Abstract

Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia berkembang dalam berbagai bentuk kelembagaan, terutama pesantren, madrasah, dan sekolah Islam modern, yang masing-masing memiliki karakteristik, fungsi sosial, serta orientasi pendidikan yang berbeda. Keragaman bentuk kelembagaan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana transmisi ajaran keagamaan, tetapi juga sebagai institusi sosial yang berperan penting dalam pembentukan identitas keislaman, struktur sosial, serta mobilitas sosial umat Islam di Indonesia. Dalam konteks masyarakat yang terus mengalami perubahan sosial, pendidikan Islam turut beradaptasi dengan tuntutan modernitas, globalisasi, dan kebijakan pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena pendidikan Islam dalam masyarakat Indonesia melalui perspektif sosiologi pendidikan dengan menelaah peran pesantren, madrasah, dan sekolah Islam sebagai institusi sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, melalui analisis kritis terhadap karya-karya ilmuwan Muslim Indonesia serta teori-teori sosiologi pendidikan, seperti fungsionalisme, teori konflik, dan interaksionisme simbolik. Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk memahami dinamika sosial, relasi kekuasaan, serta proses pembentukan makna dalam lembaga pendidikan Islam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pesantren berfungsi sebagai lembaga pendidikan berbasis kultural yang berperan penting dalam transmisi nilai-nilai keislaman, pembentukan moral, dan pemberdayaan sosial masyarakat lapisan bawah. Madrasah berfungsi sebagai jembatan antara pendidikan agama dan sistem pendidikan nasional, sekaligus sebagai sarana pembentukan kelas menengah Muslim yang adaptif terhadap perubahan sosial. Sementara itu, sekolah Islam modern cenderung berperan sebagai agen reproduksi kelas menengah dan elite Muslim urban dalam konteks globalisasi dan neoliberalisme pendidikan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan Islam merupakan arena sosial yang sarat dengan relasi kekuasaan, produksi makna, serta proses stratifikasi sosial dalam masyarakat Indonesia.

Abstract

This study explores transformative strategies for inclusive education aimed at eliminating gender bias and strengthening social justice in modern school environments. The background highlights that despite the implementation of equality-oriented policies, gender disparities persist in Indonesian education—particularly in learning materials, teaching practices, and access to digital technology. The study aims to identify forms of gender bias, analyze inclusive learning strategies, and formulate a transformative educational model rooted in social justice. Using a qualitative literature review, data were collected from books, journal articles, policy documents, and international reports by UNESCO and UNICEF. The findings show that gender inequality manifests through stereotypes in textbooks, unequal participation in STEM fields, and digital discrimination. Effective strategies include integrating gender literacy into curricula, empowering teachers through training, and promoting collaboration among schools, governments, and communities. The study concludes that inclusive education transformation must combine curriculum reform, digital ethics, and social participation to achieve gender-equal learning environments.

Abstract

Education is not solely the responsibility of formal institutions, but rather a multidimensional process involving family, school, and community the three centers of education as proposed by Ki Hajar Dewantara. In this article, we develop a three-center educational framework as a basis for fostering students' social responsibility. Using a qualitative approach in the form of a literature review, this article examines the roles and responsibilities of each pillar (family, school, and community) and formulates collaborative mechanisms that enable the holistic internalization of prosocial values. Based on an analysis of recent studies, we found that the three-center educational framework is relevant and effective in strengthening character education and social responsibility, especially in the context of modern challenges such as individualism and digital disruption. Therefore, systematic synergy between these three pillars is necessary as a character education strategy in the 21st century.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in shaping students' social values through an ongoing socialization process. Values, norms, and culture are imparted not only through formal education at school but also through non-formal education that occurs at home and in the community. This article aims to explore the role of formal and non-formal education in the process of internalizing social values and to identify unresolved research gaps in education and the sociology of education. The method used is a literature review, analyzing relevant books and journal articles. The results indicate that formal education emphasizes knowledge and rules, while non-formal education is more closely linked to social experiences and real-world contexts. However, there are still limitations in research that comprehensively integrates both types of education within the context of social change and digitalization.

Abstract

School and classroom are not merely educational spaces but act as dynamic arenas where social structures are reproduced and contested. While schools are expected to promote equality, sociological perspectives reveal their latent role in sustaining social inequalities. This study aims to explore how classrooms function as sites of social integration, reproduction of inequality, and identity formation. Using a qualitative library research method, this paper analyzes theories from Durkheim, Bourdieu, Foucault, Mead, and others to examine classroom dynamics. Findings show that education often legitimizes dominant cultural capital, perpetuates labeling practices, and imposes subtle disciplinary power. Classrooms become microcosms of society where power, norms, and ideologies are constructed and negotiated. The study concludes that critical awareness among educators and policymakers is vital to transform classrooms into inclusive and democratic spaces. Future studies should empirically investigate strategies that resist structural inequality within educational institutions.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Bayi membutuhkan tidur berkualitas untuk mendukung pematangan otak yang berlangsung selama tidur Rapid Eye Movement (REM). Kurangnya tidur dapat mengganggu proses tersebut dan memengaruhi hormon pertumbuhan. Di Indonesia, sekitar 44,2% bayi mengalami gangguan tidur, yang sering terjadi pada pagi hari. Namun, lebih dari 72% masyarakat masih menganggap gangguan tidur sebagai masalah yang tidak serius.Metode: Jenis penelitian pra-eksperimental menggunakan metode desain kelompok pre-test-post-test. Populasinya adalah semua bayi yang berada di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sukalaksana, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan adalah kuota sampling. Analisis bivariatif menggunakan uji Shapiro-Wilk dan perbandingan pre dan posttest menggunakan uji t berpasangan. Membandingkan pijat bayi dengan minyak zaitun dan lavender menggunakan uji independent t test.Hasil: Analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbandingan antara pijat bayi dengan minyak zaitun dan lavender terhadap durasi tidur pada bayi (p-value 0,000).Kesimpulan: Adanya perbedaan antara pijat bayi dengan minyak zaitun dan lavender terhadap durasi tidur pada bayi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sukalaksana Kota Tasikmalaya.
