Abstract

This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of Madrasah Aliyah students in Fiqh, as preliminary research shows that only 70% of tenth-grade students met the minimum competency criteria (KKM) of 75, indicating suboptimal performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the need for the development of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) through an Android application to improve Fiqh learning outcomes at MAN 2 Bandung and MAS Baitus Shofaa Ciheulang Ciparay Bandung. The research design employs a naturalistic qualitative approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, and data collection methods include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using techniques of data reduction, data presentation, and verification.Research results revealed three key findings: 1) There is a need for more engaging, tech-based learning in Fiqh education, and the "MaBar Fiqih" app could boost student interaction and critical thinking. 2) The Fiqh curriculum at both madrasas, following Kurikulum Merdeka, integrates key topics like zakat and hajj into an Android-based PjBL to enhance practical learning. 3) MAN 2 students are more tech-savvy, while MAS Baitus Shofa students are eager to learn despite lower digital literacy, making PjBL adaptable to both groups' needs for better engagement and outcomes.

Abstract

Background: Utilization of legume plants rich in protein and highly favored by livestock is an effective approach to improving the quality of ruminant livestock feed. In this context, Butterfly Pea (Clitoria ternatea) is widely used as livestock feed due to the high protein content, organic matter digestibility, energy digestibility, and metabolizable energy of 21–29%, 69.7%, 66.6%, and 12.4 MJ/kg, respectively. During development, there are still obstacles posed by the low germination rate of Butterfly Pea seeds because of strong seed dormancy. Purpose: Therefore, this research aimed to examine the effects of soaking Butterfly Pea seeds in different concentrations of sulfuric acid solutions on germination percentage, rate, and hypocotyl length. Methods: A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used with three treatments and five replications, namely P1 (15% sulfuric acid for 15 minutes), P2 (30% sulfuric acid for 15 minutes), and P3 (45% sulfuric acid for 15 minutes). Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results: The results showed that increasing sulfuric acid concentration influenced all measured parameters. Germination percentage increased from 25.60 ± 2.45% in P1 to 29.60 ± 2.99% in P2, reaching 28.80 ± 3.87% in P3. The highest germination rate was observed in P3 (5.10 ± 0.21%/day), with hypocotyl length also showing the highest value at 7.15 ± 0.41 cm. Conclusion: P3 at 45% concentration for 15 minutes was most effective in increasing germination and initial growth of Butterfly Pea seeds.

Abstract

The ability to design lesson planning is an ability that must be possessed by educators. This model is a design model that offers a continuous process and corresponds to this competence in PAI learning. This research implements a field research model with a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SDN 258 Voluntary Bandung City which aimed to see the results of the implementation of the dick and carey model in the development of PAI learning in elementary schools. The research data was obtained from interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers and students. Observations were made on the implementation of the dick and carey model in the PAI learning process. Documentation in the form of a review of teaching modules. Analysis techniques include data reduction, data verification and conclusions. The results of the study stated the steps applied in the implementation at SDN 258 Voluntary including first, identifying learning objectives Second, conducting teaching analysis. Third, identify data on students' behavior and their personalities. Fourth, describe the purpose of performance. Fifth, formulate benchmark reference test items. Sixth, use relevant learning strategies. Seventh, sort and develop teaching materials. Eighth, designing and developing formative evaluations in the form of teaching and learning activities. Ninth, revise the learning program.

Abstract

The phenomena of moral degradation, low academic discipline, and weak self-awareness among students pose major challenges for modern education. In this context, self-control (mujahadah an-nafs), as taught in Islam, is strongly relevant to the theory of self-regulated learning (SRL) in educational psychology. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method aimed at analyzing the concept of mujahadah an-nafs in educational exegesis and its relevance to the theory of self-regulated learning. The findings reveal that mujahadah an-nafs, which proceeds through six systematic stages: ma‘rifatul aduww, muraqabah, muhasabah, mu‘aqabah, riyadhah, and istiqamah, demonstrates significant convergence with Zimmerman’s three phases of self-regulated learning (forethought, performance, and self-reflection). These findings yield an integrative model that offers a holistic educational paradigm, overcomes the dichotomy between academic and character education, and provides an applicable framework for developing self-regulated learning grounded in Islamic spiritual values within the context of strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

The cybernetic theory developed by Landa is closely related to a process, but apart from the learning process, there is another more focused process, namely the thinking process which can be reflected in the activities in the learning material. This research is intended to examine the cybernetic thinking process in activities that must be carried out by students in the material of believing in the books of Allah and loving the Koran in the Islamic education and character books for class VIII middle school. This research uses qualitative methods with literature study which is then explained and described in the results and discussion. The results of this research suggest that the activities in the Islamic education and character books for class VIII SMP in the material of believing in the books of Allah and loving the Koran contain cybernetic thinking processes.
