Abstract

Guidance on the use of digital technology is needed to produce relevant, effective, and efficient financial reports. The mentoring method is carried out in several stages. The first stage is the initial stage through observation, compiling mentoring materials, and preparing facilities and infrastructure. Second, the implementation stage involves socialization and direct practice in the form of training on the use of website-based applications, starting from recording daily transactions to creating more structured financial reports. This activity is motivated by the importance of transparent, accountable, and efficient financial governance in religious institutions, particularly Rumah Tahfidz. Through this training, managers and administrative staff will be trained to create a digital financial reporting system using a web-based platform that is easy to access and use. The expected results of this activity are the realization of a transparent and efficient web-based financial reporting system, increased digital competence of Rumah Tahfidz managers, and growing awareness of the importance of digitalization in the management of religious institutions. The transaction recording process becomes more structured, efficient, and can be done in real time, thus enabling more accurate and up-to-date financial monitoring.

Abstract

Inaccurate targeting of social assistance beneficiaries remains a critical issue at the village level due to subjective and inconsistent manual verification processes. This study aims to develop a predictive model for determining social assistance eligibility using the Random Forest algorithm based on 2021 SDGs Village microdata from Cibeureum Village. The research involves data preprocessing, model training, and hyperparameter optimization, with performance evaluation using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The proposed model achieved an accuracy of 94.34%, indicating strong and stable classification performance. Feature importance analysis shows that housing conditions, access to clean water, and asset ownership are the most influential socioeconomic indicators. These findings demonstrate that Random Forest can effectively support data-driven decision-making and improve the accuracy of social assistance distribution at the village level.

Abstract

Student research programs in Madrasah Aliyah (MA) have been developed to strengthen scientific literacy and higher-order thinking skills, yet the quality of student research outputs remains uneven. This study examined the effects of student characteristics, school environment, and learning process on perceived student research quality, while also testing the mediating role of learning process. A quantitative associative-predictive design was employed involving 67 students from MAN IC Lombok Timur who had conducted research. Data were collected through a five-point Likert questionnaire and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results showed that student characteristics had the strongest positive effect on perceived research quality (β = 0.611; p < 0.001), followed by school environment (β = 0.310; p = 0.018). School environment also significantly predicted learning process (β = 0.673; p < 0.001), whereas learning process did not significantly affect perceived research quality (β = −0.001; p = 0.994) and did not mediate the effects of the two predictors. These findings indicate that students’ academic self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, self-regulation, and supportive school climate are associated with higher perceived research quality. At the same time, the non-significant role of learning process suggests that general classroom practices may not adequately capture the research-specific mentoring needed to support student research. The findings should be interpreted in light of the study’s self-reported and cross-sectional design.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sentiment of user reviews of the Toco e-commerce application using the Naïve Bayes Multinomial algorithm. The dataset consists of 1425 reviews with an unbalanced distribution between positive and negative classes. Review data was collected from the Google Play Store platform, then processed automatically through the stages of case folding, normalization, stopword removal, and stemming. Modeling was carried out by dividing the data into training and test data, and classifying sentiment using the Naïve Bayes approach. From the evaluation results, the model's accuracy in sentiment classification reached 88%, with higher performance achieved in the majority class (positive) compared to the minority class (negative), as reflected in the low precision and recall values. This study emphasizes the need to handle unbalanced data so that the analysis results reflect the diverse perceptions of users. This research provides a baseline for sentiment analysis for local e-commerce applications and contributes to the development of automated analytics systems to support decision-making in the Indonesian e-commerce industry.

Abstract

Abstract This study analyzes the implementation of maqasid al-shariah within the domain of Islamic financial planning and its contribution to enhancing sustainable financial well-being. Maqasid al-shariah, as the overarching objectives underlying the establishment of Islamic law, encompass five fundamental dimensions: the preservation of religion (hifzh al-din), life (hifzh al-nafs), intellect (hifzh al-‘aql), lineage (hifzh al-nasl), and wealth (hifzh al-mal). In the financial context, the aspect of hifzh al-mal constitutes the principal foundation that must be safeguarded through financial planning grounded in sharia principles, including the avoidance of riba (usury), gharar (uncertainty), and maisir (gambling), as well as the application of Islamic social finance instruments such as zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf. A descriptive qualitative method employing a literature review approach is utilized to map the understanding and practical implementation of these maqasid. The findings indicate that financial planning integrated with maqasid al-shariah encourages Muslims to manage their finances responsibly, adopt a long-term orientation, and consider social as well as spiritual dimensions. This integration generates positive impacts on both individual and societal welfare in accordance with the principles of justice and sustainability. Therefore, the implementation of maqasid al-shariah in financial planning plays a strategic role in fostering sustainable financial well-being that brings prosperity in both worldly life and the hereafter.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning is an instructional strategy that improves students' Science Process Skills (SPS) by involving them in hands-on scientific project design and implementation. This study investigates the effect of PjBL on students’ SPS, focusing on skills such as observing, generating hypotheses, planning experiments, using tools and materials, collaborating in groups, and communicating scientifically. The research follows a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, including two XI classes at SMAN 1 Lembar, selected through purposive sampling. One class (XI-1) is assigned to the experimental group, which uses PjBL, while the other (XI-2) is the control group, which follows traditional teaching methods. The study uses a science process skills test as the research instrument. The N-Gain analysis showed a moderate improvement of 0.335 in the experimental group, compared to a minimal improvement of 0.011 in the control group. A t-test (t = 6.84 > t = 1.673 at the 5% significance level) confirmed the significant effect of PjBL. The results indicate that PjBL effectively enhances students’ scientific skills, critical thinking, and creativity, making it a viable and innovative approach for science education. These results suggest that PjBL can be foundational to developing more integrated, context-driven approaches to science learning.
