Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar dan kreativitas siswa kelas IV SDN Tajungan Kamal dalam pembelajaran matematika melalui pendekatan STEAM berbasis proyek. Masalah utama sebelumnya adalah rendahnya pemahaman konsep matematika, terutama operasi perkalian dan pembagian, serta kurangnya keterlibatan aktif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart dalam dua siklus, dengan 23 siswa sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes tulis, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai naik dari 47,65 menjadi 77,61, dan ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 0% menjadi 86,96%. Selain peningkatan kognitif, terlihat pula perkembangan afektif dan psikomotorik seperti kreativitas, kerja sama, dan antusiasme. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran STEAM berbasis proyek efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep serta keterampilan abad ke-21 pada siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

In many Islamic universities, Arabic language instruction remains focused on memorization and low-level comprehension, limiting students’ ability to engage with texts critically. The lack of contextualized materials and limited use of interactive strategies have further contributed to low student motivation and superficial understanding. Addressing these challenges, this study aims to design and implement an instructional unit based on Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) for teaching Arabic reading comprehension to third-year students at an Islamic University in Madura. The study adopts a research and development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE model, which consists of five phases: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, document analysis, and pre- and post-tests to assess the impact of the instructional unit. Findings revealed significant improvements in students’ analytical and interpretive reading abilities and increased classroom participation. Expert evaluations confirmed the material’s validity, with an overall score of 89%. Integrating local cultural context and interactive technologies enhanced students’ motivation and engagement. The study highlights the importance of embedding HOTS into Arabic instruction to foster critical literacy and recommends applying this model to other language skills in both local and global learning environments.

Abstract

This article discussed the challenges in pronouncing Arabic phonemes by students at INSTIKA Madura. Phoneme pronunciation is the most important principle in Arabic. Without the correct phoneme pronunciation, a language cannot be understood. The problem of phoneme pronunciation was investigated and a solution was found based on factor analysis. Qualitative descriptive research design was used with a case study approach. Data collection methods include interviews with lecturers and students, direct observation of in-class learning and documentation of the results of lecturer notes. The data analysis model adhered the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. Validity was ensured through passion, observation, triangulation, and expert views. The finding of the research showed problems with Arabic phonemes, which were categorized as Akhtha’ al-Harakat, Akhtha’ al-Ibdal, Akhtha’ al-Hadzf, and Akhtha’ al-Tahrif. Factors include language problems (characteristics of the first and second languages) and non-language problems (student characteristics, lecturer competence, learning strategies, lesson materials, and learning facilities). The proposed solutions included error and comparative analysis for language problems, motivation, diagnosis, cooperative learning, detailed examples, pronunciation exercises, and adequate facilities for non-language problems. This research provided a comprehensive study of the challenges of pronouncing Arabic phonemes at INSTIKA Madura. Certain types of errors and the underlying factors that affect pronunciation were identified. Practical solutions were proposed, addressing both language and non-language aspects to improve students' pronunciation skills. These findings offered valuable insights for educators, curriculum developers and language instructors, facilitating targeted interventions and effective teaching strategies to students struggling with Arabic phonetics.

Abstract

Halal tourism is a form of culture-based tourism that prioritizes the values ​​and norms of Islamic law. Halal tourism is very suitable to be implemented in various Islamic boarding schools because Islamic boarding schools already have an Islamic education label that applies Islamic norms. The existence of halal or sharia tourism in Islamic boarding schools will carry out the function of Islamic boarding schools as centers of local community empowerment. The typology of Islamic boarding school halal tourism can imitate the typology of tourist villages based on the characteristics of the resources and their uniqueness which can be grouped into 4 (four) categories; based on the uniqueness of local cultural resources, based on the uniqueness of natural resources, based on the combination of unique cultural and natural resources and based on the uniqueness of creative economic activities.

Abstract

Children in special needs schools have visual, hearing, physical, intellectual and social disabilities. The current problem in SKh Caraka Pratama related to teaching activities carried out by teachers is using textbooks that contain too much narrative information. At the same time, students only absorb very little information. The purpose of this activity is to provide training in skills to create interactive books based on Augmented Reality. The method used in organizing this training is through three stages, including: the identification stage with surveys and problem mapping, the empowerment stage with the provision of tools and assistance, and the evaluation stage with activity achievements and questionnaires. The results of this training are that teachers create interactive printed books and Augmented Reality applications that can later be used as a fun teaching tool, the initial teacher competency test (pre-test) got a score of 60, while after the training the score increased to 95.

Abstract

Non-performing loans (NPLs) in consumer finance institutions are a critical issue that can affect financial stability and the continuity of business operations. In the Madura region, motorcycles have become a primary necessity. However, due to limited financial capacity, people tend to rely on credit facilities provided by financing institutions such as PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance, Pamekasan Branch. This study aims to analyze the mechanisms used to resolve non-performing loans and examine their implications for customers from an Islamic economic perspective. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that PT Adira implements persuasive approaches, such as issuing warnings and engaging in negotiations, along with credit restructuring as initial steps to address problematic loans before resorting to legal measures. From the Islamic economic perspective, resolving non-performing loans should not only focus on institutional interest but must also uphold justice, public benefit (maslahah), and the debtor's moral responsibility. This reflects the importance of integrating Islamic ethical values into the governance of consumer financing, aiming to achieve a balance between financial goals and humanitarian values

Abstract

Tingkat empati yang rendah di kalangan anak binaan di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas I Martapura menjadi hambatan utama dalam proses rehabilitasi dan reintegrasi sosial mereka. Kondisi ini menyebabkan sulitnya membangun hubungan interpersonal yang sehat dan meningkatkan risiko perilaku antisosial. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan intervensi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan empati anak binaan agar mereka lebih siap menghadapi kehidupan sosial setelah masa pembinaan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan empati anak binaan melalui layanan konseling berbasis role-playing. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tiga tahapan utama: pre-test untuk mengukur tingkat empati awal, intervensi melalui ‘role-playing,’ dan ‘post-test’ untuk mengevaluasi perubahan tingkat empati setelah intervensi. Sebanyak 32 peserta berusia 12–18 tahun berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada tingkat empati, dengan skor rata-rata meningkat dari 116,13 menjadi 122,72 (p = 0,001). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa ‘role-playing’ efektif dalam membantu anak binaan memahami perspektif orang lain serta meningkatkan keterampilan sosial-emosional mereka. Selain itu, pendekatan ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pengembangan program rehabilitasi di LPKA dengan metode berbasis pengalaman yang interaktif dan partisipatif.

Abstract

Inulinase (EC 3.2.1.7.) merupakan enzim yang dapat menghidrolisis inulin menjadi fruktosa atau frukto-oligosakarida. Inulinase mikrobial sangat menarik dan menjadi perhatian banyak peneliti salah satunya berasal dari golongan khamir. Khamir seringkali ditemukan pada makanan yang banyak mengandung gula seperti pada nira siwalan (Borassus flabellifer L.). Khamir memanfaatkan gula sederhana pada makanan untuk mendapatkan energi. Bila nira disimpan maka akan terjadi fermentasi oleh adanya mikroorganisme yang terdapat dalam nira sehingga menyebabkan rasa asam karena terbentuknya asam asetat dan merupakan media yang baik untuk pertumbuhan mikroorganisme seperti khamir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kalsium terbaik terhadap produksi inulinase khamir indegenous nira siwalan (Borassus flabellifer L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di laboratorium bioteknologi, Departemen Biologi Fakultas Sains dan Matematika Universitas Diponegoro. Penentuan aktivitas Inulinase dilakukan dengan metode DNS. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (RAL) dengan dua faktor yaitu konsentrasi CaCl2 (Ca0, Ca0,5, Ca1,0, dan Ca1,5) dan faktor II waktu inkubasi (T0, T4, T8, T12, T16, dan T20). Masing – masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penambahan konsentrasi CaCl2 0.5 mM dengan aktivitas inulinase 0.555 IU/mL memberikan pengaruh terbaik.

Abstract

Penutupan TPA Regional Piyungan telah menimbulkan tantangan serius dalam pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga dan kualitas air tanah di wilayah Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan mengimplementasikan teknologi lubang resapan biopori sebagai solusi konservasi air tanah dan pengelolaan sampah organik di lingkungan PRA Banguntapan 1. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup koordinasi, sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan evaluasi berbasis kuesioner pre- dan post-test. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 25 peserta dan berhasil memasang 10 unit biopori secara partisipatif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta mengenai fungsi biopori (dari 24% menjadi 88%) serta kesiapan untuk mengimplementasikannya (dari 32% menjadi 76%). Program ini membuktikan efektivitas pendekatan komunitas dalam mendorong perubahan perilaku pengelolaan lingkungan. Keberlanjutan kegiatan diharapkan melalui penerapan biopori sebagai media pengomposan dan konservasi air secara mandiri oleh warga.

Abstract

Behaviorist-Structural theory is one of the important theories in language learning. This theory is a meeting between behavioral theory in psychology and structuralist theory in linguistics. The combination of these two theories not only creates new principles and views, but also has an impact on the development of language learning, especially second languages. This study aims to describe the behavioralist-structural theory view and its application in Arabic learning. This research is a conceptual study using descriptive-qualitative method. The results of the study show that several learning models that can be applied based on the Behaviorist-Structuralist view are: 1) Repetition of speech and conversation in Arabic, 2) Practice repeating speech with replaced isim/fi'il, 3) Practice expanding sentences patterns, and 4) Exercises for manipulation of isim/fi'il sentences. According to the behavioralist-structuralist view, the teacher and the environment play a major role in the success of learning Arabic as a second language, both in the formal (school) and informal environment (home/family).
