Abstract

This study focuses on Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis of Gojek Indonesia's Ramadan edition advertisements and their implications for Indonesian language learning in high schools. The purpose of this study is to reveal the denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings in advertisements and their relevance to persuasive text learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data in the form of visual and verbal signs from advertisements uploaded through the official YouTube channel. Data collection techniques were carried out through documentation and recording. The results show that the advertisement contains denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings that represent the social and cultural values of Ramadan. These findings are implied as teaching materials for persuasive texts in high school in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum for Grade XI Phase F. The use of advertisements as a learning medium helps improve students' critical thinking skills regarding persuasive language and encourages the use of polite, rational, and contextual language.

Abstract

Abstrak Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) merupakan bagian dari program Merdeka Belajar. Platform ini dirancang untuk memfasilitasi guru dalam mengakses materi ajar, modul pelatihan, serta kolaborasi dengan sesama tenaga pendidik secara daring dan dapat mendukung guru dalam memenuhi tuntutan kurikulum baru, yang menekankan pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi dan pemanfaatan teknologi serta mampu meningkatkan kinerja guru.  Evaluasi dalam penelitian ini berbasis kuesioner dengan menggunakan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Pada kuesioner ini terdapat 6 indikator yang dinilai dan dibagi ke dalam 26 butir item pernyataan. Dari 80 responden, dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara umum Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM) dinilai positif yang dapat dilihat dari aspek attractiveness 1,577 dengan kategori baik, aspek perspicuity dengan kategori di atas rata-rata sebesar 1,481, aspek efficiency sebesar 1,513 dengan kategori baik, aspek dependability sebesar 1,444 dengan kategori di atas rata-rata, aspek stimulation sebesar 1,553 dengan kategori sangat baik, dan novelty sebesar 1,253 dengan kategori baik sehingga Platform Merdeka Mengajar ini dapat digunakan para pendidik untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya melalui pelatihan secara mandiri. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat melakukan gabungan dengan pertanyaan-pertanyaan terbuka (open-ended questions) untuk mendapatkan pendapat dari para pengguna mengenai sistem dan saran pengembangannya.Kata Kunci: Platform Merdeka Mengajar (PMM); Kinerja Guru; Metode UEQ

Abstract

This systematic review aims to map the evolution and relevance of the Mundell-Fleming Model (MFM) amidst the complex dynamics of the modern global economy. Adapting the PRISMA protocol, this study extracted and synthesized 25 primary articles (2015–2026) from Scopus, Google Scholar, and Sinta databases. The review results show that the MFM is not obsolete, but rather undergoing a metamorphosis. Rigid assumptions such as the Policy Trilemma are now proving to be more flexible, significantly influenced by domestic political forces, innovations in banking digitalization, and the paradigm of global currency dominance. The novelty of this article lies in the integration of classical macroeconomic debates with previously marginalized contemporary dimensions, such as the green energy transition and political economy. Consequently, this research not only guides policymakers in developing countries to formulate robust fiscal-monetary instruments to withstand crisis shocks but also contributes fundamentally to the development of economic science and education. In the educational realm, these findings urge educators to transition from teaching static macroeconomic models to adaptive multidimensional analytical frameworks, so that students are equipped with a conscience and critical reasoning sensitivity to the empirical realities of real-world financial markets.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of using Spatial Exploration learning media on improving the spatial thinking ability of students at SMAN 7 Padang. This research employed a quasi-experimental method using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of Class XI F6 as the experimental group and Class XI F7 as the control group, selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data on students' spatial thinking ability were collected through a test and analyzed using an independent samples t-test. The results showed that the use of Spatial Exploration learning media had a significant positive effect on the spatial thinking ability of students in Class XI F6 at SMAN 7 Padang. The mean posttest score of the experimental group was 85.06, while that of the control group was 71.69.

Abstract

Culinary is not just food and drink, but has transformed into a study of culinary gastronomy which focuses on aspects of history, values, philosophy, taste and components. The study of the problems discussed in this research is related to the cultural identity of Javanese culinary gastronomy in the five songs by Ki Narto Sabdo. Descriptive qualitative research methods with an objective approach were applied in this research. This research uses Santich's culinary gastronomy theory and Stuart Hall's theory of cultural identity representation with a constructionist approach. As a result, the representation of Javanese culinary gastronomic cultural identity is built on culinary gastronomic components such as ingredients, method of preparation, shape, taste, color, values and benefits. These five do not contain all the components in one song, but only some components. The gastronomic component in each song becomes its own characteristic of the culinary delights. Apart from that, the representation of Javanese culinary gastronomic cultural identity is represented in the self-expression of Javanese people through unen-unen and wewaler. The conclusion is that the representation of Javanese culinary cultural and gastronomic identity in the five songs is built on the intelligence of Javanese people's thinking as expressed in unen-unen and wewaler. This representation of cultural identity is affiliated with the uniqueness and characteristics of each culinary delight, adding to the diversity of Javanese culinary treasures.
