Abstract

Indonesian language learning in elementary schools is aimed at improving students language skills to communicate well and correctly, both verbal and written.The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of learning with DRTA strategy in reading comprehension skills of students in elementary school.This research uses descriptive qualitative research method with stages is pre-field stage and field work stage. The results of the research in the pre-field stage showed that the development of teacher learning equipment to be applied in the learning is good and in suitable with the assessment indicators.At the stage of field work, the common stages of learning despite into three stages that is beginning activities learning, core activities learning and final activities learning with learning steps: (1) make predictions based on title instructions; (2) make predictions from the image instructions; (3) recite reading material; (4) assess the accuracy of the prediction and adjust the prediction.Based on the implementation of research and data analysis, it can be seen that reading comprehension with DRTA strategy can be said sufficient with indicator that most of student have been able to reach KKM value.

Abstract

Abstract: Problems in this study are students who feel embarrassed and afraid to speak, especially speaking in front of the class. A research is improve student’s speaking skills. In improving student’s speaking skills the researcher applies a communicative approach using classroom action research methods. This research was conducted 2 cycles consisting of planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. Based on the results of Indonesian language learning research with the application of communicative approach shows an increase in speaking skills of class VA SDN 003 Bina Baru Kampar Kiri Tengah student’s both orally and in writing. This increase can be seen from the observation and implementation of corrective actions in each cycle. Cycle I that get very skilled result there are 1 person (4.76%), skilled there are 6 people (28,57%), skilled enough 11 people (52,38%), less skilled there are 3 people (23,81% ) and no students are not yet skilled. In the second cycle that got highly skilled results there were 5 people (23.81%), skilled there were 12 people (57.14%), quite skilled there were 4 people (19.05%) and no less skilled and unskilled students skilled. The observation of teacher activity in cycle I and first cycle of first meeting 63.89% increased to 83.33%, at the second meeting 68.06% increased to 91.67%. The result of observation of student activity on cycle I and first cycle of 57,78% first meeting increased to 77,78%, at second meeting 66,57% increased to 83,34%. Thus it can be said that learning communicative approach can improve student’s speaking skill result.Keywords: Speaking Skills, Bahasa Indonesia, Communicative Approach

Abstract

This study aims to determine enhanching students’ science learning outcomes before and after applying the POE (predict-observe-explain) learning model. This type of research is a pre-experimental type one-group pretest-posttest design, which is an experiment carried out on only one group, without comparison. This research was conducted in 4 of 38 students. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the average score of learning outcomes before treatment (pretest) was 57.89 while the average score of learning outcomes after treatment (posttest) was 80.63 and the average value of gain was 0.56 which included medium interpretation, and the results of hypothesis testing using t-test with t count = 12.92 and t table = 2.0374 then concluded tcount> t table, then reject H0 means significant. This means that there is an increase in grade IV learning outcomes for students between before (pretest) and after (posttest) applying the POE (predict-observe-explain) learning model. This shows that the POE (predict-observe-explain) learning model can improve the learning outcomes of elementary school students in natural resource material.

Abstract

The development of teaching materials for teachers facilitates the learning process as a learning medium to transfer knowledge to students. Graphic organizer is a visual communication tool to express ideas and concepts to convey meaning. The development of media-based reading teaching materials graphic organizer uses development research methods by passing the defining phase which is carried out by two-aspect analysis, namely analysis of the needs and analysis of students, and the development stage is analyzed by the readers technical concepts and exercises in the reading process. The next stage of teaching materials is validated by experts and practitioners about the feasibility of the content obtained an average of 87 with the category Very decent to use in learning to read comprehension in class IV elementary school.

Abstract

Abstract : This research was carried out because still of the low social studies learning outcomes of students in a class V elementary school Babussalam Pekanbaru which were caused by teachers not yet using strategies that matched the characteristics of students and learning material. For that, researchers fix student learning outcomes by implementing a strategy Quick On The Draw . The form of this research is PTK which was conducted as much in two cycles. The research time date 7 to 22 May 2018 is located in Babussalam Elementary School with the number of students is 21 people. From the results of data analysis, there was an increase in teacher activity from cycle one by 67.43% with sufficient categories increasing to 96.29% with excellent categories. Student activities also experienced an increase from cycle one by 62.96% with a sufficient category then increasing to 96.29% with a very good category. Increased teacher and student activities have an impact on student learning outcomes which also increase from a base score of by 67.43 increasing to 82.67 with an increase in precentage of 22.60%. Based on data analysis, it is proven that if a Quick On The Draw strategy applied can improve student social studies learning outcomes.Keywords : Quick On The Draw Strategy, Social Studies Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research was aimed to increase learning process and student achievement of social lesson in V grade year of 2015/2016. The subject of this research is student V grade of State Elementary School 011 Sidorejo Wich is total of 18 student, consisted of 10 girls and 8 boys. This was a classroom research wich has to cycles wich was conducted on April 6th to 25 nd 2016. The data shown that either learning process or student’ achievement increase. First cycle at the firs meeting teacher activity was 62,50% categorized as enough and increased 8,33% at the second meeting as 70,83%. Categorized is enough. Meanwhile at the second cycle at the first meeting the percentage of teacher activity increased as 83,33% categorized as good and in the scond meeting it increased as 12,5% so the percentage become 95,83% categorized as very good. Whil student activities in learning process also increased. At the first cycle in the first meeting, the percentage of student activities was 58,33% categorized as minus and the scond meeting it increased as 8,33% so became 66,66% categorized as enougt. At the scond cycle in the first meeting it increased to 83,33% categorized as good. At the scond meeting the percentage of student activities as 12,5% became 95,83% categorized as very good. Student learning outcomes also increased grom baseline to daily test of I that the average 63,27 be 70,55. The percentage increase in the initial score to the daily test I of 10,31%, of daily test I to daily test II of 14,67%. Mastery learning student of the initial score as many 6 peoples the completion of the 18 student with a percentage of 23,33%. In the fist cycle increased to 8 people punished with percentage 44,44%. The second cycles increased to 15 peoples complete with a percentage of 83,33%. Of these discussions can be conclude with the implementation of inquiry learning can be improve learning outcomes of social science in grade five of SDN 011 Sidorejo Simpang Kanan districts.Key Words : Inquiry learning model, science of primary school, out comes.

Abstract: The problem of  this Research is the weakness of student,s learning result of subject.It show from 22 student,s 8 students (36,36%) have lower score, and it is only 10 student,s ( 63,63%) have average score  59,27. the KKM of this school is 68. According to that problem,the Research by implementing learning model Quantum Learning . in cycle I, the percentage of teachers activity in First meeting is adquate 56,25 % . In second meeting ,teachers activity significantly increased to 65,62% with good category. In cycle II, first meeting was in good category 78,12% and second meeting indicated a very good category 90,62% Mean while, the activity of student,s also improved. In cycle I indicated 53,12% in adequate category and in cycle II has increased up to 62,50% with good category. In cycle II, First meeting, the activity of students has been increasing to 75,00% with good category and second meeting indicated very good category 87,50% . An average score of student,s learning result before implementation is 59,27. It increased to 66,50 in cycle I, and 70,00 in cycle II. In classical completeness, cycle I and cycle II Wet achieved. In conclussion, implementation learning model Quantum Learning can improve student,s learning result of fifth grade students of SDN 33 Tameran Kecamatan Bengkalis in social subject. Key words: Cooperative model Talking Stick,learning result of social subject

Abstract

Abstrack: The study was carried on because of the low grade science students learning outcomes SD Negeri 010 Sialang Makmur Kecamatan Kelayang Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu which has not reached the KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) set is 70. The problem of this research is "Does the application of cooperative learning model think Pair Share (TPS) can Improve Learning Outcomes science Student Class V SD Negeri 010 Sialang Makmur Kecamatan Kelayang Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu? ". The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students at SD Negeri 010 Sialang Makmur Kecamatan Kelayang Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu to implement cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS). The hypothesis of this study is If implemented cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS), it can improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students SD Negeri 010 Sialang Makmur Kecamatan Kelayang Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. This research was done in class V SDN 010 Sialang Makmur in the 2nd half the Academic Year 2015-2016 at the time the study began on April 6, 2016 until April 25, 2016. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Subjects of this study were students of class V SD Negeri 010 Sialang Makmur Kecamatan Kelayang Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu beehive with the number of students 16 people, 10 men and 6 women. Based on the results of the research activity sheet teacher, student activity sheets and student learning outcomes are seen rising on each cycle. In the first cycle of teacher activity with an average percentage of 72.91% persiklus increased to 91.66% in the second cycle. Activities of students in the first cycle of the first with an average percentage of 70.83% persiklus increased to 87.49% in the second cycle. Increase student learning outcomes of basic score is the percentage of completeness 37.5%, with an average of 63.75, an increase in the first cycle with the percentage of completeness of 62.5% with an average of 70.31 and a percentage increase of 9.33%. Increased again in the second cycle is the percentage of completeness of 87.5% with an average of 78.12 and a percentage increase of 18.39%. Abstract: This Research is background overshadow by lowering of result of learning IPA of student of class of IV SD Negeri 010 Karya Mukti Kecamatan Rimba Melintang, with the class Mean 58,21. While complete value Kretiria Minimize the ( KKM) IPA is 68. Among/Between student amounting to 28 student only 7 one who reach the KKM. This Research represent the Research of Class Action ( PTK) done/conducted aim to to increase result of learning IPA of student of class of IV SD Negeri 010 Karya Mukti Kecamatan Rimba Melintang by applying model the study of co-operative of type TSTS. Instrument of data collecting of at this skripsi is sheet of activity perception learn and student and also result of learning. This Skripsi present the data of result of learning obtained from mean of result of learning before action 58,21 mounting to become 14,11% becoming 72,32 at cycle I. At cycle II mount to become 11,79% with the mean 84,11. Activity learn at first cycle I meeting obtain;get the percentage of equal to 62,20% with the good category, at second meeting experience of the improvement with the percentage 70,83% good category. Hereinafter first cycle II meeting of activity learn also experience of the improvement with the percentage 87,50 category very good and at second meeting of cycle II mount again with the percentage 91,67% category very good. while student activity of at first cycle I meeting obtain;get the percentage 54,17 with the category enough, at second meeting experience of the improvement with the percentage 66,67% with the good category, at this cycle is student start to comprehend the study activity with the applying model the study of co-operative of type TSTS marked with the student activity of at first pertemua of cycle of II of student activity experience of the improvement of equal to 79,17%, with the good category and at meeting. Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the low social studies learning outcomes of VA students in SDN 37 Pekanbaru on social studies subject. Can be seen from the determined KKM is 75, from 32 students who reached the KKM were 15 people (46.87%) and those who did not reach the KKM were 17 people (53.12%) with a class average of 71.56. This study aims to know the teacher activities, student activities and student learning outcomes in learning through the TSTS model on social studies subject in VA students at SDN 37 Pekanbaru. This research is a classroom action research, this research was conducted in SDN 37 Pekanbaru. The subjects in this study were VA class with 32 students. This study was conducted in two cycles with four steps, such as: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this study announced after applying the TSTS type cooperative learning model can improve social studies learning outcomes. This can be proven by: teacher activity in the first cycle of 62.5% in the second cycle 83.33%. The activity of students in the first cycle obtained 58.33%, in the second cycle was 83.33. Learning outcomes at the base score were 71.56, increasing in the first cycle of 75.93 and in the second cycle of 86.25. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model of the TSTS type can improve the social studies learning outcomes in VA class at SDN 37 PekanbaruKey Words: Cooperative Learning Model TSTS type, Social Studies Learning Outcomes
