Abstract

Abstract: The Purpose of this study was to investigate fifth grade students knowledge of forest and land fire disaster mitigation from a Public Primary School (SDN 6 Pekanbaru) Riau. Students knowledge of mitigation is categorized from four levels; Excellent, good, sufficient, foor. This study applies a descriptive quantitative method. This studies was conducted with 111 fifth grade students from SDN 6 Pekanbaru. The instrument used to collect data was 24 items of knowledge tests on forest and land fire disaster mitigation which consisted of tes items in the form of multiple choice. That students’ knowledge of forest and land fire disaster mitigation is in the sufficient category with an average of 50,55.Key Words: Knowledge, Disaster Mitigation, Forest and Land Fires, Descriptive Quantitative.

Abstract

Abstract : This research based on the promlems that was discovered when the learning IPA in class V SDN 016 Tanah Datar that shows the results of learning IPA is still low. The formula the problem in this study is : “Whether the implementation of the Learning Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) can improve results learn IPA students of class V SDN 016 Tanah Datar.” The purpose of this research is to improve results learn IPA students of class V SDN 016 Tanah Datar by applying an approach Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). The hypothesis in this study is, “ If applied approach Learning Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) than can improve results learn IPA students of class V SDN 016 Tanah Datar 0n April 2016. This research is  research action class (PTK) with two cycle. The subject of this research is students of class V SDN 016 Tanah Datar in 2015/2016 years lesson consist of 18 students with 9 the male and 9 people female. The results of research shows increasing skill teachers in the meeting I get the scores 15 with the percentase 62,50 in good category, the meeting II scores 17 with the percentase 70,83 in good category, a quarter  scores 18 with the percentase 75,00 in good category, the meeting IV scores 20 with the percentase 83,33 invery good category. The activity of students have increased with acquisition scores at the meeting I of 15 whit the percentase 62,50 in good category, the meeting II scores 16 with the percentase 66,67 in good category,  a quarter  scores 17 whit the percentase 70,83 in good category, the meeting IV scores 18 whit the percentase 75,00 in good category. The results of learning IPA also experienced by the persentase increase thoroughly learn cycle I of 77,78%, cycle II of 94,44%. Thus it can be concluded that implentations of the Learning Contextual Teaching and learning (CTL) can improve results learn IPA students of class V SD NEGERI 016 Tanah Datar.    Key words : Approach CTL, Improve results learn IPA.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was carried out because of the lowlearning outcomes of social studies of grade IV in SD Negeri 188 Pekanbaru, KKM (success criteria) assigned in school, that is 78. The class consist of 32 students, who reached the KKM is just 14 students (43.75%), whereas students who have not yet reached the KKM is 18 students (56.25%) with average rating of class 63.75. To solve these problems then the researchers implement scramble cooperative learning model. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning achievement of social studies of grade IV in SD Negeri 188 Pekanbaru with the implementation of the scramble cooperative learning model. The result of this research shows that the average value of basic score is 63.75 and increased in cycle I from 13.54% become 72.38. In cycle II, the average value of the students also increase 36.29% become 86.88. The development of group at the first meeting cycle I there are 2 groups get category of good, 3 groups get category of very good, and 1 group get special category. And on the next meeting there are 2 group get category of very good and4 groups get special category. On a basic score of students classical success criteria of social studies is 43.75% (not completely). After implementation of scramble cooperative learning model on cycle 1, number of success criteria of students classical learning increased become 59.38% (not completely). And on cycle II, success criteria of students classical learning increased by 87.50% (completely). Then, the activity of the teacher on the first meeting of the cycle 1 got was 58.33% by category is enough. The second meeting was increased become 75.00% with category of good. on the first meeting of the cycle II teacher activity increased become 83.33% by category of very good. At the second meeting increased become 91.66% with the very good category. The activity of the students at the first meeting of the cycle I got was 54.16% by category of enough. The second meeting was increased become 66.66% with category of good. At the first meeting of the cycle II activity of students increased become 75.00% with category of good. At the second meeting increased become 83.33% by very good category. From this research it can be concluded that by implementation of the scramble cooperative learning model can improve students learning outcomes of social studies of grade IV in SD Negeri 188 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Scramble Cooperative Type, Social Studies Outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes learned through cooperative learning model type of talking stick with students who are taught conventional learning model. This research uses quasi experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted at 62 students in third class elementary school. The result of the research is before implemntation cooperative type learning model talking stick type in the experimental class and conventional model learning in the control class is obtained tcount<ttabel that is -0.430 <2.000 which means there is no significant difference civic education learning outcome. In the experimental class and control class after treatment obtained tcount<ttabel is 0.676 <2.000 which also means there is no difference civic education learning outcome. Thus, it can be conclude that cooperative learning model with talking stick can enhance elementary students’ achivement in civic education.

Abstract

This survey research aimed at determining the ecological intelligence level ofstudents. It involved 120 fourth grade students of elementary school. Thefindings revealed that the students‟ intelligence level, with an average score of77.48, was classified in „high‟ category. In addition, other aspects were alsoclassified into the „high‟ category with an average score on attitude aspect of78.19, skill aspect of 77.69, and participation aspect of 76.56. To conclude, theecological intelligence of the fourth grade elementary school students wasclassified in „high‟ category.

Abstract

Critical thinking is sensible thinking that focuses on deciding what they should do. This research method uses the 4-D model proposed by Thiagarajan and Semmel with four stages consisting of define, design, development and disseminate. This study only evaluates validators in the value of test instruments with research results assessed by validators about the contents of critical thinking test instruments with an average of 87.5 in the very feasible category, while in the validation results the presentace of critical thinking assessment instruments with an average of 98% in the very decent category. For this reason, it was concluded that the critical thinking test reading instrument with graphic organizer media was appropriate to be used to measure students' abilities in critical thinking

Abstract

Life has been changing rapidly. Industrial Revolution 4.0 is developed for people to make a novelty. Education as one of the important parts of people’s life is needed to be prepared for every change to improve the teaching and learning system. This article discusses a study conducted by using developmental research with the development of the 4-D design. This study was a Study Room Blog that was conducted for students who could learn individually based on the previous research and only focused on web development or e-module. The advantage of this Study Room Blog was equipped with an evaluation of students’ scores that could be accessed by teachers. The study involved the students in Elementary School to see their reading literacy. Based on the validator assessment result, the average score from the validation of IT-Technology Experts was 80, which was categorized as good. And the average score from the validation of the Linguist was 81.17, which was categorized as very good. It means that the blog could be used in the teaching and learning activity. After obtaining the validation assessment result from validators, then, this study room blog was applied by using a limited try-out which was applied in two classes, the experimental and control classes. In the experimental class, the average score of pre-test result was 50.71 which increased to the average score of post-test result, 80.9. In the control class, meanwhile, the average score of pre-test result was 60.57 which increased to the average score of post-test result, 75.89. Thus, the use of the study room blog was increasingly effective in learning reading literacy. It means that the study gives a contribution to the teacher and students in increasing reading literacy through the Study Room Blog as an interactive media in teaching and learning activities.

Abstract: This research is backgrounded to back by its low of result study IPS, aim of research to to level it studying result. The subjects of the research was the students class IVA of SDN 018 Sintong in number 24 students. This research is class action research with two cycles, every cycles concist from two times meeting with one time repeating of daily. Data collection instrument to research this is teacher’s observation sheet, student’s observation sheet, result test study. From research data show that result study student to undergo leveling. This matter can to be proofed with the activity data analysiicall- result teacher to cycle I first meeting 66,67% and second meeting to level become 70,83% to cycle II first meeting 79,17% and second meeting to level become 87,5%. Next analysiical result activity data to cycle I first meeting 66,67% and second meeting to level become 75%.To cycle II first meeting 79,17% and second meeting to level become 87,5%. From this research result be obtained result study student to undergo leveling that is average result study student to base skor is 63,75 to level to cycle I become 70,62,with leveling point 10,78%, to level again to sisklus II that 79.79 with leveling point 25,16%. To completing study to base skor is 10 people (41,67%), to level tocycle I become 16 people (66,67%) to level again to cycle II become 22 people (91,67%). With such can to be concluded that if to be applied model type cooperative studying Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) can to level it result study class student IPS IVA SDN 018 Soil Sintong White.Keywords: The Cooperative Studying Model TSTS’s Model. Abstract: This research up on its low usufructs student studying Class V SD Negeri 017 Bagan Punak Meranti. Initially, of 24 students which reach KKM just 9 person (37,50 %), with average brazes 60,41. Therefore, this research try Learning Approaching Implement Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) to Increase IPS Studying Result Student class V SD Negeri 017 Bagan Punak Meranti. On this research Observational mengunakan Action brazes (PTK) with analisis's tech kualitatif's data. Observational job mechanism action brazes this, rendered in cycle form (plotted 2 cycles), one that each its cycle ranges 4 activities / phases, which is (1 ) plannings (2 ) performings (3 ) watches and (4 ) reflections. Activity result learns on meet i. cycle first which is 68,75% by enough categories, then increasing on appointment second becomes 81,25 % get categories well. On cycle II. appointment first increases 87,50% by good categories, then on appointment second increases again 93,75% by good peer categories. Student activity result on meet i. cycle percentage first 56,25% get reducing categories, then on second appointment 62,50% also get enough categories, on cycle II. first appointment 68,75% get enough categories, on second Cycle appointment II. also experience step-up 87,50 % by ketegori well. On cycles daily dry run i. student which complete 15 students whereas that don't complete 9 students, with klasikal's thoroughness 62,5 % (are not complete). Base it yielding IPS studying experience step-up as big as 15,04% on i. cycle and 36,15% on cycle II. This research gets to be concluded that penerapam CTL learning approaching can increase IPS studying result student class V SD Negeri 017 Bagan Punak Meranti.Key word : Learning approaching Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) IPS Learnedresult .

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe how grade V students' understanding of flood disaster mitigation at 006 Limau Manis Airtiris Public Elementary School. The data used in this research is primary data obtained directly from data sources. Data analysis is an activity after data from all respondents or other data sources has been collected, data analysis activities are grouping data based on variables and types of respondents, tabulating data based on variables and types of respondents, presenting each variable studied, performing calculations to test the hypotheses that have been proposed. The results of the research on the understanding of fifth grade students on flood disaster mitigation at the 006 Limau Manis Airtiris Public Elementary School are well classified in the understanding category. This can be proven by using data analysis of fifth grade students' understanding of flood disaster mitigation at 006 Limau Manis Airtiris Public Elementary School.Key Words: Student understanding, Flood disaster mitigation
