Abstract

Increasingly fierce business competition requires banks to increase competitiveness in attracting investors. Investors before investing their funds need information about the company's performance. The use of bank financial statements requires information that can be understood, relevant, and can be compared to evaluating the bank's financial position and performance as well as being useful in economic decision-making. This study was conducted to find out whether the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) have an effect on Retrun On Asset (ROA) in state-owned banks for the period 2015 – 2022. The method used in this study is a quantitative method.  The population in this study is state-owned banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2015 – 2022. The population used by 4 banks. The number of samples studied was 32 obtained from 4 banks multiplied by 8 years of financial statements. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression which includes classical assumption tests, as well as partial tests (t-test) and simultaneous tests (F-test) with a significant level () = 0.05 percent. The data was tested using the help of  IBM SPSS version 26 software and Microsoft Excel. The results of the study show that the hypothesis of the t-test is a significant value (Sig) for the CAR variable of 0.009 < 0.05, and t-count (2.792) > t-table (2.04227), so  the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) has an influence on Return On Asset (ROA). The significant value (Sig) for the DER variable is 0.000 < 0.05, and the t-count (-4.159) < t-table (2.04227), so the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has no effect on  the return on asset (ROA) of the stock. For the F test, which is a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, and F-count (21.509) > F-table (3.34), then simultaneously there is an influence on Return On Asset (ROA). The conclusions obtained in this study show that the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) partially affects Return On Asset (ROA), while Debt to Equity Ratio (ROA) has no effect on Return On Asset (ROA). Simultaneously, the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) have an effect on Return On Asset (ROA)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of herbal supplementation as a feed additive, through feeding, on the relative weight of visceral organs and the number of pathogenic bacteria in the small intestine and IOFC of ayam kampung. The method used was the experimental method, which consisted of 2 treatment groups, namely group T0 (chickens were only given basal feed, without the addition of herbs) and group T1 (chickens were given basal feed and additional of 1% herbs). Each group consisted of 50 cross-breeding ayam kampung, namely Joper and KUB. The variables measured were the relative weight of the visceral organs (heart, pancreas, liver, spleen and bursa of Fabricius) and the number of pathogenic bacteria in the small intestine (Clostridium, Staphylococcus, Mycobacterium, Pasteurella). The results showed that the administration of 1% herbs to Joper and KUB did not affect the relative weight of the visceral organs tested and no pathogenic bacteria were found in the small intestine in both Joper and KUB chickens. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that 1% herbal supplementation as a feed additive has a positive effect on the health of the heart, digestive glands, lymphoid glands, and no pathogenic bacteria are found in the small intestine of ayam kampung, both Joper and KUB

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the influence of trade openness, ICT, per capita income, and Human Development Index on environmental quality in Upper-Middle Income countries in the short and long term and how per capita income influenced environmental quality in the U-shaped EKC hypothesis in Upper-Middle Income countries over the 1990-2020 periods using the VECM Panel analysis. Several findings were revealed in this research. First, the coefficient of trade openness in the long-term and short-term on environmental quality was positive and statistically significant at the 1% level. Second, the relationship between ICT and environmental quality had a positive influence in the short term and a negative influence in the long term. Third, the relationship between per capita income and environmental quality positively influenced the long- and short-term. In these findings, an increase in per capita income increased carbon dioxide, which caused a decrease in environmental quality and emerged an inverted U relationship in the long- and short-term of the EKC hypothesis in UMI countries, with the turning point in the short-term being US$ 728,530 and in the long-term US$ 772,839. Finally, the Human Development Index in this research positively influences environmental quality in the short- and long-term. The outcomes of this study have considerable Policy implications regarding trade openness policy formulation to reduce environmental degradation, especially in Upper Middle-Income Countries.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the failure of some formal educational institutions in Indonesia to apply the purpose of holistic Islamic education, resulting in the decadence of students’ morality. The evidence of students’ moral decadence is the high number of inter-student quarrels and the number of extramarital pregnancies in the last 8 years; that number is up 20 percent compared to the previous period. Holistic Islamic education should balance reason, morals, and physical students to produce intelligent graduates. Based on resourceful education, moral education, and physical education, this study discusses the implementation of holistic Islamic education purposes based on totally Muslim and truly intellectual in the IAIN Ponorogo postgraduate program. Using a qualitative approach, this study traces the concept of educational objectives in the IAIN Ponorogo postgraduate program and its implementation of education goals. The research period is limited to 2022, while the total number of informants is seven people. The data analysis uses content analysis methods such as data reduction, display, and conclusion. The data display uses domain analysis. The results of the study show that the three, that is, phase A (dhikr, thinking, and behavior), phase B (multidiscipline and multi-culture), and phase C (nobility, novelty, and solution) of implementations of holistic Islamic education purpose based on totally Muslim truly intellectual in the IAIN Ponorogo postgraduate program -, are relevant to the resourceful education, moral education, and physical education goals.
