukkan hasil yang positif, terutama dalam hal perbaikan aksesibilitas dan peningkatan fasilitas. Akan tetapi, potensi wisata embung sebagai sumber pendapatan ekonomi bagi masyarakat Desa Poncol masih memerlukan perhatian lebih lanjut. Rekomendasi utama dari program ini adalah perlunya pelatihan lanjutan bagi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan wisata berkelanjutan dan perbaikan fasilitas pendukung, serta strategi promosi yang lebih intensif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kearifan lokal dalam pembuatan kerupuk di Mangli, Jember, tepatnya pada Pabrik milik Pak Tris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengetahuan mengenai sejarah, proses pembuatan, bahan-bahan yang digunakan, keunikan dan nilai-nilai intrinsik maupun instrumental dalam proses pembuatan kerupuk. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerupuk yang diproduksi dalam pabrik milik Pak Tris ini merupakan sebuah karya atau inovasi masyarakat Mangli yang diperoleh dari proses akulturasi dan asimilasi antara masyarakat Sunda dan Madura. Selain itu,  kearifan lokal ternyata sangat memengaruhi teknik, bahan baku, dan proses pembuatan kerupuk di Pabrik milik Pak Tris yang terletak di Kelurahan Mangli, Kabupaten Jember. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam melestarikan kearifan lokal dan budaya lokal dalam praktik pembuatan kerupuk.

Abstract

A School Excellent Model (SEM) is a concept of excellent school management in which there are interesting programs that can lead to the goal of quality education. Education needs in the digital era are increasingly complex, requiring practitioners to adapt and have diverse skills and competencies. It is intended to achieve the goal of quality education by one of the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This research uses a type of literature review in the form of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of articles indexed by Scopus about the School Excellent Model from 2015 to 2022 that have gone through a process of screening, eligibility, extraction, and inclusion criteria. The results of the research literature review on SEM from 2015 to 2022 are 1) mapping related studies; a. competence of an educator in managing learning, conducting assessments or assessments, and integrating technology in learning. b. competence of a leader (principal) in managing institutions, resources, and teacher coaching. c. The need for relationships and cooperation with school partners such as the government, parents, and the community is urgent. d. Innovation and continuous improvement of education. 2) From mapping the results of research studies on SEM, several things were found that can be used as insights into Islamic religious education in Indonesia, including the development of the quality of Islamic religious educators who are technologically sensitive, competent, and adaptive and can formulate assessment techniques for quality learning (self-assessment, formative and assessment ). Development of leadership skills and communication skills for education managers and implementers.

Abstract

Kacang hijau adalah salah satu usaha pertanian terbesar di daerah tropis. Termasuk dalam batang tanaman polong-polongan, tanaman ini memiliki banyak manfaat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Desa Lampah, Kecamatan Kedamean, Kabupaten Gresik memiliki kemampuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kacang hijau baik di pasar domestik maupun non domestik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagian harga yang dapat dinikmati oleh petani, selisih harga disetiap rantai pemasaran dan saluran paling efisien yang dapat dipilih oleh petani kacang hijau. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif. Lokasi di Desa Lampah Kecamatan Kedamean Kabupaten Gresik, mengingat bahwa Desa Lampah adalah salah satu tempat budidaya kacang hijau di Kecamatan Kedamean Kabupaten Gresik. Subyek penelitian adalah petani kacang hijau yang menjual hasil pertanian pada pedagang pengumpul yang ada di desa lampah kecamatan kedamean kabupaten gresik. Jenis dan Sumber data yang digunakan adalah Data Primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa petani kacang hijau mendapatkan bagian dari hasil penjualan kacang hiaju secara optimal. Para Petani juga dapat menjual serta memilih saluran pemasaran yang efisien dengan margin yang paling sedikit sehingga mereka dapat mendapatkan tambahan keuntungan dari hasil menjual kacang hijau tersebut. Akhir dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa setiap saluran pemasaran kacang hijau yang terdapat di Desa Lampah Kecamatan Kedamean dalam kondisi yang efisien. Kata kunci: pemasaran, kacang hijau

Sebagai respon pentingnya pemasaran digital, berbagai potensi sumber daya Desa Bagor Kecamatan Miri, Kabupaten Sragen perlu dipromosikan melalui website. Oleh karena itu pembuatan website untuk Desa Bagor dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian masyarakat yang bernaung di bawah koordinasi Riset Group Pemasaran Keperilakuan, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Univesitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta. Pembuatan website melalui tahapan PDCA (Plan, DO, Check, Action) sehingga diperoleh website desa wisata yang lengkap tapi ringkas dan informatif. Website desa Bagor yang diberi nama dewijaguar.com ini diharapkan mampu menjadi media komunikasi dan promosi sekaligus menarik perhatian investor lokal dan regional untuk memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan sosial, budaya dan ekonomi di Desa Bagor

Abstract

In the rapidly advancing era of globalisation, information and communication technology have had a significant impact, including in the field of education. The development of innovative learning media is crucial to enrich the teaching and learning process. Although many schools have provided IT media for education, there are still educators who underutilise these resources, particularly as tools for evaluating students. This research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This study aims to assess the implementation of the educational game Blooket as an evaluation instrument for the subject SKI at MA Miftahul Ulum Sitiaji. The research subjects were the students, and data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests, reliability tests, and t-tests. The results indicate that the validity of the Blooket website as an educational game-based evaluation instrument is excellent, with validation percentages of 71.2% from subject matter experts, 68.5% from Islamic Religious Education teachers, and 94% from media experts. The students' responses to the instrument were also very positive, with an average percentage of 87%. In conclusion, the educational game-based evaluation instrument Blooket is deemed appropriate and effective for use in the learning process. Abstrak: Dalam era globalisasi yang berkembang pesat ini, teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membawa dampak signifikan, termasuk dalam sektor pendidikan. Pengembangan media pembelajaran yang inovatif menjadi penting untuk memperkaya proses belajar mengajar. Meskipun banyak sekolah yang sudah menyediakan media IT untuk pembelajaran, masih terdapat pendidik yang kurang memanfaatkannya, terutama sebagai instrumen evaluasi siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, yang mencakup lima tahap: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan game edukasi Blooket sebagai instrumen evaluasi pada mata pelajaran SKI di MA Miftahul Ulum Sitiaji. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik, dan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas, reliabilitas, dan t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas website Blooket sebagai instrumen evaluasi berbasis game edukasi sangat baik, dengan persentase validasi dari ahli materi sebesar 71,2%, 68,5% dari guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan 94% dari ahli media. Respon peserta didik terhadap instrumen ini juga sangat positif, dengan rata-rata persentase 87%. Kesimpulannya, instrumen evaluasi berbasis game edukasi Blooket layak dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Learning media plays a crucial role in facilitating effective teaching and learning activities. As instructional aids, media support educators in delivering material and enhancing student comprehension. In Arabic language learning, the four linguistic skills—Istima’ (listening), Kalam (speaking), Qira’ah (reading), and Kitabah (writing)—require diverse media tailored to their specific functions and objectives. This study explores the implementation of learning media in Arabic language education within Islamic higher education institutions, focusing on the benefits and challenges encountered. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that various types of media are utilized, including audio, visual, audio-visual, and interactive multimedia formats. While these media provide significant benefits in enhancing student engagement and comprehension, challenges such as resource limitations and adaptation issues persist. This study contributes to efforts aimed at optimizing the use of learning media to improve the quality of Arabic language education in Islamic higher education institutions.
