Abstract

This study aims to analyze how students in the Physics Education Study Program construct their understanding of integrating scientific and Islamic knowledge, based on Peter L. Berger's social construction theory. This study utilized a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed using the interactive model proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which includes data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the social construction among Physics Education students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga occurs through three processes: externalization, objectivation, and internalization. Externalization occurs when students express ideas, concepts, and opinions during academic discussions, particularly in courses focused on the integration of Islam and Science as well as in related religious studies within organizations. Objectivation happens when their ideas regarding the integration of Islamic knowledge and science gain acceptance during academic discussions, leading to a consensus that it is crucial for physics educators to integrate Islamic teachings with scientific knowledge. Internalization takes place when students develop a sense of awe, wonder, and gratitude for God's creation. They become accustomed to reading verses from the Quran and recognize that religious and Islamic knowledge are interconnected and complementary, rather than separate entities.

Abstract

Learning with teaching material based on higher-order thinking skill could improve the learners’ understanding. This community service research provides training and mentorship for physics educators to compose innovative physics teaching materials. Twenty educators from Islamic Senior High Schools joined the community service activity. The success of the activity was observable on the educators while mentoring the teaching material preparation. The educators have high interest on the activities. They had the same objectives in the activity to create innovative teaching materials. Thus, the students while learning physics had high learning motivation. Generally, the program implementation remained within the activity orders, the workshop and training to develop teaching materials and HOTS-based assessment. The developed teaching material made the teachers enthusiastic to develop the HOTS-based teaching material. The products consisted of three HOTS-based modules, one book, one HOTS-based assessment, and three copyrighted works of the teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know insatiable behavior in the “Necklace” and its connection to social media consumerism The methodology of this study is a qualitative research method. The primary source of data is the “Necklace” short story, and the secondary source of the data is the dialogue, and action done by the main character. The result of this study shows that insatiable behaviors can be seen from the character Mme. Loisel. Her insatiable behaviors comes from her dissatisfaction about life. She's trying so hard to look like those who come from upper class society. Her jealousy on her friend, led her to the insatiable desire and her consumerism behavior. This behavior has connection to modern day's consumerism behavior.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze Discourse Markers (DMs) found in news article of The Jakarta Post. The writer used a descriptive qualitative method, in which the data were sentences that contain discourse markers in the articles. The data were analyzed by applying the theory of discourse markers from Halliday and Hasan (1976). The result showed there were 81 discourse markers included 54 additive markers, 7 adversative markers, 7 causal markers, and 3 temporal/continuative markers. From the data found it can also be concluded that additive markers are the most frequently used in the article.

Abstract

This study is aimed to find out; 1) Plot deconstruction in Gretel Hansel movie storyline compared to the original story. 2) Characterization of Hansel Gretel deconstruction in Gretel Hansel character movie compared to the original story. The data analysis technique in this study is using literature study technique by collecting dialogue and proofs, then combine with descriptive qualitative as a research method. By using those method and technique, the result shows that the plot has deconstructed Gretel and Hansel movie into horror and thriller atmosphere. The idea was to, look for the opposition binaries and analyse Gretel and Hansel character. The deconstruction of plot take place with the background of Gretel and Hansel where they lived with their mother, without a father and there is no scene when Hansel leaving a mark in a street as used to be in original story. The deconstruction of character also existed on Gretel and Hansel character, where in movie Hansel is innocent, weak, submissive and coward. Abstract

Gender inequality is a social problem where there is discrimination or unequal treatment between men and women in access to important resources in human life. The issue of male dominance and restrictions on rights and roles by patriarchal culture have successfully shaped the shackles and discrimination of women around the world. This discrimination is the basis for the feminist movements that emerged as a manifestation of the desire to fight for women's rights in social life. In this globalization era, social issues such as gender inequality are illustrated in the form of movies. The movie Enola Holmes is one example of an illustration of gender inequality in a patriarchal society. Enola Holmes 2 is what gave rise to the researcher's desire to conduct a deeper study on the issue of gender inequality. This study aims to analyze the forms of gender inequality and how the issue of gender inequality affects the female characters in the movie Enola Holmes 2. This study is a descriptive qualitative study, the primary data is taken from the movie Enola Holmes 2 itself and the secondary data is taken from the transcript of the movie. The researcher uses the theory of patriarchy by Walby (2017) to analyze the issue of gender inequality and feminism in the movie Enola Holmes 2. The results of this study are packaged in the form of a thesis entitled "Gender Inequality Towards Male Domination in The Movie Enola Holmes 2".

Abstract

This study explores the concept of deconstruction within the short story Burung Kecil dan Hujan by Yanusa Nugroho, applying poststructuralist theory to uncover how binary oppositions, decentering, and differance are utilized to challenge established meanings and hierarchies. Deconstruction, a method pioneered by Derrida, questions fixed values, revealing the fluidity and instability of meaning within texts. By identifying binary oppositions and analyzing how they are dismantled, this research examines the displacement of traditional centers of power in the narrative. Through the concept of differance, the analysis highlights how meanings in the text remain open to multiple interpretations, destabilizing conventional understandings. This qualitative study aims to deepen the appreciation of poststructuralist methods in literature, demonstrating how Burung Kecil dan Hujan resists fixed interpretations and presents a space for new readings of cultural narratives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Kebijakan Sistem Informasi Kearsipan Dinamis Terintegrasi (SRIKANDI) di Pemerintah Kabupaten Madiun serta mengevaluasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilannya. SRIKANDI dirancang untuk mendukung e-government dengan efisiensi anggaran administrasi pemerintahan melalui pengelolaan kearsipan berbasis teknologi informasi, diatur dalam Peraturan Presiden Nomor 95 Tahun 2018 tentang Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik dan diperkuat oleh Keputusan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi Nomor 679 Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengadopsi Teori Kebijakan Publik Edward III, yang menyoroti empat dimensi: komunikasi, sumber daya, disposisi, dan struktur birokrasi, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disposisi merupakan faktor paling dominan dalam keberhasilan implementasi SRIKANDI, di mana sikap apatis, keraguan, dan kurangnya kepercayaan pelaksana kebijakan terhadap SRIKANDI menjadi hambatan signifikan, dengan penyebab utama meliputi kurangnya kompetensi IT pengguna, persepsi bahwa aplikasi sulit dioperasikan, serta transisi dari paradigma kerja manual ke digital yang belum matang. Selain itu, gangguan operasional, seperti ketidakandalan server, semakin memperburuk tingkat kepercayaan terhadap kebijakan ini. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan implementasi SRIKANDI, perlu dilakukan penguatan kompetensi IT bagi pelaksana kebijakan dan peningkatan keandalan infrastruktur, dengan implikasi pentingnya investasi dalam pelatihan dan infrastruktur untuk mendukung transisi menuju sistem kearsipan yang lebih efisien dan efektif.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Stunting merupakan masalah serius yang masih dihadapi dan belum sepenuhnya dapat dicegah dan diatasi. Kegiatan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan , mengedukasi dan memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat terutama kaum ibu tentang pencegahan stunting pada anak usia dini. Kegiatan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan dilakukan di TK dan PAUD yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Ciruas, Lebak Wangi Dan Kragilan. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dengan menggunakan ceramah, dialog interaktif, diskusi dan tanya jawab berhadiah.Sosialisasi ini telah membuka wawasan masyarakat tentang stunting pada anak sangat berdampak pada masa depan mereka dimana anak stunting akan memiliki kesulitan dan gagal fokus dalam belajar. Ini berakibat kualitas pendidikan si anak stunting menjadi rendah dan tidak mampu bersaing di dunia kerja dan akan mempengaruhi pendapatan mereka dan berakibat ekonomi menjadi rendah. Himbauan untuk datang ke Posyandu harus dilakukan karena.Kegiatan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan dilakukan di TK dan PAUD yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Ciruas, Lebak Wangi Dan Kragilan sudah membuktikan bahwa masih banyak orangtua terutama ibu – ibu yang belum mengetahui gejala serta dampak stunting pada anak baik dari segi pendidikan si anak dimasa depan serta perkonomiannya. Dengan diadakannya sosialisasi tersebut maka terbukalah wawasan para orangtua untuk bekerjasama dalam hal membesarkan anak-anak mereka dengan mengutamakan pemberian gizi terbaik yang sesuai dengan tahapan tumbuh kembang si anak. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Kesehatan, Stunting, Anak Usia Dini.  ABSTRACT Stunting is a serious problem that is still being faced and has not been fully prevented and overcome. This Field Experience Practice Activity aims to socialize, educate and provide information to the community, especially mothers, about preventing stunting in early childhood. Field Experience Practice Activities are carried out in kindergartens and PAUDs located in the Ciruas, Lebak Wangi and Kragilan Districts. The method used is socialization using lectures, interactive dialogues, discussions with prizes. This socialization has opened the community's insight into stunting in children which has a major impact on their future where stunted children will have difficulty and fail to focus on learning. This results in the quality of education of stunted children being low and unable to compete in the world of work and will affect their income and result in a low economy. The appeal to come to the Posyandu must be done because. Field Experience Practice Activities carried out in Kindergartens and PAUD in the Ciruas, Lebak Wangi and Kragilan Districts have proven that there are still many parents, especially mothers, who do not know the symptoms and impacts of stunting on children, both in terms of the child's education in the future and their economy. By holding this socialization, the insight of parents is opened to work together in raising their children by prioritizing the provision of the best nutrition that is in accordance with the stages of the child's growth and development. Keywords: Health Education, Stunting, Early Childhood

Abstract

Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi Smart PLS merupakan langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis data di kalangan dosen perguruan tinggi. Dalam konteks akademik yang semakin kompetitif, pemahaman yang mendalam tentang metode analisis data seperti Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 26 Juni 2024, dengan melibatkan 32 peserta dari berbagai institusi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi sesi teori dan praktik, di mana peserta diajarkan cara mengoperasikan aplikasi Smart PLS secara langsung. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terhadap konsep SEM dan penggunaan aplikasi, dengan 85% peserta merasa lebih percaya diri dalam menerapkan teknik analisis ini dalam penelitian mereka. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga berhasil menciptakan forum diskusi yang produktif di antara peserta, yang diharapkan dapat memperkuat kolaborasi akademik di masa mendatang. Kesimpulannya, pelatihan ini tidak hanya memperkaya keterampilan analitis dosen tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi positif bagi peningkatan kualitas penelitian di perguruan tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan betapa pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi akademik di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi.
