Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang signifikan di Indonesia, yang memengaruhi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, terutama di wilayah pedesaan. Salah satu inisiatif untuk menurunkan angka stunting adalah melalui program Dapur Sehat Atasi Stunting (DASHAT). Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada ibu hamil dan ibu balita mengenai makanan bergizi melalui demonstrasi memasak dengan menampilkan Menu DASHAT. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan pada tanggal 13–16 Agustus 2024 di Desa Timbala, Kecamatan Poleang Barat, Kabupaten Bombana. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah observasi, FGD, dan Demonstrasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pemanfaatan ikan dalam berbagai olahan ramah anak, dengan tujuan utama mencegah stunting. Kegiatan edukasi melalui demonstrasi memasak berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu hamil serta ibu balita dalam menyediakan makanan bergizi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Social Studies Learning, Parenting Style, and Gender on the Social Sensitivity of eighth-grade students at public junior high schools in the central area of Sleman Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 358 students (175 male and 183 female), selected through a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Social Studies Learning has a positive and significant effect on students’ Social Sensitivity and is the most dominant variable, as indicated by a t-value of 11.707, a significance level of 0.000, and the highest Beta coefficient of 0.532. This finding confirms that Social Studies Learning is the most influential factor in enhancing students’ Social Sensitivity; (2) Parenting Style also has a significant effect on Social Sensitivity, with a t-value of 6.201, a significance level of 0.000, and a Beta coefficient of 0.278, indicating that it remains an important supporting factor in the formation of students’ social behavior; (3) Although Gender shows a statistically significant effect (Sig. = 0.030), its Beta coefficient is very small and negative (–0.085), suggesting that it is not a dominant factor in the research model; (4) Simultaneously, the three independent variables have a significant effect on students’ Social Sensitivity, as evidenced by an F-value of 117.284 with a significance level of 0.000. Thus, this study concludes that Social Studies Learning is the most dominant factor influencing students’ Social Sensitivity, supported by the contribution of Parenting Style, while Gender does not serve as a primary factor in the model

Abstract

Optimal drug inventory management can provide cost savings for drug procurement. Two problems are very important in controlling drug inventory, namely deciding the type and quantity of drugs to be ordered. To get a solution for controlling drug inventory, it is necessary to identify and analyze these problems. The purpose of this study is to analyze the control system and improve the efficiency of the patient's drug inventory management cycle at the Hospital Pharmacy Installation. Kartika Pulo Mas. This study analyzes the implementation of internal control of drug inventory in hospitals. Kartika Pulo Mas. in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control of drug sales in hospitals. Kartika Pulo Mas. The research method is a scientific way (rational, empirical and systematic) to obtain data with a specific purpose and use, the method that researchers use is the Qualitative Method. From the results of research and discussion that the authors have done at the RS. Kartika Pulo Mas, the authors conclude that the internal control of drug supplies at the hospital. Kartika Pulo Mas has been implemented properly and is running in accordance with applicable regulations. This can be seen from the stages of the SOP that have been implemented which include planning, implementation, reporting and follow-up has been carried out in accordance with applicable regulations.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of creative thinking among students in the learning process. This condition can be seen from the students' answers, which are still limited to the contents of the textbook without showing any creative ideas. One of the causes is the lack of teaching materials that can foster creative thinking skills. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of using scientific-based worksheets integrated with verses from the Qur'an on students' creative thinking skills. These worksheets are designed to stimulate interest in learning, foster curiosity, and encourage students to think creatively through the connection between learning concepts and Islamic values. The type of research used is experimental research with a Quasi Experimental design of the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design type. The population and sample in this study consisted of 15 people, namely all fourth-grade students at SDN 09 Simabur, with a sampling technique of total sampling. The research instrument used was an essay test to measure students' creative thinking skills. The results showed that the average pretest score was 53.67, while the average posttest score increased to 89.67. Based on the significance test results, a value of 0.000 < 0.05 was obtained, indicating a significant effect of the use of scientific-based worksheets integrated with verses from the Qur'an on students' creative thinking skills. Thus, it can be concluded that scientific worksheets integrated with verses from the Qur'an are effective in improving the creative thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SDN 09 Simabur.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of the analysis of the needs of teachers and students, which indicate that they have not yet been able to develop students' understanding of natural and social phenomena holistically. However, in practice, there are still various obstacles in IPAS learning, especially in fostering students' critical and scientific thinking skills. One of the problems often encountered is the lack of teaching materials that can produce scientific concepts with religious values, particularly from an Islamic perspective. The purpose of this research is to develop a scientific-based Student Worksheet that integrates verses from the Qur'an. The type of this research is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model, which includes Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The data collection technique used is the Validity Questionnaire and the Practicality Questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the LKPD developed based on the results from validators 1, 2, and 3 are categorized as very valid with a total score of 98%, and the results of the teacher practicality test are categorized as very valid with a total score of 100%, while the results of the student practicality test are categorized as very valid with a total score of 99%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Scientific-Based LKPD integrated with Quranic verses in the IPAS subject for 4th grade elementary school is categorized as valid and practical.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat literasi dan minat baca di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar masih menjadi tantangan signifikan dalam konteks pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mendeskripsikan upaya guru dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa di SD Negeri Tigo Jangko melalui pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan tiga guru kelas V, observasi lapangan, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan triangulasi teknik untuk menjamin keabsahan. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa guru menerapkan dua pilar strategis utama: penciptaan lingkungan literasi yang mendukung dan pembentukan kebiasaan literasi rutin. Strategi lingkungan mencakup pengelolaan pojok baca secara partisipatif, penggunaan "Pohon Bacaan" sebagai media refleksi visual, serta penerapan sistem absensi terstruktur dengan insentif akademik. Sementara itu, pembiasaan dipupuk melalui program literasi pagi selama 10 menit yang konsisten sebelum pembelajaran dimulai. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara fasilitas fisik dan intervensi pedagogis yang konsisten secara efektif menumbuhkan kebiasaan membaca, meningkatkan fokus siswa, dan membina minat baca yang berkelanjutan. Hasil ini menegaskan peran guru sebagai agen perubahan yang krusial dalam mengembangkan strategi literasi yang kontekstual dan partisipatif di pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran brainstorming. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Brainstorming pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dan dibuktikan dari rata-rata hasil perhitungan siklus I dan siklus II. Dimana nilai rata-rata siklus 1 yaitu 53 sedangkan nilai rata-rata siklus II yaitu 72. Jadi, analisis hasil belajar siswa membuktikan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Brainstorming dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI UPTD SD Negeri 54 Barru pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam.

Abstract

The birth of premature babies remains one of the polemics and is a contributor to the highest mortality rates in the world. Kangaroo mother care is a solution that can maintain the baby's body temperature economically because it only uses a long cloth and the heat comes from the mother or father's body through skin-to-skin contact. The purpose of this study is to understand the implementation of kangaroo mother care in the NICU room at RSUD Labuang Baji, Makassar City. The research design used in this study is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The sample was determined using a total sampling method with a total of 18 respondents. The research instruments were questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of the study showed that all 18 respondents had carried out KMC according to SOP. Regarding the duration of KMC implementation, 7 respondents carried out KMC for <2 hours and 11 mothers carried out KMC for >2 hours. A total of 18 respondents performed intermittent KMC. A total of 18 respondents were fully supported by healthcare workers, partners, and family in carrying out KMC. The conclusion of this study is that the KMC management intervention has been implemented in accordance with SOPs. The duration carried out by respondents performing KMC varied and was done intermittently. Respondent support in the implementation of KMC has been good. All respondents received support from healthcare workers, husbands, and family.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of YouTube videos in improving vocabulary acquisition among vocational EFL students. A mixed-methods within-subject design was employed involving 32 third-year vocational students in Indonesia. Quantitative data were collected through pre-test and post-test vocabulary assessments and analyzed using paired-samples t-tests, while qualitative data were obtained from semi-structured interviews to explore students’ learning experiences. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ vocabulary achievement, with the mean score increasing from 56.84 (SD = 8.21) in the pre-test to 78.12 (SD = 7.65) in the post-test (p < .001), indicating a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 1.32). These findings confirm a substantial gain in vocabulary mastery after the integration of YouTube videos in instruction. Qualitative analysis revealed that YouTube-based learning enhanced students’ motivation and engagement through audiovisual input, contextualized examples, and varied learning materials. Students reported that visual support, pronunciation models, and repeated exposure helped them understand and retain new vocabulary more effectively. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified, including fast speech rates, occasional subtitle inaccuracies, and the need to verify vocabulary correctness. Overall, the study concludes that YouTube video-based learning is an effective instructional tool for supporting vocabulary development in vocational EFL contexts when supported by structured instructional design and appropriate teacher guidance.
