Abstract

In the digital era, E-modules have become one of the learning media used for news writing education. News writing is a language sk ill that aims to promote public transparency. The objectives of this research are (1) to identify the utilization of E-module (Book Creator) as a learning media for news writing to support public transparency, and (2) to understand the relationship between news and public transparency. Data collection techniques involved collecting relevant research findings from previous studies published in national and international journals. A total of 25 articles were selected as the objects of study, with 21 articles from national journals and 4 articles from international journals. The data analysis technique used was comparative narrative analysis. The research findings revealed that (1) the identification of E-module (Book Creator) utilization as a learning media for news writing to promote public transparency includes the following aspects: E - modules can assist the village's social media PIC (Person in Charge) in developing critical think ing skills, facilitating self-directed learning, encouraging interaction and active participation, as well as providing accessibility and affordability in learning. (2) News serves as a means of promoting public transparency. Based on the results of this study, the development of E-modules (Book Creator) as a learning media for news writing to promote public transparency in the village is necessary.

Abstract

Senior high school requires students to have harmonization of their abilities and needs in the world of work, which is manifested in the choice of the right lecture majors. Students with low self-regulation in learning tend to show absence or low participation in class during the learning process. Self-regulation in learning is closely related to grit, namely the tendency to direct and maintain perseverance and interest in the long term. The purpose of this study was to reveal the correlation between grit and self-regulation in learning. The population of this research is the XII grade students of SMA Negeri "X" Kediri City, by cluster random sampling technique to obtain a sample of 80 students. The measuring instrument used is the self-regulation scale in learning (α=0.929) and the grit scale (α=0.916). The results of hypothesis testing with Pearson Product Moment showed that grit had a significant and positive correlation with self-regulation in learning in class XII students of SMA Negeri "X" Kediri City (p 0.000, p < 0.05, r = 0.593) with moderate strength of correlation. Thus, high grit can support students to have good self-regulation in learning, which supports students in managing their thoughts, emotions also actions in learning more optimally.

Abstract

Program magang Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang berlaku di Indonesia secara signifikan mempengaruhi performasi belajar mahasiswa. Mahasiswa akan memperoleh tanggung jawab serta tuntutan pekerjaan diluar tanggung jawabnya melaksanakan perkuliahan. Burnout terjadi pada mahasiswa sebagai bentuk respon dari adanya stres yang berlebihan. Dibutuhkan pengelolaan stresor yang baik berupa kemampuan adversity quotient. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara adversity quotient dengan burnout syndrome pada mahasiswa magang Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Universitas Sebelas Maret. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian 138 mahasiswa magang MBKM periode 3 Universitas Sebelas Maret. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala adversity quotient (r = 0,876) dan skala burnout syndrome (r = 0,865). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan metode korelasi pearson product-moment, nilai koefisien korelasi (r) yang didapatkan adalah -0,769 dengan taraf signifikansi (p < 0,05) yaitu senilai 0,000. Sehingga hipotesis penelitian ini diterima, yaitu terdapat hubungan antara adversity quotient dengan burnout syndrome pada mahasiswa magang Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Universitas Sebelas Maret dengan kategori yang kuat dan arah hubungan yang berlawanan.

Abstract

Penelitian korelasi ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui hubungan antara iklim sekolah dan persepsi tentang harapan orang tua dengan motivasi berprestasi, iklim sekolah dengan motivasi berprestasi, persepsi tentang harapan orang tua dengan motivasi berprestasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas olimpiade di SMA Negeri 3 Semarang yang berjumlah 54 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel total. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen yaitu skala iklim sekolah (r = 0,862), skala persepsi tentang harapan orang tua (r = 0,915), dan skala motivasi berprestasi (r = 0,92). Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda.Perhitungan analisis regresi menunjukkan Fhitung > Ftabel (5,779 > 3,18), p = 0,005 (p < 0,05), R = 0,430, dan nilai R2 = 0,185 atau 18,5%. Hasil uji korelasi parsial antara iklim sekolah dan motivasi berprestasi menunjukkan nilai p = 0,002 (p < 0,05) dan r = 0,404. Sehingga dapat dikatakan terdapat hubungan signifikan yang sedang dan positif antara iklim sekolah dengan motivasi berprestasi. Hasil uji korelasi parsial antara persepsi tentang harapan orang tua dengan motivasi berprestasi menunjukkan nilai p = 0,344 (p > 0,05) dan r = 0,131. Hal ini menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi tentang harapan orang tua dengan motivasi berprestasi.

Abstract

This study aims to: Determine the effect of the Whole Language Approach method on improving the initial reading ability of elementary school-age students with intellectual disabilities in SLB Negeri Sukoharjo for the 2022/2023 academic year. This research is a pre-experimental quantitative research with a research design of one group pretest posttest. Data sources of this study include the results of oral assessments of students' beginning reading skills. The validity test technique used is the validity of the content. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon sign ranks test. The result of this study is that there is a significant impact of the application of the whole language approach on improving the initial reading ability of grade IV students with intellectual disabilities at SLBN Sukoharjo. And the conclusion is Whole Language Approach can giving effect to increasing oral assessments of students' beginning reading skills for 4th grade elementary student with intellectual disability in SLB Negeri Sukoharjo.

Abstract

Educational programs in their implementation require evaluation so that the goals that have been set can be achieved. Program implementation must adapt to environmental conditions and existing developments in science and technology. The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for developing evaluation instruments for vocational skills education programs. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. The results of the study indicate that an evaluation instrument is needed that can evaluate the problems of a comprehensive vocational skills education program. The evaluation model that fits the needs is the CIPP model because it can evaluate comprehensively.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low initial reading ability of eighth grade students at Surakarta Special School, where all students still have difficulty in recognizing letters and often make mistakes in distinguishing letter shapes. Based on these problems, the researcher aims to determine the effect of implementing learning with the syllabic method to influence the improvement of initial reading ability in eighth grade mentally retarded children at SLB C SETYADARMA Surakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The validity test used in this study is content validity with the Aiken's V formula obtained an average value of 0.94. While the reliability test uses Cronbach Alpha which shows a significance value of 0.884. Data collection was carried out using an oral test instrument. The data analysis technique used to test the research hypothesis is the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The results of the study showed an increase in initial reading ability after the syllabic method was applied. This finding indicates that the use of the syllabic method has a positive effect on improving the initial reading ability of mentally retarded children. The advantage of this method lies in its approach, which focuses directly on syllables rather than letter-by-letter spelling, thereby accelerating the reading learning process for children with special needs. Thus, the syllabic method can be used as an effective alternative reading learning method for students with intellectual disabilities.

Abstract

Special schools are educational institutions specifically designed for students with intellectual disabilities. Students with intellectual disabilities are often referred to as children with special needs who experience limitations in their cognitive abilities ranging from mild to severe. This study aims to determine whether puzzle-based learning can enhance knowledge about body parts in second-grade mentally disabled children at SLB Negeri Karanganyar. The research approach used is quantitative saturation sampling. Data collection for the research used a written test instrument with a total of 11 multiple-choice questions. The data analysis technique used to test the research hypothesis is the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. The results of this study show an increase in students' scores from 56.67 in the pretest to 83.33 in the posttest. The conclusion of this study is that puzzle-based learning games have an impact on improving knowledge about body parts for second-grade students with intellectual disabilities at SLB Negeri Karanganyar.

Abstract

This research aims to know the correlation between achievement motivation with academic stress on student of Special Education, Sebelas Maret University who takes the class from home during the Covid-19 pandemic. The population in this study was all students of Special Education, Sebelas Maret University. The sample in this study were 77 students of Special Education, Sebelas Maret University batch of year 2018. The sampling technique used in this study was saturation sampling technique. This research is quantitative research with correlational research type. The data collection techniques in this study used a scale of achievement motivation and scale of academic stress. The data analysis techniques used in this study was Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results of this study have a value (r)=-0.15 and correlation coefficient of 0.896. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between achievement motivation with academic stress on student of Special Education, Sebelas Maret University batch of year 2018 when taking class from home during the Covid-19 pandemic.
