Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial skills on competitiveness. This study also analyzes the effect of entrepreneurial skills on innovation ability. This study also analyzes the effect of innovation ability on competitiveness. Finally, this study also analyzes and examines the mediating role of innovation ability on the effect of entrepreneurial skills on competitiveness. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with a sample of 110 SMEs entrepreneurs' tempe chips and data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this study is Partial Least Squares. The study results conclude that entrepreneurial skills positively and significantly affect competitiveness. Entrepreneurial skills have a positive and significant effect on innovation ability. The ability to innovate has a positive and significant impact on competitiveness. Finally, it was found that innovation ability mediates the effect of entrepreneurial skills on competitiveness. Further researchers are advised to add other variables affecting competitiveness, such as entrepreneurial and market orientation.

Abstract

This research investigates the factors influencing the Virtual Hotel Operator (VHO) customer's repurchase intention. This research implements transaction-based and experience-based satisfaction as the independent variables influencing repurchase intention, with brand image as the mediation variable. This research is classified as explanatory research, and the data were collected using an online survey method. The respondents comprised 200 customers who had purchased using VHO's platform of their own accord within the past year. The research data and hypothesis are analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The analysis shows that transaction-based satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention, while experience-based satisfaction has no positive and significant effect. The brand image also has a positive and significant effect on repurchase intention. The mediation test results indicated that brand image can play an important role in transaction-based satisfaction influence on repurchase intention, and experience-based satisfaction influence on repurchase intention.

Abstract

Small Medium Enterprise (SME) that has good supply chain performance can help its ability to solve business problems. In fact, there are still a lot of SMEs that fail in supply chain management due to many factors influencing their implementation. This research aims to analysis relation between factors influencing supply chain and the performance of supply chain management in Tempe Chips Industries in Sanan Village Malang.Data collections were done through questionnaire deployed to 200 owners or manager of Tempe Chips SME in SananVillage, Malang. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Analysis result shows that information sharing and customer service give the most dominant influence to supply chain management’s performance in Sanan’s Tempe Chips industries.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of product and promotion on buying decision mediated purchasing motivation. This research is quantitative research with explanatory research approach. This research is conducted on a fixed consumer who partnered with PT. TrakindoUtama Surabaya more than three years amounted to 58 respondents. Data collection using questionnaire and literature review with WarpPLS version 6.0 analysis tool. The results of the study showed that the direct effect of product influence on purchase motivation and the influence of promotion on purchasing motivation had a strong significant influence. Furthermore, the influence of the product on purchasing decisions and the influence of promotion on purchasing decisions have a significant weak influence. Next, the effect of purchasing motivation on purchasing decisions has a significant weak influence. Also, indirectly the motivation of purchase can mediate the effect of the product on purchasing decisions because it has a strong significant influence. However, the indirect effect of purchase motivation cannot mediate the influence of promotion on purchasing decisions, because it has a weak significant influence.

Abstract

This study has the aims to determine both direct and indirect effects of brand experience, brand satisfaction, brand love dan brand loyalty to Wardah cosmetic's consumers in Malang City. 160 samples were taken by using the nonprobability approach with purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SmartPLS 3.0. Respondents were above 15 years of age and had bought and used Wardah cosmetics more than once. The result found that brand experience has no significant effect on brand loyalty. Furthermore, brand satisfaction and brand love are found as a full mediation to the effect of brand experience on brand loyalty. For further research are recommended to use more than one cosmetic brand as the object of the research, to provide more representative results.
