Abstract

ABSTRAK Mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah guru/ustadzah pengajar Al-Qur’an di TKQ/TPQ Al-Falah yang berlokasi di Desa Cibadung RT.003/008 Kecamatan Gunungsindur, Kabupaten Bogor. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah keterbatasan sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki oleh yayasan untuk memberikan pengajaran Al-Qur’an, terutama penerapan metode kekinian yang menumbuhkan minat dan antusian para santri dalam belajar membaca Al-Qur’an. Guru ustadzah memang ada, tetapi rasio dan latar belakang pendidikan pendidik yang belum merata. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini direncanakan diawali dengan memberikan pelatihan berupa penyampaian materi menggunakan media pembelajaran seperti laptop, projector, alat peraga dan sound system. Selanjutnya dilakukan praktik/simulasi yang merupakan kegiatan lanjutan yang dilakukan oleh pelaksana PKM terhadap kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah para guru/ustadzah pengajar TKQ/TPQ Al-Falah dapat mengajarkan anak didik/santri dengan metode Al-Bana yang lebih edukatif dan interaktif sehingga para santri lebih mudah dan cepat menguasai cara membaca Al-Qur’an. Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Motivasi, Guru, Metode Al-Bana  ABSTRACT Partners in this community service activity are teachers/ustadz who teach the Qur'an at TKQ/TPQ Al-Falah located in Cibadung Village RT.003/008 Gunungsindur District, Bogor Regency. The main problem faced by partners is the limited human resources owned by the foundation to provide Al-Qur'an teaching, especially the application of contemporary methods that foster the interest and enthusiasm of the students in learning to read the Qur'an. Ustadzah teachers do exist, but the ratio and educational background of educators are not evenly distributed. The method of implementing this PKM activity is planned to begin with providing training in the form of delivering material using learning media such as laptops, projectors, props and sound systems. Furthermore, practice/simulation is carried out which is a follow-up activity carried out by the PKM implementer for the training activities that have been carried out. The result of this activity is that the teachers/ustadz who teach TKQ/TPQ Al-Falah can teach students/santri with the Al-Bana method which is more educative and interactive so that students can more easily and quickly master how to read the Qur'an. Keywords: Management, Motivation, Teachers,  Al-Bana Method

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman isi dongeng dengan penggunaan media gambar seri pada siswa kelas 1 SDK Mater Dei Pamulang. Kegiatan ini merupakan perwujudan visi Program Studi Sastra Indonesia Universitas Pamulang sekaligus wujud kontribusi prodi dalam bidang bahasa dan sastra melalui media dongeng. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode komunikasi sinkronik yakni dengan memanfaatkan media komunikasi video conference melalui zoom meeting secara bersamaan. Tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat terdiri dari lima orang dosen dan lima orang mahasiswa Program Studi Sastra Indonesia Fakultas Sastra Universitas Pamulang. Pada saat pelaksanaan program, gambar seri diperlihatkan kepada siswa dengan menyesuaikan dongeng yang sedang dibacakan. Dengan kata lain, dongeng yang akan diceritakan dibuat dalam bentuk gambar seri terlebih dahulu. Kata Kunci: pemahaman, isi dongeng, media gambar seri, SDK Mater Dei Pamulang  Abstract This Community Service activity aims to improve the understanding of the content of fairy tales by using serial image media for grade 1 students, SDK Mater Dei Pamulang. This activity is a manifestation of the vision's the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Pamulang University, as well as a form of the study program's contribution in the field of language and literature through the media of fairy tales. This activity is carried out using the synchronous communication method, namely by utilizing video conference communication media through zoom meetings simultaneously. The community service team consists of five lecturers and five students of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Faculty of Letters, University of Pamulang. During the implementation of the program, series pictures are shown to students by adjusting the fairy tale being read. Abstract

Mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini peserta didik di SMK Letris Indonesia 1. Lokasi mitra di Villa Bintaro Indah, Jl. Kalimantan I Jombang, Kec. Ciputat Kota Tangerang Selatan, Banten. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada peserta didik di SMK Letris Indonesia 1 tentang bagaimana meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya melalui pelatihan soft skill. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah dan studi kasus Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah: [1] Pembelajaran masih dominan menerapkan teacher learning centre (guru sebagai pusat), yang seharusnya dilakukan adalah “anak sebagai pusat “ sehingga kompetensi dan kemampuan siswa dapat digali sehingga sekolah dapat menginventarisir kekuatan yang ada pada siswa; [2] Masih kurangnya pengembangan soft skill peserta didik.. Pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM berjalan lancar, selama 3 (tiga) hari waktu yang dialokasikan dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Peserta terlihat antusias dan bersemangat, hal ini dapat dilihat dari terjadinya interaksi dua arah, terjadi tanya jawab, diskusi dan berbagi pengalaman dan menjadi wadah penyampain masalah yang mereka hadapi dalam kegiatan belajar di sekolah. Tim pengabdi memberikan saran-saran sebagai berikut: [1] Bagi Sekolah, setelah mendapatkan penyuluhan, pelatihan, dan motivasi, sebaiknya pengurus melakukan evaluasi terhadap peserta didik apakah mereka mengalami perkembangan keterampilan soft skill khususnya interpersonal yang baik atau sama seperti sebelumnya sehingga menjadikan acuan guru dalam memberikan motode dan materi pengajaran yang cocok bagi peserta didik; [2] Bagi Tim Pengabdi, untuk pelaksanaan pengabdian selanjutnya perlu persiapan yang lebih baik seperti koordinasi tim dan kesiapan serta kelengkapan media pembelajaran untuk memberikan pelatihan terhadap khalayak sasaran, agar penyampaian Abstract Partners in this community service activity are students at Vocational School Letris Indonesia 1. Partner location is at Villa Bintaro Indah, Jl. Kalimantan I Jombang, District. Ciputat, South Tangerang City, Banten. The aim of this Community Service activity is to provide knowledge and understanding to students at SMK Letris Indonesia 1 about how to improve the quality of resources through soft skills training. The methods used in this activity are lectures and case studies. The main problems faced by partners are: [1] Learning is still dominant in implementing a teacher learning center (teacher as the center), what should be done is "the child as the center" so that students' competencies and abilities can be achieved. explored so that schools can inventory the strengths of students; [2] There is still a lack of development of students' soft skills. The implementation of PKM activities went smoothly, during the 3 (three) days the allocated time was carried out well. Participants looked enthusiastic and enthusiastic, this can be seen from the two-way interaction, questions and answers, discussions and sharing of experiences and being a forum for communicating the problems they face in learning activities at school. The service team provides the following suggestions: [1] For schools, after receiving counseling, training and motivation, administrators should evaluate students to see whether they have developed good soft skills, especially interpersonal skills, or the same as before so that they can be used as a reference for teachers. in providing teaching methods and materials that are suitable for students; [2] For the Service Team, for the implementation of further service, better preparation is needed, such as team coordination and readiness and completeness of learning media to provide training to target audiences, so that delivery.

Abstract

Welding plays an important role in every metal working and repair in the production process. There are various methods to overcome problems in the meterial connection process. One of them is friction welding which is one of the solutions in solving metal joining problems. In this study, the method used is the RSM (Response Surface Method) method which aims to determine the value of impact strength on AISI 1040 steel which is connected to SS 400 steel which has been carried out the Friction Welding process. This study uses an impact test in accordance with the standard ASTM E23 impact test charpy method with a size of 55 mm × 10 mm × 10 mm with a notch depth of 2 mm, and a notch angle of 45 °. The impact test was conducted using the Charpy method impact testing machine model JB-300B. With a pendulum capacity of 150 Joules. Based on the results of the impact test, the largest value was obtained in the 6th and 7th experiments with an impact price value of 2.575 joules/mm2, while the smallest value was in the 3rd experiment with a value of 1.557 joules/mm2

Abstract

The Friction Welding method is a welding method that utilizes heat energy caused by the friction of the two materials to be joined, the heat from the friction will cause the material to become semisolid or plastic. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of variations in friction time and distance suppression carried out on impact strength and hardness tests using the Friction Welding method on AISI 1045 steel material connected to Stainless Steel 304. The method used is the Response Surface Method (RSM) to determine impact strength value of AISI 1045 steel which is connected to Stainless Steel 304 after the friction welding process is carried out. The variation used in this study is the variation of the pressure distance and friction time. The size of the impact test specimen is made according to the impact test standard, namely ASTM E23. The greatest impact test results were found in specimen number 6 with a pressing distance of 4.41 mm and a friction time of 5 minutes, namely 0.156 Joule/mm2. While the lowest impact value is found in specimen number 1 with a pressing distance of 2 mm and a friction time of 4 minutes, namely 0.038 Joule/mm2.

Abstract

Tofu manufacturing wastewater produces water that contains low pH. The wastewater is flowed into the river so that the water is polluted and becomes acidic. To increase the pH of the polluted water, adsorbents have been made from Laevistrombus Canarium. Laevistrombus Canarium can be utilized as adsorbents by activation. Activation is useful to increase the adsorption charge, so that the adsorption energy can be increased. The activation process is carried out using an oven with temperatures of 550 ° C, 650 ° C, and 750 ° C. The powder used is mesh 100, 150, and 200. Activated Laevistrombus Canarium powder can increase the pH of water. The results showed that snail powder can increase the pH of water polluted by tofu-making wastewater. By using the Taguchi method, the activation temperature of the adsorbent showed the optimal value at a temperature of 550°C and a powder size of 100 (149m).

Abstract

Indonesia's natural products are very rich, including containing several types of animals, one of which is a clam that belongs to one type of shellfish. Mussel shells contain 39.55% calcium carbonate (CaCO3). The presence of calcium carbonate in the shell makes it possible to use it as a source of catalyst in the carburization process. Carburization adds carbon to the steel when heated to austenitic temperatures, causing the carbon to diffuse onto the steel surface. Low carbon steels with a carbon content of less than 0.3% are usually used in this process. Among the low-carbon steels widely used in industry, there is St 42 Steel, which has exceptional strength. Coconut shell charcoal is used as a catalyst. Coconut shell charcoal is one of the active carbon materials. Activated charcoal from coconut shell has low ash content, high reactivity and good solubility in water. The research method used is experimental. Steel ST 42 is used as the material. At the same time, the carburizing medium is activated carbon powder from coconut shell and shellfish powder by 10%, 20% and 30%, respectively, when heated for 3.6 and 9 hours.

Abstract

In general, the shells are widely used as handicraft materials such as wall decorations or building interior decorations and as a mixture of animal feed, therefore other utilization is needed to increase the use value of the shells. Clam shells contain calcium in the form of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) by 96.5%. The high calcium content of the shell allows the shell to be used as a source of catalyst material in the carburizing process. The catalyst affects the carburizing process because it can accelerate the formation of CO2 gas, which is needed for the carbon diffusion process on the surface of low carbon steel so that the metal hardness can increase. The powder mixing process was carried out for 3, 6, 9 hours with the variations used, namely 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% to determine the effect of the percentage of mussel shell powder catalyst and carburizing process time on the hardness value and impact strength of ST 42 steel.

Abstract

Along with the rapid advancement of technology, the utilization of steel in the industrial world is increasing. St 42 carbon steel is a type of low alloy carbon steel, so this steel has a relatively low hardness and soft properties but has a high ductility value. It is necessary to improve its mechanical properties such as hardness. Improvement of these properties requires the park carburizing process. The purpose of this research is to determine the feasibility of turtle shell powder as a catalyst and coconut shell activated charcoal powder as a carbon source in the carburizing process of St 42 steel. The research method includes turtle shell powder with variations of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30%, then followed by a rapid cooling process using water media. From the test results, it can be seen that the mechanical properties of the highest hardness value are found in the 20% variation of the turtle shell catalyst with a time of 9 hours experiencing an increase, inversely proportional to the hardness. impact test value with a 20% variation of the catalyst with a time of 9 hours decreased. So it can be concluded that the high hardness value will be inversely proportional to the results of the low impact test value.

Abstract

Helm serves as a crucial safety equipment for two-wheeler riders, aiming to mitigate impact during accidents by adhering to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 1811-2007. With the advancement of time, the utilization and exploitation of materials such as wood, stone, metal, and various others are rapidly progressing. However, this technological advancement has led to a decline in the availability of metal raw materials, thus one of the solutions to overcome this issue is by utilizing composite materials. This is due to their superior qualities including strength, corrosion resistance, lightweight, and cost-effectiveness. This research employs braided PE strings with considerations of brand, volume fraction, and orientation arrangement. The analysis method utilized in this study is the Taguchi method, aimed at identifying the most influential factors in impact testing. From the impact testing results, the highest impact test value is found in Brand A, with a volume fraction of 4%, and a transverse fiber orientation, averaging at 0.120542 J/mm2. The lowest impact test value is observed in Brand B, with a volume fraction of 2%, and a transverse fiber orientation, averaging at 0.005833 J/mm2. Based on the highest average impact strength specimen values, specimens pass the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) test, with a minimum impact strength value of 0.00972 J/mm².
