Abstract

Kurikulum Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di beberapa sekolah terutama pada pesantren masih belum secara optimal memasukan materi yang berkaitan dengan keberagaman dan toleransi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Materi yang berkaitan dengan keberagaman dan toleransi dalam kehidupan disampaikan cenderung bersifat normatif tanpa membahas permasalah aktual yang sering terjadi dalam masyarakat. Akibatnya, banyak siswa yang memahami konsep toleransi secara teoritis, tetapi tidak mampu menerapkannya dalam kehidupan nyata. Kurangnya pendekatan berbasis pengalaman juga membuat siswa sulit memahami dampak dari sikap intoleran hingga rasisme yang masih banyak terjadi disekitar. Faktor di sekitar lingkungan juga turut menjadi tantangan dalam pembentukan sikap toleransi melalui pendidikan. Tidak semua sekolah memiliki budaya inklusif yangn mendorong interaksi positif antara siwa dari berbagai latar belakang. Di beberapa daerah, degrasi sosial masih terjadi di lingkungan sekolah, dimana siswa cenderung berkelompok berdasarkan kesamaan etnis atau agama. Hal ini menghambat mereka untuk berinteraksi dengan kelompok lain dan memahami keberagaman secara langsung, dan membuat munculnya sifat intoleran. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai nasionalisme dan toleransi dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan pada para santri di Pesantren Sa’datul Muttaqien Seberang Muaro Jambi, meningkatkan pemahaman dan penghagraan mereka terhadap adanya keberagaman, dan mendorong pembentukan karakter santri yang nasionalis dan toleran. Tahapan dalam pengabdian ini melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, kemudian penerapan teknologi berupa media digital, pendampingan terakhir evaluasi dari keberlanjutan program. Pengabdian ini menghasilkan pemahaman mengenai keberagaman budaya dan sosial, kepedulian terhadap isu kewarganeagraan, penguatan sosial dalam ruang lingkut pesantrean khususnya santri dan juga guru asemakin meningkat.

Abstract

English plays a vital role for school children, both for their personal development, academics, and the future of the nation. English is considered a universal language because it is widely used in various countries as a primary language. Furthermore, it is also an international language that is crucial to master or learn. English learning should begin at preschool age, as this is the stage at which children most easily absorb and develop their language skills. Early learning also has a positive impact on English mastery as they progress through elementary school and college. Therefore, the goal of these English learning activities is expected to increase motivation to learn English and contribute to academic achievement at school.

Abstract

Ineffective medical waste management can pose serious risks to the environment and public health. With the increasing number of healthcare facilities in Batam City, efficient and safe management of solid medical waste has become a key priority in ensuring environmental sustainability and community well-being. This study aims to identify current practices of solid medical waste management in hospitals and to formulate strategies that align with regulations and local conditions to improve the quality of waste management. The research employed a qualitative design with a case study approach, conducted at one hospital in Batam City. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, document analysis, and Focus Group Discussions. Data analysis was performed using triangulation techniques, and the results served as the basis for strategy formulation through SWOT analysis. The findings show that most hospitals have complied with the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation (PerMenLHK) No. P.56/2015, although technical constraints and limited human resources remain challenges. The attitude of healthcare workers was found to significantly influence waste management practices. The SWOT analysis positioned Hospital X in Quadrant I (aggressive strategy), indicating favorable conditions for improvement. The hospital needs to enhance human resource capacity and implement policies based on the 5R principles (reuse, reduce, recycle, recovery, repair).

Abstract

Pendidikan orang tua memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa, karena semakin tinggi pendidikan orang tua maka semakin tinggi pula pendapat dan cara berpikirnya. Secara khusus tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan apakah pendidikan orang tua mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 03 Bantar Kambing Kabupaten Bogor pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti. Berdasarkan pernyataan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan orang tua memiliki hubungan yang penting dengan hasil belajar. Ini terbukti dengan perhitungan dimana thitung 5,020 lebih besar dari t tabel 2,048. Berdasarkan hasil lapangan ternyata hipotesis dapat diterima, sehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang baik dan penting diantara keduanya. Antara pendidikan orang tua dengan hasil belajar siswa, rhitung > rtabel (0,601 > 0,361). Dengan demikian Ha diterima sedangkan H0 ditolak.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the implementation of da'wah bin hal and sharia literacy in the context of the International Community Service Program (KKN) which aims to strengthen Islamic education for migrant communities under the auspices of the Indonesian Consulate General in Penang. Da'wah bin hal, a method of direct and personal mentoring, and sharia literacy as an effort to improve Islamic understanding, are the main focuses of this program. The International Community Service Program (KKN), implemented in Penang, is a strategic platform to directly impact the lives of migrant communities, the majority of whom come from Indonesia. Through this activity, it is hoped to foster a better understanding of Islamic teachings and strengthen the faith and Islam of migrant communities. The da'wah bin hal approach is carried out intensively and continuously, accompanied by sharia literacy education appropriate to their culture and circumstances. The results of this study indicate that this method is effective in improving religious understanding, strengthening Islamic identity, and encouraging the sustainability of Islamic education programs in migrant communities. Keywords: Da'wah bin hal, sharia literacy, International KKN, Islamic education, migrant community.  Abstrak: Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini membahas tentang pelaksanaan dakwah bin hal dan literasi syariah dalam konteks Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Internasional yang bertujuan untuk penguatan pendidikan Islam bagi komunitas migran di bawah naungan KJRI Penang. Dakwah bin hal sebagai metode pendampingan langsung dan personal, serta literasi syariah sebagai upaya meningkatkan pemahaman keislaman, menjadi fokus utama dalam program ini. KKN Internasional yang dilaksanakan di Penang merupakan wadah strategis untuk menyentuh langsung kehidupan komunitas migran yang mayoritas berasal dari Indonesia. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan dapat tercipta pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap ajaran Islam dan memperkuat keimanan serta keislaman komunitas migran. Pendekatan dakwah bin hal dilakukan secara intensif dan berkelanjutan, disertai edukasi literasi syariah yang sesuai dengan budaya dan kondisi mereka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman agama, memperkuat identitas keislaman, serta mendorong keberlanjutan program pendidikan Islam di komunitas migran. Kata kunci: Dakwah Bin Hal, Literasi Syariah, KKN Internasional, Pendidikan Islam, Komunitas Migran.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims at describing the principals’ efforts to make changes, the factors supporting the changes, and inhibiting factors. Research methodology: This research uses a literature review method to describe the principals’ efforts to make changes, the factors supporting the changes, and inhibiting factors. Results: The results show that (1) the principals’ efforts to make changes include catalysts, creators, facilitators, and stabilizers, (2) the supporting factors are the principals’ efforts to make changes and support from teachers and parents to make these changes, and (3) there are several factors, including inhibiting factors. These factors are unfolding needs which include economy, social needs, self-esteem, and individuals that requirefinding new work methods, new work groups that cause inconvenience and obscurity to achieve, limiting the individuals’ share of information and school organizational resources, and orthodox thinking leading to underdevelopment of knowledge and skills as well as limiting authority, increasing workload, increasing number of rules, and intimidating individual career development. Limitations: This study only focuses on the principle of making changes, the factors supporting the changes, and inhibiting factors. Contribution: This research contributes to the principals’ efforts to make changes, the factors supporting the changes, and inhibiting factors to achieve school goals and a good leader to manage the school.

Abstract

The strategy for arranging Street Vendors (PKL) in North Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency, is one of the strategic efforts of the Sinjai Regency government in creating an orderly, safe, comfortable, clean, and aesthetic urban environment. This research aims to analyze the street vendor arrangement strategy implemented in the area and the resilience of city infrastructure in Sinjai Regency. A qualitative research method with a descriptive approach was used in this study. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews involving informants from various sources based on characteristics and existing answers, and observation at the research location. The strategy for arranging Street Vendors (PKL) in Sinjai Regency focuses on four main indicators, namely: (1) Orderliness: Through enforcement and regulation of trading locations, the government strives to create order and avoid disrupting community activities and traffic flow; (2) Safety and Comfort: The lack of adequate facilities to support safety and comfort for vendors and visitors, such as the provision of vendor relocation sites, the construction of representative kiosks/stalls, and adequate sanitation facilities, is a priority in this arrangement; (3) Cleanliness: The local government has not provided adequate waste disposal facilities and has not conducted routine monitoring to ensure the environment around the street vendors remains clean and free from waste; (4) City Aesthetics: The arrangement of street vendors is carried out by considering the aspect of city aesthetics, paying attention to attractive basic elements that do not damage the city view has not been running effectively, which can be seen from several city points that look unkempt and poorly maintained. The strategy for arranging Street Vendors in North Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency, was analyzed using Geoff Mulgan's theory. Therefore, the Sinjai Regency Government must formulate a policy regulating the Arrangement of Street Vendors in North Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency, so that the implemented strategy can run effectively. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the relationship between professional ethics education and anti-corruption education as an integrated approach to strengthening student integrity. The urgency of this research stems from the fact that corruption remains a significant challenge in Indonesia, reflecting a moral crisis across various levels of society. Therefore, universities need to take an active role in fostering ethical awareness and anti-corruption behavior to prevent future moral violations. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, drawing on literature reviews, policy analysis, and documents published between 2020 and 2024. The analysis identified patterns of integration of ethical and anti-corruption values into the higher education curriculum, their impact on student character formation, and the institutional challenges to their implementation. The results show that the systematic integration of professional ethics and anti-corruption education significantly increases students' moral awareness, honesty, and social responsibility. Students who receive values-based learning and are taught by exemplary lecturers demonstrate higher levels of ethical concern and moral sensitivity. Universities with formal academic integrity policies and anti-corruption programs also show significant improvements in academic honesty culture. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of curriculum innovation, strengthening integrity policies, and cross-institutional collaboration between universities, the government, and anti-corruption agencies.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pendidikan etika profesi dan pendidikan antikorupsi sebagai pendekatan terpadu dalam memperkuat integritas mahasiswa. Urgensi penelitian ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa praktik korupsi masih menjadi tantangan besar di Indonesia, yang mencerminkan krisis moral pada berbagai lapisan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, perguruan tinggi perlu mengambil peran aktif dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran etis dan perilaku antikorupsi sebagai bentuk pencegahan dini terhadap pelanggaran moral di masa depan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi pustaka, analisis kebijakan, dan telaah dokumen yang terbit antara tahun 2020 hingga 2024. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi pola integrasi nilai etika dan antikorupsi dalam kurikulum pendidikan tinggi, dampaknya terhadap pembentukan karakter mahasiswa, serta tantangan institusional dalam implementasinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pendidikan etika profesi dan antikorupsi secara sistematis berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesadaran moral, kejujuran, dan tanggung jawab sosial mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran berbasis nilai dan keteladanan dosen menunjukkan tingkat kepedulian etis dan kepekaan moral yang lebih tinggi. Perguruan tinggi yang memiliki kebijakan integritas akademik dan program antikorupsi formal juga menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam budaya kejujuran akademik. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya inovasi kurikulum, penguatan kebijakan integritas, serta kolaborasi lintas lembaga antara perguruan tinggi, pemerintah, dan lembaga antikorupsi.

Abstract

Praktik kerja lapangan (PKL) merupakan mata pelajaran yang wajib ditempuh di SMK Negeri 3 Pariaman. Siswa SMKN 3 Pariaman melakukan PKL pada perusahaan yang bergerak sesuai bidang kejuruannya, dengan waktu pelaksanaan PKL yang berbeda-beda sesuai jurusannya. Pada saat sekarang ini siswa SMKN 3 Pariaman melaksanakan kegiatan PKL sekurang-kurangnya 6 bulan sesuai dengan ketentuan kurikulum merdeka belajar yang dilaksanakan pada kelas 12. Proses pelaksanaan PKL di SMK Negeri 3 pada kelas 11 yang menerapkan kurilulum 2013 masih memiliki berbagai kendala berupa kesulitan dalam monitoring kegiatan siswa peserta PKL saat berada di lokasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem informasi praktik kerja lapangan (PKL) Berbasis Web di SMK Negeri 3 Pariaman dalam pemantauan atau monitoring siswa PKL sehingga dapat membantu user (admin, guru pembimbing, pamong, dan siswa) dalam menemukan informasi tentang PKL dan bermanfaat bagi guru pembimbing dalam memonitoring kegiatan PKL siswa selama berada dilokasi industri/perusahaan. Sistem informasi praktik kerja lapangan ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem dengan Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) metode iteratif. Perancangan sistem dibuat dengan menggunakan bahasa permodelan dengan PHP. Sistem informasi PKL menggunakan bahasa pemrograman framework codeigniter dengan database MYSQL disertai pengujian Alpha dan pengujian beta. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian beta pada validasi tenaga ahli memperoleh rata-rata 92,66% dan angket penilaian pengguna memperoleh rata-rata 91,93% dengan keterangan sangat baik.

Abstract

This study examines the role of English-based Threads accounts as informal learning platforms for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. The objective is to identify the categories of English-learning content disseminated, analyze patterns of learner interaction and engagement, and assess the educational values felt by learners utilizing Threads as an informal learning platform. This study used a qualitative phenomenological research approach to explore the lived experiences of content authors and learners, reflecting the increasing interest in informal language learning facilitated by social media. Data were gathered by systematic content observation, document analysis of posts and comments, and comprehensive interviews with four purposefully selected English-learning Threads accounts: @englishwithzah, @englishwithwahyu, @englishwithfaqih, and @bbyadthma. Analysis of 175 postings and 2,847 comments was conducted from October to November 2025. The results indicate four primary content categories: educational, motivational, interactive, and multimodal content. Learner engagement manifested through five patterns: public interaction, creator-learner discussion, peer learning, and off-platform speaking practice. Learners recognized various educational benefits, including accessibility, microlearning, emotional support, learner autonomy, and a low-anxiety learning atmosphere, while also illustrating the importance of critical and active participation. This study emphasizes the potential of Threads as an informal learning environment for EFL learners.
