Abstract

Hasil observasi di SMP N 1 Doro, ditemukan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran belum meningkatkan kompetensi siswa secara utuh. Hal ini terjadi karena sumber belajar yang digunakan kurang menarik minat siswa karena siswa hanya mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru dan membaca buku panduan, sehingga belum memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk memperluas kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Perlu dikembangkan media pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk memperluas kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Media pembelajaran yang akan peneliti kembangkan yaitu berupa media pembelajaran monopoli IPA. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan research and development. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran monopoli IPA tema organisasi kehidupan dapat dikatakan layak oleh pakar sesuai dengan indikator kelayakan yang ditetapkan BSNP. Pada uji coba skala kecil dan besar, media pembelajaran monopoli IPA mendapat respon sangat baik oleh guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran monopoli IPA berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Observation result in SMP N 1 Doro showed that teaching learning process has not been able improve the students’ competence. This happens due to lack of learning resources to attract students interest because the students only listen to the teacher explanation and read their text book, so it does not give students the opportunity to improve their capabilities. Because of that reason, the Monopoly that can give students the opportunity to improve their abilities have been developed. In this study, the researcher used Research and Development method. The results showed that the science monopoly learning media development with Life Organization them was appropriate according to expert validators. In the small scale trials and extensive, the science monopoly learning media received very good criteria of responses by teacher and students’. From the result of this study also showed that the use of science monopoly learning media has influenced positive is in improving students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pembelajaran terpadu dianjurkan untuk diaplikasikan disemua jenjang pendidikan. Pengembangan media flashcard IPA Terpadu dalam pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD dapat memfasilitasi pembelajaran IPA Terpadu di sekolah. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan media flashcard yang telah dikembangkan peneliti. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development. Langkah-langkah penelitian dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode R & D yang diambil dari pendapat Sugiyono, 2009. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media flashcard layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran IPA Terpadu tema polusi udara. Hal ini terlihat dari skor kelayakan penilaian mencapai 84,17% sesuai kriteria layak menurut BSNP. Sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal yang diperoleh siswa pada uji pelaksanaan lapangan mencapai 92% yang artinya media flashcard efektif diterapkan untuk pembelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa media flashcard IPA Terpadu layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran model kooperatif tipe STAD tema polusi udara di SMP/MTs kelas VIII. Integrated learning are encouraged to apply at all levels of education. Flashcard media development in science teaching Integrated STAD cooperative model can facilitate learning in school Integrated Science. The purpose of this research was to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of media flashcard which has been developed researchers. This research is a Research and Development. Research steps using the method developed by R & D are taken from the opinion Sugiyono, 2009. The results showed that a feasible and effective flashcard media applied in science teaching Integrated themes of air pollution. This is evident from the feasibility assessment scores reached 84.17 % according to the criteria to qualify as a National Education Standards. While the classical completeness obtained test students on field implementation is 92 % which means flashcard media effectively applied to learning science. Based on the results of the study concluded that a decent flashcard media used in accordance with the eligibility criteria according to the National Education Standards. Media flashcard also developed effective and can be used in science teaching Integrated theme STAD cooperative models of air pollution in SMP / MTs class VIII

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran IPA terpadu menggunakan herbarium dan insektarium sebagai suplemen media pembelajaran dibandingkan tanpa herbarium dan insektarium pada tema klasifikasi makhluk hidup di MTs Al-Islam Jepara. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada kelas 7 MTs Al-Islam Jepara tahun ajaran 2012/2013 dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas 7B dan 7C, diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian pembelajaran IPA terpadu tema klasifikasi makhluk hidup diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 83,08 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 72,23. Persentase aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 82,05% lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 75,95%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas pembelajaran IPA terpadu menggunakan herbarium dan insektarium sebagai suplemen media pembelajaran lebih tinggi dibandingkan tanpa herbarium dan insektarium pada tema klasifikasi makhluk hidup kelas 7 MTs. This research aims to know the effectiveness learning of integrated science using herbarium and insectarium as supplement instructional media compare to without herbarium and insectarium on living things classification theme in MTs Al Islam Jepara. This research was conducted on class 7 MTs Al-Islam Jepara in the academic year of 2012/2013 using pretest-posttest control group design. The samples were class 7B and 7C which was chosen with cluster random sampling technique. From the result of integrated science learning on living things classification on theme, it was achieved the average score of students’ learning outcome on experimental group was 83,08 and control group was 72,23. Percentage the students’ activity on experimental group was 82,05% higher than compare to on control group was 75,95%. Based on the result and the discussion, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of integrated science learning use herbarium and insectariums as supplement instructional media is higher than without herbarium and insectarium on living things classification theme on class 7 MTs.

Abstract

Hasil observasi di MTs N Kendal, ditemukan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran belum meningkatkan kompetensi siswa secara utuh. Hal ini terjadi karena sumber belajar yang digunakan kurang menarik minat siswa karena siswa hanya mendengarkan penjelasan dari guru dan membaca buku panduan, sehingga belum memberikan kesempatan siswa untuk memperluas kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan petunjuk praktikum IPA terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing tema makanan dan kesehatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development, untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas petunjuk praktikum. Penelitian dilakukan di MTs N Kendal dengan skala kecil kelas IX A dan uji skala besar kelas VIII C dan VIII D. Data utama yang telah dinilai oleh pakar kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif persentase menggunakan aspek dan kriteria penilaian bahan ajar yang telah dimodifikasi dari BSNP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan petunjuk praktikum valid dan layak digunakan dengan memperoleh rata-rata skor >2,75 pada komponen kelayakan isi petunjuk praktikum dan >2,5 pada komponen kelayakan kebahasaan dan penyajian pada petunjuk praktikum. Setelah melakukan perhitungan dengan rumus n gain didapatkan nilai n gain klasikal sebesar 0,49 (sedang), dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal adalah 97,06%.  Petunjuk praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing mampu meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan uji-t menunjukkan terjadi perbedaan secara signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran menggunakan petunjuk praktikum berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa petunjuk praktikum IPA terpadu berbasis inkuiri terbimbing tema makanan dan kesehatan telah terbukti valid dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Observation result in MTs N Kendal showed that teaching learning process has not been able improve the students’ competence. This research is a Research and Development, to discover the feasibility and effectiveness of the practical instructions. The study was conducted in MTs N Kendal with the small-scale trial in IX A grade and large-scale VIII C and VIII D grade. The main data that has been assessed by experts then analyzed using descriptive percentage aspects of teaching materials and assessment criteria have been modified from the National Education Standards.The results show a valid and practical guidance fit for use by obtaining an average score of >2,75 the feasibility of the component of content and >2,5 the appropriateness of language and presentation. After calculating the gain obtained by the formula n gain classical value of 0.49 (moderate), with classical completeness percentage is 97,06%. Integrated Science Practical Instructions Based Guided Inquiry can increase student’s activity in local knowledge and student learning outcomes. The results based on t-test showed that there was significant difference between the learning before and after using the Practical Instructions Based Guided Inquiry. So, can be concluded that the Integrated Science Practical Instructions Based Guided Inquiry has been proven valid and fit for use in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen self-assessment yang layak serta efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu di SMP tema energi dalam sistem kehidupan. Instrumen self-assessment terdiri atas kisi-kisi, angket dan petunjuk penyekoran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini berupa data validitas konstruk instrumen self-assessment dan hasil belajar belajar peserta didik yang dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil rerata persentase validitas konstruksi instrumen self-assessment yaitu 92,67%, serta nilai koefisien reliabilitas instrumen self-assessment sebesar 0,765. Pada tahap implementasi instrumen self-assessment, diperoleh ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 94% dan nilai koefisien korelasi product moment (r) sebesar 0,896 untuk aspek afektif dan 0,882 untuk aspek kognitif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen self-assessment efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu di SMP tema energi dalam sistem kehidupan. The study aimed to develop  a viable and effective self-assessment instrument of integrated science learning in junior high school with the theme of energy of life. Self-assessment instrument were consist of value indicators, self-assessment quesioners and rubrics. The method of this study was Research and Develompment (R&D). The research data were consisted of the construct validity and holistic learning achievements of student. All data were analyzed using descriptive technique percentage. The result showed that the product was very viable and could be used as an self-assessment instrument of science, an average score of viability was 92,76% and the reliability coefficient was 0,765. At implementation phase, the mastery learning was 94% and the number of corrrelations were 0,896 (afective aspect) and 0,882 (kognitive aspect). From these data concluded that self-assessment instrument effective applied to integrated science learning in junior high school with the theme of energy of life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektifitas alat evaluasi IPA terpadu berbasis keterampilan proses sains (KPS) tema mikroskop dan jaringan tumbuhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada penilaian tahap I alat evaluasi mendapatkan skor rata-rata 100%. Penilaian kelayakan alat evaluasi tahap II didapatkan rata-rata validasi komponen isi 4,00, komponen bahasa dan penyajian 3,95, dan komponen evaluasi 3,58. Ketuntasan hasil belajar klasikal aspek KPS sebesar 87,5%, sedangkan penilaian aspek KPS pada ranah psikomotor didapatkan rata-rata aspek mengamati 3,51, aspek mengelompokkan 3,45, aspek mengkomunikasikan 3.43, dan aspek menyimpulkan 3,41.  Simpulan yang dapat diperoleh adalah alat evaluasi IPA terpadu berbasis keterampilan proses sains dikatakan layak untuk digunakan berdasarkan kriteria BSNP dan efektif digunakan untuk  melakukan penilaian keterampilan proses sains siswa. Research aims to produce an assessment of Integreted Natural Science based on Science Process Skill theme Microscopes and Plant Tissues. The method used is the Research and Development or Research and development (R&D). The results showed that the phase I assessment get an average score of 100%. Feasibility assessment phase II obtained an average content of 4.00 validation component, the component language and  presentation of  3.95, 3.58 and component evaluation. Usege of assessment get the classical completenness 87.5% in cognitive learning outcomes. On the measurement result on the students’ science process skill for the use of test scores obtained 3.51, 3.45 classify aspects, aspects of communicating 3.43, 3.41 inferring aspects. Based of research, assessment based on science process skill is feasible based criteria of BSNP and effective used as an assessment to assess the students’science process skill theme microscope and plant tissues.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan kefektifan modul IPA terpadu tema perubahan zat berbasis discovery untuk meningkatkan keterampilan generik dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan atau Research and development (R&D). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan 4 tahapan yaitu Define, Design, Development dan Implementation. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kelayakan terhadap modul IPA terpadu berbasis discovery yang digunakan dinyatakan layak sesuai BNSP dengan rata-rata validasi komponen isi 3,81, kebahasaan 3,86 dan penyajian 3,73 dan kegrafikan 3,66. Ketuntasan hasil belajar klasikal siswa pada kelas penerapan yaitu sebesar 80,26%, sedangkan perhitungan menggunakan uji t didapat dinilai thitung = 265,97 > ttabel = 2,73 dikategorikan pencapaian signifikan. Selain itu penerapan modul IPA terpadu berbasis discovery mampu meningkatkan keterampilan generik siswa pengamatan dan inferensi logika dengan N-gain sebesar 0,81 dan 0,66 pada taraf pencapaian tinggi dan sedang. Dengan demikian adanya peningkatan keterampilan generik dan hasil belajar siswa menunjukan penerapan modul IPA terpadu berbasis discovery dinyatakan efektif. This study aims to determine how the feasibility and effectiveness of integrated science module theme changes based discovery agent to improve the generic skills and student learning outcomes. The method used is the Research and Development or Research and development (R&D). In this research, there are four stages is namely Define, Design, Development and Implementation. Based on the results of the study showed that the feasibility of the integrated science-based discovery module used BNSP declared eligible in accordance with the average content of 3.81 validation component, linguistic presentation of 3.73 and 3.86 of scene and 3.66 of graphic. Completeness results of classical study of 80.26 %, while the calculations obtained using the t test assessed tcount = 265.97 > ttable = 2.73 considered a significant achievement . In addition, the implementation of an integrated science-based discovery module can improve student generic skills of observation and inference logic with N - gain have 0,81 and 0,66 on a high standard of achievement and being. Thus an increase in generic skills and student learning outcomes demonstrate the application of integrated science -based discovery module is declared effect .

Abstract

Hasil Observasi di MTs NU Hasyim Asy’ari 03 Kudusditemukan bahwa pembelajaran IPA sudah diterapkan secara terpadu, namun perangkat penunjang pembelajaran (LKS) belum terpadu.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKS IPA terpadu berbasis learning cycle “4E” dan  pengaruh penggunaan LKS terhadap hasil belajar dan keterampilan inferensi logika siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (R and D).Pada penelitian ini, produk yang telah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh pakar desain LKS dan pakar materi kemudian dilakukan pengujian skala kecil, skala besar dan penerapan.Analisis data yang digunakan adalah data hasil validasi produk oleh pakar, angket respon siswa, observasi keterampilan siswa, dan data hasil belajar siswa.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS IPA berbasis learning cycle “4E”termasuk dalam kriteria layak dengan persentase rata-rata skor ≥ 81% pada penilaian kelayakan desain dan materi.Pada uji keefektifan menunjukkan bahwa LKS IPA efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan perolehanN-gain 0,67 dan persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa adalah 100% dengan KKM ≥ 70. LKS IPA juga mampu membekali keterampilan inferensi logika siswa dengan perolehan N-gain 0,65 pada indikator 1, 0,6 pada indikator 2, dan 0,7 pada indikator 3 dengan kriteria keterampilan mudah terkembang. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa LKS IPA berbasis LC “4E”terbukti layak dan berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar serta mampu membekali keterampilan inferensi logika siswa sehingga LKS IPA dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Observation result in MTs Hasyim As’ari 03 Kudus showed that already implemented in an integrated manner , but the learning support ( worksheet ) have not been integrated . This study aims to determine the feasibility of integrated science worksheet  theme of environmental pollution and its impact on learning outcomes and skills of logical inference . The method used wasResearch &Development ( R and D ). In this study , the products that have been validated by experts developed worksheet design and materials experts then testing a small -scale , large scale and implementation . Data analysis used is the result of a data product validation by experts , student questionnaire responses , students' observation skills , and student learning outcomes . Theresults of study showed that Integrated Science Worksheets Based on Learning Cycle " 4E " implied in the criteria feasible with an average percentage score of ≥ 81 % on the assessment of the feasibility of the design and material . In testing the effectiveness suggests that integrative science worksheets effective used in the learning acquisition N-gains of 0.67 and percentage of student’s the classical learning mastery was 100 % with ≥ 70 KKM . integrated science worksheet also able to equip students with the skills of inference logic acquisition N-gain of 0.65 on indicator 1 , 0.6 on indicator 2 , 3 and 0.7 on the indicator criteria easily undeveloped skills . It can be concluded that the integrated science worksheets based learning cycle “4E”  has been proven feasible and positive effect on learning outcomes and logic inference skills to equip students so that integrated science worksheet can be used in learning activities.

Abstract

Permasalahan hasil pembelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 1 Juwana perlu ditingkatkan karena pembelajaran IPA kurang menarik minat siswa dan terbatasnya penggunaan media pembelajaran. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan media flashcard berpendekatan PRAMEK yang telah dikembangkan peneliti. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development. Langkah-langkah penelitian dikembangkan dengan menggunakan metode R & D. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media flashcard layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran IPA Terpadu  tema energi pada makhluk hidup. Skor kelayakan penilaian mencapai 96,87% sesuai kriteria layak dari BSNP yang telah dimodifikasi. Ketuntasan klasikal yang diperoleh siswa pada uji pelaksanaan lapangan mencapai 94% yang artinya media flashcard efektif diterapkan untuk pembelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan media flashcard  berpendekatan PRAMEK layak dan efektif digunakan serta mendapatkan respon yang positif oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran tema energi pada makhluk hidup. The problems of science learning result in Junior High School 1 Juwana needs to be increased because the study of sciene did not make the students to be interested and  too little using of learning media. The purpose of this research was to know the feasibility and effectiveness of flashcard media which Approach of  PRAMEK which has been developed researcher. This research is a Research and Development. Research steps using the method developed by R & D. The results showed that a feasible and  effective flashcard media applied in science learning integrated with theme energy of  living thing. The feasibility assessment scores reached 96,87% according to the criteria to qualify as a National Education Standards. The classical completeness obtained test students on field implementation is 94 % it means flashcard media effectively applied to science learning integrated. Based on the results of the study concluded that a flashcard media  which approach of  PRAMEK  are feasible and  effective  can be used and get positive response from students in science learning integrated with  theme is energy of living thing.

Abstract

Salah satu model pembelajaran yang sesuai adalah pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan tema pencemaran lingkungan. Pembelajaran IPA berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa di kelas dan mendukung perkembangan karakteristik habits of mind siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan instrumen penilaian habits of mind yang valid dan reliabel untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran IPA berbasis proyek pada tema pencemaran lingkungan dan mengetahui karakteristik habits of mind siswa yang tampak setelah mengikuti pembelajaran IPA berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dan dilaksanakan di SMP N 6 Temanggung pada siswa kelas VII. Bentuk instrumen penilaian habits of mind berupa lembar penilaian guru berdasarkan penugasan proyek dan penugasan individu, serta lembar penilaian diri siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen penilaian habits of mind untuk pembelajaran IPA berbasis proyek mendapatkan nilai sangat layak dengan persentase 91% dari pakar evaluasi dan 93,75% dari pakar bahasa. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa kriteria dari karakteristik habits of mind ‘berpikir dan berkomunikasi dengan jelas dan cermat’, ‘berpikir secara interdependen’, dan ‘memeriksa akurasi’ yang tampak setelah siswa mengikuti proses pembelajaran IPA berbasis proyek adalah ‘mulai berkembang’. Hasil penelitian ini sesuai dengan teori perkembangan kognitif menurut Piaget tentang tahap operasional formal. Respon positif siswa terhadap penerapan instrumen penilaian habits of mind dalam pembelajaran IPA berbasis proyek mencapai 87% pada tahap uji coba skala besar dan 89,2% pada tahap uji penerapan. One of suitable learning model is project-based learning with the theme of environmental pollution. Project-based sciene learning can enhance the acitivity of student in the classroom and support the development of student’s habits of mind characteristic. The development of habits of mind necessary to get attention from the teacher because a good habits of mind can help student in solving their problem. This research aims to develop a habits of mind assessment instrument that valid and reliable to be applied in project-based science learning with environmental pollution theme and to know the student’s habits of mind characteristics after they follow project-based science learning. This study is Research and Development (R&D) and implemented to 7th grade students in SMP N 6 Temanggung. Form of habits of mind assessment instrument consist of the teacher evaluation sheet based on project assignment and individual assignment, and also student self-assessment sheet. The result showed that the habits of mind assessment instrument for project-based science learning get very decent value with 91% from the expert of evaluation and 93.75% from the expert of language. The result also show that the criteria of the habits of mind characteristics ‘thinking and communicating with clarity and precision’, ‘thinking interdependently', and ‘striving for accuracy’, which looks after the students follow a project-based science learning process is ‘start growing’ criteria. That result is appropriate with Piaget’s theory of cognitive development about concrete operational stage. Positive response of students to the implementation of habits of mind assessment instrument in project-based science learning reached 87% at the stage of large-scale trials and 89.2% in the implementation test.
